Wtih only one of the heartless that Stratos was facing left, the boy looked towards the heartless and looked down in a showdown against it. The neoshadow was barely still standing up, it's body looking like it was mostly broken down. From the gravity imbued slash that Stratos had given it, it looked as though it were also missing an arm, the boy presuming that he must have severed it while he was going on his flurry of slashes. Imbuing his blade with a dark power, poison seemed to flow into his keyblade, slashing at the creature. Normally, the attack wouldn't do much in ways of damage, and he wasn't even sure if the heartless would be afflicted with the poisonous effect from the poison edge attack. However, the heartless barely had any life left to give, and any resistance it might have had towards the boy's attack was basically made null and void. Slashing forward, his slash went into its chest, cleaving through the dark body that made it up. The shadowy creature broke apart, being felled in that final stroke, and exploded into a smoke of darkness, returning to the void of the realm of darkness. With that out of the way, the boy looked towards the next set of heartless, wondering how many more he needed to go and slay.

While he saw that Aislinn was being involved in her own swarm of heartless, the boy began to walk forward towards the swarm, only for him to almost immediately find a new fight to be apart of. A neoshadow leaped out of the ground, trying to uppercut him with his claw, the boy just barely managed to dodge out of the way of the attack. As the creature then brought its claw back again, it slashed forward trying to rake into the boy's torso, though he had managed to bring up his keyblade to defend against the attack. However, the force behind this neo shadow's claw was far greater than any normal one. Even the one that he had fought earlier wasn't quite as strong as this one, as he was pushed back, his feet skidding across the ground as parried the attack. The, now looking at it more closely, larger than normal neo shadow began to dive towards the boy, spinning at him like a wheel as he brought up his keyblade to guard against it again. The heartless grinded against his keyblade, the boy having to put a large amount of gravity magic into his legs to keep standing his ground.

Imbuing his keyblade with a large amount of gravity magic as well, aura empowering his magical force, the boy managed to force the large neo shadow up. With a pulse of magic, and shoving his keyblade upward, he caused the creature to begin floating upward into the air. As the heartless was now harmlessly floating in the air, the boy pointed his keyblade at it, shouting "fox taser." With lightning beginning to charge up at the tip of his keyblade, a small dart fired at the creature. However, while it was floating, it managed to stop the dart with its hand, the resulting eruption of lightning being localized entirely to that area. As it did, the hand was blown clean off, the handless arm smoking with a black and purple smoke where the hand used to be. The creature eventually fell from the air, freeing itself from the gravity magic, but as it did the boy leaped into the air after it. Imbuing his keyblade with ice, with two frost slashes he then attacked with one final attack, forcing the shadow onto the ground and damaging it heavily.

Moving through the horde, the boy got in a guarded stance as yet another Neo Shadow leaped at him. As the Neo Shadow had charged him, the boy stepped backward, immediately evading the first of the attacks from it. However, this way not enough as the Neo Shadow began to spin around, rushing into him and striking into unguarded self. The wind being knocked out of him, as the neo shadow's foot knocked into him, the boy skidded backward. Putting up his hands again, the heartless moved towards him with its claws, raking them over his arm causing a large cut to form across it. Wincing in pain, he looked for an opening against the heartless he was fighting, though the creature was moving much faster than usual and was unrelenting in its pressure. Trying to evade the attacks, the boy kept moving side to side. Punching forward, the boy struck the heartless's claw, with his wepond. He was able to destroyimg the claw entirely. Moving in closer to the creature, he then slid into it with his fist striking dead on into the creature's gut. As he forced the creature back, he then delivered one powerful roundhouse kick to the Neo Shadow's head, causing it to lurch to the side before being destroyed under the damage it had taken.

He watched as a small group of drakball heartless come out of no where and ended up floating in front of him. They tilted their heads, looking at the sky aimlessly as they rose like black ink from no where to the leveled plain. They looked to him with intense glowing eyes. Their bent teeth showed. One of the darkball heartless jumped towards him, prompting him to tilt his head up as he watched the darkball hearless come towards him. The heartless looked down immediately and made a mad gliding dash towards the man. He remained in place as he watched the heartless approach him at an alarming speed. As the darkball heartless prepared to spinn away at his face, He quickly stabbed the darkball heartless by it's head causing it to flail. He glared at the creature as he jumped into the air, the darkball heartless' head still in his palm. As he jumped back down, he swung down his hand, slamming his palm and the heartless' head with it.

Now that it was unable to escape becasue of the countless heartless infrount of him. With a heavy swing, he attacked another darkball heartless. The rotund heartless was caught unaware and he threw the darkball heartless into another one. He sent the darkball heartless into it companion. The darkball heartless would at least would take some damage. As much as he wanted to say they were getting close to finishing up their fight here, it was hard to convince himself of that. He looked around and noticed that there were just begining the battle. He fired off a another strike to a wayward darkball heartless. He took a swing at another darkball heartless, taking it out and looking around. It seemed kind of strange how there were so many enemies and yet they did not just completely overwhelm him all at once. It had appeared that he somehow had managed to get the darkballs to slow down. They were slowed down for now but he knew that they would attack soon. It seemed that the stopped darkballs were not going to stay stopped. Taking another deep breath, and ready for the onslot that was sure to come from the darkballs and shadows. With his wepond at the ready the boy charged forward with swift speed rushing towards the darkball heartless. before they could do anything. With a single cut nothing seemed to happen at first, only for the keyblade master to then immediately strike with yet another swing of his weapon the darkball exploded. Another darkball show up this one looking regular size and he took this one one fast too. The heartless were destroyed in an instant, unable to take the raw force of the attack, and dissipated back into the strands of shadow they were made of.

