It was a fun psychology lesson, despite our teacher being the most boring person ever D: I don't know how she manages to make a subject as interesting as psychology ultra boring >:| She must have super powers of boringness.

 

I'm here people , i survived the second week of year 10 8D but I've got giant essay's to write for physics about a life cycle of a star. how are you all? and i hope you're all looking forward to the weekend :D.

 

Ahh, I miss this sort of thing. I always found the stars interesting! If you need any help then I'm sure I could dig up my GCSE knowledge of the life cycle of a star, it was like cloud of gas being pulled together by gravity, then the protostar forms via convection currents heating it up which then draws more dust and gas toward it, then it becomes a main sequence star, then it'll become a red giant/super red giant (depending on the size of the star) when all the hydrogen has been used in fussion and then the outer layer will drift off into space leaving a white dwarf, or if it's a supergiant then it will explode in supernova sending dust and gas everywhere ^^. Although if the star is big enough then it'll leave a black hole behind.

Sorry, that was more for me, I was just testing myself /isn't sure how much of that is correct.

Hey everyone.

 

the start is just a basically a field of gas and dust made up of hydrogen , helium and elements , it's called a nebula , when the nebula's gravitational pull exceeds the outward pushing pressure of the nebula , the gravity collapses in on it's self and then the core of the nebula becomes denser and all the gas that collides begins to emit heat and kinetic energy which heats the core up , eventually the core becomes so compressed it begins to ignite due to nuclear fusion. a summary on the first 3 stages of a stars life xD

 

Ahh yes, I remember now. And you have to write an essay on this? What more is there to write? xD

 

a lot , it's explaining the whole life cycle xD thats only the first three stages. then about the different types of stars and how they die in a super nova and turn into a dwarf star shortly before turning into a neutron star.
