And what about the Battle Frontier? Emerald did it first and best. It was like a whole new League challenge, almost on par with the second half of GSC. Not to mention, 3rd gen is when a lot of Pokemon and types stopped getting short-shafted; tons of new moves and species were introduced to give obscure types like Ghost, Dragon, Dark, and Steel more viability.

Plus Medicham is a bro ok

No. The games are all connected in some ways. They aren't like Zelda where each one doesn't always have a direct contact. Okay. Pokemon Red. The beginning. Pretty much nothing there cept Red demolishes Team Rocket. Pokemon Gold. Happens three years later. Why? Because someone said a kid beat Team Rocket three years ago. Also there was a time machine to bring pokemon from the 1st generation games to the 2nd generation games. Pokemon Ruby. No link to the other games other than Generation 1 where you can trade pokemon with them over FireRed and LeafGreen so it happened during that time period. Pokemon Diamond. Happens 3 years later for the same reason Ruby happened during Generation 1. It is linked with HeartGold and SoulSilver. Generation 5. Happens about 4 years later. Why? One of the Frontier Brains from Generation 4 is an older Elite Four member. It's just stuff people study and figure out.

I'm not saying it was bad. It just wasn't my favorite and didn't have much for me. I will say the Battle Frontier was very well put together though I think the one where the pokemon battle without us was just a last minute thoughtout idea.

UPDATE: Used Body Slam, Milktank has 2/3rd health. Milktank wakes up and uses Stomp. Poliwag used Body Slam, Milktank has 1/3rd health. Used Super Potion. Stomp. Body Slammed. Milktank Fainted. WINNER!

Just because ruby can link with FireRed doesn't mean it's in the same time period. And don't forget that FireRed and LeafGreen actually came out after Ruby and Sapphire, so maybe they just made it that you could connect the two because they were both gameboy advance. In fact, I wouldn't put it past them. And also, I think you meant to say one of the Elite Four used to be one of the Frontier Brains....sorta. They never explain why she never battled. But it's set way more than 4 years later, because she was just a kid in Sinnoh, but in White, she's an adult. There's a time lapse between each game, we just don't know how much except for the first two. My guess is that they wanted to tell you how much time, but after the 2nd generation it wasn't really all that important

No I meant what I said about the Frontier Brain and Elite Four. And there's something to help you out.

that's interesting speculation, but we don't know if any of that is for certain at all. I guess the only way to know for sure is if they make a book telling the timeline and when things happen.

Of course it's all theory and it wouldn't need to be a book. They do link stuff though. They told who Giovanni's son was in FireRed. A simple statement would work or something else from a future game. Anyways there's no reason for why they would make a remake anytime soon. HeartGold came out not to long ago and it would mess with the timeline.

It wouldn't mess with the timeline. Not too mention, it doesn't make any difference to the timline, since they're just remaking them in the order that they were made. After all, first we got FireRed and LeafGreen, then we got HG/SS, then we should get a remake for the 3rd generation games.

Well yeah they're going to remake them in order. It's just there's no point right now. Once there's a point to I'm sure they will. And how would remaking a game that took place 7 years before the most current one and having them linked up work?

Because it's a game, and they already found a way to link up a game that takes place 3 years after another. I'm sure they'll find some way, since it's a game, and they can come up with any excuse

Guys they're probably not remaking 3rd gen, much as I'd love to see it

That is a baseless rumor founded on faulty principles and only supported by wild theories, creative photoshop jobs, and misquoted interviews

Well regardless I'm sure they won't make it in the next two years. Now I'm gonna continue after my triumphant win against Whitney. Unless you wish to convince why I should use an Eevee evolution for my party.

besides that getting either a Jolteon or a Espeon is a great decision because of how fast both of them are along with their special attack? Believe me, you should get either a jolteon or espeon.
And now I remembered what my 6th pokemon was. An espeon

Those were the two I was thinking about except for one thing I already have a Sp. Attacker: Quilava/Typhlosion. I'd mostly go for Umbreon since it's defensive and I don't have much defense in my party so far. Problem would be that I had an Umbreon for my party in my last game.

eh, I usually get the same pokemon in my games. Like I always go for the flying pokemon at the beginning, and usually a certain water type. Still, too bad you can't get Glaceon or Leafeon in that game, because they would be worth it

Yeah they would be. Flareon is just a no purpose pokemon.

I wish I could get mad at you for that but it's so painfully true.

I thought i was like one of the only people with that problem. Whitney was a beast. Took me 2 months to beat the chick. My Quilava, Abra and my Bellsprout totally helped though. I want to know how much harder or easier she is in HG, cuz i only got SS.

When Rock Smash is one of your main moves it's a sad day.

It's the same. I didn't have a problem with her when I had a Croconaw. Quilava just makes it hard.

Really? My Quilava was a big help for me. It was that stupid cow drink that Miltank can use to restore health that mad things hard... However, since my Quilava was a boy, he was immobilized by love several times.