Well the fight was going well, while they weren't saying all that much to each other, Aislinn and Stratos were certainly holding their own, fighting alongside each other and helping out when the other needed it. The battle would be over soon at the pace they were going. However with the quiet, Ignis still likely thinking of how to respond to Aislinns question she thought to pitch it to Stratos as well, maybe explain for herself why she was there. "So Stratos tell me." She paused slashing at a Neoshadow that stood between the two. "What made you join this little group, and why do you want to be a keyblade master is you wanted to at all? I know the exam was part of a situational thing, but was it a dream or goal of yours? If so why?" She asked him curiously between heavy breaths as she spun around and slashed at yet another heartless, making her way through the swarms. There was no more fancy showing off, Stratos was right, some of his skills were more reliable than the one that she had shown off. That was okay though, she didn't need to show off, she just needed to get things done and dealt with.

As she fought Aislinn began wondering if anyone was going to return the question to her, and if they did how she would respond to it. Sure she knew her reasons, and all that but how did she put them into words properly. Aislinn couldn't help but wonder what sort of families these kids had, if any of them were fighting for their family like she was for hers. She missed her sister and her niece and Nephew dearly. Hopefully she could be back for her nieces first birthday, see the child grow up. While it was a dream of hers to be a Master of the Keyblade, it did hurt to think that obtaining that dream might mean missing watching those she cared for most growing up. However as long as they were alive, as long as they could lead safe lives she would be happy, Aislinn just hoped that was the case. Seeing how the Heartless were growing stronger when she was sucked into the realm of darkness, it wouldn't be a surprise if they had overwhelmed the front line force by now. How far could they get though? Had they reached the city yet? How many heartless even existed, for there to be this many here, were they being pulled from other worlds, was the force on her world weakened because of this battle? One could only hope for such things to come to pass.

As they fought, Aislinn kept an eye on Stratos and Ignis, this time jumping int to protect Ignis's side that was left exposed for a moment. The heartless fell around her but it still wasn't enough, they still had far more to kill before it would be safe for them all to breath. The talking was just a distraction from the longevity of this battle, something to keep their minds occupied as their bodies fell into a rhythm or a dance of death. She was sure any one of these guys could fight the remaining heartless with their eyes closed if they had to, they were predictable enough in the end to not be too much of an issue when it came to killing them. All they had to do was listen and wait and they would know where the heartless were coming from. The heartless were quiet but not silent, and since they used the same patterns every attack it became easy to take them out without even thinking about it.

After slashing through the shadow, he had forced it down to the ground, causing the dark creature to writhe on the ground for a bit, however, it soon managed to pick itself back up as Stratos had landed back on the ground. The large neo shadow didn't seem to be any bit fit for fighting, a hand of it missing and a large amount of wounds riddling the creature's body. Slashes across its entire body, bleeding some manner of darkness out of it, as the heartless's head continued to twitch around, this time its eyes wildly looking all over the place without any sort of semblance of who was actually before it. Though it was injured, the creature wanted to continue fighting, and with a surprising amount of vigor, the creature began sprint towards Stratos. With a claw raised, large and ready to slash at Stratos, the boy merely brought up his keyblade to guard against the attack. With gravity magic imbuing the boy, his aura flaring up as a result, he managed to stop the attack dead in its tracks, the force behind it being far less than before. Pushing the hand back, the boy spun his keyblade in his hand, thrusting forward with it as it stabbed into the chest of the neo shadow. With that done, the creature stopped moving, its wounds starting to flare up more as the darkness began bleeding more and more until it finally exploded into a mist of dark smoke. With that done, Stratos merely swung his keyblade around in a flourish, denoting his victory against the creature.

As he was beginning to get back into the fray, he heard Aislinn call out to him, asking him about himself. Her questions had been geared towards why he had joined the SOS group to begin with, and why he had ever wanted to become a master. As he was about to answer, Stratos had realized that he never actually thought about the answer to this question, or at least not in quite some time. He realized that he probably hadn't been apart of the SOS group for more than a year, and yet he felt like there was no time in his life where he wasn't with them, jumping around worlds and fighting heartless just because it was what his life was. Outside of that, he had never actually thought about what it meant now that he was a master, also just thinking of it as a mere means to an end just so that they could leave the realm of darkness. Though, he knew the answer was greater than just that. "Well, to be honest," he started, "I only joined this group because it was the only place I feel like would have me. I don't want to get too far into it, but things weren't great back in my homeworld, and I needed to run away from it. I just happened to get a letter from this group around the time to join them, so, that's just what I did." He shrugged. "As for becoming a master, well, yeah. I suppose it's a matter of circumstance more than anything else. I didn't train to become a keyblade wielder, so I didn't even really know they existed until I was taking an exam for them. And we only took the exam in the first place because it was our ticket out of the realm of darkness. I guess also getting these new powers was a bit of a cherry on top." Looking to the woman he said, "how about you? People don't just randomly walk through the realm of darkness and you seemed pretty skilled with a keyblade when we first met. So did you have some apsiration to become a master?"

It was interesting, the idea of being there without really having a reason why he was there. Stratos said he wouldn't go into detail, so Aislinn didn't push, just listening and nodding in response as he spoke and as they fought. For someone who just kind of showed up without a reason why, he was holding his own pretty well. She supposed an escape was as good a reason as any to fight. If joining this and fighting was what it took to make his life better for himself, than who was she to question it. "Well I would say that is a pretty big cherry on top, to be able to become a keyblade master. Really now you have a lot of doors open to you... well that is once we get off this damned island after dealing with all the heartless." Aislinn sighed slighly clearly a little sick of all the heartless, but still doing what she had to do in order to stay alive and keep everyone safe. Turning her attention back to the heartless, Aislinn had been distracted just long enough to force her on the defense for a moment, fending off a few Neoshadows instead of killing them. After a moment of struggle Aislinn managed to force them back and go on the offense herself, clearing time for her to respond to Stratos's question.

