While she was getting more snow he threw another snowball at her

 

The snowball hit Crys squarly on her head, the white flakes melting into her violet hair. As the shook the snow off her head she hurled another ball of snow at him.

 

He laughed then the snowball hit him in the side of the head. "Cheater."

 

"How was that cheating!?" She exclaimed through fits of giggles, hurling another snowball at him.

 

He ducked "Because I was laughing."

 

"And I'm not?" She giggled.

 

"No. You're giggling. Big difference." He said while throwing another snowball at her

 

"Is not!" She laughed, ducking out of the way.

 

"Yes it is."

 

"Is not!" She giggled.

 

"Yes!"

Ren jumped in surprised when she heard Lynn's voice. She had been spacing out as she'd come down the stairs, only thinking about lunch and nothing more. Ren returned the smile to the young female as she made her way over to her. . . adorable girl she was, Lynn. Lynn truly amazed her actually. She was only 16 and already such a responsible girl. Young women like do not come by everyday as she remembered exactly how she was when she was Lynn's age. While admiring Lynn for her account of responsibility, Ren felt a little sorry for the girl as well. Lynn after all was made the owner and caretaker of this Resort at such an young age after the death of her parents. The age she is in now, she should be out enjoying the beautiful snow and not spending yet another day with an adult discussing about statistics and performances. “Oh, what a coincidence!” She smiled. “I was coming to look for you actually.”
No sooner had Ren finished that sentence, she stomach growled, literally screaming for some food, and in response, Ren's face turned a slight pink with embarrassment. ”Oh. . . ex-excuse me please. I'm. . . I'm sorry about that.” She stuttered as she mumbled her apology. ” Well, I suppose that I should have some lunch first. Please join me, we can discuss everything over lunch.”

"Heh don't worry. It is okay and I haven't ate either. Sounds nice."

 

Ren gave a sigh of relief, as she hadn't made a bad impression in front of her new boss. Thank God. Giving Lynn yet another sweet smile, she led her into the café, picking out a good table near the window. The snow was once again falling outside, but it was falling very lightly, making it seem like someone had thrown tiny pieces of white confetti from the roof. The sky was bright, yet covered with a light layer of gray clouds, the rays of the sun shining through some of the gaps in-between. Setting down her folders to the side, she gestured Lynn to take her seat as she made herself comfortable in her own chair. “What would you like to order, Lynn. I-I'm sorry, is it okey if I call you Lynn?â€

 

She smiled as she sat down. "Go ahead. And you don't have to be so formal. Just be yourself, if that's okay with you."

“Ok, great then.” A big smile coming to her face. She liked her already. First she was truly impressed with the girl for her accomplishments and of her responsibility. She had a great personality as well. Maybe, they can have more than just a student/boss/employee relationship, she thought, maybe in time they can become friends, and go out and have some time away from this talks and papers and have a little fun. As she pondered in her thoughts, the waiter made his appearance and asked for their order.
“I'll have the Chicken Piccata, and some Iced Tea please.” She ordered looking at the menu. “Lynn? What would you like?”

Taking both their orders, the waiter took his leave. A brief awkward silence fell between the two girls as Ren sat there staring at Lynn, wondering what to say to her. Should she talk business or talk about casual stuff? Why did lunch meetings suddenly become so complicated for her? It was not like she's never had meeting like this before, but it seemed that there was a whole new atmosphere around here. Was it because Lynn was such a young girl, that it make Ren feel a bit awkward to talk with her?
“Er. . .” She began. What should she say? Just slip into business dammit! “So I was thinking that we move reschedule the Ball, and move it up. The date seems too far away. I uhh. . . wanted you opinion.”

"What about to tomorrow or so?" She said after thinking gabout it for a moment.
