Luna ran back onto the battlefield and looked around. She stopped in her tracks to look around the battlefield. Ice began to gather at the tip of her blade. She flicked it to her right. She looked over to see two darkballs getting closer to Kel. Skates had appeared at the bottom of Luna's boots. She jumped onto the ice and began skating over to the two darkballs. Blade in hand, she glided across the ice and sliced through one of the darkballs. She raced over to the other one and cut through it with one fell swoop. She stopped and looked over to Kel. "At least this is less than when it began. Though that just begs the question." She paused as she looked around her and Kel. "Just how much power does that guy have? To summon all these heartless and such a large amount of them at that..." She saw three more darkballs headed toward the two. She covered her path with ice toward the two darkballs. "Pardon me a moment." She skated across the ice cutting through the two darkballs only to find herself surrounded by six more darkballs. Luna had started to get a little irritated over the situation. "How many times must your kind surround me??? It's getting quite tiresome!" Light had begun to emit from her once again. "Enough is enough!!" Four pillars of light had appeared around her once more and scattered about, hitting the six darkballs. As the light died down, Luna looked back at Kel and saw two shadows starting to attack him. Her eyes widened a little bit before skating over to her friend. She glided across the ice and over to her friend. She struck through the two shadows that were readying their claws. Luna stopped and looked over to Kel. "Alright. Next question, just why have most of these heartless been after me? So many questions and yet not enough time for answers." Luna looked around the area to make sure no heartless was around to sneak up on them.

The flame pillar vanished after a few moments which made may for the next batch of heartless. These were more on the aggressive side as they had very quickly leap out towards him immediately after the pillar of flames had vanished. Their claws were outstretched and poised to strike. Kel however easily stepped out of the way of the first attack and before he could counter it, the heartless managed to get a strong foot hold on the ground and lunge at him once more. This force Kel to have to block the attack, even being pushed back slightly by the force that the heartless had behind. An impressive display to be sure, but wasn't enough to have any real hindering affects on Kel. With a little effort of his own, the lone neoshadow was pushed back to the egde of the moonlight. From there he took a quick step forward to slice the heartless in two. This made way for another pair of neoshadows to close the gap between themselves and Kel. Both heartless seemed to be keen on attacking from his sides at speed that were quite impressive if he was to be honest. It had happened in an instant. The neoshadows leap towards him, both claws poised and ready to strike. If he had both of his keyblades out, then Kel would've been able to block both of the attacks easily. With that not being the case, he was forced to improvise to avoid taking damage. So he ducked, right underneath both of the heartless that were attacking him and leaving them caught off guard by the sudden movement. The neoshadows had crashed right into one another as Kel rolled back from the two of them to give himself enough space to launch a counter attack. A purple glow coated his keyblade and was followed by a purplish aura as he attacked with a Poison Edge.

He'd thought he was safe from any more heartless, leaving him unaware of the darkballs that were heading his way. In fact he was more distracted with Luna skating to noticed. Fortunately Luna herself had done away with the two heartless before they could land a blow. A blow that would not have done as much damage as normal, but still would have done damage and being able to avoid it was great. "This place is surrounded by darkness, maybe he's just giving them a reason to show up." It was still a good point though. Even if there heartless were simply being baited out here, for the sheer number of them to all take said bait was an concerning as it was impressive. Luna skated around after the heartless that had tried attacking her again, clearly growing annoyed by it. Her next use of faith was a clear show of it. That prompted Kel to look around and find that there were a small group of darkballs that were trying to make their way over to the duo. Kel struck down the first few with a quick thunder spell, but the remaining for did well to disperse quick enough to avoid the attack. Despite this, they were quick to dash right back in to attack the keyblade wielder, who responded to their efforts in kind. The signature cherry blossoms had started to fall around him as Kel closed his eyes. From his current stance, he waited til he could sense that the heartless were all lined up and unleashed his zantesuken upon them all. By this point Luna had again regrouped with him, exclaiming her grievances with being a prime target of the heartless. "Heartless are attracted to light and you have used a lot of it." Both the faith spell and the moon that shone down upon them were proof enough of that. "To them you're like an all you can eat light buffet." Speaking of which, there were two shadows that had attempted to sneak up on Luna while she was talking to him. Kel literally just poked the ground right when they formed to be rid of them.

Hikaru continued to run around the area where he and Aux were situated in to find more darkballs to pitch towards him. As he looked for more darkballs to throw, he looked at the battlefield around him to see how everyone else was doing. For the most part, the members of the soldiers of sanctuary seemed to be holding up just fine. With the two giant darksides gone, there were mostly neoshadows, darkballs and good old swarms of shadows left behind to deal with. From the look of things, even the invisibles were taken care of. As he began to run through everything, he noticed a mostly damaged shadow staggering around, just waiting to be put out of his misery. Dragging his keyblade along his left side, he made a mad dash towards the damaged heartless and swept up his keyblade in a swift uppercut to damage the heartless. Almost as if it was made of paper, his blade swept right through the shadow and had it eliminated on sight. He continued to run through the heartless hordes, passing the heartless that was barely an after thought once he took care of it until he found a small group of darkballs. He quiockly waved his arms about to try and get it's attention. "Hey, over here!" He put his fingers to his mouth to let out a loud whistle sound. Unfortunately to his dismay, Hikaru didn't know how to properly whistle, and the sound that came out sounded more like a raspberry being blown on a belly than an actual whistle. "Oh, right..." He looked back up and yelled "Whistle sound!" before waving his arms and running back towards Aux. Before he would pitch them towards Aux to hit, he had to at least gather them all in a place that was easier for him to hit towards. He continued to shout 'Whistle sound, whistle sound!' for a few hundred more metres until he was close enough to Aux. He would've pitched them from further away, but Hikaru was no where near Aux's strength level to appropriately hit the darkballs with enough force that they would be able to fly a long enough distance. No, Hikaru could probably only pitch the darkballs a dozen feet. And that was with a long jump and equal momentum to match.

