ooc It's no problem. I haven't been paying attention to everything but where's what I know: The ball is the next day in the rp, Xaldin is fighting with Devon(anf's person) in the cafe, and something is happening between Marly, Larx, and Axel but I totally fell behind in that part of this rp. I haven't used Demyx since you stopped rping in here btw

  12. Larxene kept her gaze to the floor, feeling Axel's eyes pierce through her like the very fire he wields as he halted just very, very few feet away from her, his presence making her breath go uneven. His fresh aroma filled her again, knowing he was just there in her reach. The need, the hunger, to wrap her arms around him completely and lose herself. Because she knew she'll be on another world once she's truly within him. Her stomach churning, she raised her unique aquatic blue eyes to lock with his bright, deep, garden shaded ones, knowing they had their own special color, a mixture of grass green with a dash of jade specks in its irises. Something gnawed at her chest once she saw them intently, sad, somehow lost, yet afraid, and of course, with the care and love he had shown her reflected in the orbs. Larxene found that she could not say anything for awhile, feeling like he didn't really deserve her frustration, and even when he walked more closer in front of her, nearly driving her insane, his words made her raise her eyebrows in surprise. And just like the breeze, he went out the door like she had unfortunately wished it so, leaving her behind.

    And she suddenly felt empty.

"Axel..." she barely mouthed without a sound as her ardent, yet dismal eyes watched his back walk out, deeply regretting her decision right away, leaning the side of her toweled body in the long edge of the door. She also laid her forehead on the wooden surface, somehow wishing for him to come back wistfully, but knowing she had no idea where he portalled off to. His room, maybe. Only the memory of that kiss, which she still felt on her lips like a heated burn begging for more, was the only good that came out of this visit. Yet, she did need some time for herself, figure things out, though she wasn't very hard core about it as before, and her thoughts were dangling on the negative. Axel had said to have faith in him...how many times had she given that to people, and it was never returned? How was she going to get over what was basically her life? She wanted to move from her scars, she really did, however, it was so difficult, because the same thing can happen again. Given Axel's background, it made her even more apprehensive. God, she wanted him so bad...so bad that it ached when he wasn't here with her, and at the same time, she was anxious to grab it. Everything he said was truthful, that he won't hurt her, to trust him...for how long was he willing to keep that? Love isn't forever, minus some gifted ones who had that pleasure to grow old with their partners...but there was also many, the higher percentage, that did not work out. The other guy was just as charming, just as honest, just the same with words, just as he loved her...it ended, and so badly too. How was she to know permanently that Axel was different? It was up to her to take the chance presented to her, and she didn't want to miss out on what would be a great thing. Axel...

How the hell did she ever fall so hard for that charismatic and sexy b@stard?

    Larxene chuckled inwardly.

Nevertheless, she sensed a shadow loom over her with another scent, this time with the fresh smell of leaves after a rain shower in the forest, with a slight dab of something nice that reminded her of a flower. She was starting to think she was slowly becoming Zexion with his habit of smelling people. Then again, these male scents of Axel and Marluxia were strong, and if they stood next to her, she really couldn't help her nose taking it all in. Despite that, the pink was the one who she was terribly upset with, and lifting her head sharply, she deeply frowned at him, crossing her arms. Larxene really wanted to say a few harsh things, but for now, she held herself. Coldly, close to a snarl, she asked pointedly, "Is this what you wanted?"

"No," Marluxia replied shortly, his eyes quite ashamed, while his expression remained blank. He really didn't expect this whole thing to blow out of proportion as it did, when he just thought that Larxene will take it as it is, yet it seemed all this meant to her more deeper than he could ever fathom. She was obviously torn about Axel and whatever was keeping her away from him. And it was then he realized it. They had yet to be together. Why? They were in love, supposedly, but they have been holding back. Was it because she didn't trust Axel, or what would happen with him later on? That made sense, considering her reaction to what he said before about Axel's darker personality. Maybe...maybe he had hoped too much, and what Larxene was feeling for that redhead was beyond his understanding. The thing was, he already apologized, and now he was speechless at what to do. He couldn't say sorry again, as that won't do it. He couldn't say he didn't mean it, because he did. He also couldn't hug her or do any type of action of that matter, knowing what move she would take. In the end, he was at a loss. Larxene was blatantly pissed off at him.

