Um, hi. I've been writing a story for sometime now, and well, i wanted to post it. If this is against the rules, i'm sorry. My story follows the KH1 story line, while inserting my character, Christie.

Disclaimer: The Kingdom Hearts Franchise belongs to Square Enix and Disey. Christie belongs to Me.

    -----

Our story starts in a place known of by many, but known by few. The Universe of Kingdom Hearts.

    -----

Christie Barnes, aged fourteen, was one of the happiest girls on earth the minute she beat Kingdom Hearts II. She had been waiting for this game ever since she was twelve, and had finally beaten it.

"Ha! Take that you robe wearing freak!" She smiled, as she watched the final scenes run across her screen, a flutter in her heart as she watched Sunset Horizons.

"Yes!! Sequel, you are mine to own someday!" She sighed, placing her sore thumb in her mouth as she read her status screen. She shook her head, she had a long way to go, but not tonight. She looked at the small digital watch on her left wrist, displaying the time as 2:34 AM. She was already wearing her Pajamas which consisted of a sports bra under an orange happy bunny t-shirt, and a pair of well worn navy blue cotton shorts, so she could just hop in her bed once she had ejected the disk and memory card. She grabbed the box laying on the bed beside her, and stood to take the disk. As she ejected the disk, she noticed that for the time she had been playing, the system was hotter then it should have been. She raised an eyebrow, how odd that was. She grabbed the disk as soon as it had stopped spinning, and then ejected the memory card.

She snapped both in place in the Kingdom Hearts II box, and walked to her bookshelf. As she walked to it, she passed her full length mirror. With the light of the static coming from the TV, she could see her body. She was roughly 5 ' 2", had a normal average size figure, and had shoulder length coffee brown hair always up in a ponytail, and dark hazel eyes, so she didn't really stand out in a crowd. Regardless, she was happy with her figure, so she didn't bother watching her body in the mirror as much as some other people did. She placed the game box on the bookshelf, and yawned deeply. She undid her ponytail as she got into bed, placing the cloth scrunchy around her wrist. She crawled in under her covers, clicking the off button on her TV remote. As her head hit the pillow, she smiled again. To think, she had actually done it. She had beaten Kingdom Hearts II, and had done it in under two days. She rolled on her side, and closed her eyes. As she fell asleep, four words slipped past her lips.

    "I love you, Riku."

    ------------------

I winced, it was cold here, and I thought I had turned of my air conditioner, not left it on, dangit! I moved my hand trying to grab at my blankets. When my hand met a cold, hard substance, i started, fully awake. This was not my bedroom, definitely not. I sat up, looking around as I blinked the sleep out of my eyes. I was on a stained glass floor, which would explain the cold.

'This place sure is familiar," I thought as I stood up, 'where have I seen this place before?' I snapped my fingers as I vocalized the answer to my question, "Of course, this is the Snow White platform, in the Kingdom Hearts Awakening! Crap girl, what have you gotten into?"

So much to do, so little time, take your time. Don’t be afraid. The door is still shut. Now step forward. Can you do it?

"What the heck!?" I looked up and around, looking for the voice that had said that. I than smacked myself on the forehead.
"Of course you idiot, of course I can do it!" I stepped forward, almost losing my balance as the platform rumbled beneath me. Three pedestals rose up from the glass. One held a red shield with the Mickey head crest on the face of the metal.

    Defense

One held a silver bladed sword, the gold and blue hilt etched with the Mickey head crest.

    Offense

And the last one held a staff, which had a Mickey shaped crest sapphire on the tip, as gold and jade wound their way down the handle, ending in a sparkling ruby.

    Magic

You must choose now, which path will you follow?

I rolled my eyes. As the pedestals had risen, I had already made up my mind. I walked toward the pedestal holding the shield. As i jumped on it, my mind was reeling, trying to get a grasp on what was going on, because this dream certainly felt real enough.

The power of the guardian. Kindness to aid friends. A shield to repel all. Is this the power you seek?

I sighed, nodding. There was going to be no turning back now. The shield faded away in sparkles vaguely like pyreflies after a fiend was destroyed. I hopped off of the platform, wondering what the hell I would do. My body was moving on its own towards the platform holding the sword, as much as I liked games with combat in them, I never did like hack and slash type games.

The power of the warrior. Invincible courage. A sword of terrible destruction. Is this the power you wish to give up?

I nodded, determination in my stance.

"As much as I'll probably need courage, I don't want destruction."

    Very well, young one.

I jumped off of the pedestal as I felt it cave in beneath me. I tensed, ready to move to fall on my feet on the next platform. And just in time too, because the glass shattered beneath me just then. I could feel my hair whip around my face as I fell. I really need to put it back in it's normal ponytail before the Heartless arrived on the next platform. I landed on my knees, the wind knocked out of me. I looked down and up, nodding to myself as my hands went through the motions of putting my hair into a ponytail subconsciously.

You’ve gained the power to fight.

I nodded, swinging the shield in a motion that looked much like a right hook punch. Boy, was I glad I had taken those fist fighting lessons now.

All right! You’ve got it. Use this power to protect yourself and others. There will be times that you’ll have to fight. Keep your light burning strong.

"Oh crud." I winced, looking at the Shadows that had come up from the floor. I tensed, bending by back slightly, concentrating my weight on my right leg, ready to strike. I clenched my teeth as I charged at the heartless. In less than two minutes the group of heartless was gone, leaving small balls of HP recovery behind. I sighed, shoulders sagging as I went to pick one of them up, I had gotten a bit banged around.

    Behind you!

"What?!" I had forgotten about that one. 'You stupid girl, you've already been through this a dozen times, get it right!' I slashed, all the while feeling as if a protective barrier had gone up around me. After the heartless were gone, I had no time to pick up the health balls. The floor had turned into something resembling a black hole, sucking me into it. I smirked a bit, letting myself sink. I was a bit scared, but not terrified just yet. I won't go into detail about what happened on the next platform, mostly because nothing happened. I was just bust a box, throw a barrel, open a chest, open a door. In that order. Boring.

Hold on. The door won’t open just yet. First tell me more about yourself.

After i opened the door, i ended up on the Paopu Islet on Destiny islands. I was a little surprised, I'll admit it. I looked around, judging from my surroundings, it was already night. Also, Selphie, Wakka and Tidus weren't the ones there. I jerked in surprise as I saw Axel standing at the edge of the Islet, looking to the rising heart shaped moon. I walked towards him, and as I got close he turned, bright green eyes lifeless.

"What are you afraid of?" I looked down, scuffing my still bare feet against the ground. "Being different." He smiled sadly. "Is being different really that scary?" He said as he started fading away. I reached out, to try and grab him, but i grasped at air. I turned, eyes watering slightly at the fact he had faded again. I wiped my tears away as I walked back inland. The next figure I met was Leon. He was leaning against one of the straight trees, arms crossed. As I got close, he opened storm grey eyes. "What do you want out of life?" I tilted my head slightly, biting my tongue. "To be strong" He smiled a blank smile as he placed a gentle hand on my head. "To be strong, eh, Nee-Chan?" I started, had he just called me little sister? I opened my mouth to ask him what he meant, but he faded as fast as Axel. I shook my head, this was all so confusing.

"Whats most important to you?" I tensed. I would know that voice anywhere. It was etched in my heart. "Riku..." He was sitting on the paopu tree, one leg hanging, the other drawn up to his chest. His silver hair was still above his shoulder blades, which meant I was still in the Kingdom Hearts one time line. But that didn't explain Axel. Ah well, deal with this first. I walked closer, looking up at aquamarine eyes.

"Friendship, and love." He smiled, looking at me with something i couldn't detect in his eyes. "I understand. With you, it's easy to see how important that is." He said as he faded.

You want friendship and love. You want to be strong. You’re afraid of being different. Your adventure begins in the dead of night. Your road won’t be easy, but a rising sun awaits your journeys end.

"That's fine. I've always liked traveling at night."

    Well said, little one.

    -----------------------
After i had answered the boy's questions, my mind was still reeling. Apparently Axel had been there, Leon calls me Nee-Chan, and Riku is still in the original Kingdom Hearts timeline. I sat, cross legged on the cold stained glass, trying to understand what was going on. I started nibbling on my lower lip. It's a nervous habit I've had for a while. I took a deep breath as i stood, knowing that staying here just moping around would be a bad idea. I looked around, and gulped.

    There was no save point.

"Okay, that proves that I am not dreaming, as much as it seems that way." I said to myself as i turned around, facing the shadow that had taken it upon itself to sneak up me. I slashed at the shadow, wincing as it's claws made a thin scratch on my left art, almost cutting to my watch band. After they were all gone, i picked up the health balls left behind, and started walked up to the Beauty and The Beast platform. As i walked up the stained glass stairs, i tripped. Falling to me knees, i heard a tinkling sound behind me. I looked back, and gulped. The platforms were starting to disappear behind me. I got up, and ran for the next platform. When i got there i skidded to a stop, surprised at what i saw.

    Myself.

The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow will become.

The figure turned, and it was then i noticed the differences between us. She had light brown hair, while mine was a dark, almost coffee brown shade. She had baby blue eyes, much like that of Namine, while i had dark hazel. We walked past each other, and as i passed her, i noticed that the smelled like a citrus grove. She turned, and drew out a sword. I tensed, as my shield appeared on my right arm. We charged at each other, exchanging blows as both of us tried to defeat the other. As the fight raged on, i asked a question.

"Who are you!?" I was a bit surprised at the answer.
"I'm you. At least, I'm your nobody." I jumped back, shocked at what i heard.
"My Nobody?! But that's crazy, I've never become a heartless!"
"Not yet anyway, but you will, just as those three you know of will." What in the world did this girl mean? I winced as i was knocked down,
"You need to learn to keep your head in the game." I snarled at her, trying to stand.

-But don’t be afraid. You hold the mightiest weapon of all.

She had placed her hands on the ground, opening a dark portal just beneath me. As i fell, i looked at her trying to memorize her face, so if we met again I'd know her. I squirmed and kicked trying to break free of the darkness' hold, but to no avail.

