Eden was still confused. "But I don't even think my heart knows anything..."

 

"Well... What do you think is the right choice-" "Stop it.... Don't try and convince her to get anything she doesn't want...."Riku said, sadly. "If she wants to stay with the family she's known all her life, thats fine wih me."he said.

 

" I'm just confused right now... I don't know if wether I should go back to Earth when the madness is over... Or stay with you...." Eden said, looking down.

 

"Its okay....Take your time."Raine dissapeared. Riku took out his I-pod and was about to plug the earphones in when- "RIRI!!!!"Sudden glompage. There was a puff of smoke as he transformed. Riku looked up to see a small light brown puppy looking at him. "Val....How did you get here?"he asked. "Guilty."a voice said. Riku looked over to see Sora. "Sora!"He smiled. Sora picked up Rikus I-pod and his clothes. "So, what'd we miss?"He asked, picking up Riku in his other hand. Riku frowned, going silent.

 

Eden's wings were gone after the battle so no one knew, she hadn't said anything, letting her hair cover her eyes.

 

"Eden?You okay?"Valerie asked, her tail wagging. Sora was alittle concerned. "What happened you two?"he asked. "Nothing."Riku lied. "I can tell if you lie, Riku..."Sora sighed.

 

Eden said nothing, but a black feather from one of her wings from the fight before was slowly settling down onto Val's head.

 

Valerie looked at the black feather. "YOU TWO GOT TO FIGHT SEPHY AND YOU LEFT ME AND SORA OUT OF THE ACTION?!?!?!"she yelled. Sora fell over, droping Riku. Luckily Riku landed in the pile of his clothes on the ground.

 

" That's not Sephy's feather, though we did....force fight him..." Eden squeaked.

 

"Eh? What do you mean this isn't Sephys-"There was a puff of smoke as Valerie and Riku changed back. Valerie immediantly changed into her clothes along with Riku. "Anyway...what do you mean this isn't Sephys feather?"Valerie asked after getting dressed. Riku finished getting dressed and frowned.

 

" Things happened..." Eden said, almost with no voice at all.

 

Sora frowned. "Riku, mind showing me your wings for a sec?"he asked. Riku nodded and spread out his wings. Sora took the feather, then plucked a feather from one of Rikus white wings. "They're the same....aside from their color that is."he said. "What does that have to do with anything?"Valerie asked.

 

Eden was a bit confused. When did Sora become a detective?

 

"Thats alittle weird...."Sora put the feathers in a pocket in his backpack. "This is pointless."Riku said, his eyes turning brown. Sora gasped and looked at Rikus eyes. "Riku, your eyes are brown!"He said. He looked at Edens eyes, then at Rikus. "The same color as Edens toos....weird..."he said, but noticed Rikus eyes going back to aqua.

 

Eden was freaking out in her mind but staying calm.

 

Valerie was trying to put two and two together. "Oh yeah...you're mom had dark brown hair and brown eyes like Eden, right?"Sora asked. Riku nodded. "So that means you had to get your looks from your dad....And I'm just guessing but being part angel is....whats the word again....hereditary?"Sora asked. Riku nodded. "And since there's no way you're mom could've been an angel, or at least part angel, so that leaves your dad."Sora said. "And the fact that Mizu said you were so good at using the darkness, and you got that dark spell easily....Your dad must really have a dark heart..."he added. Valerie was putting two and two together when....

"Sephiroth is your DAD?!"she asked, freaked out. "Its the only explanation...Am I right?"Sora asked. Riku stood still for a moment....but nodded. "And since that feather wasn't Sephiroths it had to have been someone elses! And in science they said that temporary eye color changes usually happened in twins...or something like that.....and since you and Eden were both fighting Sephiroth at the time..." "Whoa! Riku and Eden are related?"Valerie asked. "It depends. Riku? Eden?"Sora looked at Riku and Eden.

"..." Eden tried to use her hands to cover her eyes as they gave a pained yes.

 

"Huh....I always thought you two had a sort of sibling rivalry going on at first.... Heck, now I don't find it weird that you both like me."Sora chuckled. "Wait a sec....You somehow knew all of this?"Valerie asked. "I had a hunch."Sora said. "You...you scare me sometimes Sora."Valerie said. Riku sighed.

 

" ...." They found out... Her eyes met Riku, wondering if she should show them her wings.

 

'Go ahead'.Riku mouthed. Valerie was still trying to take everything in. "Wait...does that mean Eden is part angel like Ri?"she asked. "Maybe."Sora said.