"You can say that. I didn't go to the realm of darkness to become a master. I had planned to seek that out elsewhere, but as chance had it I ended up being exactly where I needed to be. I have had a keyblade for a while, I have been training with it for quite a while as well. There was no keyblade masters in my world, or even many people who knew much about it. I met a man who had done some research on the blade, knew a little bit about it, but more so he was a soldier. Keyblades and swords are similar enough he taught me how to fight and that my keyblade was the key to defeating the heartless which we have spent years trying to defend against. Upon resent years they have began to push the line further back. The town is in ever growing danger and with my sister just having had her second child..." Aislinn hesitated for a moment taking that time to fend off another attack. "I needed to become stronger I needed to leave to find a way to increase my skill, perhaps try and meet other keyblade wielders, perhaps master it. If I did that then maybe I would be able to come back and rid my world of the heartless once and for all." So far she was sure it was making sense, but she hadn't explained what had brought her to the realm of darkness, this was perhaps a longer story to tell than Aislinn first had thought.

"Before I left to find someone to train me better, I went onto the front lines with the soldiers, the heartless were pushing hard that day and they were gaining ground. I didn't dare leave until I knew that everyone was safe. It isn't that I didn't trust the soldiers, but I didn't dare do anything to risk the life of my family. When I fighting on the front lines, I went in a little far, got cut off from other soldiers... and that is when I found myself falling into the realm of darkness. At the time I was hopelessly lost, but now I see, it brought me to exactly where I needed to be, because now I am a master, I have the power and I have friends that could possibly help save my world and my family."

Ignis continued her own struggle against the Shadow hoard, having been joined up by both Aislinn and Stratos now. Aislinn had asked Ignis on why she had joined up with the group and Ignis never did give her an answer. She only listen to Stratos as he gave his explanation, if she could really call it that, and then Aislinn giving her backstory. Knocking away some more Shadows, Ignis began to wonder of why she took the job. It wasn't so much the question of "why did she take the job?" but "why take the job when there was other things to do elsewhere?". She didn't really have a good answer on that, and struck down some more Heartless, letting her mind wander. She began to think about the forest she had stayed in for the past four years, and the village that had taken care of her. She also thought about her friend that had stayed by her side even with all of the stupid stunts Ignis pulled at times, and about what her motivations were. Of course, the answer for that one was pretty easy, considering that everything she thought of recently was getting payback, but she tried to steer clear from that line of thinking, figuring now was probably not the best time to get lost in a train of angry thoughts.

Battering away a wandering Darkball that had decided to float around and join their little party, Ignis continued to bat away at her enemies. She wondered if she really wanted to answer the question on why she joined at all. It only made her wonder more about the priorities she had in her own world. Maybe it was simply on a whim that she had joined up with the group, or maybe she was still trying to better herself, but in the end, she had joined up and gotten lost in another realm completely. At the very least, once she had started on something, she wasn't going to let it go, so it wasn't like she was going to up and leave before finishing this fight to the end. A few more Darkballs decided to hover over, perhaps curious what was going on with three keyblade wielders fighting against a giant mass of Heartless, but Ignis didn't care. She tossed her keyblade at the things and knocked them down, lowering the count by a few more.

Continuing to bat away the Heartless, Ignis realized she started to join in on the conversation. "So, we've got one keyblade wielder who kind of just joined the group out of happenstance, basically, and the other who decided to join up because they wanted a place to belong? Well, there's all kinds I guess. Not that I'm one to talk. I've got a world that's basically at war with a single man, and nowhere to call home. Guess that kind of puts me in the middle of the road between you two, huh? Ah well, we ended up together anyways, and it's not like this group wouldn't be entertaining if we weren't a motley bunch, am I right? Not that I really cared about being a keyblade master in the first place. Honestly, before I had the keyblade, I was perfectly fine using a plain old sword. Truthfully, I might give up the keyblade and go back to the sword once this is over. This thing isn't going to do me much good in a world like mine. To me, being labeled as a 'master' just means I've gotten better, and it means I have more of a chance to finish my vendetta against a certain someone."

Stratos listened as Aislinn told him why she was in the realm of darkness and why she was now in the realm of darkness and what lead her to seeking out the power of a master. She told him about her homeworld and how there wasn't much of knowledge as to what a keyblade or keyblade master was for her to figure out, and she also seemed to learn more in actual fighting then she did through any kind of practice. Though, thinking on it, Stratos had barely ever practiced using his keyblade when he had first gotten it as well. In fact, he didn't even have anyone who knew what it was, bar the one man, and had to figure out pretty much all of it on his own. The woman also told him of the state of her homeworld, telling a story that also sounded somewhat similar to his. Though, while his had heartless that threatened their very existence as well, they were more just wild animals that wandered the world and attacked anything nearby. This sound more like a concerted effort by the darkness itself, actively trying to devour everything in that world. While things might not have been good there, it seemed that everything had ended up working out for Aislinn to reach where she wanted to. It was then that Ignis stepped in as well, talking about how her world had constantly been at war as well, though from the sound of things it wasn't exactly heartless that were at fault for it.

Looking at the both of them, Stratos couldn't help but smile as he jokingly said, "well, it sounds like none of our home situations were all that great. But, we all faced them before," he looked between the two, saying, "well, Ignis and I did at least, and since we're I'm sure we've conquered them once. So now that we're stronger than when we were in that illusion, there's no reason we can't do it again." Looking over to Ignis he said, "meanwhile, I'll probably keep on holding on to this weapon after we're done. I didn't really use a sword before I got this weapon, and really I don't think I've even been using this properly until just now. But, you seem skilled enough with a blade, Ignis, and we've only got up to go from here." Twirling his keyblade around, he said, "well, we at least got another realm to go to first though, and these guys over here," he pointed towards all of the heartless still swarming around, "don't seem too keen on letting us go and do that."

As if on cue, a few neo shadows began to rise from the ground, heads twitching about as they readied their claws to charge at the group. Waving to the two ladies he said, "if you'll excuse me for a second." Sliding across the ground, dashing all the way, the boy slashed out with his keyblade, striking through one such neo shadow. With his blade piercing the heartless, it was struck down instantly, only for the boy to then slam the ground with his blade, saying, "seeker mine." As he did, magic was channeled into the ground creating four small discs of magic. The discs then moved out, seeking the heartless around him and exploding all at once, destroying each and every one of the neo shadows. With the resulting smoke from the explosions and the dark smoke from the bodies of the heartless, it was clear that they were felled by this powerful magic, leaving Stratos to then focus on more oncoming heartless.