"Oh, if you wanted to know my name, it's Kiana. Remember that, Christie. See you around someday."

So don’t forget; you are the one who will help them open the door.

    And then, i passed out.

Whoa, i wasn't expecting a response so quickly. (smiles) Well, here's chapter two.

Disclaimer: The KH franchise belongs to Squeenix and Disney. Christie belongs to me.

    --

"Is she dead?" I could hear a voice, a female that sounded like Kairi.

"No, Kairi she's not dead. See her stomachs going up and down. She's breathing." Another voice, this one sounding like Sora
    .
"That's obvious. But even if she's breathing, who is she?" Riku...? I groaned.

"What am I, a museum artifact,?" I sat up slowly, trying to stave off any dizziness.

"Easy, you've got quite the bump on your head, you know." Thanks a lot Riku, I'd felt that earlier.

"Thanks. Now can someone please tell me where I am?" I had to act as if i didn't know what was going to happen, but I could possibly change things, I hope. Kairi
    answered my question.

"Your on Destiny Islands. Now can you answer mine? Where are YOU from?" I sighed, closing my eyes. I was afraid of this. There was no way i could possibly explain to them that on my world, this was all just a video game.
"I'm from a world called Earth. It's probabley pretty far from here, so I can't take you guys there." I said as I stood and brushed my shorts off. Geez, I hate sand.
"Well that does explain somethings, but not everything." Riku, Riku, Riku. You think I dint know that?

Remember, Christina. They are not allowed to find out about the games. You have an advantage. Use it to protect them.

"Okay, I know only one persons name, and i don't even know which one of you that person is. I'm Christie, and you all are?" They all looked a bit sheepish, almost surprised. Sora nervously chuckled as I smiled gently at them.

"Sorry about that. I guess we forgot to introduce ourselves. I'm Sora." He wrapped his arm around Kairi's shoulders. "This is Kairi." He pointed to Riku standing behind me. "And the one behind you is Riku." I turned to look at Riku, and noticed his clenched fists. I nodded. "Nice to meet you all." Kairi smiled gently, looking me up and down, before saying,
"Hmm... We look about the same size, so let's get you out of those wet clothes." I looked down. I hadn't even noticed i was wet. Ah well, at least my underwear was still dry, or that would have been very embarrassing.

    "Heh, yeah.

    ------------------------------

It's been a year already. It turns out that I'm the same age as Riku now, instead of him being two years my senior. I look down at the outfit i'm wearing. Dark purple thick strapped tank top on top of a black sports bra, a pair of denim cut off shorts, and a pair of navy blue and white sneakers. The mayor's wife was very helpful in helping pick out clothes. I don't live on the main residential island with Sora, Kairi and Riku. I live in the tree house on the play island, mostly because the mayor was unable to find me a house that i could stay in. But to tell you the truth, i don't really mind. It lets me stay close to the trio. And I'm going to need that closeness when the heartless arrive. It's oodi think as i stretch, i haven't had any contact with that voice since the day i arrived. It makes me wonder what's going on. I raise my head at the sound of footsteps coming from the wooden platforms to my right. I smile as i duck back inside the rooms to get the cloth Sora came to pick up.

"Figured you come at a time like this Spike." I say as i hand the rolled up cloth to him. He took it with a smile, bu that smile faded to fast for his nature. I tilted my head.

"What's wrong Sora? You seem down." He looked at me, looking surprised.

"It's just.... i think some thing's wrong with Riku. He seems depressed today." I raised an eyebrow. Riku was never depressed. Pensive yes, i'll give you that, but never depressed. I shook my head, i needed to talk t that boy.

"I'll talk with him. You take that cloth to Kairi so you don't get in trouble, OK?" He nodded and pointed to the cove door.

"Riku went into the cove not five minutes ago, so he's probably still in there. See You later Christie." I nodded as i jumped down the ladder, waving to Kairi as i passed her on the beach. I took a deep breath as i pushed open the cove door, trying to ready myself for what I'd see on the other side. Before i even had entered the cove, i could hear the sound of rope being tied. I smiled as i jumped down into the shallow water next to the rotten bridge, trying to sneak up on the silver haired boy. I walked up to him, tapping his arm. He jumped, quickly turning around, a surprised look on his face. I smiled gently, hands clasped behind my back, but i squeaked in surprise as he pulled me into a tight hug. I embraced him myself, inhaling his scent as i did, noting that despite the fact he lived on a tropical island, he smelled like the air after it had rained. As much as i would have liked to continue the hug, a human body does need to breath. I pushed away gently, trying not to hurt his feelings. He smiled brightly, then turned to face the ocean.

"I'm glad..." I tilted my head, what did he mean? I put a hand on his shoulder, trying to get a good look at his face.

"Riku, whats the matter?" He turned slightly, and i could see the tear sliding down his cheek. He sighed deeply.

"It's just i had a bad dream last night. You and I were in a white hallway, and this man was standing over you. You weren't moving, you were just lying there. So when i noticed that you weren't on the beach this morning, i got worried. I guess seeing that you were still alive, my emotions got a hold of me. Sorry, Chris." His head was down, so i knew he was telling the truth. I bit my lip, exhaling.

"Riku.... You don't need to worry. I'm here, I'm fine, and neither of us have been in any white hallways. At least not my knowledge." He nodded, before digging his hand in his pocket.

"I made something for you. Turn around." I raised an eyebrow, confused, but did as he asked. I felt his gloved fingers move my ponytail to the side, then slip something warm around my neck. There was a click like a metal clasp. I put my hand on the warmth, feeling small pieces of shells. I turned around to face him, a questioning smile on my face. He put a hand behind his head, running his hand over his neck in a nervous gesture. I ducked my head, eyes looking at the ground as i felt my cheeks tint with a blush. I bit my lip, hoping i wouldn't regret this later. I stood on my tiptoes, and put a light kiss on his cheek, before i ducked down again. He blinks surprised, and then blushed himself. My head raised at the sound of the wooden board on the rotten bridge falling, and a muttered curse. We both would know that voice anywhere. Sora. I rolled my eyes as i sighed. I turned to get up on the bridge to make sure Sora wouldn't ruin the cloth we needed, but before i did, I smiled at Riku.

"Thank you." He nodded, still blushing. I really shouldn't say this, but i think my hearts already chosen who my life mate is. I winced as Sora near fell into the water.

"Sora, stop right there before you fall and break your neck!" If only things could stay this easy forever. But i know whats to come, and I'm a little afraid of what might happen thanks to my messing things up. We had finished the raft that day, so once the sun started setting, we all headed for the Paopu Islet. I sat to Kairi's Left, with my legs drawn up to my chest as to not kick Riku in the head.

"So Kairi's and Christie's homes are out there somewhere right?"

"Could be, well never know by staying here"

"But how far could a raft take us"

"Who knows, if we have to we'll think of something else"

"So suppose you get to another world, what would you do there?"

"Hmm well i haven't really thought about. It's just... I've always wondered why we're here on this island. If there are any other worlds out there why did we end up on this one? And suppose there are other worlds, like the ones Christie and you are from, Kairi, then ours is just a little piece of something much greater. So we could have just as easily ended up somewhere else, right?"

    "I don't know."

"Exactly. Which is why we need to go out there and find out. Just sitting here wont change a thing. Its the same old stuff. So lets go."

"You've been thinking a lot lately haven't you, Riku?"

"Thanks to you and Kairi. If you two hadn't come i probably never would have thought of any of this. Christie, Kairi, Thanks."

    "Your welcome."

"Heh, there's no reason to thank me."

I jumped off of the tree, heading for the Treehouse for the night, so although i knew the reason Sora and Riku were taking so long, i didn't stay behind to hear it. I stopped and waited on the docks to say goodnight, then headed up to my so called 'House'. When i reached the balcony i lit the lanterns in the area, then watched the what was left of the sunset from the balcony. And you know something? I could of sworn i heard Donald screech all the way from the castle.

Thanks for the feedback Orion. Here's Chapter 3, and where the story diverges from the game.

Disclaimer: The KH franchise belongs to Squeenix and Disney. Christie belongs to me.

    WARNING! SLIGHT BLOOD!

    ----

I sighed from my place on the balcony. I remember what had happened today in the game, so i had to be prepared. Today's the day the Xehanort's Heartless antagonizes Sora in the Secret Place. Tonight the Heartless attack. I really worry about what i should do. Should i change things up, or should i just let things play out as they do in the game? No, my heart won't accept that, so it's mess things up time. I smile, I need to make sure Kairi doesn't lose her heart tonight, and still make sure that Riku stays with us, instead of going of to join Maleficent. i climb down the ladders as Sora jumps on the docks. I noticed that Sora is going about the same route that I did during my first game play. So that means the he's going to find Tidus to challenge him to a three on one duel. I'd better stay off the beach for now, i don't want to get caught in the middle of things. I smile as i hear Tidus' groan of defeat, and shake my head in exasperation.

'Silly Sora, are you even trying to win against Riku when you two fight, or are just too strong for them now?' I think to myself as i push open the cove door to see Riku sitting on the platform overlooking the sea.

"Hey Riku." He starts, i guess he hadn't heard the door creak, but he turns to face me. He smiles gently, a sad look in his eyes, almost as if he's apologizing for something he's yet to do.

"Morning Chris." I note the sadness in his tone, so i move closer to him.

"Did you have another dream?" He nodded, so i sat down next to him. I squeaked in surprise as he pulled me to him in a one armed hug.

"This one was almost just like a continuation of last night's. You were still lying there, not moving, but this time i could see a blood trail on the ground, like you had gotten hurt really bad." At this he squeezed me tighter, almost as if he was telling himself that i was still alive.

"Did you see what the man looked like this time?" He nodded.

"He had long white hair, orange eyes and was wearing a black cloak of some type, with a red and black heart like symbol on his chest. Does he sound like someone familiar?" I snarled. I knew that that man was Xehanort, but they weren't supposed to find out until a year later.

"Yeah i know him. But did something else happen?" He didn't bother to gesture this time, just answered my question.

