Aren't you one of the forum's best hackers? How are you too dumb to work with redstone? I mean, it's all just machine code when you get right down to it.

 

It's electrical circuits, actually.

 

Which is basically what machine code is made out of. Machine code=only two possible states, on or off. That's what electrical circuits allow for and is why electrical circuits (as opposed to say, gears and cranks) are used for computers nowadays.

In Minecraft, this means that if power is being supplied to a block, then that block is a 1. If not, it is a 0. With this in mind, what do you think you can do with the right configuration of redstone wires/repeaters/torches? You. Can. CODE. Check out the discussion here:
