"Alright." he said, looking outside, away from her.

"umm thank you,"She said smiling. "so...what hobbies do you like to do?" she asked. The teacher heard her and asked her the math equation. She answered quickly and yet correctly, it amazed the class.

 

Kimikia frowned again and kept her head low. She felt herself crying again. She couldn't understand what made her want to cry though. She thought he was amazing... He looked away from her though. She didn't understand what she thought was wrong with her to make him turn.

He chuckled and looked over at her.
"Showing off much?" he asked with his gentle frantic tone... His eyes locked right on hers and he smiled.
"I like to...'hunt'" he said.

 

"Well, it makes him actually believe that I am listening to him, "She laughed, "Oh hunting... me too, fills up my thirst.. I don't hunt humans though, do you?"

 

He looked back at her. "Can I stop by later?" he asked, his voice hopeful.

 

He looked down and shuddered somewhat.
"I pass that question," he said. His tone wasn't pleasant, but he wasn't in a hateful mood.

Kimikia shook her head.
"I'd like that, but I have to clean up. My parents are coming in tomorrow to see how I am doing... They leave the day after... It's something they're going to be doing until I get fully settled in," she said.

 

"Oh." he said. "Maybe I can help?"

 

"Please tell me, "She said quietly and laid her hand on top of his and looked in his eyes.

 

She shook her head.
"I'd rather not... I have to just clean up around. I'll call you if I get done early" she said...


His eyes shifted to hers. They seemed to be lost in a pool of wondrous fortune for him. It was like a great treasure he wanted. Her eyes were so bare.
"It's a past thing... I never knew what was happening to me and i let my instincts take over. I can remember my first victims, listening to their horrified screams of what i became. I was never proud of the day i became, and i used to hunt humans, until someone came to me from Italy, threatning to kill me if i didn't stop..." he growled. He heard the teacher call on him also for a question he hadn't heard.
"Umm," he tried to answer. He looked through his book quickly to see if there was anything to use.
"Four?" he asked... apparently the roaring of the class showed him that wasn't the answer.

 

"Alright." he said, a little upset. Does she hate me for what I am? Is that why she's trying to avoid me now? he thought to himself, wanting to cry but couldn't.

 

She looked at him softly.
"Is something wrong?" she asked.

 

"Do you...hate me for what I am?" he asked.

 

She felt something inside her break down.
"Is that what you think it is?" she asked in an unbelievable whispering tone..

 

"It seems like you're trying to avoid me." he said, looking down.

 

She shook her head with the saddest sigh.. She raised her hand until the teacher called on her. She asked to be excused and she was given the okay. She stood up and walked out of the room.

 

He sighed and thought Now I've lost one of my two friends.

 

Kimikia headed towards the office and checked herself out. She would just come by tomorrow and pick up her things. She started walking home.

 

John excused himself from class and went after her. "Kimmy wait!" he said.

 

"Leave me alone! If you want me to be afraid of what you are then fine! I never even thought of it!" she said. She continued walking.

 

"But I don't! I want to spend time with you!" he said, catching up to her.
