I ignore it completely, if you come to me a mage, you're staying a mage etc. Makes things easier, I'm sure i probably miss out on some super special tactic within the game by doing this, but I rather would than deal with all that crap.

 

I heard that you can simply miss out on certain characters if you're full in their class when they show up.

 

What, that sounds just plain silly, that can't be correct.

I'm sure I did a 100% character survival and obtainal run and I never change classes, unless there's some stupid characters like Stefan from PoR who wants you to stand on a specific tile with one of two specific characters in a specific map.

That was just silly.

 

I'm pretty sure that's it.

I know for sure that you can reach a cap for a certain class at least. What happens if you get a new unit of that class? Is one of the old guys bumped out?

 

Never came up, that's a really silly rule if that's the case.

However, in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Gaiden chapters are chapters that can only be accessed by having fifteen units or less (in the whole army). These chapters contain recruitable units that are quite useful (like Athena or Horace). However, there are many characters that will eventually become worthless in the end, so if the player feels that they want to go to these chapters, they can sacrifice these units.

 

ITT: We watch as Vivi and Makaze turn into the male versions of Cat and Ienzo.​

 

But neither group can compare when Forsaken and I gush over One Piece.

What do you think of the series from what you've already read?

 

It's a really quick read at least so barely started could become up to date pretty quick if you want it to be. It took me 3 days to get from chapter 1 to chapter 530~ while school was in session. But that also means that the week to week pacing is way to slow for me to enjoy it that way. When it hits 1000 I'll probably reread the whole thing.

 

And then Vivi walks in and doesn't read the manga~~~


I watch the show, which I think with One Piece is perfectly fine, given how it sticks tot he manga so well and doesn't have half its episodes consist of filler.

Looking at you Naruto and Bleach.

 

The tradeoff for this closer to one to one relationship is fewer things are allowed to happen per episode leading to a molasses slow pace on some episodes.

 

I prefer the manga over the anime in series this long because of the filler ugh. Plus I like to participate in One Piece discussions sometimes so being out of date with the manga can lead to spoilers. Although I've heard that One Piece has had some decent filler episodes. At least it didn't do the same thing Naruto did. OVER 80 EPISODES OF FUCKING FILLER!

 

I think we can all just agree Naruto is terrible in general.

 

Ehhhh, I still like to read it. I want to see how it ends. To each their own.

 

I thought it started out pretty average actually. It was never anything special in my opinion, but it was run of the mill enjoyable for me early on in the series. I even will say that the art was almost interesting in the manga. The writing was never good enough to pull off a long series so the flaws started creeping into view after the first few arcs ended and all this junk had begun to pile up. Then the art style got cleaner and more homogenized and the writing not only began to expose its flaws, rather than trying to fix them the author kept right on making it worse by not just doing the same thing, by doing it more intensely than ever. It's a pretty common syndrome in syndicated comics that will be canceled if they can't deliver week to week results. It's partly that the writer was a failure and partly the fact that it's shonen jump.
