Beuce gazed up at the towering figured above them, clearly the most threatening of the heartless they'd encountered. Stratos appeared to be going toe to toe with one, barely managing to hold on with a barrage of spells. "Hey! Hold it off for a sec, I got an idea!" Now nevermind the fact that Stratos was clearly already doing that, but whatever. This was going to be cool. A light enveloped Beuce, indicating a change in job. It was a job he'd been using fairly frequently lately. His cape had been replaced by flowing streamers wrapping around his arms and seemingly animated of their own accord. That combined with his primarily blue outfit indicated that he was now in his summoner state. "Well...I've never actually tried this before, but it worked for everything else, so here goes nothing!" He twirled his keyblade around and eventually locked it in place parallel to the ground, his arms outstretched. His flesh arm gripped the keyblade, while the glass one had its palm flat against the back of that one. "Two sides of the mirror, power of the warrior and power of the mystic, transcend the barrier and become a force to reach out and take hold of the very heavens themselves!" The two blades of his keyblade instantly began to shimmer with an energy of the corresponding color. Gradually, they seemed to transmit their power down the keychain toward the other blade. With rapid pulses of power, the lights began to merge together into one blinding force. "Resound throughout all creation! Dichromatic Resonance!"

The keyblade now let off an aura with a consistency similar to that of steam. Some of it was red, and some of it was blue, but where one ended and the other began was impossible to tell. Beuce meanwhile, seemed to radiate with a light to a similar effect, outlining his form. He stabbed the keyblade into the ground and placed his hands on either side of it, channeling magic into it as quickly as he could. "Awaken, Thundagolem!" The ley lines that formed the sigil with the keyblade in the center began to crackle with a yellow electricity, as they had any previous times he'd summoned the same creature. However, this time was different. With that keyblade specifically exercising its full power to merge the realms of might and magic, the lines trembled and shook the ground as they were filled with physical might. Finally, The summoning seemed to be complete as an enormous column of lightning channeled upward out of the summoning circle and into the sky, leaving a silhouette of an enormous figure, easily rivaling the darkside in sheer stature.

Normally, the golems were just amorphous, vaguely humanoid embodiments of their elements, but this one in addition to being larger, was much more solid. It had a physical body, in addition to being made of electricity. It seemed outright solid, and the crackling energy that formed its body curved and bent into what appeared to be ever-shifting muscles. It stood from a crouching position and rolled its shoulders, before menacingly tilting its head and staring daggers at the darkside, who seemed to now notice this newfound threat. Though, it wasn't until the Thundagolem made its move that the darkside truly realized the depth of things. With blinding speed entirely unbecoming of its massive form, It leaped an incredible distance into the air and propelled itself downward at the darkside striking like roiling thunder from the sky, crashing into the ground with explosive force and electrocuting the heartless. Debris plumed into the air as it collided with the ground. The golem stood tall and looked to Stratos with a nod, acknowledging him as the ally of its summoner. With a flex, it invited challenge from the darkside which had by now recovered from the attack.

It seemed in addition to a body, it had been given some level of self awareness as opposed to it just being an autonomous construct of magic designed to cast its spells until it was completely out of power, at which point it evaporated. Perhaps it had something to do with now being directly linked to the embodiment of Beuce's heart, his keyblade. It gave Beuce a fair bit of pause. If that was what it turned his golems into by being linked to his heart...What did that say about him? He mimicked the thundagolem's pose as several encroaching heartless and had never felt so empowered in his life. Turns out, this was the best idea he'd ever had.

He moved forward slightly and unleashed a flurry of blows before the one of the darkballs heartless could escape. His combo hitting was successful as the one of the darkball heartless faded into darkness. From the corner of his eye, he could see many of the smaller shadow heartless sinking into the ground and heading right for him. He moved back and began to stand far from the heartless as he could. He whacked his way through the wave as they mad there way towards him. The heartless were trying to reach him still desite his fighting style. He noticed that fighting the once adament heartless seemed relatively easy to him now. Was it something to do with becoming a master? Regardless, he felt he had grown as both a keyblade wielder and as a person. He kept moving until the large darkball blocked his path. He froze in place, backing up a bit at the size of the above average darkball heartless. He backed up and use his back ended up next to the same palm tree. While he wasn't the fastest, he thin he could manage to race around behind the heartless before hitting the heartless with his knife. The power of the knife did a number on the darkball heartless, doing massive damage and causing the heartless to decrease in speed. Seizing his opportunity, he unleashed a quick torrent of slashes before the darkball heartless finally dispersed. He continued to look around for any of the massive darkball heartless he had never seen before before backing up slowly. His back eventually hit something, as he was stunned before turning around. and saw that it was still the palm tree. With his slashing of heartless having managed to destroy a large swath of them.