"Yeah, he said if i joined him, he'd make sure that nothing happened to you." I grimaced, what a lie that was. I stood, sighing as i looked out to sea. I nodded to myself, then turned to look at Riku.

"Riku i want you to promise me something."

"Sure, what is it." I kneeled to look him in the eyes.

"I want you to promise me, that no matter what happens, you will NEVER join with that man."

"Chris, if i don't i won't be able to protect you.."

"That doesn't matter anyway!" He drew back, startled. I close my eyes and shook my head as i hugged his shoulders.

"I'm sorry Riku, but if you protect me like that, i'll have to fight you." I could feel him tense, but i held on tight, i wasn't going to let Xehanort take him from us just yet

"Chris.... Alright i promise, i won't join him." He said as he wrapped his arms around my back. I sighed, relieved that at least i tried to change the one thing that had been really bothering be for a long time.

"But, i want you to promise me something to. Promise me that you won't take off the necklace i gave you." I nodded into his neck. We were bonded now. The only regret i have as i look back at that was not hearing Sora open the cove door.

"Oops, didn't mean to barge in on you lovebirds." 'Damnit Sora, if you weren't the keyblade master I'd hurt you good right now' I thought to myself as Riku and I jumped apart.

"SORA! We are not lovebirds. Just close friends." I winced when he said that, despite the fact it was probably true from his point of view. I stood, brushing off my legs.

"I'll leave you two too settle this on your own, cause i need to find Kairi." The boys nodded, and i jumped off the ledge into the shallows, walking towards the Raft, sighing as i heard the boys start to argue over the name of the raft.

    "Highwind!"

"Hikari!" As i reached the raft, i noticed that Kairi had stopped sewing her thalassa shell charm, and had looked up at the boys barely visible heads. She rolled her eyes, and handed me a glass bottle.

"For fresh water. You get the water, i'll mess with the boys." I nodded, Stepping into the water near the mini falls coming from the rock face where i could overhear the conversation.

"If i win, I'm captain. If you win...uh"

"I get to share a paopu with one of the girls"

    "What!'

"Deal? The winner gets to share a paopu with the girl of there choice."

    "Wait a minute!"

"On my count!" The race was on, and i got soaked by the over splash of the loose wooden boards that had fallen.

"BOYS! Watch it boys, or i'll flay you." I said as i fumbled to catch the bottle before it fell into the water. I shook my head as i jumped back up on the ledge and handed the bottle back to Kairi. I had already wrung out most of the water out of my clothes and hair by the time the boys were running back across the bridge. Sora was in the lead, a large smile on his face. Riku was not two steps behind him, so i winced when they both skidded to a stop and ended up landing face down on the ground. Sora jumped up, not a scratch on him.

"Yes, were naming the raft Hikari!"

"Its just a name Sora, no need to get so excited." Sora frowned, excitement dampened. I decided to step in

"Sora, can you help Kairi? We still need food for the trip." He nodded, and ran off to the raft, as Riku moved to stand on the end of the ledge.

"Chris, about the paopu thing, it was just a joke." I made a noise of approval, then went through the cove door, heading through the seaside shack up to the paopu islet. I moved to stand on the edge of the islet, sighing as i looked to the horizon. If Xehanort was desperate enough to try and coerce Riku like that, who knows what else he'll do! There's a thunk behind me, so i turn, drawing my twin wooden daggers from their leather sheathes secured around my waist. I sigh, having seen Sora land on his rear end from falling off of the tree that housed a seagull nest.

"Sora, do you want help?" He shook his head, stubbornly jumping back on the tree, only to fall of again. I sighed and started walking off into the stair case leading to the beach, before his voice stopped me.

"I'll get the egg, but can you catch four fish for me?" I nodded, knowing that he had seen me. I jogged down to the beach, all the while taking off my shoes, so they wouldn't get all wet. I waded into the shallows. I'm not going into detail about catching fish, because they're slick dunce brains. Having caught all four fish not twenty minutes later, i pulled on my shoes, then grabbed the fish by their tails, and handed them to Sora who was waiting for me at the cove door. He smiled, then walked off. I headed for the tree house balcony, only to bump into Riku.

"Sorry Chris, I didn't mean to bump into you." he said as he helped me up.

"It's ok, Riku. But what are you still doing here? I thought that you would have already gone home." He put a hand behind his neck, looking sheepish.

"Yeah, about that. My parents are out for the weekend, so i was wondering if maybe i could stay here with you for a while?" I nodded, grabbing his hand as we ran up the steps to the ladders. As i climbed after him, I looked to the horizon, frowning slightly as i saw the start of the Heartless Storm. I just hope that my plan works out alright, cause I'm really on a limb right now.

    -------------

'Tonight's the night' I think as I watch Riku reading on of my books. I stood, moving to the balcony as i hear i thunder rumble outside. I can already see the Shadows start to form, and there's no sign of Kairi or Sora, so I'm a bit worried.

"Riku! We need to go." He jumps, startled out of his reading

Remember Christina, you still have an advantage, so use it to the best of your ability.

Riku ran to the balcony to see whats going on, then grabbed my hand, and we didn't bother with the ladder, this time just jumped of the platform, running for Sora who was standing on the docks, dodging heartless on the way.

"Spike, you ok?!" I could barely make out his nod, but he didn't have a scratch on him yet.

"What in the world is going on, Christie?!" I bit my lip, this was not going to be easy explaining. Sora, why couldn't you have chose a better time to ask?

"Guys, where is Kairi?" Sora looked around at Rikus question, fear in his sapphire blue eyes.

"What, i though she was with you two!"

"Look around spike head, she ain't here!" I winced at the crack of thunder right above us, dropping my guard. And as such, i coudn't see the Shadow sneaking up on me.

"Chris! Move!" I covered my head, blinded from the flash of lightning magic. When the light had faded, i saw Kairi running towards us, with a strange item in her hands. When she got closer, I saw that it was a staff, with a blue handle and a large golden circle with three teardrop shaped pieces of metal inside the circle. 'Yuna's first weapon.'

"You guys alright?" We all nodded. That's when it happened.

You will all need weapons if you are to survive this ordeal. Remember to keep your lights burning strong

There was another flash of light, and when this one faded, I felt my sheaths a little heaviest. I pulled out my daggers, and was surprised to see that they were no longer wood, but sharp metal. The blades themselves were silver, along with handles. But hanging of the handles of each were two Mickey head crests, one gold the other silver. I looked back at Sora, to see the Kingdom Key in his hands, his eyes travelling over the length of the blade, Kairi beside him staff in hand. Then i looked to Riku, surprised at what i saw. He had his Soul Eater, yes, but the color scheme was different. Instead of being blue and red, the blade was silver blending into gold. And instead of the blue eye shaped crystal on the hilt, there was a silver Mickey head crest. We looked at each other, nodding.

"Look I can't explain how i know right now, but the only safe place on the Island right now is the Secret Place. We need to get moving."

Riku and Sora pushed ahead of Kairi and me, and we took off running towards the cave. Any shadows we met along the way were quickly disposed of by the boys, so we met little opposition. We were quick to push open the large doors blocking the way, then ducked inside. Once inside, i led the way to the chamber that housed the heart of the world, Only to skid to a stop as i saw a man in a brown cloak stood in front of it, hands outstretched as if to beckon us into an embrace. I moved to stand in front of Riku, daggers drawn ina defensive position. I snarled at him.

"It's to late Ansem! You already lost your pawn!"

He chuckled, as if that didn't matter anymore.

"Perhaps girl. But it is still to late to save this world."

I growled, then looked to the keyhole marked door as it flew open. I could hear Kairi scream, and closed my eyes.

When we landed, we all let out grunts of pain, except for Kairi, as Sora had shielded her. I kneeled, then looked off the edge of the platform, wincing as i realised that the debris down there was really the islands. I looked up, knowing Darkside was already here. You know how much i hate being right? A lot. We all stood, weapons ready.

"All right, Riku, Sora, you guys concentrate on one of the hands when it gets down here. Kairi you're with me. We're going to get up on the shoulder and bash it's head in."

They all nodded, and we scattered. Kairi and I hand some trouble keeping our grip on the arms, but we got up there. That's when i noticed that Kairi is actually quite the mage.

'And she has quite the affinity for Thundara spells' i thought as Darksides head was zapped again. Just as Darkside started faded, Kairi and I jumped of, landing on our knees. The boys were waiting for us, weapons waiting for anything that thing had left to throw at us. I sheathed my daggers shaking my head. Thats' when i saw it, Darkside was getting drawn up into the dark storm above us. I grabbed onto Riku and Kairi's hand, while Riku and Kairi grabbed onto Sora's. I smiled at them.

"We'll go together." We all looked at eachother, then smiled as we closed our eyes, and fell into a deep sleep.

"Twilight and Light, Dawn and Darkness, united as one, Your stories begin here little ones."

    -----

I wince, making landings on cold, hard floors appears to becoming a bad habit. I shake my head, feeling my ponytail come loose. I look around, noting the purple floors and golden fountain in the corner. I know this world by heart, even more than The World That Never Was, or the Islands, so it doesn't surprise me that the door leading to the first district is still locked.

"Ugh..." I look down, to see Kairi's red hair next to my foot. I kneel shaking her shoulders, trying to wake her up.

"Kairi! Kairi, come on wake up, now is not the time for a nap!" She groaned, pushing herself up from the floor, eyes focusing on me. I sighed in relief, she hadn't lost her heart after all. I stood, offering my hand to her. She took it, wincing as her knees popped from being laying down so long.

"You alright, Christie?" I nooded, then pushed her in the direction of the second district doors.

"I'm fine, but the boys aren't in this area, so it'd be best if we got a move on!" She nodded, then jumped as i kept pushing her.

"You know, i can walk Christie." I snorted, then took off running, not bothering to see if she could keep up, because i knew she could. I pushed open the heavy door. Worried about the boys, or what we'd find on the other side.

"Do you think the boys are ok, Chris?" I could hear her voice shake, so i didn't stop running through the alleyway leading towards the plaza. I stopped as a soldier heartless ran past me, surprised that it didn't bother attacking us. That's when i noticed the silver flashes coming from the plaza. I drew my daggers, running into combat then and there.