As he ran towards him, Aux raised an eyebrow as Hikaru continued to yell 'whistle sound, whistle sound,' until he was close enough to Aux. He didn't have time to question however, as Hikaru made a long vertical jump before performing a slapshot to shoot the darkball at Aux. He would jump up and continue to keep the darkballs' attention on him so that they wouldn't wander off and target any of the other keyblade wielders. Seeing the darkball that was pitched towards him, Aux hit the darkball with a powerful smack with his blade, watching it fly to the other darkballs with one swift motion from his arm. The darkball hit two of the darkballs gathered around Hikaru, causing all three of them to disappear in a puff of smoke. Before he could pitch the others to him, Aux's disturbance caused the darkballs to slowly esge towards him. Unwavered, he walked forward and jumped to slash away at the remaining darballs with a few quick aerial combos. As he remained in the air, he hacked and slashed at the darkballs with an increased ferocity to try and make sure there was nothing left of the heartless but smoke. As he landed back on the ground, nothing but smoke is exactly what had fallen around him as looked around to see what was enemy he had to defeat next.

Another shadow swarm, much like the one that caused Aislinn to have a panic attack started to form and come towards her, this time however Aislinn was more prepared for them. Instead of freaking out and freezing up much like she did before, she stood her ground staring down the heartless. If she couldn't deal with things here, then she couldn't deal with things back at home. If Aislinn was going to make good on her promises to help others when she was called, she would have to make sure that she could help herself first. If another one of the swarms pushed her into the ground like it did last time, it would be a lot harder for Aislinn to get back on her feet again. She still felt the lingering effects of the first time it happened, and while she had been working to get passed them, and still managing to fight without a problem, she knew another attack like that wouldn't be very good for her health. That being said, the simple act of talking things through a little bit had made it much easier to face what was going on. Aislinn managed to keep her wits about her and not stop for the same traps.

As the heartless rushed for her, Aislinn held her keyblade up in front of her, focusing a bit on the energy from it as it channeled through her creating a protective shield. When the barrier was created, instead of backing down or going for a safe haven, Aislinn rushed them head on, using the barrier to break through the heartless, destroy a few, but mostly disperse the group of them, allowing herself time to breath and get ready to continue the fight to a greater extent. Without them all grouped up it would take longer to kill them but it would be safer to deal with. Considering the big group could do quite a bit of damage all at once, she didn't want to risk her health for dealing with them in such a large group unless she was able to use Zantetsuken, which at this point it was not possible for her to do so. She wished the ability didn't take so much out of her, or else it would make the battle a lot easier, but given the limitations that she currently had, she didn't have much of a choice.

With the heartless spread out around her, Aislinn started by smashing a couple into each other before dancing around the rest. It took nimble movement to avoid attacks while she stashed at the heartless around her. Far too many heartless fell to her, it was far to easy to take out heartless after heartless. She could deal with a lot more than normal now that she chose to deal with the smaller guys... well it was less of a choice and more of a necessity. They kept leaping up at her and trying to slash at her. Clearly the Shadows didn't like the fact that she knocked them out of their formation to take them on at smaller portions. It might have been easier for her but it was more than a little deadly for them. Aislinns keyblade twisted and turned in her hands as she jumped from one heartless to the next, not caring what she hit as long as they died before her, at her hand. It was less an act of violence as much as it was an act of survival. She just wanted to deal with the heartless as quick as possible, and as Aislinn stopped to breath she noticed how noticeably thinner the battle field was, they made good progress.

Luna scratched her head a little bit. "That sounds very troubling. Especially if someone else is nearby." She looked around and saw two shadows coming up to the two. She skated over to the two shadows and immediately stuck both down. She looked back at Kel and spoke. "It's getting quite tedious if you ask me." Luna skated over to two other shadows and cut both of them down within the blink of an eyes. She let out a sigh before speaking up again. "If that man summons up another large amount of heartless, I just might have to take him down myself. This is getting out of hand." She placed her hands on hips in annoyance. She looked over and saw two darkballs just a little ways away. She let out a sigh before jumping over and aiming at the heartless. "Burn!!" She launched out a Fira spell, immediately eliminating the two darkballs. Her skates had melted in the process and she landed back onto the ground. She saw two more darkballs coming toward her and she charged toward the two. "Stay down!!!" She sliced through one of them and then sliced through the other. Three neoshadows had started making their way toward her after seeing the darkballs get taken down. She aimed once more and ice had begun to gather. She waited for a few more moments before shooting out a Blizzaga spell. She turned around and snapped her fingers. The ice had shattered and had caused her hair to blow in front of her a bit. "See? Tedious! We're going to need more help if that man does decide to summon another wave of heartless." She ran back over to Kel as she said her sentence, still looking around for any incoming heartless that may pass by.