Larxene wasn't having any guilt though, because it was time she finally gave it to him straight up to avoid mishaps like this. While he remained static, she stated plainly as her chin raised strongly, "I don't love you, Marluxia. Simple. I. Don't. Love. You. I might've liked you, been attracted. But that's in the past." She didn't break her merciless rant, even with something wavering behind Marluxia's eyes. "No matter what good intentions you had, I, as well as you, and even Axel, know that you acted on those words to put doubts in my mind about any relationship Axel and I could have had. You did it to sabotage, and we are aware that's what the other motivation was. Grow some balls. At least Axel didn't sink that low as much of a pig you put him as. This does not concern you any more, and it's about time you moved on, don't get stuck on me. There's a million girls out there, Marluxia. Find the one who you belong with. I understand you didn't want to give up...is just not going to happen. You have my trust and friendship, and if you can live with that, then maybe we don't have to part in bad terms..."

It was there she took a deep breath, her gaze softening, trying to maintain her composure as she saw Marluxia fall right in front of her figuratively. "And I don't want to end it that way. You've shown how much you care and are concerned for me, and I thank you for that. So much. But I love him, Marluxia. Just seeing him, makes me want to give my body up. I don't know how, or why, yet I love Axel like if my emotions have returned without the need of a heart. So strong and about to burst, that it scares me. He makes me feel. He makes me alive. He's the proof of my existence...and I don't want anyone else." She stopped, thinking that she said enough, and she was beginning to get too sappy once more. Patiently, she waited for what Marluxia had to say, wondering if she took it too tough. Larxene knew, that what she just admitted to him, should be what she needed to say to Axel. Honestly, she somehow wished he heard.

Marluxia stayed placid, wounded like if he had been shot by multiple kunai that slashed any remnants of a heart that was in his chest that was long forgotten and lost. And it hurt. Truly, real pain of the likes that he had never experienced before, and for a moment, he wanted to take out the melancholy and broken self outloud to make himself feel better, lose his cool. It was pure fact that he really lost her. And that she would really never be his, no matter how hard he tried. He didn't shake, he didn't move, he was quite numb, and while Larxene can probably spot the glass in his eyes shattering, then perhaps she could figure how much she meant to him. His only saving grace was that deep, deep down, he knew it. He was perfectly in note of this, yet he pursued her anyway. Now that she admitted everything the way it was, right in his face without a ounce of stopping, he wanted to hate her for it...yet it was obvious he couldn't. And he didn't want to. You win, Axel. Hmm. He always had won, though. As he aforementioned long ago, he was fighting a losing battle. Lucky for that idiot to have such a beautiful woman.

It was silent as they both gazed at the other as minutes passed, not awkwardly, yet not peaceful either. If friends was as far as he was going to get to her, than he wasn't going to let it go away. It might anger him, ache to see her with someone else, but it was over. Maybe he could move on. Letting a quiet sigh escape him, knowing he needed some time for himself as well, he merely broke the weight in their shoulders by saying emotionless, "I understand." There was nothing else to say, as those two words were the exact respond to all. Without another tone of voice spoken out, he gave her a last glance, seeing her wall fade away as she realized that she may have been too harsh. Marluxia didn't blame her though, so instead, he just stepped out the door, not looking back as he went into the hall. Not giving anything else, black covered him as he disappeared to the confines of his room.

Larxene eyed the spot where the Graceful Assasin disappeared, finding that she suceeded, yet with the shadow that she did to Marluxia what she's been frightened of all along. Her eyes quavering a little, she muttered softly to the emptiness.

    "I'm sorry..."

OOC: I'd figured I'd star bolding some quotes too, since this looks hard to find a little xP. Quite long? Yesh. But that was Marluxia's epiphany :(.

