It's fine on the light version, but could probably be changed, anyway, for consistency.
@libregkd, it's better on hover, though it's still a bit hard to see. Not so much visibility, it just doesn't contrast well:

Not criticizing, just trying to help.
Also, it's still pretty hard to see when the alert is new. This is when you have an alert balloon, and you open the dropdown, and for a brief moment you'll see the latest alert highlighted.
Should be better now.
@libregkd: Really sorry to bring this up again and hope it's not a bother.
So this is fixed when simply hovering over alerts as seen here:
However, when the alert is new, link visibility is still an issue as seen here:
The hover background for a new alert also has the link visibility issue as seen here:
Again, hope it's not a bother. From personal experience, this area is a bit tricky to style because the new alert background color is only there briefly and then disappears.
Separate names with a comma.
