"Yes." he said. "Quite a few times."

 

"Did you kiss her before she died?" she asked, wiping her tears.

 

"No." he said. "I was trying to protect her from two monsters but one of them got to her and ripped her apart."

 

"What monsters?" she asked.

 

"Werewolves." he said, with disgust.

 

She shook her head She thought he was a little crazy.
"There's no such thing. A bear maybe, but not 'werewolves'" she said.

 

"Beleive what you want." he said. "I know what happened."

 

She sighed.
"How close were you guys?" she asked

 

"So close that I don't want to live without her." he said.

 

"How long have you known her?" she asked.

 

"Ever since she got here." he said.

 

She nodded.
"Mom and dad are gonna blame themselves for sending her down here in the first place," she said.

 

"It's my fault though, I couldn't protect her." he said.

 

"Why are you assuming it's your fault? Isn't it the 'werewolves' fault," she said emphasizing 'werewolves'.

 

"But I should have been able to protect her." he said.

 

"You need to stop blaming yourself....Would she want you to be like this?" she asked, putting her hand on his cold cheek again.

 

"I suppose she would want me to move on and find someone else." he said, looking up at her.

 

She smiled.
"There you go. Knowing Kimikia, she's always want you happy no matter what... That's what she told her friends in Seattle before she moved," she said.

 

"Did you only come here to see her?" he asked.

 

She shook her head.
"No, I was moving up here with her... My mom and dad were supposed to come but they decided to send me instead and turn in a report of what she's up to," she said
