Lucas Till, you will never be sexy enough to portray Havoc to me.

Considering that out of every enemy that X-Men has faced, Cyclops is the one that killed Professor X? Yep, definitely the worst.

Remember that time Jean Gray died and he immediately started banging Psylocke?

edit: For context for those who don't know, Jean Gray has this habit of coming back from the dead as an all-powerful angry bitch. Yeah...

I'm sorry, but that last panel.
    "You're Jewish?"
Sometimes, I do wonder about certain heroes...

    No. No. No.

She told a story about overcoming prejudice, and all he got from it was "You're Jewish?"

Obviously he didn't know she was Jewish.

But he could've brought that up at a better time...
Like, right when she'd first mentioned it.

I know the writers probably wanted to keep her whole story serious before breaking out the obligatory "I missed the point of your tragic tale" question. It just irks me though, idk why...

*shrug* Who knows. Sometime you have to wonder about some heroes. Because Superheroes can be dicks. Like Superman. You wouldn't believe how many comic book covers have Superman seem to be portrayed as a dick, at best, or a sociopath, at worst.

Oh, I actually believe it. after Antman, I believe anything

Power corrupts, and to be revered as a god among mortals leaves a lot of room for corruption. Also, writers just love to experiment with writing for dicks and sociopaths (take it from someone who's guilty of it herself).

The parallels between X-Men and real-life struggles for equality are too obvious.

Also I loved that part in that one movie when Lucas Till's head got blown off.

    We all remember that incident...

Very true. And then you got all the Superheroes who are terrible people because of bad writing. Like that time Ms. Marvel got raped and The Avengers just let her rapist (who is also her son) take her to another universe because "she was tots in luv wit him lulz".

Iceman's "You're Jewish" comment was completely in character for him, especially considering that even though this is Shadowcat in her current publication and age, this is Iceman shortly after joining the X-Men, as the First Class (hence why Cyclops has the old visor, Jean Grey is still alive, Beast isn't furry, Warren is talked about like he's still Warren and not all amnesiac-angel, and Iceman is snowy and not icicle-y) so not only does he not know Shadowcat as intimately as current-Iceman does now, he's even more immature than his current class clown personality. Not saying he didn't completely miss the story, but it was...typical Iceman humor.

    This.

Also, every time I read Iceman I keep hearing the line "You can be my wingman anytime" play in my head.
