Naruto: The First Shinobi War

In this rp the characters Naruto and such aren't born yet. During the First Shinobi War there was a tale unrecorded in the scrolls of old.

Before the First Shinobi War the world was divided into not Hidden Villages but Clans. A war sparked not only between the Uchiha and Senju Clans. Even with the Village Hidden in the Leaves created and stable and Madara Uchiha's death, there still remained those who despised Hashirama and the village itself. With the sealing of the Nine-Tails Fox into Mito Uzumaki, most thought the peace would last a lifetime.

However...the peace did not last. Following Madara's death, a boy was found not far from the Valley where he was killed. This boy possessed a unique form of the Sharingan and was brought into the Hidden Leaf Village and taken into the Uchiha Clan that resided there. It wasn't long before he enrolled in the Acadamy with the other kids of the Village. The boy possessed advanced powers of the Sharingan and because of it, the people of Konoha feared him. Isolating the child, the possibility of a life-changing event drew ever nearer.

3. As stated at the beginning, characters like Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke aren't born yet. This is the time of Harashirama and Madara.
4. Madara is dead. Tobi (since his identity is yet to be revealed) is not playable.

6. In order to have a rank higher than Acadamy student, Genin or Chunin, inbox/PM me. Such as: Jonin, Black Ops, Kage, Instructor, or Sensei.

 

Ryoko had woken up in a hurry. It was the last year that she would be in the Academy (at least, that's what she hoped) and she had woken up late again. She had been up late, again, coming up with the best strategy for her homework, even though the teacher wasn't necessarily asking for them to be the world's greatest planner at their young ages.

She ran out of her house, half choking on the milk in her throat, and a peace of bread stuck in her mouth.

"Crap, crap, crap," Ryoko muttered to herself as she ran through the streets to try to make it to the Academy on time.

 

Tetsuya yawned as he walked to the Academy, not quite awake to be worried about being late. His eyes drooped lazily as he tried to stifle another yawn, his stomach growling grumpily at him. Hands in pockets, back arched, and feet dragging, Tetsuya continued his walk. The young shinobi-in-training continued to bite his lower-lip out of hunger, wishing he had grabbed some breakfast. Cursed hindsight! Tetsuya thought, turning a corner. All of a sudden, he heard the stomping of feet and whispered words from the street to his left. "Eh?" He murmured, unable to register the potential danger of Ryoko's charge.

Tetsuya stopped for a moment, trying to figure out her rush... and then it clicked. "Ack! Ryoko-chan, slow down!" He yelped, eyes wide, frozen in place. The young shinobi was too tired to even react, his body refusing to move out of her way. Oh crap, Tetsuya thought. I'm going to be mowed down by 90 pounds of estrogen!

 

Ryuu placed his chin down on the table where he sat. Sensei was late...and so were a bunch of kids. No one took classes seriously. Sighing, Ryuu surveyed those who were there. A bunch of nobodies...and Asuka Hyuga. What a bother to be in the same class as that air-head....but one day he would be strong and he knew it. "Hmph..."

Episode 1: Enter: Ryuu, Tetsuya and Ryoko!​

Standing, Ryuu had enough waiting. Glancing out the window he stared at the tree with the swingset. This...was his final year in the Acadamy...

~Meanwhile~

Their homeroom teacher, Shikashi, tapped his books on his shoulder as he walked, humming. "Nice day... huh?" He noticed Tetsuya and a little further down the road, Ryoko. It looked like it was going to be a collision. Without moving a muscle, he watched, his head swirling with information about the two. Tetsuya...his mother was Mito Uzumaki...wasn't she? Yes...the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tailed Fox Spirit, Kurama. This boy...was their closest link left to the First Hokage. The question still remained if he knew it or not. Did he remember his father? Was he even allowed to see his mother? Normal people weren't allowed to see Mito. Looking towards the Hokage's house, he wondered what the Second Hokage thought of his nephew.

ooc: as you can see, I'm probably using all of the brain power I have this early in the morning to make the connections to the future generations clear.

 

"Huh," Ryoko was able to let out as she heard Tetsuya yelling at her, but she wasn't able to stop at the rate she was going.

She ran straight into the young boy, the piece f bread flying out of her mouth and onto a small patch of muddy ground. Ryoko shook her head before noticing that her legs were up and ht air and her skirt losing its fight against gravity.

Ryoko blushed, and quickly got herself situated. She grabbed Tetsuya out of reflex by his shirt, giving him a stare of death.

"you better not have seen anything," Ryoko said to him through gritted teeth.

 

Tetsuya groaned after the impact, trying to regain his senses. He put a hand to his head at first, to make sure he wasn't bleeding... and applying pressure to make sure the top of his head wouldn't explode. "Man oh man," Tetsuya groaned. Before he could say anything else, he noticed Ryoko's legs, then her falling skirt...

