Before he could say anything to Quill he ran off. "I hope he does not get lost and it is not hard to find him." He said to Kel and Kaida as Luna left shortly after. Then Aux said, 'It's better not to ask.' He was not so much asking then stating they should be careful. He tuned to Kel after Luna had left as he said, 'It may be too easy, but it's really all we got to go off.' "I know but these children following Oogie can not be a good thing. I guess we should go after them." he told Kel and Kaida. Be fore heading off after Quill and Luna he gave Kel his number as it might be helpful. "You never know when this would be helpful." He Aslo knew that something was going to happen sooner or later so it did not hurt to have at least one number. He he reached the gate and went into the town with kel he did not notice at first the blend taking hold.

 

Luna took a step forward as Quill caught himself on a tree. "Are you alright?!" Quill reassured her that he was fine. He then talked to the others before following after Luna. The two went off ahead toward the town. As they were walking, Quill had slowed his pace to match Luna's. She quickly took notice of this and opened her mouth. "You do not have to slow down just to accommodate my pace. I can pick up your pace just fine." She smiled, as if to tell him she would be just fine. As they reached the city, Luna looked around before Quill spoke up. She turned around and noticed his new appearance. It didn't seem he was too ecstatic about it. He then thanked her for accompanying him. She shook her head. "You are doing just fine! There is no need to worry about proving yourself worthy. Your presence is already appreciated for just agreeing to help us." She smiled before looking down at her own appearance. She found herself wearing what seemed to be a cloak. She felt something on her shoulder, it had turned out to be a small teddy bear with an eyepatch on her shoulder. She smiled slightly. "It would seem I look like a mage or wizard or perhaps a fortune-teller of sorts." A small laugh left her lips as her tail swayed left and right, ears atop of her head slightly moving, still unbeknownst to her.

Quill had then mentioned Eraqus in his couple of words. Luna grew a bit concerned. What had Eraqus said to him? Quill quickly apologized before asking her a question she was a bit surprised at. She lightly scratched her cheek as she tried to answer. With a nod of her head, she gave Quill his answer. "Yes. However, I had no knowledge of this prior to joining this group. While I am one of the Seven, I do have a kingdom that I'm sworn to keep safe." As they walked, Luna followed up with her own question. "What brought about this curiosity? If you have any other questions, I am more than happy to answer." She paused. "To the best of my abilities, of course." She smiled before letting out a small laugh.

The two reached a graveyard where the children's tracks had stopped. The princess crossed her arms as she looked around. "How odd...Their tracks abruptly end here..." She looked around once again. "We should head further in. Perhaps, they left something around the area." Luna looked at Quill as she gave her suggestion.

 

Quill was hesitant to answer all her questions, for fear of what he thought it all meant. But he couldn't say nothing now. "I'm...not sure how to put it but I didn't really connect to my Aura in our training. I think what's in my body, what's tainted it, it forced me to reexperience a lot of trauma. I fear that, to lose myself to the corruption in my body. It's the exact thing Eraqus told me. I'd fall to it, nobody has come back from it..." Quill's look was solemn and sad, staring down feeling disconnected talking about all this. "I just...I worry about hurting others." Again. "So I suppose I was curious if you knew where I could guide myself. From the ship and that crazy lady with chains, you have a connection to the aspect of Light correct?" Quill felt more relaxed around Luna then he though he'd be. She was quite kind, surprising with Quill's own experience with royalty... "I don't know if you have any guidance but- Is that a talking skeleton?"

Before their conversation could continue, a very skinny and tall man came delicately walking down the graveyard road. But this was not just a man, but a skeletal man. With a little spectral dog of all things! Approaching them, Quill was nearly freaked out and wanted to pull a weapon. But Luna's presence was quick to calm his fears, the darkness of the place fading away as the light from the dog illuminated them. "Preparations? Uh well we're more here to...observe the event. Um what event is this again?" He said something about Halloween...likely an event Quill hadn't had on his world. "I'm...Quill and this is Luna...and you're a denizen here?"

