Life in Forks.

"Promise?" she asked softly

 

"I promise. Shall we seal it with a kiss?" he asked, hopeful.

 

She shook her head.
"I told you.. I'm not into relationships," she said.

 

"I know, but it was worth a shot." he said, smiling a little.

 

She smiled slightly and got on her tiptoes, leaning in and kissing him.

 

His eyes grew wide, and then closed as he kissed her back.

 

She broke the kiss off gently with a smile.

 

"That was nice." he said, smiling back.

 

She didn't give a smile or a frown. She just looked down and thought for a second.

 

"Am I that bad of a kisser?" he asked.

 

She shook her head.
"No its just... That werewolf... He called me a vampire lover," she said.

 

"What's so wrong about that?" he asked.

 

"Nothing," she said softly.

 

"Then why does it bother you?" he asked.

 

"Because that werewolf is after me," she said.

 

"He's after me too." he said.

 

"I don't want you hurt," she said.

 

"It's kinda late for that." he said, chuckling.

 

She frowned.
"No matter what, I'll stay with you. I don't care if I'm dying, I'll be there," she said.

 

"And I'll always be here to protect you." he said.
