Kingdom Hearts; The Peter Pan Edition.

OoC: I know. My post happened after Demyx left the room.

Axel opened his eyes again as he heard a splash of water not too far away.
"Great." he said, slowing getting off the hammock. "What's he up to this time?"
As Axel walk onto the deck, he saw Demyx swimming away from the ship.
"What?!" he whispered to himself. "No one abandons ship. Not even with a captain as lousy as Xemnas. You're gonna get back here, water boy, whether you like it or not."
With an evil grin on his face, Axel began shooting fireballs into the water. They landed like bombs and were after Demyx.

Sora saw fireballs being shot from the ship and immediately needed to aware everyone.
"FIRE!!!!" he shouted, beginning to fly towards the ship with keyblade in hand.

 

Kairi ran outside to see what was happening. Fire coming from the ship and into the water? What was going on...?

 

Demyx gasped as he saw the fireballs nearly strike him on the back. One blasted him on his arm "Ow! Ahh! Now he cares," he sighed and swam faster away hoping not to get hit again."He's gonna have to drag me back before I step foot on the ship again. He didn't listen to what I had to say so it's every man for himself," fatigue would soon hit him due to his arm that was damaged and he was running out of options. He needed to reach land or he would surely pass out.

 

Kairi stared at the ocean, eyes wide. Apparently Axel wasn't too happy about something. She just hoped that it had nothing to do with her; she had gone through enough for one lifetime.

 

"Still not coming back, eh?" Axel mumbled with the same evil grin. "Well If you're not gonna be here, maybe you would prefer being at the bottom of the ocean..."
He shot several large fireballs at Demyx in the back.

Sora turned around and saw Kairi coming outside.
"Stay back!" he shouted, looking from Kairi to the fire. "Wait here, I'll be back in a second."
Without another word, Sora leaped into the air and flew towards the ship.

 

Kairi nodded at Sora and watched him fly off. She was worried about him, but at the same time, she had faith in him. He was strong enough to survive on his own.

 

Demyx's breath was wearing thin as he gasped and yelled out for he had been hit several times. Feeling lightheaded and cold, his energy gave out and he fell beneath the waves. As his eyes began to close, he felt that his life was flashing before his eyes. His blood stained the water as his body disappeared behind a wave. "Why did my life turn out like this?"

 

Axel cracked his knuckles and turned away, feeling that his work was done.
"Don't turn your back on us..." he muttered before walking into the dungeon. "You'll get burned..."

Sora was almost at the ship when he saw the fire stop.
"Huh?" he said, confused that the fire would seize so quickly. "That's weird. I should sneak on, just in case."
So, Sora hopped onto the deck and crouched down, hiding behind barrels, crates, and anything else there was to hide behind. At one point, he saw someone walk into the dungeon and decided to follow.

 

(OOC: So how did Axel get Demyx since he nearly drowned? Did he dive in and save him and now Demyx is in the dungeon. I don't understand?)

He had not awaken and his mind was full of troubling thoughts. He viewed Axel as a friend before, but now Axel didn't seem to care about him for he had blasted him and nearly killed him. What kind of friend would ever do something like that? "Axel why? Why have you betrayed me?" his mind said over and over again.

 

OoC: Axel has done nothing but cause Demyx to drown. He did not save him or anything of that sort. Demyx should still be in the water for now.

Axel walked around the dungeon. It was pitch black and the floors were quite damp. He wanted to see if there was anyone in there at the moment. After searching, he was about to leave when he heard footsteps coming from behind him.

Sora continued to walk forward, not being able to see a thing in the dark. However he could sense a person near. After seeing a bit of spiked red hair, Sora quickly backed up a couple of steps.
"Axel!" he whispered in surprise, unfortunately too loudly.

Axel spun around, but could not see who had said his name. He could tell it was a young boy's name.
"Playing hide and seek?" he said, holding his arms up as if about to punch someone. "How about hide and burn?!"
Fireballs went flying around the room everywhere, serving as the only light in the room.

Immediately, Sora ran out of the dungeon and hid behind many things before reaching the edge of the deck.
"Phew." he said with a sigh, looking at the ocean.
That's strange... he said, staring at the water. Is that water turning...red?
Suddenly, Sora turned pale and recognized the substance which was changing the color of the water. Blood.
"Hang on!" Sora shouted before diving into the water, unsure of who was bleeding in the water. If he didn't hurry up, crocodiles and sharks would be surrounding the area in dozens.