Apparently when the shadows failed, the Neoshadows felt the need to pick up where the shadows had left off with the fight. Rolling her eyes Aislinn prepared herself for another wave, at least she had plenty of experience fighting these things already. They weren't going to give her a break any time soon. Why did it seem like the heartless were so much more focused on her than most other people here? Was it because she was the oldest? Aislinn certainly wasn't going to claim to be the strongest of everyone here, though she did suppose that she had been the killing blow on both the big guys. If the heartless had a heirachy and it was anything like what Aislinn imagined then she might have just taken out two of the higher ranking heartless of the the group and all of the heartless could very well be pissed at her for such an act. Aislinn knew from experience that they weren't the strongest heartless that existed. She had joined plenty of raid teams, composed of fifty to a hundred people to take out even bigger threats back home. Not once during those missions had she been able to witness everyone return home from the battle. When they had to go into those fights, losses were always high, and Aislinn had always been fortunate to get out of them alive herself. She supposed her keyblade helped, but it had also drawn attention to her. Something about the weapon drew the attention of the heartless which tended to make battles a little more difficult. Here however where everyone had a keyblade there was no extra attention to be drawn by her weapon, just perhaps the fact that she had taken out some of their leaders could have been the cause, either way Aislinn was getting sick of it, she just wanted this fight to be over. Even if less Neoshadows surrounded her than the shadows had, it still got on her nerves that she had to deal with them all the time.

With a sigh Aislinn took a more defensive stance against the Neoshadows. She didn't have the energy to go on a full frontal attack after the last set off attacks against the shadows. To deal with things easier, Aislinn let the heartless come to her, she would defend and strike out on counter strikes, but before then she had the time that she needed to catch her breath and relax her muscles. This still left Karina twirling from side to side, looking out for the heartless that might have been approaching her at any moment, but it was less effort than jumping around preforming numerous combos on enemies only to have them die before she could finish her combo, which meant a break in momentum. When she broke the momentum it meant that she spent more energy than she needed to with little reward for her work. It was really rather annoying in the end when that happened and left Aislinn longing for this battle to end finally. As she fought, Aislinn noticed certain people had began to group together. Through this entire battle she had notice Kel and Luna sticking together. Luna had interested her, she was rather nice during their first world together, and after they came back as masters she noticed that the girl carried a Tiara on her. More than that they found that the girl was a princess of heart. It certainly made for an interesting character. Aislinn figured she would have to talk to her a little more, just ask her about herself, but that could wait until they were in a more safe situation.

He stood there for a moment surrounded by a unknown amount of heartless. He could not even make out what heartless was what. The heartless were more or less one big wave. It was like a sea of blackness. A neoshadow heartless came out of nowhere. The Neoshadow heartless that had rose out of nowhere up in front of him was still there not moving. It looked like it was waiting for something. It most likely was waiting for him to let his gaurd down or turn is back. The purple color of this one was glowing. It was something that he had never seen before. It seemed like the heartless were thinning. He could now see some of the distance again but he was sure that it was not going to last long. He just had to find a way to get out of there. That was when the neowshadow heartless rose his hand and shadows started coming his way. Wasting as little time as possible on the smaller shadow heartless, Andrew was quickly closing the gap between himself and the Neoshadow. He was still using the bark of the tree as a weapon. Trying to dodge out of the way and keep walking slowly towards neoshadow. The purple neoshadow would not allow such things as to die so easily from him. The neoshadow heartless so happened to move and it launched itself at him swiping with both its claw like hands towards him. Dodging out of the way as fast as he could, Andrew rolled to the ground to avoid the attack the neoshadow heartless was now close to the tree that was behind him. He had to keep moving and the neoshadow seemed more interested in him then what else was happening. He attacked the neoshadow heartless quickly.

After cutting through the last swath of heartless, he looked around the horde of shadows that seemed to be towards him more now. Stepping forward, slightly the heartless instinctively continued to come towards him. Only to eventually halt a few feet away. They were getting smarter. As they continued walking towards him, the halted horde of shadows began to charge at him all at once. This was not good. He had to guess that another neoshadow was leading them. Only this time he could not see the neoshadow heartless. He tighten his grip on his makeshift knife he was never one for short range combat or hand to hand but he had to learn quick if he wanted to live. The mere flourish of his weapon didn't seem to do much of anything. It was not like he was using a keyblade. The heartless pounced towards him. He seemed to be suddenly swallowed in a dome of shadow and claw. The yellow eyes of the shadows were no longer visible with how tightly packed. They were now trying to scratch, maim and devour him. They wanted his heart. He once again backed up to the palm tree and this time the shadows were closer then before. He managed to take out a few with his makeshift knife which gave him enough room to breathe and fight his own way. With already a few down it might be easier. He slightly wondered how he was still alive. There was no time to think about that now tho. He had to act. The other heartless then recoiled from his last attack. If they could feel he would say that they were almost repulsed by the shear force he just showed and now they did not seems at ready to come at him. He was able to take out the few that were close to him.

Beuce began channeling his mana into the circle once again. To be honest, part of him wished that he hadn't sent his thundagolem away from him to help Stratos with the darkside as it could've defended him from the oncoming heartless. However, the heartless finally started to thin down, and there weren't as many left to prevent him from summoning. His limit had long since run out, and he'd only managed to get the Thundagolem out in its empowered state. He may use it again later, but for now, he just had to finish these things off as quickly as he could. He'd been a little bit inconsequential in this fight, but he wasn't thinking about that right this second. He reverted back to his base form and picked up his keyblade. He'd call on his golems later, but right now he figured it was better to get into the thick of things. For now, it looked like what he'd be fighting was mostly neoshadows. Lovely...

The heartless darted around him with speed far exceeding his own. They encircled him in some kind of pack hunter mentality. He'd figured out a way out of this before, but there was no guarantee that the same tactic would always work every time. The keyblade master extended his keyblade and shot forth a burst of lightning from it at one of the Neoshadows threatening him. It electrocuted it, causing it to convulse on the ground and eventually explode. This, however, prompted the others to actually begin their assault. Beuce rushed forward in a shoulder charge, surrounded by barriers on all sides made of hard light. While it didn't stop their assault entirely, it protected him from the most immediate damage and managed to get him out from the middle of them. It even managed to take a few out as he went. Quickly redirected their focus, one managed to scratch him on the back, leaving a large claw mark on it as blood began to run down his back. The cuts weren't very deep, but they still made Beuce wince in pain. He spun around and grabbed the heartless by its face, using the darkness to drain out its life force and repair his wounds. It didn't quite fix the whole of them, but he could certainly deal with them and fix them later.