As Kel and AJ trailed behind there didn't seem to be anything that seemed to pose a threat to them, which was saying something cause between the overall creepy atmosphere that surrounded them, there had been a few times where he'd thought seen shadows moving in the trees and found nothing when he actually turned to look in that direction. This place was certainly doing its best to unnerve him and finding himself in a graveyard really didn't help that. "Oh hey...guys?" Uncertainty was clear in his voice as he wasn't quite sure if it was them until he got close enough to notice some of their more distinguishing features. Kel slowly turned his focused aware from them and to the skeleton that was basically towering over them. He seemed friendly enough given that they were currently fighting or anything.

Soon Kel and him found themselves in a graveyard. Kel seemed on edge as they walked there. "It will be alright we will be able to take care of anything that comes our way." Then there was a skeleton that was basically towering over them. He had said something about Halloween! and the Pumpkin King. He turned his attention to Jack. "We are actually look for him. You would not happen to know where he is would you?" The tracks of the children ended here so the children knew thay were following them or they went under some sort of secret compartment ether way they had to find Oogie Boogie.

 

Beuce ran through the snow to catch up with them. Karina had barely set foot in the world before she trudged off. He was glad that she was being...Goal-Oriented, as he decided to put it. He just hoped that she wouldn't charge headlong into a trap. He arrived mere seconds behind the two of them, talking to what appeared to be a woman of dwarf-like stature brandishing a staff at them. "Hey, Hey. There's no need for that!" He said with a muffled voice. Looking down, he found the culprit. An enormous, fluffy white beard extending from his mouth down to the middle of his chest. Beuce sighed. "Ma'am. We've only just arrived moments ago. We'd just like to know what's going on."​

As Faust followed the others through the apparent tree shaped door he had found himself tumbling into a winter wonderland. Pushing himself up from the piles of the snow he found himself staring at the bright and cheerfully decorated village in the distance. By the time he had torn his gaze from the sight he saw the others already at the gate off in the distance. As he started to scramble after the others he felt one of his feet slip from under him as he began rolling towards the gate snow forming around him on his collision course. He barely had time to call out “Hey watch out!” before his head was covered with snow for a second before head and he felt a jarring impact as the snow and him came to a stop at what he could only guess was the gate that he saw the others at. Though as he tried to move his head to get a better look to see that he hadn’t hurt anyone with his tumble he found he couldn’t move his head. Raising his hand to his head he had found he had once again been transformed by some form of magic though this time less drastic than before as only his clothes had been changed along with a pair of antlers that seemed to fused with his head, antlers that seemed to be stuck into the wood that made up the gate. As he was forced to look down into the snow he tried to pull himself out with little avail calling out “Sorry to snow up late guys. Though I might need a little help”

Jack certainly seemed nice enough despite the overall creepy vibes he had been getting from this world as a whole so far. Kel attempted not to think too much about that as they were lead to the Doctor's lab and as Jack and the aforementioned Doctor had their conversations, he looked around at the lab itself. It seemed to be pretty normal, compared to the other labs that he's seen, but when the sheet covering the table was removed he found himself taking a step back in shock. The various body parts had their own set of patches and sewn marks, so at least they were parts of a human. Didn't make it any less unsettling and when coupled with the doctor scratching his exposed brain, Kel was quick to nod at Jack's offer to leave. "Yeah, let's go."

 

Though Quill has some hesitancy, following a walk talking set of bones isn't what he expected, he knew that he'd have the best chance to lead them to Oogie. "That's fair, we appreciate the help Mr. Skellington sir. To be honest with you, we're also worried about his...dangerous methods. That's why we're here." Jack seemed nice enough, it would be best to be candid with the man. Well, man was a strong word but it fit best.

Arriving at the doctor's office, a deep fear arose as they were given a tour of the gruesome laboratory. The doctor himself, while grouchy, was reasonable enough. But he gave off some seriously bad vibes as he showed off his experiment, creating some homunculus or golem it seemed. "I've seen some horrifying things on my world but this...this is a new bar." Weirdly enough Jack and the Doc took that as a compliment. This place was beyond strange.