 

(OOC: All right I understand.)

Laying on the ground, he felt his body begin to lose consciousness. Luckily the waves washed him to the shore and made him wake up. Unfortunately, he fell on the boulders and was stuck in the crevice. "Axel! Why did you try to kill me?" He screamed as his voice echoed back to the ship. "I thought you were my friend!"

 

Sora landed on the shore next to Demyx who had blood all over his back.
"Demyx?!" he said, astonished.
Now, he was not sure whether to really help this guy or not. Demyx was part of the group that constantly attacked his home and kidnapped Kairi. However, no one should be left in pain.
"We need to get you inside." he said, reaching a hand out.

Axel heard Demyx's shouts of anger, but did not listen to the words he said. All that he focused on was that Demyx was still able to speak.
"Not dead yet?" he said, getting in a dingy and paddling towards where the voice came from. "I'll just have to fix that."

 

"Sora!" Demyx narrowed his eyes knowing he was the enemy. ''What do you want?" Leave me alone. I rather die alone then be a traitor." He tried to get up on his own and cast his eyes down knowing he truly was in trouble. He could taste his own blood and he desperately needed medical attention.

 

Namine watched as the ship was in the bay, and Kairi was rushed inside. She was infuriated with how Sora was treating her, and was thinking of going back to her mushrooms and her REAL friends. But she could never show her face back there, for so many years past. Maybe it was her fault all this is going on. Namine flew slowly towards the woods, not looking around, only to the ground.

 

Kairi saw Sora sitting on the beach with somebody in one of the black cloaks. A pirate? Why would Sora be helping somebody that had kidnapped her? Things didn't make any sense anymore.

 

(OOC: Is anyone else going to post besides me?)

Gripping onto the rocks, Demyx tried to pull himself out from the crevice, but got more wedged in. "This is hopeless," he moaned trying once more and ended up scraping some of his flesh. "Ow! You must be laughing to yourself I know you are," he pointed to Sora. "Why did this have to happen to me? I never asked for this and I don't deserve any of this."

 

Kairi really wondered what was going on, but she was too scared to go look up close. So she sat down on the grass and looked out, not taking her eyes off the ship.

 

Demyx continued to frail his arms about until he fell into the rocks below. He was now on top of jagged rocks and could still be seen by the others. He did not know that Axel was on his way over in a boat. "How am I going to get out here?" A tear slid down his cheek fearing he would be stuck down there for who knows how long.

 

Axel arrived on the shore and jumped out of the boat, a look of anger and hate in his eyes. Finally, he spotted Demyx and grabbed him by the shoulders, throwing him against a boulder.
"Traitor..." he mumbled, backing up a few steps. "They say that if you shoot someone with fire 100 times, they burn from the inside out, suffering a cruel and painful death."
Quickly, he shot a blast of fire at Demyx in the chest.
"You just received your first shot..."

Sora saw what was going on and ran towards the two.
"Stop!" he shouted at Axel, taking out his keyblade. "Leave him alone."

Axel rolled his eyes, then shot another blast. Afterwards he held two fingers up.
"Well, well, well..." he said, shaking his head at Demyx. "Now you have our enemies trying to help you. Just for that, I'm gonna make this one extra painful..."
He held his fists up and prepared for the third shot.
Demyx could now barely take anymore before being severely injured.

"No!" Sora yelled.
He took a deep breath, and jumped in front of the huge fireball that Axel had just shot. The blast hit him perfectly.
All he could feel now was extreme pain in his chest as he lay on the sharp wet rocks.

Axel simply laughed and prepared to shoot Demyx again.

 

Demyx's eyes were sincere and full of pain. He did not understand why Axel was reacting so harshly to him? He felt he had not betrayed Axel, but that all he needed was to talk to him. "Look Axel," he stood up feeling extremely weak. "We need to talk. I didn't do anything wrong. I left the ship because of what has happned to me and I told you everything, but you were drunk or something and didn't answer me. I need you to understand like a real friend would. Please hear me out," he begged for forgiveness for he didn't want to be a traitor.