As for the rest of them, he balled his hand into a fist. Light shone through his fingertips as though it were cupped around some bright source of energy, and he swung his fist downward. With it, four pillars of bright white energy crashed down from the sky onto the heartless attacking him. Unable to dodge the faith spell in time, several more neoshadows fell to it. Following it up, Beuce took a stance, and cherry blossoms floated down from seemingly nowhere, filling the air. With one blindingly fast cut that not even the neoshadows could every hope to see coming, let alone evade. In an instant, the rest of the neoshadows who had attempted to swarm him were destroyed, along with a couple of their lesser cousins. The horde was certainly beginning to thin itself out, but he knew that this was far from the end. They'd only fought two of the large enemies, and there was no way that they were the toughest of them. With the behemoths it was Arma. With the bloticles it was Timothy...Well, actually he was the strongest because he was also Arma. Would there be another Arma in this fight...? That would certainly be a rain on his parade. He glanced down to his left arm and gulped.

He continued his advance through the heartless, stopped by yet another Neoshadow. Looking at it, the neo shadow seemed to have a darker, black color to it, and was far more light on its feet then the others. Leaping towards Him, the neoshadow heartless moved with much greater speed then the other ones, catching him off guard. Barely being able to keep up with this creature, he just barely managed to put his wepond up to defend against the attack. The blade managed to push the claws away from its original intended target area, though the attack still managed to force its way past his guard and strike him in the shoulder. Wincing in pain, the boy attempted to back off from the creature when it went to rake at him with yet another one of its claws. Being able to see the attack coming at him more clearly this time, the boy managed to fall backward, dodging rolling backwards to avoid the attack. When the claw had struck empty air, however, with impossible flexibility the neoshadow heartless then flipped towards the boy, kicking him with both of its dark born feet. It pushing off of him and he being pushed by the attack, the distance between the neoshadow heartless and him had increased. Getting back onto his feet, the boy thought about the opponent before him, wondering how exactly this neoshadow heartless seemed to be stronger than all of the others so far. Thinking about it there was not much he could do about it.

As the creature pounced at him, he dodged to the side again, avoiding the first slash of the shadow's claw. Bending its other arm around to try and attack the boy, he managed to cleanly guard against the other attack. Stepping forward, he tried to slash against the Neoshadow heartless, but its body had bent unnaturally sharply to avoid the attack. Jumping back away from he, the boy was not ready to just let the pressure end on this creature and leaped after him. One slash following into another, each attack flowing into a rhythm with each slash managing to take off more chunks of the shadow. At the end of his slashes, the boy hopped into the air, pounding his sword into the ground causing a shockwave to force the Neo Shadow up off the ground. Now in the air, the boy slashed at it a few more times before letting loose one last powerful swing of it, finishing his combo. As the creature was felled, it exploded into a large puff of darkness, leaving nothing behind of what it once was.

Several dark orbs began to form around him in the air. Darkball heartless were there. The darkball heartless' bright yellow eyes glowing intensely in the dark setting. The chains hanging off their bodies as the circular bodies made their way towards him, their jaws opened wide as if their teeth were cutting through the air. Making a mad dash towards him, the darkball heartless began chomping and gnawing away as they approached him. There was a the mass horde of smaller heartless starting to make there way towards him. He took a firm step forward and dashed off towards the horde of Shadows he would not let anything happen He was just about done using this back that was a knife. He faced the smaller heartless ready for there next move. Some of the smaller ones that made the occasional swipe at him he would kick back or use his knife. Only the unlucky ones that decided to actually come onto his path were struck down. Three shadows had all jumped at once and met a swift end by him moving fast and striking them as they came for him. They were soon dissolving into dust.

Beuce looked to the next set of enemies to be defeated and ran over to face them. A cluster of the floating spherical heartless known as Darkballs. Since they seemed to be far slower than his previous adversaries, he decided that it wouldn't be such a terrible idea to do something that packs a bit more of a punch. As usual when he shifted jobs, his body became enveloped in a red and blue light. As the energy spread out over his body, the red began to overcome and drown out the blue, indicating the dominance of power in this form. When finally the light faded, Beuce's clothing was made of far heavier fabric, largely comprised of red with a black trim around it. His arm felt like it was nearly torn from his shoulder at the sudden increase in weight from the object in his grip. The large grey steel double ended great sword plunged itself into the sand from its sheer weight. For a moment, he began to think Soldier may not have been such a fantastic idea as he'd forgotten just 'how' heavy the thing was.

Then, an idea struck him square in the head. He had something that made maneuvering swords much easier. Focusing inward, he called upon his blade aura. An eerie silvery glow began to wrap around his silhouette, and his senses were immediately sharpened to a supernatural level. With the assist of the almost auto pilot like instincts granted to him by the aura, he managed to lift the massive blade from the ground to actually be wielded. It wasn't so much that it weighed less or that he had gotten stronger, but his grip and muscle movements were all far more efficient than they would've been without the aura, allowing him to do more than singular swings with the beast of a weapon. One of the darkballs evaporated into smoke and floated down toward him, expanding and biting at him. However, it was met with an explosive swing, instantly destroyed by the massive force of his cross slash. Spinning in a circle, he picked up more and more momentum, and eventually let the blade go, spiraling out and crashing through several of the darkballs before changing direction midair and coming back to its master.