Hikaru kept his guard up, with Aux watching his back from behind. Still using his frosty diamond dust aura, Hikaru twirled his keyblade around before firing a blizzaga spell at an oncoming darkball. The darkball froze in place on impact as it began falling to the ground. Watching as the heartless began falling to the ground, Hikaru dealt a quick uppercut with his keyblade and knocked it up into the air. Making sure not to eliminated it on impact, his keyblade uppercut had to be carefully glided as not to destroy the darkside. Using his keyblade like a baseball bat, he hit the darkball in a slapshot like motion causing the darkball to explode in barrage of tiny ice-like crystals, the other darkballs scattering their tilted heads from the impact. Hikaru began to run at one of the dazed darkballs and balanced itself on it's head, almost as if he was having fun.

"Hey, Aux, wanna see how good your batting arm is?"
Aux had at this point, just eliminated his own darkball by dragging it's chain down to his eye level and slashing it with his keyblade. He turned to Hikaru to see what he wanted and raised an eyebrow at the question. "What the heck does that mean?"
Hikaru was holding out his arms to find a right amount of balance while the darkball continued to tilt it's head left and right, unaware that Hikaru was on it's head. "You know, like baseball!"
Baseball was something that Aislinn had spoken to Aux about before prior to the whole little singing moment that he'd much rather forget. She had mentioned something regarding to never play baseball among woodland creatues. He was still debating in his head as to whether or not that was an actual experience that girl had come across, or if it was all a fever dream she had come up with in her head. Regardless, he had no idea what exactly baseball was, but it seemed like most people in this group did. "What's baseball?"

Hikaru had never fully talked with Aux about sports. Which is odd seeing as how some one with Aux's physique could easily dominate in a sport like Football, Rugby or Hockey. Aux rarely talked about his home world, but now that he had his memories back, he should've been able to recognize more about himself. There was plenty he wanted to ask his friend, but for now he wanted to just get in some pitches. "Never mind... Look, I'm going to knock the darkballs your way, and you hit them as hard as you can!"
Aux wasn't exactly sure where his friend was going with this, but as long as he could hit something, he didn't see the harm in trying. He was confused as to why he didn't just say 'hit them' in the first place. "Got it," he nodded, holding his keyblade over his shoulder.
"You don't wanna use two hands?" In baseball, the batter would always hold the bat with both hands to get a better swing for a homerun.
"Why would I need two?" Aux yelled from fifty meters away.
Hikaru shrugged and shook his head knowing that Aux wasn't getting the concept. He also knew he could probably have enough power in just one arm than he would ever need with two. "Never mind!" he yelled back. With that out of the way, Hikaru held both hands on his keyblade and made a slapshot at the darkball towards heartless, landing back on the ground. He jumped up and did the same with a couple of others as he watched them head towards Aux. Glaring at the oncoming heartless, Aux used one hand and slashed away at the darkballs, causing them to be eliminate on contact. Aux didn't have the baseball stance of maneuver, but at least they were defeated.

Kaida rested herself on the tree and peered over as everyone started taking down these heartless very quickly. She was starting to feel like she was not pulling her weight and that only made her a bit angry at herself. Not like, Karina levels of angry at herself but maybe Aux levels. The girl began shooting fireballs and giant bells of thunder at the shadows with no mercy in her eyes as she attempted to off several more of these guys. Pipsqueak was back at it again with the coconut throwing to add to the projectile count, though it only seemed to stun while Kaida did the work.

None to his surprised, his first time use of faith had indeed attracted another group of heartless That cleared up what little doubt about what was attracting them, making it another thing that Kel could possible use to his advatage. It wouldn't be now of course, he was preoccupied with preparing to deal with the current batch of heartless moving in on him. Using faith had fortunately lessen the would be affects of him losing strength, but unlike all of his physical abilities, he knew for a fact that he wouldn't have been able to cast multiple spells back and forth. The fact that his faith spell had even done that much damage was still a surprise to him. The heartless had finally reached him, to be exact it was a lone darkball with a shadow riding on its back. An interesting tactic, but a futile one nonetheless as Kel simply had to swat them away. It was quite comical actually, watching the darkball and shadow fly off towards a nearby tree. Once more he felt a tiny bit bad for the shadow and it was sandwiched between both the tree and the darkball. If that was their front lines, then dealing with the rest should be easier in theory. Looking outward Kel immediately recognized them as neoshadows. He'd certainly got well acquainted in fighitng them before and this should be no different. His armor made a thunderous sound as he ran on to meet the heartless head on.

The heartless didn't fear the oncoming threat to their life and face it head on. Their fear meant not to him, even if they seemed to only fear either the strange or the very unusual. Like the neoshadow that had hulked up after eating another shadow and proceeded to go on a rampage. It wasn't a pretty sight, nor a fun fight at all. Kel shuddered at the possibility of that happening again. The bright side was that none of the heartless themselves seemed to be willing to experience that either. Had to be because of the risk involved, namely the being wiped out by their own kind. Completely understandable. When the first wave of strikes came from the neoshadows, Kel was quick to dispatch of them in a single swipe. His strength was still waning, but he didn't let that impede on his progress. More and more he cut through the heartless that were standing in his path. Slowly and slow he continued to cut through them all. He continued to get weaker with each strike and it was starting to show. Holding up his keyblade became more of a chore and his shoulders sagged harshly. The wisps that formally flowed off his armor were now a full blown stream at this point. The connections were there and as clear as day, but there wasn't much that he could do to combat the affects. The condition got slightly better with each heartless slain, but in the grand scheme of things it did little to help him overall. If there had to be one benefit to all this, it was the fact that each attack that managed to hit him in his weaken state was weakened by the armor. A very slight benefit. All of the heartless around him had all been slain, but a whole new batch was fast approaching. To make matters worse, behind them was another pair of heartless that he's grown familiar with. Invisible. Both of which commanding their own separate group and all of where were poised to strike. Seeing that, Kel had no choice but to deal with this lack of strength and fight until he couldn't move no more.

