It's not going to happen, mainly because it has the potential to slow KHV.
If you want to chat, either use Visitor Messages, PM, MSN or even go to the (unofficial) KHV Chatroom.

 

Aaaaaaand it's now moved. The problem with a chat room is that it's been suggested before. There was one that was made a while ago that was around but I'm not sure it's active now. Ask Goimez if it still is, but as for a KH-Vids chat room otherwise, right now I believe the answer is still no. Many people use MSN so you might want to try that route and do chats there.

Edit: Goimez posted it up here http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=76803 so anyone wanting to go there is free to. I'll close this now since it's been suggested before otherwise and the answer was no for the time being.

 

I suggest anyone that suggests a chatroom should be banned.

this has been suggested before and turned down. i think the reason was because they would need moderation in the chatrooms. i personally don't think the site even needs one.

 

Personally, I would hate a chatroom. Most of the time, a chat room takes posts away from the main site and then some people LEAVE the site.

I remember a time when I was a mod a few years back at a sonic forum. They decided to incorporate a shoutbox on the main It was whored to the max by noobs and idiots in general who didn't have anything better to do. Posts reduced drastically. It got so bad, that I had to suggest to have it removed completely, in which it did.

There's always the option of an IRC chatroom, but then you encounter the problem of people having to have an IRC client(excluding those which have chatzilla), and what I stated above.

So no, probably not a very good idea.