Beuce slid backwards, leaving deep heel prints in the sand as he caught the great sword. It was only due to the enhanced strength soldier that he was able to stop the blade. It was certainly a difficult weapon to use, but the power it packed was worth the effort. Readying himself into a stance, cherry blossoms fluttered through the air, indicating the command he was about to use. Once his Zantetsuken was fully prepared, he dashed forward with uncharacteristic speed and cleaved most of the darkballs remaining in half. One by one they exploded in a puff of black smoke, followed by a glowing red heart floating off into the sky to who knows where. No sooner than he'd finished the command, three darkballs charged through the air, rapidly gnashing its teeth in an attempt to bite down onto who had begun tearing through their ranks. Coating his blade in ice, he jumped into the air and slashed downward at the first, instantly destroying it. Still full of energy and his blade still empowered, he jumped up and repeated the process for the second of his assailants. Finally, the third one got the worst of it with the strongest blow, given that it was an aerial enemy.

    Also some shadows died.

As soon as the neoshadow heartless and the shadows were gone more just seemed to come. After cutting through the last swath of heartless, he looked around the horde of shadows that seemed to be towards him more now. Stepping forward, slightly the heartless instinctively continued to come towards him. Only to eventually halt a few feet away. They were geting smarter. As they continued walking towards him, the halted horde of shadows began to charge at him all at once. This was not good. He had to guess that another neoshadow was leading them. Only this time he could not see the neoshadow. Of course they would all attack and once hoping to get a upper hand there were maybe 10 so so that had jumped towards him all at once. He had to get rid of these shadows fast.

The risks involved in being completely surrounded by shadows was even greater now. While others may think that this was fun he did not. He knew for a while now that he was going to just have to fight on his own. He was somewhat glad that it was this way. If he went down no one would be able to see it. It was probably suicidal to fight alone but it was not like he had a choice. He still thought that it was netter this way. The shadows were getting smarter and smarter. If this continued they might be able to take him out. He kept himself in a defensive stance as he readied himself for the next attack. The next group began to jump and try to hit hit him again. He was able to move to one side again just in time as he saw a shadow hit the palm tree. The shadows as a result piled up on each other. At this point he was able to take out a few more that ended up on the palm tree with some kicks and the use of his knife. There were still a few shadows left ready to attack him and then beyond them even more ready to join the fight. With the there were still a few shadows left ready to attack him and then beyond them even more ready to join the fight. He decided that going after some of the bigger heartless might be best. That said he did not think that he had much of a choice in the manner. Picking on the bigger heartless first before bothering with the smaller heartless seemed like the best idea but no matter what ended up happening he was sure to get overwhelmed once again at some point.

This leg of the battle seemed to be drawing to a close. He hadn't done much to participate in it, though his Thundagolem seemed to aid Stratos greatly in his battle against the darkside, but he was going to make sure he at least helped finish it and hopefully he would be more proactive in the next portion of it. Now that the darkballs in the immediate area were over and dealt with, neoshadows began to perform their same old tactic of encircling him as pack hunters. However, this time there was no delay to size up their opponent. They simply went straight for the kill. Having little time to react, Beuce swung his blade at a nearby neoshadow. The heartless spun forward in midair and landed on the blade, running along it and getting in close. It swiped at his face, managing to get in a good swipe that left a mark along the right side of it. Beuce gasped in pain as the claws tore through his skin. He could feel the claw pass over eye, just narrowly avoiding blinding him. He wondered if the Shedim Lords would be so charitable as to give him another. While he was amused by the thought, he didn't waste any time breaking away from the heartless. If he'd been there any longer, they would've torn him apart.

He reverted to his regular attire in a light burst, removing himself from the soldier job. It was far too slow to combat neoshadows and was almost certain to get him killed. Not to mention, the claw marks across his face were stinging pretty badly, and blood was beginning to cover his vision. He called upon a power that he had forgotten about for a while. Honestly, he wasn't even sure why he could still do it. His clothes darkened to a solid black, and gradually the lining of it began to glow with a neon blue light. He felt...different on the whole. Perhaps because he was no longer made of solid matter, so much as a collection of data. It was a strange experience to have the whole of your being transformed into a completely different substance. Well, he wasn't even really sure substance was the right word for it. Nevertheless, he reached onto his back and produced his frisby like weapon, his identity disc. With a quick flick of his wrist, the light went from its normal blue to a bright white, the perfect element for combating creatures of darkness. He tossed the disc straight at the neoshadow who had clawed his face and it went straight through the thing's chest. Unlike when they normally exploded into a black smokey substance, this time it seemed to shatter in a very computerized looking fashion, jagged bits of it laying on the ground before finally buzzing and fading from existence. So that was what they meant by "Derezzed". The disc came back to him, having bounced off some sort of surface and returning to his hands. He put it down, parallel to the ground and it floated, bringing up a user interface complete with a holographic keyboard. Punching in various random entries that he assumed to be strings of code, he suddenly felt quite a bit stronger. Apparently, whatever he had done, it gave him and all of his abilities quite the upgrade kek dan mating call.

