Life at Camp Half-Blood

OCC:I kinda hate myself for knowing this much about Greek mythology :lolface:

The sad part is we are studying mythology at school right now. XD

OCC:yes.Please post!Scott needs to talk to someone.And Welcome to the cabin!^^ Me and two other people are in the Apollo cabin.

 

Dan walked in the gates of the camp."What a nice place!" he said. As he walked through the camp trying to find his cabin he couldn't help but admire how awesome it was there.
OOC:do you do like quests here? or just like hanging out stuff?

 

Scott sat bored on the cabins porch."This sucks!"

 

Marcus looked at Astra,wondering how much of a challenge she would be. "If you feel as though you can keep up with me in a fight,then sure go ahead and spar with me i guess" he said.

OOC: sorry lol i tend to take a while to reply sometimes

 

Astra shrugged, she doubted she could win, she was rusty with a blade but that wasn't going to stop her, "I don't know but I'll give it a good go" She grinned and walked over to the armoury nearby and picked up a sword as she didn't carry one with her, she doubted her bow would be good in a spar. She choose a fairly light sword and felt it's weight in her hand, making a few swipes to get a feel for it, "Ready when you are"

 

ummm... i never really put much thought into the quests. i guess that would depend on what happens in future events. so there is a possibility that there could be a quest for a group of campers.

at the end of the next day at camp, capture the flag will be played. leading cabins are Apollo and Athena. the reason for those cabins leading is because those are the two largest cabins so far.

 

OCC:I thought you ordered no capture the flag.

 

OOC:no it just says it won't happen very often
BIC: Dan spotted a few people gathered around an archery range. "Hey! Excuse me but can you tell where the Apollo cabin is?"

 

OCC:OH

Scott raised his hand "Over here!"

 

"Ok." Dan said walking over to Scott.He stopped and turned around.He pulled out his bow and an arrow. He fired it off and it hit dead center of the ccenter arrows."Hehe." Dan said as he entered the Apollo cabin.

 

Scott walked in with him"So you're new?How'd you find out about your father and camp halfblood?Welcome in advance."He had a big grin His blond hair shimmering in the light.

 

Marcus unsheathed his blade. "Hope you're ready for this" he said as he leapt forward a step. It appeared that he was lunging towards Astra,but was instead testing his reach.

 

Astra automatically spang back out of Marcus's reach, grinning, "Fiesty" She moved in a circle round Marcus, so she still wasn't in his immediate reach. She was too used to long range attacks, she knew she'd have to get closer to attack or let him come to her.

 

Marcus weighed up his options. He could either try again to reach, or he could go defence and hope he can block well enough. Best defence is a good offence he thought as he tried again to lunge towards Astra.

 

Astra jumped back again, away from the sword. However she figured she couldn't keep running away, that wouldn't be much of a spar so she didn't jump quite as far, still making sure her body was still out of reach. She brought her sword forward and the two swords made contact as she deflected his attack.

 

"It's a long story......" Dan held up his bow and sheath of arrows."Gift from dad....but enough about me what about you?"