    ---------

The silver flashes had turned out to be an exhuasted Riku, so we helped with destroying the heartless. He sighed, falling to the ground in exhaustion, head in his hands. I kneeled next to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. He looked up, a smile coming to his face as he saw me and Kairi. I could hear a Cure spell being cast, then stood, offering my hand to the boy. I turned, smiling at Kairi, when i noticed a man running headlong towards the door leading to the first district. I jumped, drawing my daggers as i turned toward them,

"Come on guys, i got a good feeling about this place right now." They nodded, running after me as we heard Sora open the first district door. As we reached the platform, the man was attacked by a soldier heartless, and we watched as that same soldier grabbed at the crystal like heart, only to disappear into a dark portal, leaving shadows behind for us to fight. We slashed our way thropugh the shadows, covering each others backs. Once the shadows were gone, Sora turned to us, a big grin on his face.

"What do you say that we get somewhere safer now?" We all nodded as he led the way back into the first district. I had spent a lot of time in this area while i played, so i had memorized the layout. Sora was leading us towards Cid's shop, but as he did i felt someones eyes watching us, so i turned to scan the lower area. I didn't see anything, but i had a feeling that is was Leon, so i wasn't worried. I hadn't known it then, but he was watching us, surprise in his eyes.

"Sora, I see you found your friends."

"Yeah Cid. These are Riku, Kairi and Christie." He pointed to us in turn, and we nodded hello.

"Well, since you found each other, why dontcha explore the town? But ya gotta be careful, cause the heartless are gettin antsy." We left the shop, only to have to deal with Leon.

"They'll come at you out of nowhere."

We all jumped, surprised. I had known he was coming, but the look in his eyes was worrying me as he looked at Kairi and I

    "Who are you?" Sora asked

"And they'll keep on coming at you, as long as you continue to wield the Keyblade. But why? Why would it choose a kid like you?"

He put a hand on his forehead, thumb moving over his scar.

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?"

We drew our weapons, and i noticed that Leon's eyes had taken on a sad look. He shook his head.
"Never mind. Now, let me see that Keyblade."
"What? There's no way you're getting this!"
"All right, then have it your way." Riku scowled, standing next to the younger boy, Soul Eater in hand.

"Chris, take care of Kairi. Sora and I can handle him on our own" I winced, but nodded as i pushed Kairi behind me. I really hate not being able to fight, but the boys have to do this alone. They jumped at Leon as he began casting a Fire spell. I bit my lip as they were sent flying from the explosion. Sora landed on one of the tables in the cafe, quickly getting on his feet. Riku had landed further away, landing near the world exit doors.

"That's it. Kairi stay here, i don't want you to get hurt." She nodded, and i jumped in front of Riku, daggers in a defensive position, loose hair hiding my eyes. I glared at Leon. He shook his head, then collapsed to the ground, gunblade falling from his hands as i heard a loud thunk. Once he had fallen, i saw Kairi behind him, staff handle still cocked behind his head.
"Nobody gets away with attacking my friends." Sora walked up beside her, smiling at her obvious bravery.
"Leon!" I winced, i had forgotten about Yuffie.
"What did you guys do to him?!" She asked, glaring at us as she turned him over, cradling his head in her lap. Kairi bit her lip, putting her head down.
"He was attacking my friends." Yuffie's eyes widened as she saw Kairi, then looked at me.

"No way, it can't be you two. I saw you both get carted off by those heartless." At that point, Leon groaned, pushing himself up of the ground. He grabbed his gunblade, then walked off. He turned his head, gesturing for us to follow him. We all did, if only because Yuffie was fingering her shuriken pouch like she wanted to let loose on us. We ended up in the Second Districts hotel green room. Leon sat down at the table, head in hands as Yuffie sat on the window sill.
"Alright, let's get down to business." He looked at Sora "It's obvious that you have some skill with the keyblade, but no amount of skill can save you whaen the Heartless come at you all in full force." I shook my head, swallowing thickly at his tone. Riku scowled.

"How come you attacked us?! What were you trying to pull?"Leon looked up at us, glaring at the silver haired boy.

"I was trying to protect you, that's what. The heartless don't care how old you are, they'll do anything they can to get rid of the keyblade. And if a bunch of kids are wielding it, even better for them, cause you obviously need a girl to save your ***!"

I jumped in between them, trying to avoid the fight i knew was going to come.

"Ok, break it up you two. We get the picture, but that still doesn't explain something." I pointed at Yuffie while i was saying this. "She said that Kairi and I had gotten carted off by heartless. But we haven't." Leon started, looking at Yuffie, then looking at me. He stood, walking to me. He looked me in the eyes, then looked at Kairi, taking in her burgundy hair.
"It can't be, Kairi?" Kairi's eyes widened as she nodded. Yuffie smiled as she jumped up a bit.
"I knew it, it is them!" Leon looked at her out of the corner of his eyes, then turned to me again.

"Do, by any chance you have a scar on your left ankle?" I nodded, eyes showing confusion. He sighed in relief, then pulled me close.
"Nee-Chan. I thought i had lost you." I closed my eyes, thinking back to the dream i had before i arrived here last year. He had called me Nee-Chan then to. That's when it happened.

"Come on Nii-san, you promised me you'd teach me how to fight today." A younger me was saying to someone who looked like a younger Leon. He smiled at the girl. Placing his hand on her head, he nodded, then took her hand and led her outside. Another flash, and the girl was running with the boy and a girl who looked like Kairi when she had first arrived on the Islands. They looked behind them, running faster as the boy turned Gunblade in hand. A girl who looked like Yuffie was running in front of them, wincing as she heard a fire spell be cast.
"Squall, Chris, Kairi. Come on we have to go." Leon nodded, then pushed the girls in Yuffie's direction.
"You two get going, I'll hold of the Heartless." The girl with brown hair shook her head, tears springing to her eyes.
"No Nii-san, i don't want to leave without you!" Kairi grabbed my hand,
"Come on Chrissy, we have to go." Leon pushed us further along, but we ended up getting caught in a defenders grasp.
    "Nii-San!"

Another flash, and i was back, still being hugged by Leon.
"Nii-san...." I embraced him myself, burying my nose in his shirt.
"LEON!" We broke off, wincing as Yuffie pointed at the soldier that had popped up in the room
"Yuffie Go!" She nodded, running through the door that led to the red room
"Guy's lets go" He sent the Heartless flying out the window, then jumped off the balcony.

"Uh.. how about we take the door?"
We all nodded at Kairi, then ran for the alleyway. When we got there, Leon had already cleared out the area.
"Forget about the small fry, find the leader." He said as he ran off. I rolled my eyes. Again with the running.
"Come on guys, i got a good idea where we need to go." I was surprised as Kairi took the lead, but then again she was braver than the game put her out to be. We ran, dodging heartless on the way to the Third district. I looked up as we entered the area, half expecting Donald and Goofy to show up then and there. Like i said before, i hate being right. I heard a squawk, then a thud as Sora was knocked to the ground by the combined weight of the two. Riku cocked an eyebrow as they looked at us.

"The Key!" I nearly lost my balance as pillars rose up from the ground, blocking off all the exits. They got off of Sora, drawing weapons as soldier heartless showed up. We jumped into the fray, all the while i was preparing for the the next fight. When all the soldier were gone, i looked up as Guard armor arrived on the scene. I growled, jumping at the creature.
"Aim for the limbs!" We all attacked as a group. And let me tell you, six people attacking sure makes things easy. I let out a sigh of relief as the blue heart went flying up into the night sky. That's when i heard clapping.
"Nicely done boys and girls." I tensed, i knew that voice. A man in a black cloak had appeared, and as he approached, he lowered his hood, revealing red hair and bright green eyes.
"But you know, you'll only cause more trouble for yourselves if you keep on taking out heartless left and right like that." He looked up, than cursed under his breath.
"Oh and by the way, the names Axel. A-X-E-L. Got it memorized?"

He opened a dark portal, and disappeared. That's when we noticed that Kairi and Riku were gone. Sora and I called out their names, but got no response.
"Damnit.." Sora never cursed before, so i could tell he was scared for them.
"Uh, were they friends of yours?" I smiled, Goofy always stated the obvious. Sora nodded, as I placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry Sora. Their strong. I'm sure they'll be fine."
"You know, since we found you we need to find our king. If you come with us, maybe we can find them." Donald was a manipulative little duck, but he had a point. That was when Leon arrived.
"Guys, go with them, especially if you want to find Your friends." Yuffie nodded behind him. Sora smiled, some of his normal attitude back.
"Ok, why not. We'll go with you guys." They smiled, placing their hands next to Sora's

    "Donald Duck."
    "Names Goofy."
    "I'm Sora."
    "And I'm Christie."
"All for one and one for all."

    ----------------------------
"I can't believe the girl was able to keep us from the Princess of Heart from us!"

"Calm yourself Hook! Just because she was able to keep both the Princess and the boy from us, does not mean that she has won. After all, we have the keyblade masters weakness with us now." A beam of light had appeared near the table next to the villains. Inside, Kairi was holding on to a snarling Riku's arm.
    --------------------------

After we had been healed, and stocked up on supplies, Aerith, Yuffie and Leon saw us off.
"Remember, keep your chins up, kids. If you look hard enough, you'll find your friends." Leon was more optimistic than he was in the game, but then again, besides Ellone, it wasn't known he had a sister. Aerith walked toward us, handing a pouch with tinkling coins to Sora.

"This is from all of us. Use it as you see fit."

    She handed me a bottle.
"And this is from Leon." We waved goodbye as they walked of, Yuffie running ahead. We turned towards the doors, as Donald and Goofy gave us technique scrolls teaching us the Fire spell and Dodge roll, respectivley. I sighed, looking back at the town before walking out after Sora. I just hope we can find Kairi and Riku before things get out of hand.

