"Hey, just wanted to see if you were taking care of Namine," Larxene said. "But what happened to Marluxia? I thought he was - especially since he is supposed to be the leader of the Oblivion Castle."

"Your right......technically I should be at our new headquarters......helping Xigbar, Luxord, and the rest of them....." Saix said still blank, "but apparently Marluxia has gotten to thinking that he can disobey orders.....so I have taken over his job of caretaker of Namine...."

 

riku waits still

 

"I can take care of her if you like," Larxene said. "I won't hurt her if you don't want me to."

 

riku gets agurvated from waiting

 

"Why the sudden interest in Namine......" Saix asked suspiciously, "shes in my care.....what do you need her for...."

 

"I just think that Xigbar and the others need you more," Larxene said. "They've been complaining, and it's starting to get on my nerves."

 

"Really do they now...." Saix said still not totally trusting her, "I'll leave her in your temporary care....I'll report to our new headquarters....but I'll be back...." he said opening the door. "Namine, you are under Larxene's care for now.....but I'll be back....you don't have a problem with that do you?"

 

Namine shook her head. She didn't trust Larxene, but she didn't trust Saix either - it didn't really matter to her.

Saix walked over to Namine and whispered in her ear when Larxene wasn't looking, "if she abuses you tell me...." he said walking back over to Larxene, "ok she under your care for now....until I get back.....don't do anything that would make me mad while I'm gone...." he said opening a portal and stepping in.

 

"Of course not," Larxene smiled. When Saix was gone, she grabbed Namine by her arm roughly and said, "Okay, witch, come with me. I have a little project for you to do, and you have to hurry and do it before the Luna Diviner returns. I know I'm not supposed to make Saix mad, but if you keep resisting, I just might have to vent out my frustration. Do you want me to accidentally throw a kunai at you? Slicing one of your fingers off? Or maybe even your neck? So if you know what's good for you, you'd better listen." She pulled Namine to a room and handed her a journal. "Start drawing some fond memories of you and Riku together - that's not hard at all, is it?"

Namine tremblingly took it and began to draw. She was frightened, but knew she had no other choice.

 

Saix stepped out of the portal into the new headquarters, "hmmm...." he thought looking around, "everything looks to be in order here...it doesn't seem anyone needs my help either....." he said thinking about Larxene, "she better have not tricked me....that would make me very mad....." he said opening a portal and stepping in.

"Stop now," Larxene said. She knew that Saix could be coming back at any time, and she didn't went to be caught forcing Namine to do something. "Good job," she smiled. "Riku will probably want to be with you even more now. Won't you be glad to have your prince charming come and rescue you? Even risking his life?" She chuckled. "Too bad he doesn't know your true manipulative self." She turned a page on the journal for her. "Now, just draw whatever you please, Namine."

Namine sighed, and picked up a crayon, but she didn't draw anything. Maybe I really am a manipulative witch, she thought. Especially after what I did to Riku...he won't even want to look at me...

A portal opened up and Saix stepped out, he opened the door to the room and saw Larxene with Namine, "you said they needed my help.....everything looked like it was fine...." he said in a suspicious tone, "so...unless you have something else to say.....I would say you can leave...."

 

"That's weird," Larxene said, sounding confused. She had no emotion, but she did very well in acting as if she had one. "It wasn't like that earlier...but I guess they straightened everything out." She began to walk out of the room. "Well, Namine's fine - you can ask her if you don't believe me. So, bye!" She transported away, to where Riku was.

 

Saix shut the door and turned to Namine, "so everything went fine while I was away...." he said suspiciously looking at her, "I see you have your sketch book.....did some drawing did we?" he said walking over to her.