Luna looked at the armor that Kel had acquired, and listened as he answered. "I don't know and again I don't know." She raised her eyebrows before speaking. "Fair enough, fair enough." She shrugged her shoulders slightly but was still a little shocked over the entire thing. As the battle raged on, Luna continued to fight against the dwindling heartless. She sliced through another darkball and another darkball. She looked over to see Kel continue fighting against the heartless. She looked closer and saw that Kel was getting weaker and weaker. She ran back over to Kel and turned around facing her back to Kel's back. "Thought I should lend a hand. You're looking a little tired." Luna jumped up and the moon had rose up behind her. "Artemis helps us in our time of need!" Light had begun to shine down the area around Kel and Luna. "Heal our wounds with this divine light!" She raised her keyblade before swiping it to her right. "Pale Cascade!!" The moon had begun shining its light down onto the area. The light had reached Kel and begun to heal him. Luna landed back onto the ground and immediately casted a Blizzaga spell at 2 darkballs nearby. She had her back face Kel once again. "Let your stamina be your strength..." She whispered that to herself. She then spoke to Kel. "Are you feeling any better?" Three more darkballs had charged at her as she spoke. One by one, she cut all three down with three strikes. Another two darkballs had flown above Kel. "Kel! Duck!" Luna jumped up and sliced through the heartless. She saw two shadows along with yet another darkball coming towards them. Fire had begun gathering at the tip of her blade. She then aimed and shot the fire ball at one of them before shooting another at the other shadow and the darkball. Luna let out a sigh and caught her breath before turning back to Kel. "How are you holding up? Any better? You should be at same level of stamina as I do!" She walked over and looked over at Kel to make sure he was alright, like a good friend would.

When she had finished talking, Ignis finally got her thoughts together and started to explain for herself why she was there. It certainly seemed like a sort of middle ground between them. And like Stratos said none of their home situations were great, but they spoke of concurring them in an illusion. Aislinn wasn't totally sure what they were talking about with that, likely something that happened before she had arrived. If she remembered correctly she had caught bits and pieces about something like that when she had first arrived, but there was nothing directed at her and nothing really fully explained. Given that she didn't want to jump to too many conclusions just basing them off of scraps of information that she had gotten. Aislinn also wasn't totally sold on what Stratos was saying. Sure he was trying to be positive and she appreciated that, but it wasn't that easy. There wasn't any way of just overcoming this without a huge war. Sure she was sure that with some help and more training she could lead a proper assault, but Aislinn doubted that she would ever be able to fully rid her world of the heartless, if she was the only one wielding a keyblade.

"I wish that I could say with that much confidence that I could go back and face my world and be fine, that after this I could just walk back head held high and take on whatever lay before me. But you must understand this is a war against the heartless without anyone equipped to face the heartless. Look around us, this is what my world is like, all the time, except it spans across the world, my city is the only safe haven left. Power of the keyblade master or not, look how many of us it is taking to deal with these heartless, I fear I will not have the strength to go back and face it alone only a small army of commoners behind me, that is if the darkness didn't swallow the rest of the world when it swallowed me. The most I can hope for is that my sister and her family survived and are safe. If nothing else I want to use this new power to protect them." Aislinn admitted softly. She didn't want to sound discouraging, but there had been a lot on her mind for the last little while, and she couldn't help but think on it. "But I hope that the strength and bonds you guys have made here will carry you all through your situations into the light of day on the other side. I am more than confident that you are both strong enough that you can change your fate, make it whatever you want. After all, when prayers turn to promises, not even fate can stand in your way." Aislinn gave the two a small smile before Stratos took off and Aislinn followed lead jumping back into the battle to help fend off some darkballs that started to close in on them, filling in the openings that the Neoshadows left.

As one of the dark balls surged forward to try and bite at her, Aislinn dodged out of the way, swinging it around and bashing it into another two, sending them flying closer to a large group of them. From there she jumped into the middle of the large group, with little regard of her safety as she started spinning on her toes, taking out as many as would surround her, not giving any a moment of rest. Even as the shadows tried to jump in and join, Aislinn allowed them no mercy, as suddenly once what had been a large group was reduced to nothing more than a cowering shadow.

While Kel was fully ready and willing to fight off the heartless force that was heading his way despite his weakened condition, fortune had smiled upon him as Luna had moved to covered his back. It was appreciated, very much so. "Thanks, I can still fight though." And he fully intended to. So long as he was still standing, nothing would change that fact. From behind he heard Luna proclaim something behind him before things got noticeably brighter around him. Kel looked both up and around to see that a moon had appeared overhead and was radiating a bright light that shone down upon him.The light had served to accomplish two separate things, the first was to surprise the heartless as well as keep them at pay from the unknown light source. The second purpose however, was likely the most important one. As Kel bathed in the moonlight, the flow of darkness that had been seeping out of his armor had ceased completely and Kel was feeling very much rejuvenated. He had to have been on the brink of collapsing for right now he felt like the complete opposite. Full on stamina and energy, all ready to face down the heartless threat. "Much better in fact." Kel said, eagerly and unaware of the two darkballs that had chosen to strike down on him from above. He'd barely managed to hear Luna's head's up in time and moved out of the way, allowing her to strike down the two heartless. It seemed like the moonlight had not only regained his stamina, but given him equal stamina as Luna. Just how much stamina did she have then? "So that's what it was then. I feel a lot better then I did before." And it was time to show just how much better he felt, With the heartless resuming their approach, Kel armed himself with his keyblade and went on the offensive.

