...Wait wtf happened?

 

I think Misty moved everyone's posts, that is if you haven't which it looks like.

 

I asked Misty to help me organize everything. So there will be assignment threads made where the entries can be made, and we can comment on them. The main clan thread will now be used for talking about more casual stuff rather than assignments, though you can still talk about it over there.

I will update the clan thread with a report on news.

 

Had a lot of trouble with this one since my original idea was to make it transparent, but it looked awful on dark skins so I have to put a white BG under it.

Oh well, it's still simple and nice, just how I like it. <3

Not really liking the white on white; no offense but it kinda hurts my eyes. D:
Doesn't seem to have a flow because of the background.

 

I actually really like it, but I think a logo has to be more rendered, so it can go on other tags or something like that.
So maybe if you render it, it would look it better. ::L:

 

I am thinking of changing the text, so don't worry. The oly thing I'm planning on keeping is the background, but it is likely to change soon

I'm thinking everyone is doing their best, but so far none has that ultimate "it" factor.

Laplace, yours is good, but the problem is, that it's not transparent, and I'm not sure it would work on any of the site's skins. Also, the Logo has to look good on both skins.

Beezygee, that could be classified like the misty', maybe too girly? I wouldn't use that and call myself a guy. I can clearly see it working for something girl exclusive, though.

Amethyst, the only thing I'd say that's a problem with it, because it's not bad. That I don't think it could work as a logo. The effects and gradient are nice, but I don't think it can work as a logo, is all.

You guys have been doing much better than I expected. I'm glad everyone's excited for this. I hope you keep enjoying, learning and having fun.

 

Maybe we should try adding something to each others images? See if we can get the "it" factor in combination rather than alone.

 

Sure thing. You can go about this whichever way you like. Just pick up any file you'd like and start tweaking with each other. It's going pretty well so far, I think a bit of mixing would be even better.

I've been trying to add some cell shading but urgh, I really suck at it. xD

Since transparency just can't work properly on soft brushing, I attempted to "Vectorize" the thing, how is it?

And I will give .PSD only if anybody wants it.

 

@misty: I have illustrator, but i can't use it well.

Oh. And I forgot my psd, but I'll make my own changes to it and give that psd. Is that alright?

 

Guys, today is the last day for entries.

I'm torn between Rissy's, Misty's, DPwolf's, or Laplace's. What do you guys think. Remember the one chosen will be our logo.

In the weekend, we'll have a new assignment, or an activity. I'm still working on the details. But, no worries, you'll have time to give out ideas, too. I'm not gonna be a dictator.