Luna continued to look around to see if there were any incoming heartless heading toward her and Kel. A neoshadow had started to run up to her. She ran toward the heartless, blade in hand, and attacked. The neoshadow had fallen in matter of seconds. Once the neoshadow was vanquished, Luna took a moment to catch her breath and recollect herself. "Their number are growing weaker by the minute. We have to keep going. Until the last heartless is slain." She looked around once more and saw the ongoing battles that were scattered about the island. The heartless were dwindling with each passing minute. As she was watching the battle take place, a group of three shadows had come up behind her. She felt something behind her. She then turned around and immediately jumped back. "I can't relax for a least five minutes, can I?" She sighed and then grabbed her keyblade and took down the three shadows. Luna looked around for any more heartless that were headed toward her. She saw two more shadows standing around. She ran over to the the two shadows and immediately took out them both. As she stood up, she saw four darkballs headed toward Aislinn. She started running but she wasn't going to make it in time. An idea had immediately struck her right then and there. "Please make it in time!!" Several mines had appeared around Luna. She immediately directed them to the our darkballs that were heading toward Aislinn. As the mines reached the heartless, each one set off one by one, eliminating the four heartless. Luna ran over to Aislinn to check on her. "Aislinn! Are you alright??" She placed her hands on her knees to catch her breath. After a few moments, she stood back up and a look of concern had appeared on her face. "You're not hurt are you?" She looked around and saw two more neoshadows come running toward them. Luna immediately aimed and casted her Fira spell, immediately burning the heartless and turning them into ashes. She let out a sigh of relief before lowering her blade. "Can't breathe for even a second, can we?" She looked over to Aislinn.

Beuce had all but cleared out the remaining heartless in the immediate area of him, but there were sounds of battle all around, and he hadn't the time to relax. The last few neoshadows nearby rose from the ground. Not nearly as many as had tried to encircle him before, four in total. These ones seemed to acknowledge that there was no way they were going to be able to beat him with pack tactics like the others had tried with their slim numbers. However, blood was running down the right side of Beuce's face, obscuring his vision a great deal. He'd closed his right eye at this point, and would heal it when he got a minute to breathe, but right now it was pretty debilitating. The neoshadows threatened to pounce on him at any second, so he did something none of the heartless expected him to do. He ran away. More specifically, he turned around and dove forward, a bike materializing underneath him. The engine whirred loudly as he sped away, faster than the neoshadows could hope to catch. In fact, they ran after him, only to be caught by the ribbon of light and immediately destroyed in much the same fashion as the one who had been struck by the disc. Only one managed to evade this, to which Beuce simply turned his head and waved a hand at it.

A malevolent looking purple string of code surfaced around it and infected its body. It wasn't instantaneous, but over the course of the next few minutes, it would wither away from the virus and eventually meet the same fate as the others who had tried to face him. His job in this area done and now in a perfect position to go help elsewhere, he steered his bike toward the closest face he could find, being Luna and Aislinn. His turns were incredibly sharp, all at exactly 90 degree angles, and the ribbon of light seemed to trail his movements exactly. He sped by and intercepted a neoshadow that had its sights set on Luna. Whether or not she could've dealt with it on her own didn't really matter. It wouldn't get the chance to find out as the moment it tried, it crashed into a bright blue wall. "Hey princess! Don't get cozy now! We're almost done with this bunch but i doubt we're even close to finishing the whole thing." He dismounted his light cycle which then faded away into cubes of light. Beuce ran along with the ground to try and disperse some of the inertia carrying him forward.

"Need any help? I just finished the bit over there. Wait..." He looked over as the final neoshadow succumbed to the virus and became derezzed like its brethren. "Okay now i finished over there." He threw his scouting disc at another neoshadow, causing it to ricochet off and hit a regular shadow, then return to him. He brought up the console once again and began to punch in another random string of letters and numbers. Evidently, he was either really lucky, or coding was incredibly easy. He once again felt another boost in power as all his abilities, as well as his basic parameters increased in power. "You two holding up alright over here?" He asked the two women. Luna he knew fairly well, and Aislinn...Well he hadn't interacted much with her. She hadn't made a good first impression, but that wasn't everything.

Just as foretold, the fight ahead was indeed nowhere near as simple as casting an ice spell. His opponent was certainly making its type clear enough, to be certain. Every swipe of a sword or flick of a wrist was immediately countered with a second-tier fire spell. So yes, Steel had not at all gone wrong assuming elements based on color coordination, as his opponent was indeed what one would call "fire aligned." Unless one was a police officer, in which case they would more likely be calling the heartless an "arsonist." Whatever ones social class and the resulting impact on what they would call his opponent, one could certainly agree that a great many fire attacks were being used. So while a single ice spell in itself should in no way be powerful enough to end the fight, one would think it would have an effect of some kind. But alas, any Blizzara sent the fiends' way vanished harmlessly once it met the fiery red cloak. Spells that did more elementally neutral damage met with the same fate. In fact, he was even starting to suspect that his opponent was somehow absorbing the spells to maintain its energy levels. He would have to try sticking to physical attacks, but every time he got close he was blasted in the face with more fire. As yet another flaming sphere careened toward him, Steel swung at it with all his might, not really intending to avoid damage more than anything else. However, the fire spell bounced back towards its user and... did damage.

Steel could only gap rather gracelessly as the fiend actually reeled back a bit at making contact with the spell. Shaking himself out of his stupor, Steel considered to himself that basing ones entire style of fighting around the one and only effective combat variable was a very misleading way to fight... and not at all something a heartless would be able to pull off to quite this extent, even if they thought of it. Covering one's own weak point via augments, though... Augments resembling accessories such as, say, a cloak? With renewed vigor, Steel dashed towards his opponent in hopes of preventing his enemy from recovering. He plunged his Keyblade into the monsters' chest before ripping open the cloak. The subsequent blast of ice did noticeably more damage, as the Invisible began shrieking as it was slowly frozen over. With his enemy's weakness exposed, Steel figured now was a good a time as any to unleash his new power.

