Maximum Ride: The Greatest Foe

"May I help you?" said Ms Weekers. "Yes, i'm new here so i'm clueless"

Ms Weekers smiled again, we'll help you here. Your desk is one of the empty ones."

"Thanks," said Zen as he went to find his desk. There were two open desks side by side near the back.

He sat down in the one that said "Zen." It was beside one that said "Angel."

 

Angel got to the class room and smiled. She walked up to the teacher. ''Hi, im new here. My names Angel.''
Angel said to the teacher. ''Awwww hello there angel my name is Ms.Weekers. Your desk is back there next to that boy.'' Ms.Weekers pointed out. Angel walked to the back and sat down.

 

Zen looked at Angel and attemped to make friendly conversation. "Hi Angel, my name's Zen" Zen said

 

Angel glared at him. ''How u know my name?'' Then she saw the name tag thing on teh desk. ''Ohhhh...'' She said then smiled. She looked at him, ''Well hi!''

 

Zen laughed, "so are you new here just like me?" he asked

 

Angel replyed by saying, ''Yea. I moved here from.... uhhh'' Angel thought then continued, ''Oklahoma!''

 

Zen, was about to say something when the bell rung and the annnouncements came on.

"students of all ages" said the voice from the intercom."as you all know students from all ages will be attending this school, so be nice to the younger ones, that is all"

Then Zen saw a shady looking guy looking at his and Angel's direction. He gave the faintest evil grin and looked away.

 

Angel saw the evil grin. ''Whats his problem?'' Angel asked. Angel looked at the shady figure then looked at Zen.

 

OOC:you read the series right?

A dark look followed by a scowl crossed Zen's face, then he remembered that Angel was beside him.

Quickly he put a smile on his face, hoping Angel didn't notice. "i have no idea" Zen said.

 

Zen just staired at him then looked at the clock. ''Class will start soon.'' She said to Zen without looking at him.

Class was boring and Zen was glad to get out of there. It was one of the daily break times so Zen headed to the lunchroom for a snack. He paid for a small snack and sat down at a table.

 

Angel headed out of the classroom.She threw her homework away in a nearby trashcan. Angel headed to the lunch room following Zen. She was hungry also. She bought some cookies. Angel sat down by Zen. While talking she ate her cookies. ''Soooo.. What u like to do?'' She asked while eating.

 

"Um," He was trying to be nice without revealing that he was not totally human."I like to play video games, hang out with friends, and such. What do you like to do." he asked Angel, taking a bite of his chips.

 

Angel thought for a moment. ''Uhhhh... Well... I like to go to the movies.'' She says in a not so sure voice. Eatign another cookie.

 

"Cool" Zen said. Then some big kid came to Zen and said "give me your money punk" Zen stared st him unafraid and said "get your own money punk."

 

Angel looked at them not sure what to do. ''Uhhhh..'' She looked around.

 

Then Zen stood up and the kid grabbed the front of Zen's shirt.

Then Zen grabbed one of his arms and easily twisted it behind his back. The kid yelled and tried to free himself, but it was no use. Then Zen pushed him against a table and the kid fell.

The kid ran off holding his arm, then Zen went back to eating his chips

 

''Where did u learn that?'' Angel asked surprised. She ate a cookie waiting for a reply.

 

Zen's eyes widened a little. He had just demonstrated a little of his superhuman strength. He'd have to learn to not let his anger get the best of him in order to fit in here.

" I took some martial arts" said Zen crumpling up the chip bag and throwing it in the trash can.

 

''Ohhhh.... i see..'' Angel says finsihing up her Cookies also. She throws the bag away.
