Kingdom Hearts, working in a Mall?

OOC: Ah! Near-To-Tears kind of stole my idea lol


Luxord was in the back storage area of his work, ready to start the day. The second floor Arcade wasn't the greatest place to be, but at least he was able to find work. Even if he ended up as the guy in the smelly costume outside the shop drawing customers in, he could look on the bright side that he could make as many faces at customers that he wanted. He was in the bottom half od the costume, and was ready to put on the other half, but he had some time to spare. Might as well wait.

Luxord saw that it was almost time for the mall to open. Only a few minutes before the opening of the mall. Even though it wasn't the grand opening, it was close to it, and there was still a lot of hype that the mall had opened. He put on the upper portion of his costume and his stupid duck head on. "Quazy Quak arQade. What kind of name is that anyway?" He wondered how anyone could thing of naming an arcade that name.

...What?

He walked outside the entrance of the arcade. Ready for the people. Too bad he was mostly attracting children into the arcade.

 

OOC: .__. People must not want to come back. >:

BIC: Namine reached the Office, seeing Axel waiting outside. His red hair sticking out of the bland walls of the Mall. She felt a smile pull at the corners of her mouth at his expression, putting her hands on her hips and looking up at the taller man.
"Beat me again, Axel?" She asked playfully.

Axel smirked to himself, getting up from his leaning stance against the wall.
"Like I always do..." He said cunningly, opening the door for her. He mentally smacked himself for his idiocy.

Yuffie approached the Mall's entrance, feeling the Butterflies in her stomach. She was always nervous at these sort of things. Of course she was working in the Flower Shop with Marluxia, but she thought of meeting new people to be exciting. She suddenly had a smile on her face, hopping through the Revolving Doors. She smiled, her eyes closed into the Mall's open lobby.

 

OOC: That's sad cause this was kind of cool. And it would be much better if people came on.

 

OOC: Opps! Sorry! Just got back from vacation and didnt see the posts right away! <=D

As Xion slowly made her way from the bus stop through the parking lot, all the way into the mall she was sick with the day. First, she thought she would be late since her alarm clock was 40 minutes ahead. Second, she had a terrible bed head that took forever to tame. Now she will have to deal with work knowing that she left the oven on at home. She sighed lightly as she finally got through the malls doors and in the lobby. Trying to wrap her mind around work, Xion scanned the lobby to see who made it to the mall before her.

 

Marluxia smirked slightly behind his stylised mess of hair and tossed it out of his face as he made his entrance to his new place of work, the mall. Striding out from the transparent gateway of the revolving door. Every pore on his body just oozed a strong self-confidence as he observed his surroundings.

 

Xion glances to the side at Marluxia, acknowledging him as she said in a small voice, "Good morning, Mar-Mar!~"

 

Riku walked in the mall. He needed some munny, so he was going to get a job. Unlike Demyx, who is grabbing a snack and chilling

 

At the slightly familiar sound of a young girl's voice who it turned out to be, once he'd looked down to see who it was, Xion's. He turned his gaze downwards and sighed, one of Axel and Roxas's friends.
"Hello Xion." He replied, at least making the effort to be polite for once.

 

Larxene strolled through the mall. It was rather quiet at the moment, which gave her less of a claustraphobic feeling that she usually got in crowds.
Working at the mall wasn't so bad. I mean, there is free stuff you can steal, scan, and not get caught doing so, isn't there? see. There is a bright side to this situation. she thought with a nod and a small smile. Even if the customers are either overweight slobs, impatient buissnes women, or stupid I-haven't-got-two-braincells teenagers, I get munny for it in the end.
Approaching her workstation, the Nymph looked up at the sports store. It was full of bright coloured shoes and tennis rackets and such, and had the faint smell of leather in the air.
"Well, here we go..." She mumbled, before stepping in through the revolving doors.


(OOC: gaaaiiissss. Sorry for not posting sooner! Was that okay? D: I had to type that out quick and I feel like I've done rubbish on it as an opening post.)

 

OOC: That's fine.

BIC: Namine felt as though Axel was too close, making her move over some. She approached the desk, being immediately handed flyers about an event happening tomorrow. She nodded, her eyes closed. She divided the huge stack by half, handing the other half to Axel, as she walked out the Office's Door. She tried not to, but her mind always fluttered off to her imagination, where she escape to, and Axel couldn't follow.

Axel walked out of the Office after Namine was out of site, as he snickered to himself about her behavior. Thinking he was annoying. Just wait... he thought towards Namine, knowing that she couldn't hear. She was already down the hallway, taking a right. So he thought of going to opposite way, to scheme of how to cut off her thoughts quickly if they saw eachother. He saw Larxene standing in the middle of the hallway in front of him, staring in the window of a sports store.
"Hey!" He yelled, waving with his free hand, making one or two flyers fall to the ground.

Yuffie slowly approched the stairs, not wanting to be her usual 'happy-go-lucky' mood. She was groggy from her early awakening, and she wanted to lay her head down. She sighed, as she held the banister.
"I so don't need this." She said in her childish voice.

 

Demyx saw Axel yelling "Hey!" and waved to him. He plopped his feet to the ground. He flew his body up from the chair and was now standing up. He knew Axel wasn't talking to him, he was just bored.


Riku was tying his shoe. His bangs facing the ground as his head hung. When he was done, he flew his head upright again. He looked at all the people and bit his lip

Xion just nodded with a small sigh of disapointment and continued on, with small strides, down the hall. As she glanced to her right she changed her route, leanning more right, because of Larxene standing right outside the sports store. Why does the perfume store have to be neighbors with the sport store? Xion wondered as she started to get closer to the two stores.

 

Luxord saw the gatherings downstairs. He leaned over the rail and took off his costume head. "Ahoy there! I best think you should get a move on before we open." He called out as he pointed over to the large clock above the central fountain of the mall.

OOC: I'm kind of scared with Luxord. I don't remember his personality much. I should play KH2 again.

 

Marluxia gave a disgruntled snort. How rude, he thought to himself as he watched the short-haired shortie that had just dismissed him with a pathetic excuse for a way to seem 'cool' walk away, you don't start a conversation then walk off you petulant little girl.

Once again Marluxia looked around with a toss of his magenta hair. Debating whether or not to just scrape in for his shift or arrive slightly early.

After a moment he reached a decision; he was going to go check in on Larxene at her new job before heading onto his own. After all, it was only polite to check on his 'partner in crime' and he had another ten minutes or so to kill.

With graceful speed he made his way towards the sports store Larxene had been talking about taking a job in. He slid elegantly through the revolving door and looked around with the gentle style that he was known for.

"Hey, Larxene? You in here?"
