Riku handed Eden the inkstone.

 

Eden took the inkstone then realized something. " You were born in the year of the horse, right?"

 

"Yeah, why do you ask?"Riku asked.

 

" That's probably another reason." Eden said. "Wanna know something?"

 

"Sure, go ahead."Riku said, smiling alittle.

 

" We're not so different after all..." Eden sighed.

 

"What do you mean?"Riku asked.

 

" For one thing, we both have someone we lost very dear to us... Unlike you, I wasn't unable to attend her funeral." Eden said.

 

"Oh....I'm so sorry...."Riku said.

 

Eden sighed. " As well, we're similar with an element. Water and Ice are both in the same group, as well as healing. And also... we have a remnant of our loved one that we get hostile if anyone tries to go near it."

 

Riku looked over at his teddy bear an took it. "Good point."He said, holding the small teddy bear in his arms.

 

Eden put everything back in the case and held it close to her chest. She started to fall asleep.

 

Riku lied down on his bed and yawned. He didn't even hear the door unlocking. "Sora, you are a miracle worker."Valerie whispered from outside the room. "I wouldn't say that."Sora chuckled nervously.

 

Eden slept, regaining strength in a manner of not eating. She usually did that if not food was available at the moment.

 

Riku lied down and fell asleep. "Awwwww, cute....."Valerie whispered. Sora smiled a bit.

 

Eden was fast asleep, but the emptiness of her stomach bothered her.

 

Valerie yawned a bit. "I'll keep breakfast warm for when Eden waks up. You get some more sleep."Sora said. Valerie nodded. She lied down on the couch and was out like a light.....

Eden slept silently, only her breathing heard.

 

Riku was silently breathing, his breathing slow and steady. Sora yawned and started to heat up breakfast.
