Characters and Discussion thread can be found here: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.p...inobi-quot-Characters-and-Dicussion&p=3267688 Naruto Wiki: http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Narutopedia Notes: This is a collaborative Role Play by daxma and me, LilBueno. As in, I'm posting this RP and I'm in charge, but it was daxma who started this and asked for my help and we came up with it together. So credit goes to him and he's my right-hand man here. Also, I'm getting into new RPing habits, one such thing being putting a "header" with my posts; do not feel like you have to do that as well lol. And finally, this is a Naruto RP, if you haven't guessed yet, but a complete OC driven RP. It takes place in a different timeline/universe/whatever from the actual series so there is no Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Lee, Gaara, etc. You ready? Background Story Long Ago "I am the one who will establish peace and order." It was an age of endless war. Man versus man. Brother vs. Sister. Father vs. Son. There was no such thing as Ninjutsu or shinobi; ninjas were an unheard of concept. That's when the Sage of the Six Paths appeared. He was the first man to understand the concept of chakra. He spread his ways and his religion, which soon evolved into Ninjutsu. Thus, shinobi were born. The Sage brought peace to the war-ridden world. Because of this, he was known as the Savior of the World. Being the creator of Ninjutsu, he was also known as the God of Shinobi. Over time, the world was split into several countries, with ninja villages within them. The Sage had given the people world peace. The Ten-Tailed Beast "He once saved the world from a monster." Several centuries ago, the world was attacked by primordial demon, a monster with Ten-Tails, the Jubi. The Sage, also known as the Rikudo, saved the world from this monster by sealing it within his body, thus becoming a Jinchuriki, a host of a Tailed Beast. However, the Rikudo knew that upon his death, the seal holding the Jubi in would break and release the monster upon the world once again. The Rikudo knew that the beast would be let loose to wreak havoc once he died, so upon his deathbed, he used a reality-changing Genjutsu, called Izanagi, to divide the Jubi's chakra into 9 separate entities. The 9 entities were the Tailed Beasts. Each beast had a number of tails, ranging from 1 to 9, with 9 having the most chakra. These beasts were scattered throughout the ninja world. As a final precaution, just before his death, the Rikudo used his own jutsu to seal the Jubi's body in a stone prison and sent it to the heavens, creating the moon. The Rikudo then died. The Tailed Beasts "The nine tailed beasts are nothing more than a division of the Jubi's chakra." The separation of the Jubi's chakra resulted in the Bijuu, or Tailed Beasts. Nine of them in total, these beasts were pure chakra, given a physical form the size of a mountain. After being born from the Jubi's chakra and given life by Izanagi, they were scattered across the world. Each one seemed to make its home in a certain area of the world, similar to their specific nature. They weren't always there, though. They would disappear for years at a time, and then reappear, only to wreak havoc on the surrounding villages. However, they would always return to their "home" before mysteriously disappearing. Their home was an area filled with its chakra, and, because of this, the Bijuu's power would increase whenever it was near its home. Sometimes, if one was lucky, you could find the Bijuu in its home in a rare state of sleep. If one was unlucky, you would find it awake. However, it would usually be gone. No one knew where the Bijuu went when they disappeared. The worst situations were when two or more Bijuu appeared at the same time. In rare cases, the Bijuu would cross paths. The Tailed Beasts were just that: beasts. They were wild, uncontrollable, unpredictable, rabid. They would fight each other, causing an unfathomable chaos. Any village caught in the wake of a Tailed Beast, or, even worse, the wake of a fight of Tailed Beasts would suffer almost complete destruction. It was because of this that the villages sought and found a solution. They would seal the Tailed Beasts into certain shinobi, creating Jinchuriki, just like the Rikudo. Jinchuriki "Jinchuriki generally hate people because of their own bad moods." The first Hokage of Konohagakure, the Village Hidden in the Leaves, had a special ability. His unique jutsu let him capture and control the Tailed Beasts. After a proposed alliance by all the villages, he did just that, and distributed the Bijuu among the villages. Each village had its own