It would do him no good to try and destroy every last heartless that was here and instead it was better to slowly destroy the ones in front of him to systematically lower their numbers. Perhaps at some point he might see the others and they would then try to destroy some. Through his combined efforts he would be able to get through this swarm of heartless with no problem. Of course, in front of him to start with was two of those darkball heartless shadow creatures that he had run into before. While he was fast enough to not get hit he was not taking any chances. At this point some more darkballs formed a swarm behind him. Regular shadows were far slower in comparison to their more matured versions. As such, he could not just run past the darkballs and expect to continue fighting them. More to the point, he could not actually just kill them in an instant either, as they had proven to be more difficult to actually land a blow on then their smaller counterparts. Add to the fact that while in this state of his he could not actually.

Regardless, he began to ran at them, and the darkball was ready for him. The first of the darkballs seemed to flop down to the ground trying to stop what he was doing. The darkball then began spinning at him. He was unsure of what was looking at, but the darkball heartless seemed to be more like a wheel of raw slashing power that he wanted to not deal with at all. so, as the spinning darkball heartless moved towards him, he jumped over the heartless. he brought his blade into it by shoving the blade backwords killing the darkball. Bringing his blade up into a guard, he then blocked the next attack as another of the darkballs came his way.

As Stratos had rush through all of the heartless, his zantetsuken had ended with a simple slash through all of them, the cherry blossoms fluttering in the wind and rushing in the direction Stratos had moved. The dark side heartless paused a bit, caught off guard by the attack, only to then slowly turn towards Stratos. The keyblade master in question was currently hanging in the air, a result of his last attack, only to begin slowly descending towards the ground and landed softly onto it. As Beuce had shouted out to Stratos that he needed to be bought some time, the boy looked over to him and gave a nod in acknowledgement. He hadn't actually known that Beuce had come over here with him to begin with, nor did he actually know what he had to do differently to actually help buy the older keyblade master some time, but he at least acknowledged that that was what he had to do now. Twirling his keyblade around, Stratos looked over to the dark side, and began to run towards it to start distracting it.

The dark side brought up its hand, smashing its palm into the ground to try and squash Stratos. The boy had managed to stop and dodge roll backward in time, avoiding the attack of the large heartless, but still being knocked off balance by the result shockwave of the attack, a light tremor being felt through his feet. As he was knocked off balance, another neo shadow had seen fit to come and strike at him, rushing from the side with claws at the ready, the creature swept them at the boy. Barely managing to get his guard up in time, the boy managed to deflect the claw attack though was still knocked off his already off balanced feet. Being knocked onto the ground, the neo shadow ran towards him, leaping into the air and attempting to dive down on him. Bringing the keyblade up, the boy created a small ball of flame launching the firaga from his keyblade at the airborne heartless. The explosive force intercepted the airborne heartless and managed to destroy it. Picking himself up from his prone position, the boy's eyes went wide as the dark sides fist was beginning to descend down towards him.

It was then that the fist stopped, the dark side being stunned as a large collection of lightning arced across its body, the heartless seemingly being electrocuted. Looking at what had done it, Stratos saw a familiar yet different sight in the thunder golem that had appeared on the scene. As it challenged the dark side before it, the boy nodded back to the golem saying, "thanks for the save." Looking back to Beuce, seeing him in the familiar summoner garb with a strange power he had only actually seen him use once, he merely gave a thumbs up before going back to the fight himself. As it had turned out, the large thunder golem had begun to attract a large amount of attention to itself. The heartless began to converge on the golem's position and seeing two neoshadows begin to bare their claws at the creature, Stratos merely said, "thundaga!" stabbing at the ground with his keyblade. As he did, lightning fell from the sky, striking both of the heartless and killing them, as he moved to look at the dark side. Directing another bolt of lightning at it, he had managed to strike the dark side in the head, though it didn't seem to acknowledge that this was from the keyblade wielder. Instead, it merely wound up its fist and went to punch at the strange golem before it.

Yes bursting out into song was a bit random and weird, but did he really have to stare at her that long? Aislinn was a bit caught off guard as Aux was near frozen just staring at her after she sang to him. Should she explain herself? Did she need to tell him why she did it or was he actually thinking through the lyrics? Did he grasp what she meant by any of that or was she just a weird lady who started singing in a strange fashion as she fought the heartless. Either way it had helped her get through the battle a little more, she hoped that it would also help Aux through it at least a little bit. "Are you doing alright there kiddo? These heartless aren't just going to sit around and wait until you pull yourself together. At the very least you should get into a little more of a defensive position." Aislinn advised as she ran at the darkside, avoiding an attack before slashing at it's ankles a few times.