(smiles) Thanks, all of you. Hehe, here's chapter 5. (I've got up to chapter 9 all typed up)

Disclaimer: The KH franchise Belongs to Squeenix and Disney. Christie Belongs to me.

    -----

I sigh as i watch Traverse Town fade into the distance. Riku and Kairi should have been here with us, not heck knows where. I can see Donald and the chipmunks talking about something or other, but my mind is elsewhere. I start as i fell someone tapping my shoulder.

"Sora told me about your allergies, so I made ya this." I smile as I take the mug of hot milk from Goofy.

"You know, Donald and I are lookin for someone to. If we lose hope to find him, he might as well have died. Leon told ya not to loose hope, so just keep your chin up. We'll find them." To think, the whole time that were going to be on this adventure, I'll be keeping an eye on these guys. I smile at Goofy, nodding.

"Wheres Sora?" I look around, noting the lack of brown spikes.

"He's sleepin in one of the cabins, said he was tired." I smile sadly. Sora dosen't want to show it, but I know that he's really sad.

"Get Sora up! We're at a world!" I jump at Donald's squawk, putting the mug down as i stand.

"No need to get me up, I'm already here." Sometimes, Sora manages to surprise me, but in a good way. The four of us walk to the hatch, and I wince as I see the tunnel that leads to Wonderland. I bite my lip, jumping off feet first, ponytail flying behind me. I can hear Donald push Goofy of the ship as Sora jumps behind me. The tunnel is longer then the game portrays, so it takes a while. Goofy ends up falling asleep on the way down. I try to wake him up before we hit the ground, but it's to late. I wince at the crash, then look up as the white rabbit runs past us in quite a huff. I shake my head, gesturing to the boys to follow me. In the upside down room, we see the rabbit go through the small door. Sora walked up to the door, crouching next to it.

"How did he get so small?

"No, you're simply to big." We all jumped back, surprised at the fact the doorknob spoke. It yawns, then almost falls back asleep .

"Wait! How do we get small?"

"Use the bottles?" After it says this, it falls back asleep as a table rose from the floor, two small bottles on top. As the boys walked to the table, i pushed the bed away so we'd have an entrance, then winced as I shrunk. Apparently the bottles medicine affects the whole party. The boys jump down from the table, and I lead the way into the queen's court. We all stopped at the entrance.

"Chris, what's going on?" I tilted my head towards Sora.

"I think it's some kind of trial. And the girl facing the chubby woman must be the one that's being accused." I raised my head as the queen said to decapitate Alice. We all ran into the court as Sora jumped in front of Alice, shielding her from view as I faced the queen.

"I'm very sorry to interrupt your most humble court, Your Majesty, but this girl could not have tried to steal your heart." She looks at me questioningly and I take a deep breath.

"Your Majesty, i have had experience with these heart stealing creatures, and I know that this girl is nowhere near strong enough to steal the heart of someone in your stature. Without experience in stealing hearts, it is near impossible to steal one such as yours, and this girl looks to innocent." I guess i should have kept my big mouth shut at that point, cause the queen basically exploded at us.

"And what if it's you who tried to steal my heart!" I grimaced as she shouted in our faces. Even some of the card soldiers ducked.

"With no evidence in the contrary, I can understand Your Majesty's accusation. But with no proof, there is also no reason to hold Alice or my comrades and myself." She snorted, fanning herself.

"Very well. Until evidence is found declaring the innocence of both Alice and yourselves, i will hold someone from both parties." I jumped, this hadn't happened in the game!

    "I'll stay."

"Sora! Are you crazy!?" He shook his head, one of his trademark grins on his face.

"I trust you guys. You'll find a way." I nodded, pushing Donald and Goofy towards the door leading to the forest. I bit my lip as they passed through the door, turning to see Alice and Sora talking together. Sora saw me looking, and waved us on. Now i know why Kairi likes this guy so much. Always keeps his head up in situations like this. Once inside the forest, i stuck my tongue out.

"Ugh, i hate sucking up to royalty. Their just a bunch of people with power." I sighed, waving to Donald and Goofy to follow me into the forest. I'm NOT going into detail about finding those boxes, mostly because it didn't take more then twenty minutes. Back in the court, Sora was on the stand, while Alice was still in her cage.

"Your majesty, we have the evidence." Sora smiled as Donald shouted to the queen. I put the four pink boxes in front of the queen.

"Very well. Guards, bring forth the evidence!" A black spade card placed a box with ours, then shuffled them. I started as the queen shouted at me again, placing Donald and Goofy on the stand with Sora.

"You, girl, choose which box you'll present."

"What!? After all that work!?" She glared back at me, pointing her fan at Sora. A guard dragged him off the stand, placing his spear on the boys neck.

"Either you choose which box will be the evidence, or your friend loses his head." I snarled, but nodded tightly, pointing to the center box. I popped open in a puff of grey smoke, and when the smoke faded away, a soldier heartless was revealed. The queen pressed herself against the back of her chair, apparently scared out of her wits.

"What was that!?" I rolled my eyes, pointing at the place the heartless had been.

"That was a heartless. They steal peoples hearts. I don't know why they'd want yours, but apparently they do!" The queen growled.

"Guards! Off with their Heads!" Sora elbowed the guard in the gut, jumping away as Donald and Goofy covered his back. A tower had popped up in the grass nearby as Alice's cage was lifted up above the queens head.

"Sora! Attack the tower!" The boy nodded as i jumped around cards, daggers hilts clocking them over the heads. I didn't want to hurt them, so i needed to stop the queen from shouting out orders.

"Stop!" I shouted, dagger on the queens neck.

"If any of you card makes a move on one of my friends, your queen dies!" I turned to Sora.

"Sora, get Alice now." The boy nodded, destroying the tower. As the cage lowered, i noticed out of the corner of my eye a dark flash, with Alice disappearing into it. I sheathed my daggers, jumping back down to the ground, pushing cards out of the way. This was my chance to find RIku and Kairi. As i ran, i passed Goofy. He smiled, nodding. The look in his eyes said he'd look after Sora. I managed to jump into the portal just before it disappeared. Once inside, i looked around.

"That was a stupid move kid." I tensed, turning in the direction of Axel's voice.

"Yeah, but I've always been headstrong." He laughs, lowering his hood, and extending his hand.

"Come on, I'll help you find your friends. But first, i need to know your name." I smirked slightly, slapping the tips of his fingers.

    "It's Christie."

    ------

Sorry it seems rushed, i'm still not sure on this one. So, any thoughts?

(smiles) Thanks CutieBabyNY. To tell you the truth, i wasn't expecting such good responses. Here's Chapter 6

    ---
I sigh as I follow Axel through the Realm of Darkness. It's strange, there's not a trace of any type of path in here, but Axel seems to know where it is we're going. I hope. He stops, and I bump into his back.

"This is the place." I tilt my head at him, and he laughs at my expression.

"In this place, the portal to the world your friends are on will hold the longest." He extends a hand, palm out. At his command, a dark portal opens. He pushes me through it.

"I'll be waiting for you to come back through. If you're not back here by the end of the day, I'm coming after you."

"Wait, end of the day?" I didn't really have time to say much else, cause he pushed me through the portal and i ended up landing face down in Hollow Bastions water filled dungeon. I stood, moving wet hair out of my face and muttering to myself about killing a certain pyromaniac. I look around, trying to find a way out of this chamber, jumping as a gunshot sounds from the left. I turn, noting a passageway where sunlight is coming from. I run outside, wincing as a second gunshot rings through the air, and I jump off the balcony, drawing my daggers from the sheathes as I hit the water. I look towards where the gunshots came from, and am surprised to see a man in a red cloak being pinned down by a Darkball. I stared, two words slipping past my lips.

"Vincent Valentine." I threw my dagger like a boomerang, throwing a fist into the air as the darkball was sliced in half. I smirked as the dagger returned to me, watching as Vincent stood, grabbing his gun from the floor. He sighed, then looked in my direction, garnet eyes narrowed. He shook his head, a ghost of a smile dancing on his pale face.

"I see you're still alive." I nodded, already walking towards the iceberg platforms that would lead to the upper area.

"Same goes to you, Vincent." He snorted, as he pushed me up one of the platforms.

"How are the others?" I could hear the worry behind his tone, so i didn't look at him as i answered

"Nii-San, Aeris, Cid, Cloud and Yuffie are fine. And so was Kairi the last time i saw her. I don't know about the others though."

"The last time you saw her?" I nodded as the bubbles transported us towards the front gate. When we arrived, i explained to him what had happened.

"Yeah. Both she and our friend Riku were taken by Maleficent two days ago. I came looking for them." I sighed as i jumped from platform to platform, smiling slightly as i noticed that the main doors were open. If only things could always work out like this. We entered the great hall, and i stared sadly at the fact that this once beautiful castle had fallen into such disrepair. I walked up the stairs towards the door at the end of the hall, only to discover that it was locked. I huffed.

"Great. Just great. I finally get here, only to discover that the only way into the castle chapel is locked, and the key is gone." Vincent chuckled behind me, and i whirled on him, jaw clenched.

"And just what is so damn funny?" He walked over to the door, placing a hand just above the emblem of Hollow Bastion.

"The key is to slow down intruders." I glared, but didn't say anything. As we fought our way up to the Castle Chapel, i watched Vincent fight. And i can tell you, do not get in his way when he's on the offensive. Once we reached the Chapel, i winced as i saw what was left of the table that Maleficent must have watched us out of. Apparently someone had quite the fit. I looked around the area, noting the scorch marks interspersed around the walls and floor. The door leading to the great hall is open, so Vincent and I ran through it. At the great hall, Kairi was crouching in a corner, hiding behind some rubble that must have fallen from the ceiling, face a mask of concentration as she cast spells at the heartless in the area.

"Kairi! Thank goodness." Her face lit up when she saw me, and she ran to us.

"You're okay, right?" She nodded, then she looked back towards the area where the keyhole would be.

