Life in Forks.

She shook her head.
"I won't be able...to do anything...John..I'm dying," she said. She was shaking softly.

 

"What about if I make you like me?" he asked.

 

She clutched her hand to her chest and nodded.
"Hurry," she said softly.

Drake sat next to Kimikia.
"You guys don't have enough time or equipment. Lexi's parents might have left some at her house.. I'm not sure though... I'll get some drugs for the pain," he said.

 

"Don't I just bite her?" he asked.

 

"Yes, but the pain will be unbearable... Try biting her in her wrist or neck. Wherever the blood flows more," " he said.

Kimmy tried to remember the time when that one vampire had bitten her. It had burned horribly, but it beat dying...

 

He bit her on the neck, tasting the blood that flowed out. It took all his strength to pull back from her.

 

Kimmy started breathing fast, feeling the poison work through her body. She already felt the pain and was already wishing she were dead.

 

"Come on Kimmy, you can pull through!" he said.

 

Drake grabbed a pillow and put it under her head for comfort.
"The process can take up to days...the most a week, the less a few days. According to how her body handles the venom," he said.

Kimmy tried breathing slowly. She wanted so bad to scream out more but was in too much pain.

 

"I'll stay with her." he said. "You find Lexi and tell her."

 

Drake nodded and ran out of the house, looking for Lexi.

Natalie looked around the forest.
"I'd suggest she's either dead right now, or they're turning her," she said.

 

"It wouldn't be good if they were." Paul said. "New vampires are the worst, because they have no control."

"Stay with me Kimmy." Jason said.

 

Natalie tried to think.
"They'll do anything to make sure she's alive, and i can still smell her fresh scent...." she said.

Kimmy breathed slowly, grabbing his hand again.
"Please...don't...leave me," she breathed.

 

"I won't." he said. "I'll never leave you again."

 

She felt a tear go down her face.
"Promise?" she asked still breathing harder and harder.

 

"I promise." he said, leaning to kiss her on the lips.

 

She leaned up kissing him softly.

 

He kissed her back.

 

She broke it off and let out a squeal, feeling the fire rush through her body.

 

"I'm sorry." he said.