unique jutsu for sealing the Bijuu inside a host, but they all managed to do it. It was traditional for the Jinchuriki to be related to the Kage of its village, to prevent someone with such power from betraying the village. However, instead of being seen as heroes, the hosts were seen as monsters. They were ticking time bombs just waiting to go off and release the sealed monster. They were shunned by their fellow villagers. Because of this, it was common for the Jinchuriki to hate humanity. For the most part, Jinchurikis couldn't control their Bijuu. Only a handful of shinobi have been known to be able to completely control them. Jinchurikis are able to tap into their Tailed Beast's chakra, but doing it past a certain extent will let the Bijuu take control and eventually escape. Jinchurikis usually have some kind of physical trait that relates to their Bijuu. Whenever a Jinchuriki ventured into the home of its Bijuu, the Bijuu's chakra would increase the Jinchuriki's power and access to its inner Bijuu's chakra. However, this put them at even more risk of losing control of their Tailed Beast. It was for this reason that the each Bijuu was given to a village far from its home. The Fourth Great Shinobi War "Next time we meet, it will be on the battleground." The first war started shortly after the First Hokage distributed the Tailed Beasts. The peace treaty fell through and the war started. It finally ended in an armistice, but not after all Five Great Nations were severely damaged. The second war started when a small, but highly advanced and industrialized village, Amegakure, wanted more power. The war resulted in many casualties, but ended in the favor of Konoha. The third war resulted form the disappearance of the Kazekage, leader of Sunagakure. Sunagakure went to such lengths to find him, that they provoked other villages. They never found him, but the war ended. Now, there has been a war going for a few years. The reason? The last Tailed Beast and the strongest: Kyubi, the Nine-Tails. The one Tailed-Beast that no village had been able to capture after it escaped its host long ago. It was on the loose and the villages couldn't agree on who should get it once it's captured. The Kages simply declared war upon each other. Konoha and Kirigakure became allies in the war with Iwagakure and Kumogakure doing the same. Suna stayed neutral, not wanting to get involved. The Jinchuriki's Disappearances "Knowing pain controls ones thoughts and decisions." During the war, certain Jinchuriki have disappeared. At first, each side blamed the other, but they realized neither village was behind it. Instead, some mysterious organization had been collecting them. So far, they've captured the Five-Tailed, Six-Tailed, and Seven-Tailed Jinchurikis. No one knows any of the members of this organization, what village they're from, or their goal. But they can't be allowed to capture any more of the Jinchuriki. However, this isn't enough to stop the war and start an alliance. The Mizukage (leader of Kiri) sent out a squad, including his Jinchuriki, the Jinchuriki of a Konoha, and a few other shinobi to find the Nine-Tails before the organization could find it. The Raikage (leader of Kumo) did the same with his Jinchuriki and the Jinchuriki of Iwa with other shinobi to find the Nine-Tails before the organization or the Kiri/Konoha alliance can. What Suna and their Jinchuriki are doing, however, is a mystery as well. You are one of three people: A Jinchuriki or Shinobi from either Kiri, Konoha, Kumo, or Iwa in search of finding the Kyubi and stopping the other team from doing so. A Jinchuriki or Shinobi from Suna. You are a neutral party in this war. Your goal is a mystery to the rest of us. A member of the mysterious organization that is capturing the Jinchuriki for unknown reasons. =========================================================================== Bijuu - The Tailed Beasts Ichibi - The One Tail Spoiler The Raccoon-Dog Bijuu. Yes? Well, good job and congratulations, you're almost ready to join. No? Well, read it then. Now read the rules if you want to join~ General Role-Playing Rules No Godmodding (doing things your character can't do, knowing things they can't know, fighting unfairly, making your character unbelievable strong and undefeatable in battle) or Powerplaying (controlling someone else's character in any way) KHV has its own set of rules that you can read here: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?103707-UPDATED-RP-Section-Rules Most of that applies to me, the RPMaker, not you, but skim through them anyway. No fighting with or flaming each other through OOCs. Keep OOCs to a minimum or in the OOC thread. Any problems whatsoever, then