Ryoko quickly situated herself and grabbed him, giving him a rather scary glare. He quickly threw up both of his hands. "I saw nothing, scary monster lady Ryoko-chan!!!" Tetsuya squeaked, giving a fierce, reassuring grin. "So... you won't hurt me now, right?" The young Uzumaki asked, practically pleading.

 

With clenched teeth, Ryoko stared down Tetsuya. She wasn't too sure if he was telling the truth, or if he was avoiding getting punched. Granted, it was all an accident, but she was still feeling very embarassed. A few seconds passed, and Ryoko decided to grant mercy on the boy for the time being.

"Fine, but you're buying my lunch today for bumping into me," Ryoko said, releasing the boy from his grip. She brushed off some of the dirt that had gotten on her attire, but there was a stain on her lower part of her shirt that would require some serious washing to get off. "Freaking great," she muttered to herself.

 

After Ryoko released Tetsuya, the young boy sighed with relief... before he realized that he was buying her lunch, despite the fact she charged into him. "H-hey!" He cried, swiftly leaping to his feet. "You bumped into me, Ryoko-chan!" Tetsuya whined, his stomach growling viciously. The thought of food stole the energy he had and he began to fold into himself, eyes closed, groaning with hunger. Why did I skip breakfast? Tetsuya questioned, opening one eye to look up at the tall girl (or, to say the least, she was taller than the otherwise short Uzumaki child). He gave her a weak smile, a weak little laugh. "You're not being fair," Tetsuya added, complaining.

 

Ryoko crossed her arms, disappointed with the outcome. She had plenty of money, but, to her, nothing could beat out a free lunch. "You should have more careful of your surroundings," Ryoko said to him. Her stomach growled as she notice her ruined breakfast on the floor. Of course, she remembered why she was in such a hurry in the first place"

"We'll figure this out later. We should hurry to the Academy. Let's go!"

 

Tetsuya was about to argue the point, but thought better of it. She'll probably guilt me into buying her lunch if I continue to argue with her, he thought dismally. Ryoko put an end to the conversation immediately by reminding him of the Academy. He sighed, shook his head, and smiled widely. Perhaps, if he was lucky, he could score a bite to eat by asking a student to lend him some food. Tetsuya had some money, enough to buy food for a week; but it was only that. Food to live off of for just one week. He mentally groaned at that bitter reminder. He shook his head again.

Tetsuya ran after Ryoko, following her to the Academy. They were quite late, he knew.

 

Soon after Tetsuya and Ryoko entered the Acadamy and their classroom, Ryuu had no choice but to take his seat as their teacher stood behind the late pair. He had a strained look on his face, "Late as usual, you two....WHY CAN'T YOU EVER BE ON TIME FOR CLASS!?" Ryuu shut his eyes on the sight of the late pair. Shikashi pushed the two towards their seats, "Well, sit down." He walked to the podium at the front of the class and set his books down, "Alright. Welcome to your last and final year of attending the Acadamy. To make things a bit shorter...the Hokage has given his approval to graduate you all IF you can pass the graduation test at an early stage." He smiled at them even as some of them groaned. "Now, now...it won't be as hard as you think it is. Let's see...this time the graduation test will be...ah, the Clone Jutsu. Alright everyone, line up. We'll get started right away!"

 

Ryoko slumped in her chair, attempting to catch her breath from running over to her classroom. She heard the sensei's announcement to the class. She stood up, and did as their sensei had instructed the class to do. She was the third student in line, although she wished that she had taken the smart move and took a position much further back. She wasn't terrible at the cloning jutsu, but it wasn't something that she excelled at either. Ryoko's palms started to sweat as she already started channeling her chakra.

 

Tetsuya jumped high as Shikashi appeared from nowhere, surprising the youth out of his wits. He turned to look at the teacher and grinned apologetically, a nervous laugh escaping his slender throat. Shikashi led them to their seats, and as Tetsuya sat town, he scanned the room for Ryuu. He found the youth fascinating; he never talks, always alone, and extremely talented. Sadly, his eyes landed on Asuka, another class genius. Tetsuya didn't really like him, for Asuka was an overall jerk. He sighed and shook his head. Uzumaki Tetsuya then realized something else: Shikashi was talking.

Wait... what about Clones?! He asked himself, nearly falling out of his seat. Feeling waves of panic, Tetsuya got back out of his seat and approached the front of the classroom so he could participate in that... thing... Shikashi wanted them to do.