"Riku's up there. Last I saw, he was fighting some witch named Maleficent." I looked up, then ran off, shouting to Vincent over my shoulder

"Vincent, take Kairi to where we met up! Tell a man called Axel that i'll need a little more time!" He nodded, and led Kairi out of the area as i ran up the stairs, dodging around the Heartless on the way, slashing through the ones i couldn't dodge. When i reached the platform, i gasped in surprise. Riku was on the ground, Soul Eater having been thrown from his hands. Maleficent's staff tip on his neck.

"You foolish boy. You should never have challenged me." Riku snarled at her.

"Yeah. I guess i shouldn't have. But i don't regret it." Maleficent raised her hand, black magic appearing in her palm.

"Since you are no longer of use to me, i think i'll eliminate you." Riku closed his eyes, and I'd had enough

"Get away from him!" I threw my dagger at her, and she cancelled her spell raising her staff to defend herself, and she reeled back from the clang of metal on metal. Riku was quick on his feet, jumping for Soul Eater. I moved to grab his hand, and we took off running. After we left the great hall area, we stopped for a second. He looked at me, a smile on his face. I smiled back, grabbing his hand again. We ran back through the castle, slashing heartless on the way down. Once we had reached Rising falls, and had jumped into the transport bubble, I pulled him close.

"I was so worried about you two." He shook his head in my hair, squeezing me tightly.

"it's okay. Both Kairi and I are fine. Aside from the occasional bruise here and there." I pushed away, and we keep running towards the crystals that controlled the platforms leading to the balcony. Once that platforms were out of the wall, we jumped up them and entered the dungeon to see Vincent and Kairi standing there. I tilted my head, confused as to why they were still there.

"You're friend Axel has yet to arrive." I nod, then turn quickly as a dark portal opens behind me, Axel gesturing to us to enter. I push Kairi and Riku through, then turn to Vincent.

"Do you want me to tell Yuffie anything?" He starts walking for the balcony, but at the last moment, he turns and says,

"Just tell her I'm alright. Tell her to move on." I nod, and walk through the portal after my friends, for the long journey back to safety.

(giggle slightly) Thanks. Here's Chapter 7. Oh, and if your confused about ANYTHING in my story, don't hesitate to send me a PM, ok?

Disclaimer: The KH franchise belongs to Squeenix and Disney. Christie belongs to me. AS does the Infinity, so NO stealing, please.

    ----

We hadn't been traveling for long through the dark back to Traverse Town when Kairi had collapsed to her knees all of a sudden, clutching her chest. Axel stopped, waiting as Riku and I ran to her side. Riku laid her down, burgundy hair mixing with navy blue cloth.

"Kairi, what's wrong?" She swallowed thickly, and shook her head.

"I don't know. My heart hurts." I bit my lip. This wasn't right at all. It was then that a light came out of Kairi's chest. She went rigid, then, as if she had become a boneless doll, went slack in Riku's hold. He shook her, but got no response. Axel exhaled.

"This can't be good." I turned, a 'no **** sherlock' look on my face.

"I don't get it. What just happened?" I looked at Riku, noting the sadness in his eyes.

"She just lost her heart." He looked at me in surprise.

"Lost her Heart!?" Axel walked to us, taking Kairi's listless form from Riku. He looked at me, nodding. I took a deep breath and stood, offering my hand to the boy.

"Sometimes, when Heartless attack people, they take the hearts of people they attack. Often, those hearts get taken over by the darkness, becoming heartless themselves. But sometimes, if there's enough light in a persons heart, that persons heart will go to to the person that they were closest to. " He looked at me like i was mad. I shook my head, rolling my eyes as I walked over to where Axel was standing. I stopped, looking over my shoulder at him.

"I know it sounds crazy, but it happens. Now come on. I am not going to tell Sora what happened on my own." I saw him shake his head out of the corner of my eye, but he followed Axel and I through the portal back to Traverse Town regardless.

    -----

We arrived in the abandoned house in the third district. Axel placed Kairi on the bed, then left via a dark portal, leaving Riku and I to our devices. I bit my lip as i sat on the table, drawing my knees up to my chest as Riku sat on the bed next to Kairi. He turned to face me.

"Will she wake up?" I shook my head, eyes looking at the ground.

"Theres a chance that she will, but in the worst case scenario, Riku, she'll stay like that forever." He looked back at her, a sad look in his eye. I jumped off the table, moving to look out the window.

"But is there a way to get her heart back?" I turned to look at him, and shrugged.

"I don't really know. I know that Kairi's heart is too strong to become a heartless, but it could be anywhere by now." I jumped back and he stood as the door flew open. Sora ran through, slamming the door behind him as he collapsed to his knees. He looked up at us, then it seemed to click in his head that it was us. He jumped up, a huge grin on his face.

"Riku, Christie! You're alright!" I smiled slightly as Riku smirked at him. But then he seemed to notice that Kairi wasn't there. He looked around.

"Where's Kairi?" I grimaced. This was going to be tricky to explain. Riku shook his head, then stepped aside, allowing Sora to see Kairi's prone form on the bed. He ran to her side, placing a hand on her cheek.

    "What happened to her?"

"While we were traveling back here, she collapsed. A light flew out of her chest, and she's been like that ever since." I looked a Riku, a look of surprise on my face. HE shook his head out of Sora's view. I nodded as he placed a hand on the younger boys shoulder.

"Come on. We should go and find it." Sora stood, looking back at Kairi's still form as we exited the small house for the third district. On the way back through the second district, i was thinking about what we were going to do.

'Since Kairi lost her heart, it means that this story must be trying to get back along the time line. Which means that RIku and I can't stay here with Sora' I stopped walking, looking down at the ground.

"Boys." They turned, looking at me. I inhaled deeply.

"We need to split up" I moved to the railing that overlooked the plaza below us, unable to look at them. I heard two pairs of footsteps, but didn't look up.

"Christie, what are you talking about?" I looked at the keyblade hanging from Sora's waistband, then back at the plaza.

"Sora, that keybalde has painted one of the biggest bulls eyes known to humankind onto your back. You don't need Riku and I to add to it." The boys looked at me in surprise, and i pushed of the railing, to look towards the large double doors facing the First District.

"Chris, what's going on?" I looked at Riku.

"Riku, Maleficent needs you for a reason, and I know to much." I raised a hand, staving off Sora's questions.

"I can't explain now, spike. It's too complicated. Regardless, if you, Riku and I travel together, the chances that we'll all end up six feet under multiply at least ten-fold. And if that happens, who's gonna help Kairi?" Sora looked like he wanted to protest, but he nodded. Riku on the other hand...

"I don't think it's a good idea. Larger groups equal safety." I crossed my arms, shaking my head at him.

"Riku, there is no choice. If we travel together, Sora's figurative bulls eye will only get bigger. That makes the risk that he ends up like Kairi even greater. Safety in numbers dosen't really work out when your enemies pop out of the floor now does it?" He opened and closed his mouth like a fish, then huffed a bit.

"Fine." I nodded, then took the boys hands, and led them through the double doors. An hour later, Riku and I were seeing Sora off. I handed him Kairi's supply bag.

"Take this Sora. I have a feeling that Kairi would have wanted you to have it." He took the bag from me, and then ran up the loading ramp onto his ship. I looked up as he was waving goodbye from one of the windows, then nudged Riku. He looked to were i was pointing, then shook his head, smirking.

"Talk about ironic. He did win the race after all. Now, what are we going to do?" I smiled, then ran back to the third district, with him om my heels. Once we had reached the abandoned plaza, I stopped and turned to him.

"During the Heartless invasion nine years ago, the survivors of Hollow Bastion were evacuated via Gummi Ships. But a few were left behind during the confusion. Now, i talked to Cid, and it tuns out that the Infinity was left behind." He tilted his head at me, confused.

"The Infinity is a Falcon Peak Class, one of the fastest ship classes ever designed. With a ship that fast, no barriers will matter, because it'll just shred them into wet paper. Not to mention the fact that it has an AI program that can rival the best fighter pilots around."

    "AI Program?" I nodded, smiling.

"Artificial Intelligence. It means that it can literally pilot itself through a meteor shower and come out scot free." He nodded, but then looked up to the small house. I stepped forward, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"If you're worried about Kairi, she's safe now. I told Nii-san what happened, and Aerith and Yuffie are taking care of her now at the hotel. She'll be fine." He nodded, then jumped as a dark portal opened from the wall next to the fountain.

"There you two are! I've been looking all over for you."

"Axel, what's the matter?" He shook his head, grabbing Riku and I and dragging us through the portal.

"It's Maleficent! She's sending heartless after the keyblade master. I can't stop her on my own, so you two need to give me a hand." I looked a Riku as we crossed the portals threshold. We nodded to him, and we took off running after him. I can only hope that my being here hasn't ruined everything.

    -----

And that's the end of Chapter Seven. So, had anyone figured out that last line from chapter three yet? Come on guys, it's easy!

(smirks) Thanks. Chapter eight, for your reading pleasure.

    ----

We had arrived at Hollow Bastions main gate after Axel had led us through the realm of darkness. I snarled as i noticed that the main door was closed.

"Great. Now we'll have to go through the dungeons to get this stupid thing open." I pushed Riku ahead of me as Axel opened a portal and disappeared. I rolled my eyes.

"Well, that's a nice way to start off an alliance Pyro. Run off when we need help." On our way down to the dungeons, I kept an eye out for Vincent, but there was no sign of him. Once we had arrived in the dungeons entrance, i unsheathed one of my daggers.

"Okay, to get the main door open again, a switch has to be triggered. But there are barriers that block the way to that switch. Follow me so far?" He nodded.

"Good. Now to open the barriers, another set of switches must be triggered in sequential order. If one switch is triggered out of order, the whole thing resets. I'll try and get the switches on, but you need to wait here. I'll be back in a little." He extended a hand, wanting to protest, but didn't move after me as i ran down towards the first crystal. One i had lost sight of him, i leaned against the wall and sighed. Everything was getting out of hand. My being here has really fudged things up, and i don't know what I'm doing. I mean, i know now that i was born here, but in the grand scheme of things, i never should have never met Riku, Sora and Kairi. I know that stopping Xehanort's Heartless was going to be hard, but I've got to try. I pushed those thoughts from my mnid, focusing on opening the gates. When i reached the main crystal, i nearly screamed as a hand was placed over my mouth.

