2011 User Awards: Cycles & Polls
Because there are so many categories in the User Awards, we separate the polls into ‘Cycles’. If we did not do this, the polls would all go up at the same time, and users might find it difficult to vote in every single one. With the cycle system, we avoid this, because it is staggered--each cycle lasts 10 days. (Plus it creates suspense).

The cycles this year will go as follows:
Cycle One: General Nominations, Thread Nominations
    Cycle Two: Writing/Video Editing/Art Nominations
    Cycle Three: Best/Worst Member Nominations
Cycle Four: Miscellaneous Member Nominations, Roleplaying Nominations

You are currently voting in Cycle Four.

I must admit, I do agree with this statement of yours, sir. However, I fail to see an argument that I am to consider valid.
I find my statement to be of utmost relevance.

What? for being the embodiment of the word superfluous.

Maybe don't use the word sir, sir? It's a little bit incorrect. Massively incorrect.

Now I must indeed say and denote my frivolous adoration of the English language in its entirety - which, in such a case, has led to this aforementioned verbosity that continues to pervade my text to a rather enormous degree. Oh, what a wonderful language of sorts it is - a sort of black sheep amongst its Germanic sisters with various sorts of amusing and creative words from all over the world. Some name Dutch the French of the Germanic family but perhaps it is English that holds the greatest amount of difference in itself - one would suppose such is the result of constant invasions, back and forth, and its current status as a sort of part-international lingua franca, at least for the current moment in itself.

It's some how depressing to understand everything you utter.

But yes your mastery of the language is both gratifying to observe and absolutely terrifying in its application. A sort of natural force in your use, which is immovable and unstoppable as if a great tide contianing a dictionary laped on the shores of the ignorant. What a to do.

It is most fortunate that you would wish to acquire such knowledge of the definition of the word verbose. An individual who would most aptly described as being verbose, who be one who constantly adds additional words to a statement, or a series of statements, in order to achieve the appearance of possessing a higher level of intelligence. In most situations, the act is perceived to be one that is performed in order to achieve a higher level of respect among peers than the one that is currently held by the individual. There is also a moderate chance that when one uses an extended, more advanced version of a dialect most commonly used by other members of a cultural group, it is because one believes that performing such act, he or she will belong to a counter culture, and thus establishing an identity that cannot be relate to other members of a social group.

I can be verbose at times, but in all honesty I stand not a chance against the What himself. Under limited observation I thought perhaps it was a self-made facade and he was, perhaps, an act. Forgive me for that, What? After reconsideration I realized, you are as lively off text [mic] as you are in written. Presenting a plausible act in real-time is not an easy feat, and I applaud any who could present such; but I don't suspect it of being a facade any longer, cross that out. I voted you for user I would most like to get to know.

And the effect you have on people. Sifted through your visitor messages, it appears that quite a few in your near proximity adjust their style. Those in your presence are 10x more verbose than usual.

    Mental noting.
