I registered at about 2 years ago, and was active for like 10-12 months. This was the coolest site I had ever been to! Seriously. But then more and more newbies came, or even members who have been here for a long time, but they f*ck up the site. So I left.
Toshi was telling me how things were going on here once in a while, when we were going out with some other friends too.
And now I come here, because Toshi told me he got banned, and I wanted to check if it was true. And since I logged in, why not have a look at how things are? I checked some many threads from all sections, and I saw that things were WAY worse than Toshi was telling me :/
Especially the spam zone, all I see is some people bashing noobs (even though they are bigger noobs themselves), and other idiots talking about sex and f*ck, even though I doubt they have ever had sex. Actually, I don't think they even know what they have between their legs :/
No wonder from the 10 people that register, only 3 of them stay, 2 of them leave after a week and the other one is forced to leave from your attitude after a month or so.
I also check kh-insider's boards. They are worse than us! But the way you're posting, khv will surpass them (in repelling!) in a few months.
Even though I'm not a pro myself, I thought it was good to inform you how others see this site.
I really hope someone reads all of this.

And as a side note: Catch the Rain I heard you had a terrible illness, you ok now? :D

I do agree with you on some of the points you made, but you referrin' to folks that call members noobs, bigger noobs...doesn't that make you the creampuff of noobs? XD

I do get what you mean but this isn't new. Unfortunately, this is how thin's go. I've been lookin' at auld threads from over 2 years ago, n' i was surprised to see how differently members acted. To me - i know folk will disagree - members were a wee bit nicer, perhaps due to the size of the forum. Though, they still had the habbit of gangin' up on members that didn't conform to their ways. Plus, a lot of the members considered as "vets" acted completely different...heck, i acted differently. xD

Folk have been complainin' 'bout how the site has changed, i know i have, but this is somethin' that cannot be changed. There will also be "noobs", folk that think they're the cat's meow, n' those who have nothin' better to do than belittle others on the internet. No matter what site you go on.

What you're saying is true, but if the site keeps acting with this logic then it's doomed, and I'm not exaggerating. It'll probably close. At 19-Dec-2010 this domain will expire and spdude will have to renew it. Do you think he will renew it, if he sees that the site isn't popular and he loses instead of gaining? I don't.
And to see that khv can go up instead of going down, just search for the root of the problem and you'll see that it's not big. It's just a couple of young kids that promote this status. The rest of the f*ckers are just fish.
And I'm an active member of like 4 or 5 websites, and I don't know why in any of them everyone's friendly and helpful, unlike here. Man, I just saw the tech & tech support section. Do you know that only Toshi and RvR post there to help someone? I was really surprised, no kidding!
I could say more, but that's not the point.
I bet anyone who reads this post or my other posts in this thread is laughing his ass off, but we'll see who will be the last one to laugh his ass off.

It's been doomed for quite sometime. xD Some folk say there's nothin' wrong with the way things are right now. N' if spdude didn't renew the domain it wouldn't be all that bad. Most folk would find some forum to ravage. Plus, they have their friends on msn etc.
It would break my habit of comin' here most days. xD

lol, no. It's not always young kids, it can quite often be aulder members that get a kick outta messin' with the younger ones. There is no possible way to fix this. Believin' otherwise is a fools hope. N' you gotta realise, it's just a website. =/ But it's the folk you meet that matter. Ignore the ones that bother you n' concentrate on those that appeal to you. Even if the site is gone you can still keep in contact with 'em.

Plus it has like a year n' a half left. I hope i can get out of the routine of visitin' here by then, otherwise i'm gonna be so disappointed in myself. xD

Just wanted to say from my constant scouring of the previous pages of the Spam Zone, this is quite true. Members did seem more laid back at the time, but this is simply from an observational viewpoint.

    Carry on now.

Well, if you put it that way, then let's leave the forum in its own luck. It's gonna close anyway.
But do you know that all the effort everyone has put in this website will be gone? Guides? Theories? Or the super-effort our coders do? Isn't it a bit unfair, that because of some people's ******iness someone else is gonna pay the sh*t?

Damn, I'm starting to believe that you actually don't want this site to improve.

You tell me, I got derepped in my first post here after a year or so without posting.

Oh some of us want just that, but our options are restricted and most people do not take the effort.

And don't mind the de-rep. It happens to everyone.

It's that some people dont care about the site anymore...It's going to hell sooner or later. But it might just do us good if it does.

If you really wanted that then you'd put some effort in it. Take Toshi for example, (because he's my friend and I'll support him), everytime he makes a joke thread there's always someone getting in his ass, saying the joke was lame bashing etc. And when he was banned, I saw a guy put a picture of fireworks. Very good effort.

Well, I know I haven't been here long enough to necessarily see every single change in member behavior, but you're right it has changed in the time that I've been here. It's become such a popularity contest and everyone that isn't included gets bashed. It's pretty immature. But regardless, I'd want to get the site to improve as would some other people who somewhat care about how things turn out. So we should be doing something for those of us who care. It's not like I'm going to stay here forever because I highly doubt that the site will last that long if the current situation continues.

Usually effort is ignored by the public in one way or another unless it is something grand.
