That;s just typical of the CAtholic church. Whatever happened to Church / State.

The major problem is that marriage is done by the church, but it is documented by the state. In other words marriage=love with benifits from the state, yah know benifits like tax breaks, and junk.

This is why we need to go back to seperation of church and state. The overly religious government officials are putting their own opinion rather than the people they represent.