"Splash Dash." He muttered the words quietly, not particularly caring about the fact that he felt somewhat ridiculous saying such words in the middle of what had thus far been a rather intense confrontation. Nevertheless, the effect was immediate. As tears began to flow from his blighted eye, they trailed down his face and arm towards his Keyblade, continuing to come forth in a flowing torrent rather than dissipating. It wasn't long before his weapon was coated in water. His arm was also in the condition that it would be quite soaked under normal circumstances, as the slightly glowing liquid was a continuous stream from his eye to his sword. As the water flowed into his enemy, still impaled on the end of his blade, he pumped in several more Blizzara's leaving it only a matter of time before the heartless vanished. Turning to his final opponent, he found the summoner gathering several shadows around it.

"Heck. No." Not wanting to face another group of enemies like the one he had just obliterated so soon, Steel rushed forward. Slashing at the new opponents, dressed as dolls of all things, a surge of water splashed up as he cut through his own wake. Impaling the summoner in much the same way he had the fire fiend, Steel instead pumped a Thundaga spell into the water around them, drastically damaging the final of his more notable opponents. With a few more sparks, the summoner was finally vanquished.

Fighting the heartless around her, Aislinn had not noticed that anything was approaching from behind until she heard a large explosion. Turning around Aislinn had just managed to catch the remnants of the explosion. Dark smoke mixed with the pure black of the heartless remains billowed up from behind her. Aislinn cursed herself a little bit for missing the signs of something approaching from behind. She should have been more careful about what was around her. Perhaps she had been getting a little lazy because the numbers were starting to thin out a bit. Aislinn didn't think she had been getting to distracted with other things, but this just left her to see that she was wrong and needed to be more careful. Looking over she noticed that Luna was running towards her, asking if she was alright. Smiling back at the girl, Aislinn brushed a little bit of dust off her. "I am perfectly fine, thanks to your quick thinking. Nice work, thanks for the save!" It was a genuine thank you, Aislinn was relieved that Luna had managed to jump in for the quick save. "No injuries from that attack, just some earlier scratches. I am fine though." Aislinn assured Luna. If she tried to claim nothing was wrong that would be an obvious blatant lie, and she would rather tell the truth and not have Luna question her too much about it.

Of course more Heartless closed in on them and Luna complained that they didn't get a break. "No we don't/ Apparently these things just keep on coming to no end, it is kind of getting on my nerves, but what can we do?" Aislinn tried to shrug it off like it was nothing, even when it was getting to her a little bit. Just as she prepared for another fight, someone else rode in and gave them a little more of a break. Looking at the man, Aislinn gave him a bit of a smile. "Thanks." She watched him get off the light cycle, trying not to think back to those damn races that she was forced to do. It was not something that Aislinn had particularly enjoyed, but in this case it helped save their butts a bit, give them a break. "We are as fine as we can be with a none stop stream of heartless coming at us. I see you are holding up alright yourself." Aislinn replied to him. She had not talked to the man that much, but she at least tried to be friendly in a rather generic manner, trying to keep things pretty basic until she had gotten to know him a little better. From what Aislinn could tell he was the next oldest one here, which was kind of interesting to her. Something he said had caught her attention though. "So what exactly is with this princess stuff?" She asked. Aislinn had not caught on with the conversation about Luna being a princess of heart, and knew nothing about her life, so she was simply a little curious.

The curiosity would have to wait however as the heartless weren't slowing down much for them. As one group went down, another rose up to take it's place. This time Neoshadows decided to pop up around them. With three of them it wouldn't be too bad to deal with, but it seemed like half or more of the remaining Neoshadows tried to corner them. "Well I think we might have piss some of these off." Aislinn shrugged as she twisted her keyblade around and charged into the nearest group of heartless around her.

Kel couldn't help but to chuckle at what Luna had said regarding the guy who had brought about this horde for them to fight. Did all princesses act like this? While Luna had skated around, taking care of the heartless that continued to chase after her, Kel pondered this. Easiest way for him to go about this was compare her to the other princesses that he's come across in the past. There was the princess in Nottingham, but he didn't really speak with her much if at all and she wouldn't be a good example. Technically there was Mulan, but she was a princess of heart while Luna was just a regular princess. Not to mentioned acted differently from each other. That just left Princess Minnie back at country of musketeers. Come to think of it, Kel didn't really have a basis for any of his princess comparisons. "I don't recommend trying to fight him by yourself." Kel said, striking away another group of heartless that that had jumped at him. All it had taken was a quick couple of slices for him to be completely rid of them. "I will agree that this is all getting pretty tedious." Unfortunately there wasn't much that they could do outside of continue to fight for as long as they could. Help would be much appreciated though. Sure they were now masters, but they were only just given that title and this was the first thing that they were thrown into following it. A little on the unfair side if you were to ask him. Luna had run off to go help Aslinn and a group of darkballs had tried to chase after her the moment that she did. Kel had gotten right in their path and tapped his keyblade onto the ground causing five mines to appear. Darkballs may have floated so regular mines wouldn't work on them, but seeker mine was different. The instant that the heartless had gotten close to the mines, they leap off of the ground, into the air and right into all of the heartless. That group of heartless had lit up in one massive explosion that did away with them while knocking back any heartless within the blast range.

After Aux's attack on finishing off the rest of the darkballs, he began to look around himself and Hikaru. From the look of things, the heartless were still raging against the rest of the members in their party, but at least their numbers were definitely decreasing, He could see by just his simple viewpoint of the area around him, that the numbers had now begun to decrease in the low hundreds. Before he had time to give a closer inspection, he more than a few dozen shadows begin to crawl their way before the two of them. Hikaru quickly held his keyblade with both hands as he looked around to keep a calm composure. He breathed out cold air as he kept a level headed, charging against the shadows on his side, leaving Aux to his own devices. With his keyblade tilted over his should, he dropped his blade to his ground and cracked his neck slowly as he looked straight ahead at the shadows. A small smirk escaped his mouth, knowing the onslaught he was about to perform against the bewildered heartless.