talk to me about them. Basic knowledge of Naruto is required. You don't have to be completely up-to-date with the series or be a hardcore fan, but no one's going to explain to use what a jutsu is. Break the rules three times and you're out. Even less than three if you cause a huge problem. Romance and violence are PG-13. However, I'll allow swearing to a degree because I'll probably be the one swearing the most lol I always hate to add this rule, but I have to for the sake of my sanity: Proper grammar and spelling please? I can forgive spelling, but if your sentences don't make sense and I have no idea what a word is, I'm giving you a warning. To go along with that^, when someone is talking, put proper punctuation and quotations such as: "I'm going to be Hokage one day. Believe it!" Said Naruto. Kakashi looked at him and said, "Well, if you say so."----See? Quotes, comma, period, etc. When a person is thinking, no quotes, but put it in italics. If you enter an inner world to talk to your Bijuu, just let us know that's what's going on and then do the above. Be active. Try to post at least once a day or every other day. Ideally, you won't be the only online and will be able to progress the story a bit. I get to add rules whenever I want, but don't worry, I'll tell you what rule I'm adding when I'm adding. I'd be a dick if I didn't. I might also break some of my rules for plot purposes. If you feel like you need to do the same, ask me and I might let you. Post your character in the OOC thread located here: http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.p...inobi-quot-Characters-and-Dicussion&p=3267688 Character Rules Jinchuriki's are first come, first go. There's three left. You can pick the Jinchuriki you want and assign it to the village you want AS LONG as its home is not near the village. (Ichibi cannot be from Suna, Nibi cannot be from Kumo, and Yonbi cannot be from Iwa). If you really, really, really want a Jinchuriki but none's available, I might let you have one, but you're going to have a specific role in the RP. If you're going to have an Organization member, something has to be special about them. They either have a Kekkei Genkai or a unique jutsu (think Akatsuki). I'm going to say four characters per person minimum. Only one can be a Jinchuriki, only one can be in the Organization, and only one can have a Kekkei Genkai (not counting the Organization's). A Jinchuriki cannot have a Kekkei Genkai. They really do not need another advantage. No one can be a Kage. I control the Raikage and daxma controls the Mizukage. We will need other Kages later, but for now, that's it. Characters cannot be from the actual series (duh) but they can influence characters. No Jinchuriki is going to be in complete control of its Bijuu except the Three-Tails, for a reason I'll put in his profile. In other words, you are at risk of losing control. You are probably going to need help making Jinchuriki forms. I will be glad to help you with that. You can also see if daxma's willing. Jutsu Rules If I can't find your jutsu in the Naruto wiki, you can't use it without telling me about it first. Your character cannot have every freaking type of jutsu (see: godmodding). Make it realistic. Kekkei Genkai rules: You have to be in the clan that your jutsu comes from (No Kakashis). Sharingans cannot evolve to Mangekyou or Eternal, they go up to level 3. No Rinnegan at all. We might bend this rule for one or two people for plot purposes, but that won't happen anytime soon. Since this is an original RP, you have permission to put your clan in a different village (Uchihas can be from Iwagakure for example) but keep the last name that's in the series. No more than two people from the same clan. First person to pick that clan gets to put them in whatever village he wants and second person has to follow. Hiden (clan specific) jutsu are allowed. Just like Kekkei Genkai, you have to be part of the clan to know it, but it can be taught to anyone. If you make up a good reason why your shinobi knows this, I'll take it. For the purpose of this RP, Rasengan and Chidori are considered Hiden Jutsu. Any of Akatsuki's powers (from the series and minus Nagato/Pain and Zagato) can be used, but they have to be for the Organization. No special weapons unless your character has a reason to have them. S/he can be a Swordsmen of the Mist or Black Ops for your village, or whatever. It has to be some kind of elite. If you include this in your OC Form, just add it to their "Special Abilities" slot. Post your characters in the OOC thread which can be found here(there's also a link at the top of the page): I'm pretty sure I forgot a few rules so I'll add them as we go on.
