    One of my favourite pizza toppings is simply cheese, basil, and tarragon. Herbs are a godsend. Simplicity is wonderful.

    I would think simplicity would just be cheese, but I guess whatever floats your boat. I like pepperoni, but just that. I don't really like it with sausage, onions (especially onions) or anything else, because it kinda ruins the flavor for me

    Well, simplicity can still imply a balance of delicate flavours to an extent. There is something about herbs that I find work well enough on their own, but that is just me.
    I try and switch up my toppings most of the time otherwise. Bacon and black olives are a favourite.


    I actually made that pizza in question at home on accident because we only had herbs, cheese, and some tomato sauce. Oregano works well alongside basil and tarragon but I only tried it crushed in the cheese and a bit in the tomato sauce, but nothing overpowering. The basil was whole-leaf and the tarragon was I believe just some cut sprigs and the like, though the pizza was not covered in them completely or anything such, there was perhaps a small to medium amount. The end result was delicious and smelled heavenly, however. The tarragon did help quite a bit at least to myself.