As they mentioned they went back and forth about Jack being the pumpkin king, something caught Quill's eye. By the window...was there something there? It was like, he couldn't look at directly to see it but in his periphery some...one was there. "I think I see- Aaaggghh." Again that strange sense of vertigo, like the world was crooked, causing Quill to fall forward and knock over a rolling cart. He would've fell on his face if not for Jack's new weapon, screaming 'Soul Robber' and using the ectoplasmic whip to catch him. "S-sorry sorry guys. I just thought, well i thought i saw something at the window but...I guess I'm seeing things." His aura training still must be taking a toll on him. He looked to AJ, Kel and Luna to see if they had noticed anything there but...again he just looked crazy to the group. Not a great first outing for Quill. "Erm yes, thank you Jack. A bit of air would help." And to avoid seeing the Doc from opening his damn skull would be great too.

 

Beuce couldn't quite understand what offended her so much about his newfound facial hair, but nevertheless she seemed hostile now. He summoned Lofty Grasp to his hand and ran forward to strike. He brought down a bolt of thunder onto the lalafell, but she erected a magical barrier around herself to absorb the damage. "Ohohoho. To use my own art against me, you're quite bold. But on the topic of your talents, I'm afraid I'm not sold." She swung her staff to the side and a circle of glowing runes appeared on the ground around her. With another laugh, she shot off a few more fire spells at the group.

Luna remained silent as Quill recounted his tale with his aura. The expression on Quill's face had dropped with Luna not entirely sure on how to respond. He feared he would hurt someone. He then switched the topic towards Luna. He had asked if she was aligned with Light. The princess nodded her head. "I suppose Light has almost been a silent companion of mine. Present but never reveals itself." Luna closed her eyes for a moment before finding words that she would hope spark new thoughts into Quill's mind. "Let me ask you this, Quill. Do you intend to run from your past forever or intend to forget about it entirely?" Luna paused before looking forward. "I understand the feeling of not wanting to revisit past traumas, however, I also know that I cannot run from them. It is those very traumas that assisted in molding myself to the person standing right now. It is because of those traumas that I wish to face them head-on and grow beyond that." Luna looked back at Quill, before she continued on, he had pointed ahead towards a skeleton man of sorts.

The skeletal man approached the two, followed by what appeared to be some spectral dog. He asked the two if they had arrived to help with their preparations. The skeleton had mentioned they were preparing for Halloween? The word sounded familiar to Luna's ears but it was a moment lost in translation. Quill had introduced himself and Luna. Luna bowed her head. The skeleton had introduced himself as Jack Skellington. The dog named Zero, circled around the two. Luna chuckled before squatting down to Zero's height. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Zero." She reached out and patted Zero's head before standing up.

At that moment, Kel and the others had caught up with Quill and Luna. Luna gave a small wave towards the others. AJ had then asked Jack about this 'Pumpkin King' and his whereabouts. While Luna respected AJ's urgency to get down to business, she also worried if they were already seeming suspicious to Jack. The princess kept quiet while Jack answered his question. He then offered to lead the group there. He had mentioned making a small stop at this Mad Doctor's Lab. Luna nodded before following after Jack and Zero.

Once they had reached the lab, Jack greeted the Doctor and handed him a small bag. The Doctor immediately pulled the covers off the table behind him to reveal pieces and parts of a large rag doll. The Doctor had mentioned needing a new assistant and that his latest creation would be the solution to that problem. After several moments, the Doctor had given him a green slime which had immediately wrapped around his wrist. He had called it the 'Soul Robber' which would assist their efforts against Oogie Boogie. With the Soul Robber in hand, he looked to the others, asking if they were ready to go. Luna nodded her head before following Jack out. While Luna's curious mind looked around the lab, she noticed Quill fall forward. She immediately rushed over before Jack's new Soul Robber caught him. A sigh of relief left the princess. As the group walked outside, she had Quill sit down for a moment to catch his breath.

After a few moments, they rejoined the group and followed Jack. Jack had then warned them to be on their guard. Luna then responded. "I can safely speak for all us when I say we will be fine when it comes to self-defense." Luna smiled to reassure Jack. The group pressed on through town, while keeping their eyes peeled for anything suspicious. They had went pass several tombs as Luna then looked to Jack. "Pardon my curiosity, Jack, but what exactly is the job of Pumpkin King?"
