My internet providers effed up

They effed up but in the most awesome way ever, my downloads have gotten a huge boost, and like. So far it's at 300kbps but it's still rising and won't stop!!

I'm getting as much as I can because it'll probably end in a hour or so, but this is so awesome!

Why? Because internet here is crappy, listen to what I have to pay

to download at 15kbps speed, I need to pay $150. Wtf?

 

Pfff, I kinda have the same crappy internet. about 15-20 kps for like 60$ a month xD
Where do you live anyway?

My Download speed is normally about 75-100kbps, and we pay about......i'm not sure, but we use wireless so it's just a monthly fee.

 

for me its like 15-40kbps
and the price is like 20 bucks... i got it on sale! and i get to keep it for a year. then its like 30 lol.
but because my area was a "dead-zone", my downloads are kinda slow but in the near future, its gonna be hekka fast.
(n i live in the Salinas Valley (Ca) to let you guys no that its really rural and not much is going on...

Bermuda here, and it's still going up, hit 2mb, this is only gonna last one day I bet.

 

I get anywhere from 11.0 MBps to 54. MBps.

But then again I have a Linksys router so if I move my laptop an inch it could drop down to 1.0 MBps with 'Limited or No Connectivity.'

So it's pretty much playing Russian Roulette with my connection.

 

Lol, I have FiOS (Fiber Optics) so it'd real fast. I'm not sure what the exact speed is, but I know that it costs like, $60 a month.

Is internet a pretty expensive thing where you are? Cause 15kb/s for $150 is utterly ******ed.

I got 300-500kb/s download regularly when downloading anime, and I don't pay any more than 20-30 a month.

 

Wow Xaldin, I ran into the same thing when I was on dial-up.

My regular download time now is 150-175KB/sec.

 

... I don't pay for my internet.

Yeah it's very expensive, though I can understand, getting internet access thorugh a 23 square miled island, is no cheap deal.