"You scare much to easily Christina." He let go, and i glared at him, thoroughly pissed off. I didn't say anything, but triggered the final crystal, covering my ears as the gears turned back into place loudly. I shook my head at the gunman, then jumped off the platform, waiting for him before i triggered the first of the barrier crystals. Once i triggered the last one, i covered my eyes as sunlight streamed into the dungeons. I smiled as i saw Riku still waiting at the entryway, and grabbed his hand as all three of us ran back up to the main gates. Once we got up there, i checked my supply pouch, nodding to myself as i took a mental count of the potions and ethers i had inside. Riku surprisingly took the lead into the massive castle, while i covered the rear of our impromptu group. Once inside, we ran up to the main door at the top off the stairs, then through the various passages. When we reached the area of the castle that housed the bedrooms, Vincent stopped. I turned to him, a look of concern on my face.

"What's wrong?" He shook his head, waving us on. I sighed, hesitating before nodding and walking after Riku into one of the rooms, only to stop as i took in the lavender wallpaper and the painted ceiling. I felt my legs carry me to the dust covered bed, as Riku walked to the dresser to the left of the door. I collapsed onto the bed, head cradled in my hands. I felt Riku's hand on my shoulder.

"This was my room, before the invasion." I looked up, still unsure of my own memories. That's when i noticed the small sparkle on the dresser. I stood, walking towards it. I smiled as i dusted the small object off, memories flooding back.

It was my third birthday. I was laughing while a four year old Yuffie was tickling me like there was no tomorrow. Squall was sitting on a chair nearby, holding a small, silver wrapped box.

"Yuffie. Do you want her to choke to death?" The older girl shook her head, and jumped off of my younger form. I laid on my back, catching my breath as Nii-San walked over to me. I sat up, as he kneeled in front of me, placing the box on my lap.

"I was going to give this to you when you were older, but i figured that now's just fine." I smiled as i gently undid the silver paper around the box, then opened the round box, only to gasp in surprise as the small beads inside, all inscribed with undecipable symbols. I gently set the box dow, and jump at my older brother, small arms encircling his neck.

"Thank you Nii-san!" He stood, spinning me around like i weighed nothing. Once he stopped moving, he set me down, and haded me a small, shell shaped box.

"Use this to hold them. Remember Christie, summon tokens only work once, so be careful." I nodded at him, and Yuffie, Squall and I walked out of the room.

"Chris? You okay?" I nodded to the boy, and popped the box open. There were only two beads left inside, but they were the most powerful of the summons, so it didn't matter.

"Bahamut and Odin." I looked up at Vincent in the doorway, nodding to him as i returned the beads to the box. I tucked the box into my pocket for later use, then pushed Riku out the door as i shut it behind me, effectively shutting those memories away. We continued up the castle, working our way up the hanger. Once we were there, i winced at the fact that the metal door leading into it from the castle was locked tight. That's when i noticed the Leonhart crest next to the door, along with the Highwind crest. I gasped, then walked over to the crests. I bit into my thumb, drawing blood, then rubbing my bleeding digit over the crest of Griever. A mechanical voice rang out over the area.

"Access granted. Genetic gode: Christina Michelle Leonhart." I sighed around my thumb, then pulled the door open gesturing for Vincent and Riku to follow me through. Once inside, we were greeted by Axel.

"Quite a ship, isn't she?" I rolled my eyes, not bothering to answer. I just walked down to the ships door. Once inside the lights came on, with another Leonhart and Highwind crest on the door to the cockpit. I rubbed my still bleeding thumb over the crest, and smiled as the ship came to life again. I sat in the dusty captains seat, throwing switches as the boys entered behind me. That's when a voice rang out over the ships corridors.

"Well, it's been a long time since I've someone inside this old interior of mine. Welcome back Christina." I smiled as Axel and Riku started, while Vincent kept trying to get the engines started.

"I'd stop doing that Mr. Valentine." I stifled a giggle behind my hand as he jumped. I stood, pulling open a small panel in the floor in between the seats. I pulled the cord that showed itself between the visible machinery. There was a sound of turning gears, then the AI program, Infinity, sighed.

"Ah, feels good to have those Auto-Regens back online. Thank you Christina." I smiled, then left the ship. I heard Riku start ot run after me, and turned around to face him, already up the stairs.

"It'll take a little while for the engines to be repaired enough to actually leave the atmosphere, and i need to check something in the research labs nearby. Vincent, let's go." The gunman nodded, and left the ship. I turned to Riku again, extending my hand to him.

"Come one, there's something you need to see. Axel, stay here." The redhead nodded, and Vincent, Riku and I walked towards the Research Lab, where Vincent unlocked the doors with the small crest hanging off his gun. That's when i felt Riku's questioning look on my back. I pulled him inside the labs, and then activated the computers near the entrance while Vincent wandered off somewhere.

"Okay. What do you want to know Riku?"

"Those marks in the walls, the ship, this, everything. What's going on?" I smirked at him, showing a fisted hand and raising a finger with every question i answered

"One. Those marks are crest locks. Hollow Bastion was both monarchy and democracy. The Monarchy ruled this castle, while the Democracy ruled the town below. Two. The ship we just left is the Infinity, the ship i told you about back in Traverse town. Three. This is the research lab, where Ansem was researching the Heartless. If i can figure out his encryption codes, i can figure out what happened nine years ago." While most of the answers i gave him seemed to click, the last one just soared over his head. I smiled.

"Never mind. Just know that the important stuff is locked, and i'll need to literally blow the door open to get at it." He nodded, then we both winced at the sound of Vincent screaming. I sighed sadly as i logged onto the system.

"He must have found Lucrecia's data recorder." I worked through the immense amount of data, transferring the more important files to the Infinity's system, so i could crack them on the way back to Traverse Town. A few hours later, Riku was laying on the small couch next to the wall, sound asleep. Vincent had returned to the front area, and was standing near the door, examining the Valentine crest hanging off of his gun. I stopped my typing for moment, and looked at him.

"You know fiddling with that thing won't change the fact your the last of the Valentines, or the fact that Lucrecia's dead. Nothing can change the past or raise the dead Vincent, you and I know that better then anyone."

"You think i don't realize that? I know she's gone. I can't change that. No one can bring her back to us." I nodded to him, then resumed my search for the single file i needed. The file on Organization XIII. I kept transferring files to the Infinity, and it wasn't till an hour later that Riku woke up to see both Vincent and I staring at the computer screen in shock.

"Guys? What's the matter?" I shook my head in shock and complete disgust as i transferred the file we were reading to the ship, and then shut off the computer, wincing as my back cracked when i stood.

"Nothings wrong. Let's get back to the ship. There's a lot i need to explain, but I'd rather do this once, instead of twice." He stood, and we left the lab. Halfway back to the hanger, a dark portal arose in front of us. We all tensed, weapons drawn.

"I'm afraid i can't let you leave, Christina." Riku and I snarled.

"Maleficent! I don't care what your big plan is, but we'll stop you!" She cackled, and shook her head.

"My dear girl, the first step of my plan is already in effect." I heard a clang, and turned to face Riku. I gasped in shock as i noticed that his aqua eyes had glazed over, and were starting to turn into a shade of burnt orange that uncannily resembled Ansem and Xehanort. He walked to her, turning to face us.

"Leave while you still can, or you'll be force to fight the boy you love." I growled at the witch, daggers unsheathed. As i started to run to attack her, Vincent pulled on my shirt.

"Christina! We should leave." I shook my head, furious

"I'm not leaving him in her hands." He sighed, returning his gun to it's sheath, then threw me over his shoulder, walking toward the hanger. I didn't scream or kick on the way, but i could have sworn that Riku's eyes flashed with tears as i lost sight of him. Once inside the Infinity, Vincent set me down. The larger entry way to the hanger was opening, and i could hear the engines start up. I swallowed thickly, sheathing my daggers.

"Infinity. Set a course for a world called Traverse Town. Take the fastest route possible."

"Understood Christina. Mr. Valentine, I'd suggest that you sit down, to avoid falling." Axel was snoring in one of the four passenger chairs, so Vincent sat in the Co-Pilot's chair, while i took the captains chair.

    "Infinity, estimated arrival time?"

"Eight hours, Mr. Valentine. Get some rest" I sighed, then drew my legs up for the long flight back. I had a lot of data to sort through, but I'd do it later. Right now, i needed to get some sleep.

(chuckles) Sorry, didn't mean to shell shock him. Heres the final update for today, chapter 9.

Disclaimer: Ok, last time i'm saying this. The KH franchise belongs to Squeenix and Disney, Christie belongs to me.

    ----

I sniffed quietly, trying not to awaken to two older men in the Infinity. I shook my head; no amount of laying in a ball in the Captains seat would allow me to sleep, not with so much running through my head.

"Screw this; I can't sleep now." I pushed myself up, quietly walking to the data terminal near the back of the ship. I logged onto the system, and started going through the files I had transferred from the Hollow Bastion mainframe. I turned as I heard an odd sound, smiling as a holographic moogle jumped up onto the chair arm.

"You should be resting, Christie. It won't do you any good if you're too tired to help your friends tomorrow." I rubbed my eyes as I read through the reports Xehanort's heartless had written under Ansem's name.

"I know that, Infinity, but I just can't fall asleep." The moogle, Infinity, tilted her head.

"And why is that? I can never understand you humans." I sighed, looking away from the screen as a map program opened.

"Because Infinity, I'm worried about what I should do." I looked back to the screen, entered various key words and search parameters, and looked for three worlds. Infinity floated in front of the screen, with small arms crossed over her torso.

"Captain Highwind once told me that you inherited your fathers reckless streak, along with your mothers passion for protecting her friends even at a young age. Just follow your instincts, and everything will be fine." I turned to face the cockpit, smirking at the tired looking Vincent.