OOC: Gomennasai!!! :crybaby: I'll be posting regularly from now on, my dearies. D8 I officially finished everything I was supposed to have done . . . including baking a cake! ;) And it's a good thing that people have come to Devon's rescue. I honestly feared for her life. So, to make it up, I'll send Axel to her rescue too, and then just to annoy you people, make this a UBER LONG POST. ^_^-

“Huh? What? Seeing . . . ” Ren blinked for a moment, wondering what Lynn was talking about. What was she seeing? A brief, long pause followed after her short stutter, and Ren finally realized what Lynn was talking about. “Oh . . . oh! Oh, I ge— Psshh!” She laughed at her own stupidity. “I–I mean, I can picture the type of dress you might be able to wear to the ball, matching this beautiful mask.”
She stared at the mask once more, it truly was an elegant mask. Well, it was not going to be easy finding the dress she had in mind, but she can always try. Giving Lynn a warm smile, she spoke, “Well then, shall we go looking for a dress to match this mask's beauty?

Xaldin's lip twitched, his hands clenching onto his lances tightly as his eyes followed the girl. She'd ticked him off beyond anything else . . . heck, even Axel and Demyx seem like an angels next to this ingrate of a girl. He gritted his teeth in anger, ready to lash at this girl mercilessly . . . but, why not have a little fun. It was in his nature after all, to play with his prey before taking the deadly leap. So his expression changed, more or less, from the anger filled haltered to a devious smile . . . though with his, narrow, deep purple eyes gazing at her with death written all over them did not emphasize the smile one bit.
He watched her keenly as she began to get up off the fluffy white snow, with a grin of her own. Her smile only made his anger double in proportion, and he twirled his lance from one hand to another, taking position to strike. His eyes had definitely caught her twiddling fingers near her pocket . . . so she had a weapon. Xaldin had already taken a few guesses to what that weapon was, and he prepared himself for anything that might come out of there . . . besides, mortal weapons cannot do him much harm. As soon as she took another step towards him, with that idiotic grin on her face, he shot his lance, straight for her chest, right where her hea—
He missed. What the hell? His concentration was totally broken as a familiar squeaky voice came into the scenario. His purple eyes glanced over to the side to find . . . the Mullet Boy. As always he was butting into people's business . . . followed by some skinny girl, this one was mortal like the other one. Interruptions, interruptions, interruptions. No way, this was not happening. . .

Axel wanted to get away from it all, for the moment being. Though what he truly wanted to be near Larxene, he had to respect her wish . . . also because there was a chance she might've smacked him too, if he didn't leave. Her piercing gaze was enough to give him that message. So he portaled himself out of that place. His room was not on his list to return. What he wanted to do right now was, whether return to the lake, where he was last night, but this time, to go burn random things, or go snow-boarding at the snowy mountains. Axel portaled himself completely out of the building, though just at the back of it where not many people were likely to be present, and sure enough there were none. He took a step wondering if he should head for the woods again, go quench his thirst to burn a few things, or go clip a long board to his feet. Honestly, clipping a board to his feet sounded good, and he began walking, still reflecting everything that had just taken place not even a minute ago at the back of his buzzing mind. Was all that even real? It went so fast.
His feet dug deep into the snow as he headed to the front of the building. The last storm from last night had definitely given these mountains the proper white gift, remarkable. It was an awesome day to go snow-boarding, he thought. Smiling to himself, he continued to go through the snow. A few more steps, he heard voices . . . it was Demyx, talking to . . . Xaldin? That was unlikely. Usually, Xaldin throws a lance at the kid every time he goes near him, what was going on now? Though following Demyx's voice was a female one, telling someone to chill out? This sparked Axel's interests. There was something going on. Quickly pacing through the deep snow itself, Axel quickly made it to where the two nobodies were located, along with the mortal . . . actually, make that two. Axel immediately recognized the other mortal present among them, Devon.
“Devon!?” He exclaimed. What was going on? There was Cyrus, the waitress he'd met yesterday evening, Demyx, and Xladin all looking rather surprised, though Xaldin looked more annoyed and overwhelmed than surprised. He eyes every single one of them carefully, and each had a face of thieves, as if Axel had caught them red handed during a heist. “What . . . is going on?”

INTERRUPTIONS! Damn the dusks to thier oblivion! Axel had showed up too. What was this? What the hell was going on? Why and how did this suddenly become a pubic display? The only thing Xaldin could do now was growl.