His sights were first set upon two shadows heartless that had tried to attack Luna while her back was turned. The mere instant those heartless had jumped out from their puddled formed, Kel was there to bring about a swift end to the two of them. "Just returning the favor." He said to Luna, it being the least that he could after all that she had just dome for him. The dark wisps had made a brief return around him and for a good second he felt his strength fade, however he was still currently within the glow of the makeshift moon. Thus it wasn't long before that strength he had appeared to lost had come right back. That was perfect actually. The moonlight counteracted the affects of this dark armor he was wearing. He found that to ironic in it own special way, but dwelled on it not. Instead he braced himself for the swarm of darkballs that were coming his way. With each...floating motion they made that brought them closer, it would appear in which they were laughing. Their numbers had evidently given them quite the confidence boost despite how past encounters with them had gone. In fact it also discounted the fact that two of them were dispatched with great ease by Luna. Maybe that was what they figured as by having greater numbers, their chances of both survival and victory would increase. Suffice to say that was not the case at all. Still a bit on the low side when it came to magic, he couldn't unleash another faith spell upon them and it didn't matter too much to him. There were other spells in his arsenal that would do quite the same amount of damage. For example seeing as they were all still grouped together, Kel first casted graviga which pinned them all to the ground. Now they were easy targets for a firaga spell, one that was laced with darkness given it a much larger and wider range of destruction. Kel of course had not think the spell do that much and the orange and black flame pillar that formed as a result completely threw him off.

The blonde was loving the fact there was far less now than there were before. She dared not even call it a horde anymore considering how scattered and confused the rest of the shadows were. If any were left together, they were more in scattered groups with one or two stragglers popping around trying to jump at the rest of her team. Kaida felt a lot better at this point about just diving in. She ducked down to try and get more of a boost from her jump, and leapt off the tree: jumping into a group of around twenty.

Kaida began swinging around her keyblade, keeping up some of her well-trained footwork and trying to add in a bit of flair to her attacks. Not because she thought anyone was watching, but the brief release of a keyblade twirling upwards allowed her wrist to rest even if it was short. She slashed from all angles, going at a speed where if the shadows tried to count how many hits they were getting... they could probably could guess if they had the brain capacity to do so, but it would at the very least seem like there were more hits than they were. Soon, after a death of a thousand cuts, the first group poofed away slowly, one by one as she stabbed into them getting her last hits on each one.

She ran towards a second group and immediately went in with firaga blasting towards the center. As she jumped in, Kaida seemed to just radiate the fire she blasted at them, she slashed even more with vigor. This time, she decided to try and end it with her red flash, where fire and ice clashed together at once just to make everything end in a colorful explosion. Kaida was most definitely having a good time now.

AJ faced off on the sand like floor of the island ready to battle the darkball heartless. The area was not all that wide enough for him to fight that well but he was going to have to make due with what he had. He had gotten himself surrounded by these darkball heartless so he was the one that was going to have to get himself out of it. He slowly drew up his blade ready to use it. All the while, he was holding the darkball heartless firmly in his gaze. He turned his neck from left to right and back again looking for the perfect way to attack. He shrugged his shoulders, smiled, and slowly brought one foot behind his back and stood in a defensive stance. The fight was on. He rushed at the darkball heartless. He dipped and weaved right as he was about to reach the darkball heatless and slashed downwards with the knife in his hand. The darkball heartless was able to doge out of the way. He was quick and uppercut slashed at the darkball heartless once again. The darkball heartless sfloted to the right just enough and the blade passed by the darkball. Before he could respond with a follow-up, the darkball heartless swiftly spinned at him, knocking the wind out of him for a moment, and stunning him for a brief moment. He was able to make quick blow for for another attack and the darkball heartlessfloted there. With a simple sidekick into the darkball heartless he sent the darkball heartless back a bit. He followed that up with a quick rising uppercut to the darkball heartless.

From the corner of his eye, he could see many of the smaller shadow heartless sinking into the ground and heading right for him. He dashed back and began to sprint far from the heartless. He whacked his way through the wave of minor heartless trying to reach the other combatants. He noticed that fighting the once adament heartless seemed relatively easy to him now. He kept moving around until an neoshadow blocked his path. He froze in place, backing up a bit. He was still in the same area and only moved so that he was not hit by the masive heartles wave. He stuck down with his sword and missed. He manage to race around behind the heartless before hitting the heartless with a kick. Doing massive damage and causing the heartless to finally disapear. With having managed to destroy a large swath of heartless, he looked around of an opening to run through to take get away from this horde. Unfortuntly there did not seem to be any as there were still heartless everywhere. With blade in hand, the boy began to look around at the heartless. Of course, in front of him to start with was two more of those neo shadow creatures. Regardless, he began to ran at them, and the Neo Shadows in turn charged at him. The first of the Neo Shadows seemed to flop down to the ground, and began spinning at him. he was unsure of what was looking at, but the heartless seemed to be more like a wheel of raw slashing power that he wanted to not deal with at all. And so, as the spinning heartless moved towards him, he jumped over the heartless and did a back cut with his weapon. He then blocked the next attack as another of the Neo Shadows jumped into the air. Bringing its claw down close to him. Swinging his blade against the air, the slashes soon grew in size as the two neo shadows were instantly dispatched of.

Ignis watched as a Shadow jumped at her, trying to get its own two cents in. She swatted it away effortlessly, wondering why these things couldn't just get it through their heads that they weren't going to get to them. At the very least the crowd had thinned by a fair margin, to the point that while they still covered a good chunk of the ground, at least Ignis could make out some semblance of sand beneath them. As she continued to bat away Heartless, she listened as Stratos and Aislinn talked about their own situations. When Aislinn began talking about her homeworld a little more, Ignis couldn't help but let out a little sarcastic laugh. She didn't mean to, but it had somewhat become a reflex for her when she started to hear people go on about their own problems.

