    It seems that 16 year old actor Mateus Ward has auditioned for the role. Guess they really weren't kidding around when they said they were looking for someone young. But assuming MCU Spidey's first appearance will indeed be in Captain America: Civil War, then they better hurry considering that movie will be filming soon.

    If we think that there will be movies at least until 2020, and maybe more the younger the better, they probably want to replace/kill some of the old avengers as well.

    I've never seen anything Asa was in, but I hear he's a brilliant actor, so I have faith he'll do a good job. And at 18 years old, he's the perfect age to play a high-school aged Peter Parker.

    Michael Keaton (Batman, Spotlight) is confirmed to be playing Birdman The Vulture! x

    Zendaya Coleman, Tony Revolori, and Laura Harrier will also be in the movie in as-of-yet unspecified roles, though Zendaya's role is confirmed not to be a love interest.

    Well this is interesting. Remember how people wanted Donald Glover to be Miles Morales? Well, looks like Glover will be in the movie after all (in an undisclosed role, but I'll personally be surprised if he doesn't end up playing the role of Miles Morales).
