it's when we run from one place to another.
but the trick it to not go around something, if you can avoid it. which means if you can vault it, hurdle it, go over or through it, etc. you do that instead.
but the difference in freerunning and parkour is free runing is more to look cool to conserve energy.

at least that's the explanation my friend gives.

just youtube free running, or parkour. you have to see it to fully get what i'm talking about.

i do something like that. i walk from one part of my house to another straight through. i always run back into the wall though.

lol. my pathetic excuse of an older brother and his freind decided to go free running once but (wait for it) he tried to jump over this fence and failed miserably, falling flat on his face and breaking his nose and giving him 2 black eyes.

he came home and his face was all swelled up like a giant strawberry (i took a picture) XD

I couldnt stop laughing for a week.

 

Its fun stuff especially running through an inter city area.
For those who don't get it, its what was going on in the opening scene of Casino Royale

yes but to get somewhere really fun we have to drive for about an hour and a half to get to a decent city.

it is, you should start it, but if you aren't in shape you'll be tired way too easily and won't be able to do much.
