Man Offended by the Word "Hell" in Hello

It's like saying, "I don't want to say assume anymore because it has the word ass."

What makes the media consider this kind of thing actual news? It's not like it's contains anything useful. It's just one person's own, personal opinion which has no baring on how I will greet people.

 

Even if this one person gets the hell changed to heaven, then all of the satanic followers in the world might get angry, so this is just a case of a double-edged sword, where one edge is overreacting.

 

Good point but the satanic people won't get angry.They've got enough stuff to keep them satisfied.

 

They have stuff, but if all these people allow this one man to change something so trivial because he is offended, then they will get offended in return, because if I'm correct, Hell is the place where their god lives.

This entire ordeal reminds me of that thing that happened a while ago, where American soldiers gave a bunch of soccer balls to Iraqi civilians as a sign of peace, but the civilians got all mad because one of the soccer balls had the word "Allah" on it, and they didn't particularly like the idea of kicking the name of their god through a muddy field.

 

What if one is a buddhist? Nirvanao?

Wow, some people in the world are just...ridiculous. He just realized that hello had "hell" in it? It's really not a big deal.

Next thing you know someone's going to refer to him as their "assistant" or "associate" and he'll think they're calling him an ass. XD

 

Lets e-mail him and say "He))o" as an opening greeting. So as not to offend him. I think he is just overreacting. Its been like that for a long time. Heaveno there would not suit me.​
