Saix returned Namine's stare, "he can handle himself...." he said staring off into the distance, "its not I who will try and harm him.....but the heartless...." He noticed she was still sad, "I'll tell you what.....if it appears he is getting weak....I'll call them back....how does that sound?" he said blankly.

 

riku starts to figt the heartless

 

"If he is weak, will you leave him alone?" Namine asked.

 

"im not going to stop" said riku

 

"Yes....you have my word...." Saix said with a smile, "do you trust me?"

 

Namine didn't answer and looked down. I'll probably be forced to find Sora anyway...

 

riku starts getting tired

 

"Namine....do you trust me....." Saix said, "cause if you don't, then why should I do what you ask.....I am your caretaker....." he said turning to her blankly, "I could just follow the orders directly....I've been nice enough so far to go around some of them...."

 

"I trust you," Namine said, quietly. She was a bit frightened by him, and didn't want him to hurt her, or place her back in Marluxia's care.

 

Saix noticed Riku tiring from fighting heartless, "Having fun Riku?" he said with a laugh, "you should follow Namine's advice....run....." He looked down at Namine, "maybe this will get her to trust me more...." he thought, "Namine I'll let you speak with Riku for a short time if you wish....but you must promise me when you are finished you will return with me.....do we have a deal?" he said emotionlessly.

 

Namine looked up at Saix and wondered if he was planning something. But, still, she knew it would be better to agree. She nodded.

 

Saix snapped his fingers and the heartless around Riku disappeared and so did the ones around him and Namine, "there you are......remember our deal...." he said portaling away.

 

Namine rushed forward to Riku and embraced him, tears sliding down her cheeks. "Riku...I'm so scared..."

 

"well i donno wat to do" riku said frowning " no matter how hard i fight im not going to win without sora or roxas"




"some one call" roxas said coming out

 

"No, don't fight him," Namine pleaded, "you won't win...just stay far away...be safe."

 

Donald and Goofy ran in Riku! We're here ta help ya! Goofy called. They then noticed all the heartless were gone. Looks like we're late... Donald said Aw, shucks Goofy replied, Gwarsh I wonder what's goin' on? he said scratching his head. Only one way to find out! Donald said and he began to run towards Saix as he was leaving, Hey, wait! he called, but it was too late. They saw Roxas Uh oh Goofy commented

 

"no" riku snapped


"hey namine hey riku" said roxas

 

Namine was surprised that Riku was so upset and said, "But Saix..."