She coughed a little, red in the face at the blatant rudeness that came out. "Sorry, didn't mean to laugh at your problems. I was just thinking that I'd honestly prefer to take Heartless in my own world versus the problems we currently have. Truthfully, I'd rather deal with a never ending army of these things if it meant that we had a way to fight back. The past four years I've been in a forest, fighting to keep whatever monsters came out from across the way, and I've noticed that lately I haven't made a single difference. Not only that, but it's likely that there are even more monsters than before. And while I wish the problem was as simple as just "monsters multiplying quickly", it's actually been a nut-job who thinks he's trying to "save the world by getting rid of its lies". On top of that, I've recently learned that he's actually been teamed up with a group of absurdly powerful people that, quite honestly, makes the fight between Shiro and that old guy over there look like a kiddie fight. Oh, and did I mention that these guys are apparently immortal? So yeah, there's that too. Apparently they've been spending years somehow learning to create an army of monsters and sending them out into the world, and worst yet, the things actually take orders. Having an army of monsters is one thing, but having one that can take human commands and follow orders like a proper military? There's something wrong with that. If I'm being honest with myself, I have no clue how I'm going to deal with it, and to a point, I don't really care; all I care about is taking the head of that guy and getting payback for what he did four years ago."

She took another slash at the heartless, noticing that her grip on her keyblade had tightened out of frustration. She sent out some flames to burn the heartless around them and noticed a couple Darkballs coming down and a Neoshadow jumping up at her at the same time. She leaped up and got on top of one of the Darkballs, dodging the Neoshadow's attack. While on top of the Darkball, she tossed her keyblade to the others that were floating about and then stabbed the one she was standing on. Of course, this also meant that she was falling down, but she had aimed herself right for the Neoshadow. Out of instinct or some other stupid reason, the Neoshadow jumped at Ignis to attack, and Ignis simply brought her keyblade down, letting gravity add to the effect, and cut the Heartless right down the middle. She landed on the bridge, causing it to rattle and shake a little. She figured it probably was a good idea not to fall from that height again and land with all her weight on a bridge that looked like it was about to fall apart.

Steel was in a predicament. While he had been dealing with the threat of the wind-based Invisible, the water one had apparently been gathering enough energy for a gigantic tidal wave. Yeah, he hadn't really been able to find an effective way to dodge that as he was now...

Now coughing and sputtering, he lamented that he had not paid more attention to the turtle-like entity earlier. He doubted the shell could be penetrated very easily, but leaving it to its own devices had clearly been a mistake. Speaking of which, the stop spell on the earth Invisible should have worn off at that point. Gathering a Firaga spell in his hand, Steel allowed only a moment for the heat to dry him out a bit before tossing it rather unceremoniously at the first of the three fiends. Thankfully, after a whoosh and a piercing shriek, the heartless disintegrated into smoke and dust. As if the antics of the other two weren't enough, the last thing he needed was someone throwing stop spells at him.

With the first of the threats neutralized, he turned his attention back to the other two heartless. Just in time, it seemed, for he had almost taken a sword to the face. He dodged to the side as the wind fiend came at with an indignant fury. However, Steel suspected that while he was avoiding being filleted, the water fiend was likely charging up for another tidal wave. He took a peek when he could and sure enough, there was more water cascading around a lone shell. Since he definitely didn't feel like nearly drowning again anytime soon, Steel blasted the wind fiend with a Graviga spell. Whilst it was being comically flattened into the ground, he sent a Thundaga spell towards the water fiend. The idea was that the electricity would course through the water and be channeled into the heartless. He knew his idea had hit the mark once the water abruptly dissipated with no signs of recondensing.

With both of his opponents down, Steel would give them no chance to recover. Blasting out another Thundaga spell, he smirked with satisfaction as the second of his opponents vanished into the dark aether from whence heartless came. Turning back to the fiend in the strange, long, blonde wig, he charged with full force as it only just raised its blade in defense. Rather than remain in the blade lock for overlong, Steel instead chose to snap at its face with his particularly sharp teeth. This distracted it long enough for him to kick it into the air, a kick that was quite imbued with the natural force of his speed. It would be up there for awhile. Whilst that particular problem was ascending at breakneck speeds, he took a moment to place seeker mines on the ground around him. Looking back up at the sky, Steel carefully timed his next spell just as the Invisible was reaching the apex of its ascension height.

    It was a Graviga spell.

The wind fiend came careening down even faster than it had ascended, and Steel backflipped away to avoid being caught in the explosion that resulted from his enemy smashing into the volatile magic at near sonic speeds. So that was three down, in addition to all the additional heartless caught in all of his various blasts. That left just one more of the four fiends remaining, along with the summoner. As he turned towards the two, the Invisible in the red cloak stepped forward to meet his challenge. Steel himself took his stance as the two squared off, going through his combat options silently. The color of the cloak at first glance implied a fire-based opponent, but he felt himself lacking any confidence that he could end this with a quick ice spell.

Luna looked behind her a bit to see Kel strike down two shadows behind her. She gave him her thanks before turning head back toward a group of five shadows that were headed toward her. She charged toward them and within a minute, the group of five had been vanquished. As she turned back around, two darkballs were about to launch an attack on Kel. She immediately pointed her blade at the ground as she ran. "Wind, carry my feet once more!! Aeroga!!" The wind had immediately launched Luna from where she was on land and into the air. She flew overhead the two darkballs and began making her descent back to the ground. She then began spinning, head first, as if she was a fast moving windmill. As she reached the ground, the blade cut through the two darkballs and back onto the ground. Luna had continued spinning until she reached the ground. As the keyblade landed in the sand, she pushed herself off the blade and landed back on her feet. She ran over to her blade to pull out of the sand and then gave a thumbs up to Kel before running off again.