While Aislinn didn't know what Aux was thinking, if she did, she would have laughed. Aux was only a kid, there was no way that she would be in love with him. She simply wanted to encourage him a little bit in his own life. It has started as an encouragement just for herself, something that Aislinn used to sing to herself at night after her parents died. She would often finish the day after taking care of her sister and feel trapped. She could only do so much with the weight of being responsible for her younger sister on her shoulders. It wasn't that her sister couldn't take care of herself, she was more than capable, but Aislinn always just worried, felt she needed to do more, step into the position of mother, even if she didn't want it. She would sing that song to remind herself that it was still her life to control the way that she wanted to, there was no boundaries but the ones she put up herself. If she wanted to do something different with her life she could make it work, all that she had to do was try and it was in that that she needed the encouragement to see the world open before her.

Taking a deep sigh she looked over at Aux once more deciding that she did need to explain herself at least a little more. "Look kid, between what I heard you say, and what Kaida told me, it sounded like you have been having a rough time with things. I was trying to keep my own moral high, but I thought you could use a little boost too, just to know that whatever happened before, whatever you have gotten yourself into, whoever kidnapped you and forced you into that stupid exam, it doesn't define you and it doesn't bind you. You are a keyblade master now and it is your life to live how you want to live it. After this battle is over I don't know what is beyond for any of us, but don't let the past define you. I myself might just return home, if it is still there to return to. Who knows." Aislinn tried to make things a little less awkward. "I am sorry if it was a bit weird, I find I put my thoughts and feelings to songs I know better than I do trying to explain them myself. What can I say? I love music, it is a part of who I am, and now, it is a part of how I fight." She told him as her musical Aura activated.

Bursting into her level 1 sound aura, Aux could see a bright colour swarming around as it enveloped both her keyblade as well as herself. when she asked if he was doing alright, a small vein popped up in the side of his had as she ended it with kiddo. He couldn't recall when, but for the longest time he had never liked being acknowledged as a child. And not like he was exactly that young as he was eighteen now. True he was still a teenager, but definitely old enough not to be treated like a kid. And why exactly was she talking down to him like she was older, wiser and more experienced? The girl looked like she was no older than him. Maybe even younger in fact. "I uhh... was pretty good before all the singing." He didn't want to hurt her feelings but the sudden burst of spontaneous singing had really thrown him off. He wasn't really sure how to approach Aislinn or make much sense of her at this point. First she started singing, then the probable love confession, it was all just seeming like a bit much. And now on top of things, she was trying to give more life advice, trying to make him feel better for some reason. Why was this woman so involved in what went on in Aux's life?!

Folding his arms and she continued to talk on and on, he was slowly beginning to drown out her worlds, just like he did back in the Pridelands. You are a-" And after listening to about as much as he could possibly care for, he began drowning her out with thoughts about why he was still in the realm of darkness. As somewhat thankful as he was for the free therapy session, it wasn't exactly what he needed right now. What he primarily needed to do was knock some good old damage into the darkside that stood before them. Or in this case, more like beside them depending on which direction they were standing. Either way, he could see the darkside slowly lower it's hand to open another dark portal out of the corner of his eye. Still holding his keyblade, he held up his keyblade effortlessly and swatted away the darkside as if it were a small child trying to dig into a home cooked meal. The damage from his keyblade was great, but the darkside simply remained upset as it shook it's hand in both annoyance and confusion.

Despite her shortcomings, at least she was helping. And the songs were now going to be part of her aura which at the very least was increasing the party's firepower. He considered unleashing his own aura, but knowing it was darkness caused him to be hesitant. He had used so much darkness prior to the mark of mastery exam, that he didn't want to risk watching himself turn into another slave to the darkness. He wasdoing well with his friends and at least trying to get along with the rest of the party. He just couldn't risk it at this point in the fight. Not now.

Of course he didn't like the singing that was too be expected, however the more Aislinn spoke the more that she realized that he was not totally paying attention to her. From what it seemed to her, he began to tune her out, more focusing on the battle at hand. That being said it wasn't a bad thing per say that he wanted to focus on the battle, it was a difficult battle to be had and there was a lot more that they would need to do in order to complete that battle, but Aislinn still found the talking important. She still thing her words needed to be said at some point, even if Aux didn't see it yet. She was sure, sometime in the future, Aux would see the value in her words. Perhaps he wouldn't in the end, perhaps this conversation was worth nothing at all, but Aislinn wanted to at least say that she tried. If she never did try she would regret it forever, it was a bad habit of hers.