Hikaru on his own side, began to slash through the shadows with his newly invigorated sleek prowess. He watched over his shoulders, as a few of the shadows tried to sneak behind him, while a good dozen of them had begun to sneak below him in their shadow sneak mode. He quickly leapt into the air as he kept the heartless at arm's length. He would've cast another blizzard spell to try and get rid of the group, but he began to sense that he was low on magic power. He would have to hack and slash at some of them in order to naturally restore some of his magic power. Knowing this, He quickly slammed his keyblade down and watched a couple of the shadows get knocked back. The diamond dust aura was enough to not only empower his ice magic, but also give his keyblade the ability to deal ice magic. He slashed through some more shadows as he watched tiny crystals fall past his face in a cool breeze as his battle continued. Before he was done, he quickly looked down to the shadows that were now popped out of the ground and ready to attack him with a flurry of scratches. Knowing he wouldn't catch a breath until they were dealt with, Hikaru was prepared for this. He took his keyblade and performed a quick array of slashes to deal with the remaining shadows.

On Aux's end, he had begun fighting the shadows in a rather unorthodox way. He was actually bonking the shadows on the head with his keyblade. One by one he was just conking them on the head like he was playing a game of whack a mole. The number of shadows he had to deal with were far less than that of Hikaru, so he decided to have some harmless fun with it and just hit the shadows' heads until they vanished from impact. With enough force, no matter how minuscule, the shadows would always be defeated. They were after all, one of, if not THE weakest heartless he had come across during his time with the SOS. Quickly finishing on his side, he turned to Hikaru to see if he was done on his end. His friend was still slashing away at some of the remaining heartless however. With another final combo, he looked back at Aux and gave a quick thumbs up and a cocky smile. Aux took his two fingers and replied to Hikaru with a quick and silent salute back at him.

The end of this shadow cluster was here. And there was (probably) no one more excited about it than Kaida. Considering she had started off nearly killed by the horde, kicked off this island by the crowd, and been expending most of her energy on them. So seeing them dwindle to nothing was satisfying. She was not a fool enough to think this was the end, but this was the end of this group. Slashing one more time with red slash, the shadows began affected by a mixture of time and light, and were frozen in this spots until they disappeared in a spectacular burst of light.

Kaida saw a couple darkballs floating her way once she had offed the last of the shadows, and she turned to looked up at them. Her time aura still flowing from her due to her last attacks, the girl simultaneously stood still, was in mid jump, and jumped into the air. When she began hitting the darkballs, she went into an aerial combo, flying around and knocking out three darkballs in the air, and throwing one of her keyblades far away at a fourth darkball. Stabbing straight through it. Kaida landed on the ground safely and recalled her keyblade to have it.

Luna smiled as Aislinn had told her that she was okay. Before she could let out another breath, a voice rang out to her. "Hey princess! Don't get cozy now! We're almost done with this bunch but I doubt we're even close to finishing the whole thing." She turned around and saw a neoshadow running up to her, followed by Beuce on a light cycle. Beuce had eliminated the neoshadow before getting off the cycle. After he had taken care of two other heartless, he walked over to Luna and Aislinn, asking if they were alright. "We are as fine as we can be with a non-stop stream of heartless coming at us. I see you are holding up alright yourself." Luna nodded and then opened her mouth. "Yep! Thanks for the save Beuce! I guess I should've kept up my guard." She scratched her head a little bit while laughing a bit. Aislinn had then turned to Luna with a question on her mind. "So what exactly is with this princess stuff?" Luna looked at Aislinn and listened as she asked her question. After a few moments, Luna answered. "Well..." As soon as she started, she saw a Neoshadow come up behind Aislinn. "Look out!" She pushed Aislinn out of the way and sliced through the Neoshadow before it got any closer. Luna turned back and walked around Aislinn to make sure she was alright. "Sorry about that. Anyway, this 'princess stuff' is....well....I'm one of two heirs to my home's throne. Princess Lunala Kiatespira, at your service." She bowed a bit as she started to explain to Aislinn. She saw three darkballs coming toward the three. "Excuse me another moment!" She ran over to the three darkballs. As she ran, crystals had started forming around her likea barrier once more. She immediately dashed into the three darkballs, immediately vanquishing all three. Luna immediately saw another group of three coming up from above. Pointing her keyblade upwards, lighting had descended down. Her Thunder spell had struck down around her, taking down the three darkballs along with it. She ran back to Beuce and Aislinn. "Alright. Where was I?" She paused, resting her chin on her hand. "I remember now! I was explaining myself as a princess. I'm sure you're a little curious about the crown. I kind of saw you looking at it for a few moments. Well...this crown signifies the mark of my family, or at least one of the marks. This crown was passed down to me by my father when I turned 16....It's one of my most prized possessions next to this one." She reached a hand to her crown before reaching down to hold her necklace. She smiled as she reminisced about both items. She didn't have time to reminisce for too long, as three more darkballs had started to make their way once more. "Don't interrupt a converssation!" She pointed her keyblade at the group of three and immediately casting her Fira spell. She shot out the fire ball and burned the three and caused them to turn to ashes. Luna looked back to Aislinn. "Was there anything else you were curious about? And that question goes for both of you!" She smiled as she looked between Beuce and Aislinn.
