There really isn't much leveling up strategies that early in the game unfortunately. The only advice I can give is run around the Districts bashing heartless. If your struggling still I would definitely suggest lowering the game difficulty in the stat matrix.

I really suggest playing on either beginner or standard the first way through. Try making a link between the two big core-things. Once that's done, every chip that connects the two links will be doubled. So, you want to put your leveling chips in between there. Remember, you can't move chips, but you can exchange one chip for a different one. The more leveling chips you have between the two cores, the better.

Oh, and fight every heartless you come across. Those really boost the exp, but I think you already knew that.

The best advice I can give you is just to destroy the shadows in the second district or alleyway, that's what I'm doing. I know theres not that many shadows there but just go in and out and you'll level up. I was in LV40 but I was stuck in the coliseum(didn't get cloud) so I'm redoing the game from the beginning

Pretty much what I did was advance through the game first begining on Standard then so on as I get closer to finishing the game. By this tactic my leveling went slightly higher faster as I noticed while playing. Leveling up would be tough since it's mostly a puzzle type game though.

Best way is to just kill the bug blocks and heartless in Traverse

I think a good leveling up thing would be two player (if you got a friend to do it with) But if you do that would really help in my opinion
