Kingdom Hearts; The Peter Pan Edition.

"I came to save you. Sora's taking carew of the pirates with the others." Riku looked around."Did they leave the keys anywhere near here?"

 

"There's no way that Sora can take them all!" Kairi looked at her friend. "Riku, stop looking and listen to me! You guys need to have a real plan if you're going to defeat them. The one with an x on his face has some kind of weird gun that turns adults into kids and kids into adults. You need to leave. NOW."

 

Rkiu grabbed Kairi's arm. "I'm not leaving without you, okay? Kairi...you're my best friend. I'm not leaving you."

 

He wasn't going to give up, Kairi realized. She had to help if they were going to make it out. "I think one of the pirates has the key." She said sadly.

 

"Ok....wait a sec..." Riku pulled out Way To The Dawn. He pointed it at the lock as a white beam connected the lock and the blade. The lock broke off. Riku took Kairi's arm."Let's go."

 

Kairi nodded and looked around. "How do we get out?"

 

"I know which way to go..." Riku ran with Kairi through the cells. A pirate met them. Riku summoned a Dark Aura, knocked him out, and kept running.

 

"Riku!" Kairi stopped and turned around. Three more pirates had followed them.

 

"Darn it!" Riku summoned a dark Firaga and took one of the pirates out. He stabbed another, then started clashing swords with the last.

 

Kairi backed up against the wall, watching the fight with wide eyes. They had probably already alerted the superior pirates of their escape. They were in serious trouble.

 

Riku slashed at the pirate, sending him into a pile of boxes."Let's keep going." He said to Kairi as he pulled her arm.

 

Kairi was pulled along by Riku, her eyes still wide with fear. If they didn't get away, then it would be her fault that her friend was captured.

 

"Here we go!" Riku busted open the door to the deck. It was somewhat empty, except for a small midget pirate. He knocked the midget out and headed for the boat's side."Take a deep breath!" He shouted as he plunged over the side with Kairi.

 

Kairi took in one more breath and nearly let it out when they hit the cold water. It was then that she remembered that she couldn't swim. She reached for Riku's arm again, but she couldn't find it.

 

"Kairi!" Riku called through the water. He grabbed her arm and flung her onto his back. They went to the surface."Grab around my neck!"

 

Kairi coughed a little and obeyed, leaning her head against his back.

 

Riku swam towards the shore as pirates shot at them from the boat. A bullet hit him in the shoulder, but he kept going. I gotta save Kairi, we're almost at land.

 

Kairi gasped when a bullet hit Riku's shoulder. She instictively grabbed him tighter. Then a bullet hit her in the leg. The girl cried out in pain.

 

"Kairi!" Riku shouted."What happened?" He kept swimming towards the shore. They were a few hundred feet away.

 

Kairi's tears began to soak through Riku's shirt. "I got hit..."