Devon, scared; Demyx, lost as alwyas; Cyrus, worried; Xaldin, mad as hell, like always; Lances, two by where Devon was. . . well, it was not hard to understand what was happening. Xaldin, for some reason was super ticked off and because of that, Devon was under attack. “Xald—”

“Shut up, Axel!!!” He readied his lances once more, this time aiming them at Axel instead, while still keeping half his focus on the girl. He will have her heart.

Well, Xaldin was pissed off, epically. There really was not stopping him once he was like that. This was not going to be easy.

ooc xD Lost as always part is...true

Demyx looked to Axel. "Great timing." He said to him before looking bback to Xaldin. Why he got mad so easily was beyond him but this was going too far. "Don't tell Axel to shut up."

"Demyx... Don't make him worse..." Crys mumbled, hoping that by speaking under her breath she herself wouldn't make the situation worse. Whoever this large, agressive man was she didn't want to suffer the rath of his fury herself. Mainly because she knew all too well the Lancer would of finished her off as as easily as swatting a fly with a newspaper.

  17. OOC: Weirdly enough, I just went back in time when I was a teeny bopper to a song Britney Spears sang, Sometimes, as pop music as it is, and it really matches Larxene in the situation with Axel now. Seriously. Check the lyrics o.O, except the whole trusting line.

I think I'm going to take Roxas as well, if that's alright. Is just weird seeing Axel without him for so long xD.

Larxene laid face down on her bed, exhausted emotionally, and just her body needing a time to be in something comfy, clear her mind, breathe, and relax. Despite that, many thoughts were running around and through her head, and she knew that she had to ponder Axel and her whole problem in due time. He said he'd wait forever, but she didn't want him to. She really didn't. He didn't deserve it, especially as she was the one who was taking this long to say her feelings. She loved him...she said that to Marluxia enough, yet she couldn't say it to him. To Axel. She sighed, knowing the true reason of where her fear came from, and now she needed to see how to overcome it, because...she didn't want to be afraid anymore. She wanted to be with him so badly, and this was hindering it so much. And...then...came Marluxia, and she truthfully felt bad for what she did to him, so cold. She should know better, considering she's been through unrequited love before...it was a great pain, and all you can do is watch helplessly as your loved one is happy with someone else that's not you.

Maybe she will speak to him later.

Larxene was positive though, that Marluxia's love wasn't as strong as Axel's. Something told her that. And she knew he was going to be alright.

Stretching out her legs and arms, she turned herself around to lay on her back, staying there for a few seconds, before sitting up. With those actions, however, her towel had loosened, and it slid off her body unto the mattress, revealing her. Larxene just half lid her eyes, not really caring since no one was here, and she was about to get changed anyway. Standing on her two feet, she slowly went over to her opened suitcase that was propped on a chair, in a corner away from anyone's eyes. Her legs still kind of ached, but it wasn't going to stop her as she took out the usual; pants, tank top, trench coat, gloves....the ones she wore when she fell down the hill were in a spot on the floor, and she had to remind herself to put it in a bag to wash it. Heading back to the bed, she laid the new taken out clothes there, and while she had on her underwear, her bra was yet to be brought out of its hiding place, and she got it as she dug her hands around Axel's pajamas. As she began putting it on, her mind drifted on why Axel didn't say anything about them, or had taken them back. She had forgotten to question him due to the circumstances...I mean, she really wouldn't mind keeping the pajamas, but she wasn't sure if he precisely left it to her. As she finished placing on her shirt as well after fixing her bra to fit comfortably, she went to grab her black skinny pants, which were obviously tighter and fit like a second skin unlike the rest of the males, which have them loose. Not that they were uncomfortable, the material was very smooth, and in fact, it worked with her fighting as it gave her more freedom.

