Very striking. I like what you did with the individual colors of each piece but the pastels seem like a strange choice with all the dark reds and blues. Might work better with a few color balance layers. Other than that I wouldn't change a thing. Good use of negative space, which I have yet to master :'D
I disagree. I feel that the darkness of the character graphic balances out the lightness of the rest of the piece, and makes it more interesting to look at. I might be more inclined to agree had the color change been more sudden, but there's enough of a gradient to the background that I feel that it works fine. I agree about the negative space, though~ A very nice piece overall <3

I saw when you posted this, just didn't' have a chance to comment! The colors are appealing (I have a weakness for pastel colors). And as mentioned before your use of negative space was super creative. (I love poka dots also hehe.) Again, a beautiful piece. ~ Can't wait for you to get back into it and post more!
