My parents are letting me have a Christmas gift early.

But I have to choose between Skyward Sword, a PS3, and The Old Republic. All of which I have been waiting for since...a very long time.
Help. :c

One (if not both) of them is for the PS3.

I say get the PS3 and buy both games with your own money.

 

I would go for the PS3. Because if you have the PS3 early, you can wish for games, also, there is a lot more entertainment value in a console rather than a game. ToR would maybe be a good choice, but I'm going to have to say PS3

 

The Old Republic.

 

Considering I doubt that you have any PS3 games at the momment I would go for one of the other two. Voted for Skyward Sword

 

Go for the PlayStation 3 bro.

Wait, I may have misread that. I thought you were getting all three and had to choose one to get early. If you are only getting one then PS3 hands down.

 

Well... a ps3 is pointless if you don't have any games for it yet, so I would say pick one of the games (assuming they're for a console or pc you already have).

 

I would say The Old Republic, but it comes out five days before Christmas so that's kind of a waste, lol.

PS3 probs, that way you can buy some games. If you are low on cashmoniez though, go for Skyward Sword.

 

I voted for PS3, but only really go for that if you can:
1-Buy games for it.
2-Find games that interest you in the PS3's game library.

Otherwise you might as well go with the other two choices.
I'd be wary of Old Republic though. Several past attempts of a decent MMORPG from many developpers failed horribly, and I'd wait a bit to see if it does turn out alright.

PS3. It's the most expensive, and you could save your own monies for the games much easier.

If not that then get Skyward Sword because IT LOOKS AWSOME.

 

The PS3 is more than a console... Its a blu ray player, web browser, media player, which is why I recommended it.

 

Who tells someone what gifts he or she will get for Christmas in advance? I mean, really. Where's the fun in that?

 

I'd say Skyward Sword, but maybe that's because I'm obsessed with that and want it forever. ;~;

But of course, PS3 has the most 'value'. As someone pointed out though, it's kind of pointless unless you can afford games for it or are really into the other features. ​

That's not entirely true. I only have a few games for my family's PS3, but we rarely use it for games. Connect to wifi and you can go on a number of sites. I mainly use it as a DVD/Blu-ray player.
