Maximum Ride: The Greatest Foe

Ms Weekers soon finished the roll and the class got to work. The work consisted of nothing but tedious math problems. The class was soon over, and Max was glad of that. When the well rang she rushed out of class. Max said bye to Gazzy and Angel and walked to her next class. Gazzy looked at his schedule and saw that he had PE class with Angel.

"so, lead on" said Gazzy to Angel. "We both have PE class"

 

Walking out of the class when the bell rang out though the hollow halls. She said bye to Max and turned to Gazzy. "Okay." She led him down the hall and took a left. They found themselves in a hall with all the Fine Arts in. She walked into PE and went to the girls locker room. Meanwhile, Fang touched the back of Iggys hand and led the way to the next class he scoped out earlier. He entered and sat down. Iggy followed behind him, It was Science. Nudge had walked down the Fine Arts hall and walked into Art. She was alone with no flock members but she blended in well and took a seat.

 

The Gym teacher walked into the gym and had everyone sit down. Elaine walked in and looked around, She then frowned when she saw Angel and she and the gym coach walked to her. "Where's Zen" She and the Gym coach(Mr Wenten) asked her.

 

Angel looked up at them. "I don't know.." She said half lying half telling the truth.

 

"Do you at least know if he's okay" Elaine whispered, while at the same time, mentally pleading for Angel to tell her in her ming if she knew something, as not to attract the attention of any whitecoats in disguise that might be there

 

Not thinking anything in her mind she lied, "He has the cold. So he is staying with his aunt somewhere until he gets better. I dont know where taht is though."

 

Elaine still looked worried but then she looked at a group of kids who had suddenly huddled together and when she looked at them, they stopped talkoing and walked away. A chill went down Elaine's spine at the thought of what could happen.

The coach then blew his whistle and basketball started

 

Angel stretched down and stretched out her muscles. She yawned and gathered around with the other girls.

 

During basketball the group of kids kept looking at Elaine and half an hour later, Elaine was glad when the coach blew his whistle and it was time to go to lunch. Elaine walked to the lunch table and and sat down. Root came and sat next to her. "where's Zen" he asked, looking around. "I don't know" Elaine said, "even Angel doesn't know."

 

Angel walked into the girls locker room after basketball. She changed and took a shower. After she walked out and went to lunch. Meanwhile, Nudge's, Fang's, and Iggy's class was over. They walked out and met up with Angel. "Hey, Angel." Nudge greeted her. The flock sat down at a empty table and waited for Max and the Gasman to join them.

 

After class was over Max pratically ran out of class. That class was sooo boring in her opinion. "hey" said a voice and Gazzy ran towards her. They both saw Angel and walked towards her table. "So, how were your classes" asked Max sarcastically

 

"Okay." Iggy said greeting Max and Gasman. Angel nodded and Fang shrugged. Nudge though went on and on and on about how she got her painting hung on the wall in Art.

 

" He's strong, he will be okay," Root assured Elaine. "Look, after school, we'll look for him." "Okay dude" Elaine said, not all together assured. Root had a question for Elaine. "You don't have wings, so how can you fly?" "I was created about half a year after Angel and her friends were so i'm a slightly newer model." she explained.

Angel and Nudge had started eating. They were quiet for a while then Angel said, "Will we go look for Zen? Im worried about him." Fang just looked at her and shrugged.

 

OOC: yes he did die, but for the sake of non spoiler purposes, i'll save how he dies for you to find out on your own.

BIC:

Gazzy shakes his head in response to Angel's question. "No, like we said before, we're better off without worrying if we're going to wake up alive. Even more so than usual." Max also shook her head "Gazzy's right, even if by chance he is still alive, we don't trust him."

Meanwhile, Root at Elaine's table was thinking something. "I really don't believe that's true. But i'm tactical about these things. After school we look for him, and if we can't find Zen, then we ask Angel for some straight up answers" Elaine was about to answer but some guy walked by and pushed Root off his chair. The guy turned around and smiled, showing a mouthful of sharp canines. Brfore Root could say anything, in a metallic voice the guy said in a low voice so only Elaine and Root could hear, "You'll get what's coming to you freaks." And he walked away, leaving behind a scared Elaine and an on guard Root.

 

Iggy and Nudge just nodded in agreement and sat there. Angel turned red on the cheeks. She was sorta mad but understood what they meant. She stood up quickly and ran off but was stopped by a person. She looked up and saw it was a person with canines. "Oh so-" That's all Angel could say before Angel saw the canines.

 

Max hoped that there would not be a fight right then and there, in public, or else it would blow their whole "fitting in" plan to heck. She looked at the guy and grabbed the others and walked away with them.

Root and Elaine were watching the guy carefully. "He's definetely a Flyboy" said Root. Just then, the bell rang, signaling the next class.

 

Angel was dragged away by Max with Nudge, Fang and Iggy. She was glad she grabbed her but also still mad at her. Fang had grabbed Nudge and Gazzy.

 

Root and Elaine decided to meet after shcool and went to their next class, still worried.

Gazzy and Max also went to their next classes, Max wento to human Geography, and Gazzy went to Math. They all sat in class, it was their last class of the day.

 

Fang and Angel wondered off to World Culture. they sat at there seats and waited. Meanwhile, Nudge and Iggy made it to their classes. Iggy had Math and Nudge had Social Studies.