 

In the front of the line was a girl wearing a short kimono with thigh high stockings and normal sandals. She blushed fiercely and glanced at Ryuu who stood behind her. Opening her mouth to say something, Shikashi snapped his fingers, "Let's go. Hotaru, you're first." She closed her mouth and mumbled quietly, "Oh...yes, Sensei..." Shikashi barely needed to even lift his pen to mark if she wasn't ready. She made the handsign and transformed into...Shikashi-sensei. He smiled at her as she poofed out of her transformation, "You transformed into...me. Good job, Hotaru. Next...Ah, Ryuu Uchiha." Hotaru stepped off to the side and fiddled with her kimono as Ryuu stepped forwards, hands in his pockets. He lifted one hand to make the simple handsign and transformed into Shikashi also. "Good. A well done transformation. Who's next?" Ryuu passed Tetsuya and narrowed his eyes at the boy, lifting his chin, "Do your best...usuratonkachi." He smirked at him mockingly and kept walking back to his seat. Asuka caught his eye next and they glared at eachother.

 

Ryoko took her spot. She had hoped that at least one of the two in front of her would have failed at the jutsu do the pressure would be off her.

"Yes sir," Ryoko said, doing her best not to appear nervous.

She made the hand sign for the cloning jutsu, just as the others in front of her had. She closed her eyes and focused her chakra to transform her into her sensei.

There was a puff of smoke; Ryoko waited a few seconds before opening her eyes. Slowly, she forced them open to see that she was in a different body, upon further inspection, she had cloned herself to look exactly like Shikashi. Nervously, she laughed,

 

Tetsuya watched everyone and let out a sigh. "Thank goodness it wasn't Bunshin no Jutsu..." he laughed under his breath. As Ryuu came passing by, he smiled widely. When the Uchiha insulted him, he kept smiling. However, deep inside, he felt hurt. Not only was he not truly recognized by his peers, but he was also an orphan. He didn't know his mother or father, and thus he felt isolated. The current Hokage, however, took care of him, but it didn't seem the same as having a parent. Regardless, he felt alone... but that feeling only made him more determined to gain everyone's respect. I'll show you, Ryuu... he thought determinedly. I'll make you respect me as a shinobi! As Ryoko went up to perform her Henge, he privately cheered for her. Tetsuya smiled all the more widely as she successfully transformed into Shikashi.

 

Shikashi nodded and motioned for the next in line to move forwards. Tetsuya...he prayed the boy would do well. Asuka had taken his turn and most of the others too and sat back down. "Well Tetsuya...let's see it."

From the Hokage's window, Tobirama watched the village move effortlessly through daily life and smiled to himself. Today was the day the Acadamy Students would graduate if they worked hard enough.

 

Tetsuya flashed Shikashi a grin as it was his turn to go up. He took a couple of steps toward his sensei, paused, and performed the seal. Uzumaki Tetsuya gathered his chakra and focused on his teacher. In the back of his mind, he heard the sardonic Ryuu calling him an usuratonkachi repeatedly. It resonated in his thoughts, and he tried to push it away, out of his mind. However, it vexed him, made him feel as though the words were true. As if to help him clear his thoughts, he cried out "Henge!" A puff of smoke later, he appeared as an obese Ryuu rather than Shikashi-sensei, with big flabby lips, a piggish nose, wild black hair and droopy black eyes.

Tetsuya continued to smile, unaware of his failure.

 

Shikashi frowned immediately at the failed transformation. He opened his mouth to scold him when Ryuu cracked his knuckles loudly, "Usuratonkachi...! You're DEAD!" The young Uchiha boy jumped over the desks and tackled Tetsuya, causing the boy's transformation to dispell. He brought back his fist to punch him when Shikashi grabbed him up underneath his arms and lifted him off Tetsuya. "Tetsuya, that was very wrong of you. Your transformation was a failure. Ryuu...this is not a battlefield. You can't just attack anyone because of a slip-up. I want the both of you to stand in the hall and think about what you did." Ryuu glowered at Tetsuya and walked out the door. Shikashi sighed, the exhaustion showing on his face, "Those two..."

 

Tetsuya was saddened by the expression on Shikashi's face. He looked at himself and gasped. He was fat! And wearing Ryuu's clothes! The series of loud pops forced him to turn around and see Ryuu charging at him. "Ack!" He let out as he felt the heavy blow, tackled and pinned by the Uchiha. Tetsuya shut his eyes tight as he saw Ryuu cock his arm for a punch. After a moment, when the blow didn't come, he peeked out of one eye to see Shikashi holding the youth back. Tetsuya let out a sigh of relief, which quickly became a gasp of disbelief. It was an accident! He thought, frowning even after Shikashi scolded them. After Ryuu left, Tetsuya picked himself up, walked towards the door, paused, turned, and then bowed. "I'm sorry, Shikashi-sensei..." he murmured, genuinely apologizing. Tetsuya left the classroom hurriedly and stood out in the hall, at the opposite end of Ryuu. He fully expected for the Uchiha to explode in a violent rage.