As she got dressed and slipped into them, she sat down at the edge of her bed to put on her high heeled boots after her socks. For a moment, she wondered just how the Organization kept giving perfect sized clothes and shoes, as she never really remembered getting measured for it. Shaking her head, she then put on her gloves first, before getting into her trench coat, zipping it close. Thinking that she should take a break from everything for awhile, she decided to go down to the lobby, which she had to because of the plates and all. Going over to do her hair to be done, she stopped once she remembered that she couldn't today because of the bandages, it was just let loose without brushing it back, and so she redirected herself to where she left the items. Picking the plates and basins, she coughed a little, checking that the light was turned off, but the radio was still blasting out a song. Concentrating steadily, she tried to summon her abilities, and she could hear static as she made the radio shut off by pushing the button by the force of electrical current. Smirking at that accomplishment, knowing that her power was coming back, she portalled away, blackness surrounding her form as she left the confines of her quarters.

lol i feel really loved TY XD

Devon heard another voice, a familiari voice. She turned around to see Axel running over. She felt relieved, at least she knew he would help. She smiled at him.

  20. OOC: I was hesitating on asking for Roxas, since it is four. But I figured since none are being used...but if anyone wants him, they're free.

So, thanks :P. Now I just need to think on how to bring Roxas in.

Larxene materialized carefully hidden in the shadow of a hall, conveniently next to a trash can. Seeing as no one spotted her, she took out the basins in her hands and threw those in the garbage, while she kept the plates belonging to the buffet still. Stepping out, she fixed her trench coat with one free hand, before beginning to walk down the path to the lobby, reaching the familiar vast and huge space as she eyed her surroundings. Larxene spotted what seemed to be a buffet in front of a opened restaurant, people moving around, picking the delicious food that she had tasted, and she headed there naturally, wanting to get rid of her baggage as soon as possible. It didn't take long, and noting that people who were done eating place the plates in a sink that connected to the inside of the restaurant, to perhaps the kitchen for cleaning, she went there, doing the same as the rest and following their actions. She waited to see what would happen, and her eyes grew a little when he saw a man's hands appear and take them the newly put dishes, the only thing keeping her from seeing him was the brick wall. Odd way of doing things. Letting out a breath, she turned back, not knowing where to go or what to exactly do. Her blue eyes searched around the whole area constantly, trying to find anything...

Honestly, she was kind of hoping Axel might've been around, yet she knew that if he was, he could easily be seen with that mass of fire red hair of his. No one in the building had that color, and it made him stick out like a sore thumb. And just like that, a sudden thirst for him tugged at her chest, a bit faded, far away, almost as if it wasn't there, yet it was strong. Placing her hand on top of it, she halted, closing her eyes to this tingling sensation, and for a moment, she found slim, but strong arms wrap around her waist tightly, bringing her close to his warm and comfortable body in a embrace as she laid her head in his broad chest. His recognizable smell wafted through her nose in earnest, getting lost, feeling his hot breath hovering over jaw as it sent a shiver down her spine, before she found burning, soft lips...those belonging to him, kiss on the smooth skin of her neck, and she sighed blissfully. Axel...

Yet as much as it began, it was over, and she snapped back to reality, blinking open her eyes rapidly as everything returned to normal, and the warmth was gone. Watching as some people gave her weird glances, while some seemed concerned, as she had her hand on her chest in a grip, she stood there, feeling on the spot. They probably thought she was having some kind of attack or something. A bit embarassed that she stopped to daydream in the middle of a crowd, she simply gave a piercing look to them all, before quickly scurrying away to get out of sight. Well. That was stupid. Quite out of breath, she passed by her favorite spot on the fireplace, the flames flickering brightly in its orange, yellow glow, and it appeared everything was going to remind her of that cursed redhead. Deciding to sit in one of the couches there to think and be in serenity, she found herself moving into the carpeted section, only to see a figure cloaked in black reading a book. Larxene wasn't surprised. She saw Zexion give her a fleeting glance, before going back to his choice of literature. Ignoring him, she sat on the next sofa beside him that was the closest to the fire, not saying anything as she cuddled herself.

Zexion blocked out a yawn, already sensing Larxene coming since long ago, and he was aware of the actions that took place. Not visually, but he could imagine that things didn't go smoothly once more. He could tell something had occurred, as Marluxia had left in a bad mood, he could pick it up with his "smell", taking in immense sadness. And Axel had gone as well. Quietly, not taking his focus off the words on the pages, he asked her in patient understanding, "Care to share anything?"

And he listened intently as she began to spill her guts.
