"ahh sounds good, my friend's brother works here, ill be right back" he smiled at her. he got out of his chair and walked to find Kyle "hey man, its Brad, remember me?"
"Brad? Brad! hey man!" the tall man said as he shook his hand "of course I remember you, hows my little brother John doing? he isnt getting into trouble is he?" he asked
"no no, he's being good, making sure he isnt falling in with the wrong crowd, just like you asked" he reassured him
"good to hear, so what can i do for you my friend?"
"well actually, i brought a date here, and was wondering if you could, ya know give me some special treatment... how about it?"
"fine... i will have you moved to the lounge room, and i will personally seat and wait on you myself, that good?"
"fantastic!, i wont forget this Kyle"
"just be sure to keep John out of trouble, i have to worry about making money to afford his rent and tuition without parents helping keeps me occupied"
"consider it done"
Brad walked back from the kitchen towards Clear "hey, sorry i had to talk to my friend Kyle for a while, his brother is a member of the fraternity"
Kyle walked towards the table and looked at Clear "miss if you will follow me, i have a special table arranged for you two"

 

"special table?"she said in suprisewow...he's really going all out...

 

"yes miss, and if you will follow me i have your table already set up for you" he led them to the back room, the lights were dimmer and there were candles for light on the table and around the table "here we are, the VIP lounge"
Brad smiled as he saw the room, he nodded at Kyle and mouthed the words "thanks a ton" silently

 

"oh....my....god..."she muttered totaly stunned by the room"how could you get this so quickly?"

 

"well, i had a little help from Kyle setting this up" Brad said he walked towards the table and pulled her chair out to seat her "he is also our waiter tonight"

 

"Thanks for this."

 

"its my pleasure, i really like spending time with you, no matter how short of a time ive known you, thought you deserved the best" he said with a sincere smile

 

she went red but smiled

 

Kyle butted in, but made sure he didnt appear rude "if you two would like to sit down ill have menus ready for you and you can order when ready"
"alright, thank you Kyle" he said to him, he turned to Clear "after you"

 

she sat down

 

Brad sat down after her
Kyle set two menus in front of them "when your ready just say so, ill be back in a couple minutes"
"thanks Kyle" he said to him as the man walked away
"so, what are you going to get?"

 

"the chicken...you?"

 

"i think ill have the pasta" he said

 

"Is it any good here?"

 

"its my favorite thing to get here"

 

"pasta person then?"she smiled

 

"most of the time," he looked and saw Kyle from the corner of his eye walking towards the table
"has the couple decided what to order?" he said with a smile
Brad shot him an angry look for a second then smiled...

 

"yeah,Ill have the chicken."

 

"ill have the pasta as usual Kyle" he said as he handed him his menu
"an order of chicken for our lovely lady and the pasta for Brad, coming right up" he said as he swiftly walked towards the kitchen

Brad sighed "he can be immature at times, but he means well... his mother died of heart complications and their father started drinking heavily because he thought it was his fault... so Kyle pays the rent for himself and his little brother John"

 

"Oh...and he seems so happy."