"Chaos acting up again?" He nodded, stumbling slightly as he walked toward me. I turned back to the console, smiling as I found Destiny Islands on the map of worlds. We would be able to go home, if the dark portal was not opened after the first fight with Xemnas next year. I entered the second set of search parameters as I turned to Vincent while Infinity was talking to him. After all that has happened, I still do not remember everything about the life I once had in Hollow Bastion. It is all I can do, to just keep the few memories that I've got. I looked at the screen as the search results were displayed, and I clenched my jaw.

"Infinity." The moogle turned to me, head tilted.

    "How accurate is this database?"

"It contains every single known world and galaxy, at least, up until the invasion. Why do you ask?" I stood, walking stiffly towards the wall near one of the windows. As the view hatch of the window opened, I punched the wall.

"DAMN IT!" Both Vincent and Infinity started as my shoulders heaved with anger. I fell to my knees, head leaning against the cool walls. I felt a gloved hand on my shoulder, and looked at the hand out of the corner of my eyes, recognizing Vincents pale skin. I pushed his hand away, standing. I bit my lip.

"Vincent, do you know what happened to Kairi and I during the invasion?" He nodded.

"You were both captured by Defenders. By the time Squall or I was able to get there, you were both gone." I moved back towards the console and entered the last set of parameters. I hoped that the world I was searching for wouldn't be there.

"Kairi was sent to Riku's home world, Destiny Islands. I was sent to a world called Earth. The thing is, according to Infinity's Database, Earth no longer exists." I sighed, leaning my head in my hands.

"How many people were supposed to live there?" I turned to face the Moogle, eyes watering.

"Six billion. Six billion people, gone." We all turned at the loud beeping coming from the data terminal, and my eyes opened wide. I went slack in the chair, an unbelieving look having come over my face.

"I don't believe this. He's already started." I turned away from the data screen, showing a very small heart shaped moon over a stormy city. A white castle was nearing completion over said city, the moons amber glow tinting the castle a pale yellow.

"The World That Never Was..." I stood, walking towards the passenger chair that Axel was sleeping in, only to find that it was empty.

"If you're wondering where he went, the young man disappeared an hour ago." Infinity had floated up alongside me, a look on the face of her avatar that resembled a pout, if a computerized program was allowed to pout. I turned to face her, an eyebrow raised in question.

"How much longer until we reach Traverse Town?" That's when the ship shook in something I'd come to know as a landing gesture. I turned to the giggling moogle, a glare on my face.

"Not a word." The hatch of the ship opened, and I winced as I heard cursing coming from one Cid Highwind.

"Damn kids, flying in the middle of the night. Some of us are trying to sleep around here, dammit!" I walked towards the hatch, wincing as I hit the ground when Cid and I bumped into each other. Cid managed to catch himself on the hatch frame, cursing. He entered the ship as I pushed myself up from the ground. He didn't seem to notice where he was until Infinity's holographic moogle form floated up to his ear and shouted.

"CAPTAIN HIGHWIND!" I choked back a laugh as Cid jumped at least three feet into the air, surprised at Infinity shouting in his ear. Vincent chuckled behind me, and I walked over to Cid, offering my hand to the man. He took it, and I pulled him up with some effort. He dusted himself off, looking around. When his eyes fell on Vincent, they widened. He shook his head, rubbing tired blue eyes. He looked at me, mouth slightly open. I raised a hand to stave off any questions, nodding. He walked past me, placing a hand on Vincents red covered shoulder as I walked down the hatch, leaving the men and Infinity to catch up. I left the hangar for the first district, nodding to Yuffie as I passed her on the way to the second district. Once there, I noted the lack of heartless and moved down towards the plaza to sit on one of the benches, head in hands. I don't know how long I'd been sitting there before i heard someone sit beside me, then felt this person place a warm hand on my back.

"Vincent told me what happened to Riku. I'm here if you want to talk about it, Nee-Chan" I leaned into Leons embrace, tears starting to make a return appearance. We sat there for a while before i wiped my eyes, smiling at him before standing. I took a deep breath.

"Is Sora in town?" I heard him stand, belts creating a sound that reminded me of home's better days. He gestured at me to follow him, and we walked up the stairs into the hotel.

"He arrived about five hours ago. He sealed the keyhole, and then came here. He's been with Kairi since then." Leon led me to the red room, and then stopped, opening the door and pushing me through. I licked my lips as I saw the sleeping Sora clutching at Kairi's still hand on the bed while Yuffie was sitting at the small table, also asleep. I walked over the Sora, gently shaking his shoulder. He raised his head, blinking sleep out of sky blue eyes. He smiled at me, teeth showing. I looked away, gesturing for him to follow me out onto the balcony. I pushed open the door, leaning on the small concrete wall before I let my hair cover my face.

"Whats the matter Christie? Why isn't Riku with you?" I winced, turning to look him in the eye. Questioning blue met sad hazel, and I bit my lip.
"I'm sorry Sora, but he's sided with the heartless for now. We were on our way back from Hollow Bastion, and we were ambushed. To allow us to get away safely, he stayed behind." He looked down into the alley, as if he was looking for Riku. I walked to him, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm not joking Sora. He's with the Heartless for now, but we'll get him back." He looked at me, and smiled. That's when it happened. We both jumped at Yuffie screams, and ran back inside the red room. When we got in there, a surprised shout escaped both Sora and I. Riku was standing at the side of the bed, Kairi's prone form in his arms while Yuffie was struggling to reach her shuriken on the table, pinned to the floor by a defender. Sora drew the Keyblade from his waistband, glaring at Riku slightly. I unsheathed my daggers, moving forward slowly. Riku turned away, smirking at us. He walked through the open dark portal, said portal closing behind him. Once he was gone the heartless disappeared. I ran to Yuffie, all the while watching Sora out of the corner of my eye. I helped the older girl stand, and she looked at me with a sad look on her face.

"I'm sorry Chrissy. They came out of nowhere, and I couldn't stop them." I shook my head, letting her know it was ok. Sora walked up to me, and I nodded to him. All three of us walked to the first district to talk with Nii-san. Once we got there, Yuffie gasped as she saw Vincent talking to Leon. She stiffened, walked forward two steps, and stopped as he turned. Their eyes met, and she ran forward, jumping on him, hand on his neck. Sora and I stepped forward, but a gesture from Leon stopped us.

"VINCENT VALENTINE! You sorry piece of trash! Why didn't you let us know you were alive?!" I winced as he pushed her off of him, coughing slightly.
"Because Yuffie. I knew you would react like this, and wanted to spare Leon the pain of getting bitten by you." I snorted, he had a point. Yuffie's bottom lip stuck out in a pout as Leon pulled Vincent up. She jumped him again, hugging him around the middle.

"I missed you, you know? I missed having a sparring partner that would actually spar." She glared at Leon as she said that, and he rolled his eyes. Yuffie grabbed Vincent's glove hand, and dragged him off into Cid's shop. Sora went into the Item shop, saying something about getting Donald and Goofy. Leon shook his head, and put a hand on my shoulder.

"Want to spar?" I nodded, unsheathing my daggers. We moved down onto the lower area of the plaza, Leon unsheathing his gunblade while i moved my daggers into a defensive position. He smirked as I threw my daggers, dodging them on the fly by jumping aside. I ducked, running for my daggers before having to jump back to dodge flying shrapnel. I winced as I landed wrong, falling to my rear, I raised a hand, concentrating on making my dagger come to me, when I felt something shoot of my fingertips. I opened my eyes, surprised to see glowing blue string like appendages attaching themselves to the daggers hilts. I moved my hand, and the daggers followed the movement. I smiled, standing.

"Now your in it deep, Nii-san." I jumped back, landing on the railing of the upper level, hands outstretched as my fingers danced, sending my blades flying. He jumped aside, landing in a roll as I kept sending said blades after him. He jumped again, this time landing with a blade on his neck.

"Give up?" He nodded, and called my daggers back to me, and once they were near my hands, I clenched both hands into fists, severing the cords of energy. I re-sheathed them, jumping down into the plaza as Sora exited the Item Shop, Donald and Goofy in tow. I smiled as Leon stood, walking towards them. Leon followed us into the hanger, smiling slightly as he recognized the Infinity. Cid, Vincent and Yuffie were standing at the ships hatch, apparently waiting to see us off.

I turned to Nii-san as the boys walked up the ship, hugging him around the middle.
"Be careful, Nee-chan." I nodded as I ran up the hatch. Just before it closed, I shouted to him
"See you when we get back!" I turned at a loud squawk from Donald, blinking in surprise as i saw Infinity forcing him out of the captains chair.

"I already have a Captain, and she is not you!" Sora laughed behind his hand as i dragged him into the cockpit, plunking him down into the copilots chair.
"Sit. Watch those gauges. If anything falls below fifty percent, tell me." I sat in the captains chair, turning knobs and dials as a holographic map came up. I turned to Donald and Goofy.

"Buckle up boys, it's gonna be a bumpy ride. Sora, what's the last world you went to?" He turned away from his seat belt, looking at me.
"It was a world that we called Deep Jungle." He looked up surprised, undoing his seat belt to hand me a small pouch.
    "These are for you."

I took the pouch from him as Infinity set our course towards Agrabah, and I smiled slightly as i saw the twin butterfly and leaf keychains. I unshaathed my daggers with a little difficulty, and unclipped the Mickey Head Crests, slipping them into the small pouch. I clipped the Butterfly and Leaf chains onto my daggers, and they transformed in a flash of silver light. Once the light had faded, I twirled my daggers around, examining the changes. The hilt was made of bamboo, with vines that wrapped around said hilt, creating a handhold of types. The blade was also made of reinforced bamboo, small holes in the blade. I tilted my head, curious as to the reason there were holes in the blades

"The guy who gave those to me said he put a poison in the blade." I looked up at Sora, surprised. He raised his hands in a calming gesture. "Don't worry, he said it only works on Heartless." I smiled at him again, slipping my new daggers, the Jungle Queen, back into my sheathes a the Infinity took off from the Traverse Town hanger. Just before the ship did a whole spin to launch, I saw Leon smiling at us from the metal walkways. He gave a two finger salute to me, and I gave one back just before the ship took off, heading for the worlds, and the journey ahead.
