Maximum Ride: The Greatest Foe

The show was hilarious, Zen didn't think he has ever enjoyed a show this much, and it was longer than he thought.

When it was over Zen loked at the clock. 11:25. Zen was getting tired anyway. He walked towards his room. "I'm tired Angel, i'm going to bed now. Goodnight" he said heading towards his room.

 

Angel enjoyed the show a bit not like Zen, crackling up and such. "Alright. Im going to bed also." She said following him up the stairs and into her room. She was tired enough not to change and got in bed, fallign asleep soon later.

 

Zen had drems about other bird-kids. He woke up in the middle of the night and checked on Angel. Just a precaution. She was sleeping soundly. He went back to sleep then.

A few hours later he woke up and got ready for school. "Angel, time for school" he shouted.

 

Angel woke up and shook her head to clear it. "Alright im up!" She shouted back standing up and changed her clothing. After she brushed her teeh and fixed her hair. After she did everything she needed to do, Angel grabed her bag and draged it down stairs and stood by the door, waiting for Zen.

 

Zen grabbed his backpack and a piece of toast and started heading out the door, "we're out Angel"he said and took to the air and started flying, hoping Angel was following.

 

"Alright." She said making sure her back pack was on and headed out the door. She flew up following Zen to the school.

 

Zen flew for a bit and then he saw a small swarm coming towards him. He heard droning and knew what they were. "Flyboys!" Zen shouted. He turned and desended to the ground. "Angel, to the trees, they can't fly well in the trees!" he shouted.

 

Angel listened and did what she was told. She darted down at the trees makign sure she doesnt hurt herself though. She made it safely. "You ok?" Angel asked looking at Zen.

 

"yeah i'm fine" said Zen, checking himself. "okay, from now on, let's just walk to school" he said. walking towards the school.

 

"Ok, it would be safer." Angel said hidding her wings and following Zen.

 

Zen checked up. The Flyboys were flying away quickly. Would they be back soom? Zen didn't know. It was a bit of time on foot, but finally they got to school. When they got there a voice called out "Hey Zen" and Zen saw Elaine walking towards them.

"Hey Elaine" Zen said with a smile.

 

When Angel got to school and turned to see Elaine. "Hey." She said looking at her.

 

"Hi Angel" Elaine said smiling. The Root appeared behind Zen and looked at Angel curiously

 

Angel turned around to see a guy. "Uhhhh... Hi?" Angel said to the guy.

 

"my name's Root" said Root. Root then turned to Zen and Elaine and whispered. "This girl is one of us, right" said Root.

"Yeah" said Zen. "Her name's Angel"

"Oh, in that case," Root turned back to Angel and smiled. "Sorry about that Angel. It's nice to meet you" he said.

 

"Same to you Root." She said wondering if he was a mutant too. "We should get to class." Angel added to what she said.

 

They all went to classes. Root and Zen were in the same class. Zen noticed. They said goodbye to Elaine and Angel and went to class.

Zen told Root all about the Flyboy attacks. "So the Flyboys attaced you today" Root said. "we really hope they don't find your house"

 

Angel sighed and walked off to Biology. She sat down and waited for class to begin.

 

"quiet" said the Physics teacher before Zen could answer. She assigned everyone a challenging assignment. Zen and Root got to work.

 

Angel sat in class and listened to the teacher talk the whole class. It was annoying. She passed out a assiment and Angel got to work. Since Angel has a Bird side to her she knows alot about animals, it was easy for her.