Luna continued running until she came up onto another group of five shadows. She stopped in her tracks and looked over at the shadows. "I'm not one for tiresome repetition but this is getting quite exasperating." A blue light began illuminating from the tip of Luna's keyblade as she started to raise it. She pointed it at the five shadows before casting her Blizzaga spell. "Freeze!!" The shadows had been encased in ice as Luna turned around, her back facing the ice. She then snapped her fingers and the ice had immediately shattered with the shadows still encased. "Repetition or not, the fight must continue." She let out a sigh before running back into the battle

As she continued running, she started to slow down as she saw shadows crawling up a sort of puddle beneath each of them. Her eyes widened slightly before turning around and seeing ten shadows surrounding her. She immediately grabbed her blade once again. Each shadow had emerged from their own dark puddle. She looked all around her, blade still in hand. After a few moments, an idea had struck her. She spun around with her keyblade still at her side before raising it up into the air. As she raised it, several mines had appeared around her. She placed her blade back into the sand before leaning on it a little. She raised her hand and then snapped her fingers. As she did, the mines had charged toward each of the ten shadows that were surrounding her. Each mine had went off, sending the shadow into the air and disappearing. Luna picked up her blade and looked around her to see no other shadows around her. Before she could catch her breath, a neoshadow had snuck up on her and attacked her with its claw. She rolled against the sand before looking over at the heartless. "That was a terrible mistake you just made." Luna got back onto her feet as the neoshadow was running toward Luna once again. She readied her blade as the neoshadow drew closer and closer. Before the neoshadow could strike, Luna unleashed a flurry of strikes. She sliced through the heartless in many different directions before running her blade straight through it. She flicked her blade to the side as the neoshadow disappeared. Luna turned around and spoke. "Let that be a lesson. Think before you act." She took a moment to breathe before returning to the battlefield.

He immediately pointed his blade at the ground as he stood there. As he stood there the blade cut through the two darkballs heartless that were there. After the last wave of heartless had been dealt with he thought that the heartless were somehow thinning. He had a feeling that this would not last that long. He knew that soon enough somehow more heartless would come out of no where. No sooner had he thought this then over the heads of some of like five shadows, who at this point seemed weak, rose several dark balls. With a spin, kick and slash of his weapon he took the five shadows out and then the darkballs made there way towards him. With blade in hand, the boy began to make his move towards the side as a large collection of darkballs made there way towards him. Some of the darkball heartless seemed to be far fatter around then the ones he fought before. They were defently different then the regular darkball heartless. Staring at the strange creature, it looked back at him as well, a feral look in its beady eyes as it readied its self for attack. Throwing his almost dull makeshift knife at one of the darkballs. The darkball exploded lunching some unknown purple liquid out from its self. Thankfully it did not get on him. Now some of the heartless around him had a purple glow to them. He was given a short break upon the exploding darkball. After the falling of so many heartless why they still came after him was beyond him. He was felling the massive heartless battle was just beginning. To make matters worse, another darkball had floated its way over to where hr was. Surprisingly none of the heartless had made an another move to attack him again yet. This was despite clearly having the numbers advantage against him. Yes he did just prove time and time again that he was not going down without a fight. It was likely that their strongest force out of all of them was there number not the strength of one heartless but one of many. Him fight or they being gone for good would only last so long. Who made it longer it was hard to say at this point.

This one heartless was clearly sporting a cocky look on its face as it looked down upon him. Not to mentioned that it was had floated down and stared him down from its higher position. This heartless was challenging him wasn't it. It had a expressions on its face that said all of this. He would have been all to happy to take this darkball out. To take it in this challenge seeing as it clearly wanted it, but the moment he took a single step forward a good five more dark balls joined in. He let out a sigh. This battle seemed like it was never going to end. It was the battle that went on and on. The never ending battle fighting the heartless. It may have been brief, but still long enough for him to pick up another piece of bark and use that as his new weapon seeing at the last makeshift knife was long gone. He was able to deliver a devastating lunch to one more of the dark balls heartless and sending it flying back into the crowd in a fiery explosion. He was not sure why some of these darkball were exploding but he was going to try and not question it. Gripping his weapon tighter, the boy was ready to make another run at the darkball swarm that was ready to attack him. It had appeared that he somehow had managed to get the darkballs to slow down. They were slowed down for now but he knew that they would attack soon.

Looking over, Aislinn looked at Ignis with sympathy in her eyes. She never meant for this to be a who's life is worse contest, but in the end, she would have to say that Ignis won in that category. Aislinn knew nothing about what sort of family the girl had, if they were still alive, if she was trying to protect them, but at least Aislinn knew that she had a lovely family that she was going to fight for. Perhaps the heartless had taken her world, perhaps her family was gone, but Aislinn still held hope that the front lines were still holding. That the town was secure and her sister and sweet children were still safe and alive in their little corner of the village, safely guarded by the man that Sarah had chosen to marry. It wasn't that Aislinn didn't like her husband, but they often didn't see eye to eye when it came to the war against the heartless. What Aislinn did know though, was that he loved his wife and children and would do anything for them. She knew that no matter how much they disagreed on some things, their love for Sarah was the same, so Sarah would always be safe with him, that was something that she never doubted.

"I am sorry to hear that Ignis. I wouldn't jump on throwing away your keyblade for a sword just yet though. I don't know what these men or these creatures on your world are like, but it could perhaps be helpful in that fight as well. And if not, know you always have friends to lean on. You won't have to go in there alone." Aislinn didn't know if she could talk for anyone else, but she was willing to fight for and help any one of the warriors that surrounded her during this battle. She wouldn't let any of them have to face their battles alone if they didn't want to. That being said she wasn't going to push her help on anyone that didn't want it either. They all had their own problems, and Aislinn did have to return home, but she had the advantage of hope. She knew in her situation there was plenty of hope for the future and hope that things hadn't gone totally wrong yet. She could hold on to that hope to push herself forward. By the sounds of the situation Ignis described, hope wasn't as present, it was a hard battle that she had ahead of her and it was driven by revenge. While revenge was certainly a driving factor for people to do things, Aislinn didn't believe it to be a stable driving factor. You needed something better than negative emotions, but now was not the time to lecture anyone on that.

Turning her attention back to heartless, Aislinn got ready to fight another swarm of the darkballs that were biting and gnashing at her, slowly closing in to trap her into a circle. It was kind of cute that they though that tactic would would for them when so many other heartless had failed. She wasn't that easy to take down, not even after the few hits that she did sustain, she still was going strong. With no opening in sight, Aislinn decided to make one. She waited until the Heartless crowded around more before letting time slow, cherry blossoms fall, and the sheer power behind this ability envelope her. With a deep exhale, she took off towards the spot where the heartless were at their thickest. Soon none remained, and Aislinn was left standing on the other side of them, staring back at the broken circle that had once attempted to take her down, now left to scatter slightly before preparing their next assault.