Aislinn found herself looking back on a lot of her choices with regret, the things that she didn't do. She didn't do as much as she thought she should. She thought that she should have done more for her sister, or allowed them get some help. She often wondered if her sisters life would have been better if she had taken a lot of the help offered and got them more money. It wasn't that they needed more money, they had done fine on their own, but perhaps Sarah could have finished her schooling in a better school, or gone to college. Maybe she shouldn't have left her family to pursue the keyblade, perhaps it was better if she had stayed and helped raise Elizabeth and Jonah. Maybe none of that mattered at all, perhaps she could have made a difference, perhaps if she took another route something else would have gone wrong instead. It was impossible to tell now, but regret and doubt still weighed on her as she glanced around at the people around her, bringing herself back to reality. If she didn't act soon there would be more regret weighing on her conscious if any of these kids died, not when she had the power and ability to save them. She could save them and would do it whatever the cost was to her.

Diving headlong into the battle Aislinn had to run and jump over a punch from the Darkside. the thing was looking damn well bloodied at this point. They were getting to the end of the battle with the first one, glancing over she noticed that Stratos had started working on the other Darkside. That was going to make things easier when they got over to help, which was rather good. Aislinn almost looked forward to fighting with the other boy, he was a good fighter but she didn't get to work with him as much as she thought she would during the first part of the Mark of Mastery. While they might have been partners, being separated in different versions of the realms made it rather hard to work with each other. Even so he shared in the victory of the Mark of Mastery with her, and it was a great feeling. Now she was going to actually fight alongside him properly and they would earn another victory together, with the help of those around. The idea made Aislinn smile a little bit as she turned and charged in, ready to give her all in order to defeat the Darkside that was in front of her.

After that spectacle before him, Kel was left in a sitting down right where he'd intended to fight off the last invisible. The singing had stopped shortly afterwards so it really must've been over. You'd think he'd gotten used to the oddities that occurred when it came to fighting a mass amount of heartless, but somehow they always found a way to surprise him. Then again, this was probably something that he should make a note of. Nineteen heartless did stopped fighting in response to the music and something like that was good to know for any future encounters. Unfortunately Kel wasn't the most musically incline person and he couldn't sing himself thus any chances of him taking advantages of this were slim to none. Perhaps Aislinn would better benefit from this. She was the one who was singing earlier and apparently she'd performed the hula in the world she'd gone too. It would be something to consider if something like that ever happened again. After all if what Kel had just witness was a one time thing, then all this theorizing that Kel was doing would be pointless as there would be no way to use it in practice. Surprising no other heartless had headed over in Kel's direction. He did figure at least some amount of them would have made their way over towards him, but guess that wasn't the case. It was no skin off his nose either way and wouldn't really impede on anything. With all this over Kel got up from his seated positioned and took a couple of steps towards where he'd left Luna. He'd taken a couple of steps in her direction when a large shadow suddenly loomed over head. It wasn't another invisible that had decided to attack him while his guard was down or a darkside. A Darkside seemed like it would be much more noticeable given its complete size. A large group of shadows, twenty six to be exact, had jumped out from outta nowhere and landed right on Kel.

In a matter of moments the wielder was buried underneath the swarming mass of darkness. There numerous claws clawing at him all while Kel struggled to get out from underneath them. His efforts warranted him to get his arm free, but from the position in which he currently was in it would be impossible to use his keyblade to free himself. Both his magic and aura wouldn't help him either. In the middle of all of his struggles, Kel's hand had managed to grab hold of a stray heartless near him. From there the darkness started to flow from that one heartless and into Kel. This action had set off a chain reaction and the darkness from each heartless that was around him started to swirl around him. The more darkness that spiraled around him left the heartless in a brief husk state before dissipating. Resulting in the various heartless joining the swirling mass of darkness that had taken the place of the heartless that were on top of him. Kel on the other hand had no idea what was going on. All of the weight from the twenty six heartless that had gotten the jump on him had vanished shortly after he'd grabbed hold of something. Now, while able to stand, he was surrounded by darkness. Darkness that seemed to cling to his body, forming a whole new set of armor around his new attire. The darkness had also done well in healing any injuries that he'd sustained when all of those shadows were attacking him all at once. When all this was finished, the darkness dispersed and Kel was left standing there clad in dark armor. Still in disbelief, Kel mere stood there looking over the armor that had formed over him.

Talking about going home to Aux made Aislinn reflect on her family that she left behind, the conversation that she had with them when she had left, her nephew, no older than 5 swearing to help look after and protect his new born baby sister. She could hear him now crying to her as she went to visit her family one more time before stepping out to what she thought was going to be a war on the heartless that would lead her to seek additional help, and while in the end it accomplished that, it was not at all how Aislinn imagined that it would go. She thought when the threat was secure she would find a way off her world by some method of travel, a keyblade glider perhaps, though she still hadn't perfected the art of summoning one. She would go to other worlds and find keyblade masters and at least ask for advice on how she should deal with the situation back in her own home world. She wasn't going to drag anyone into it that didn't want to be involved but she had to at least try. Instead however she was pulled into the darkness, lost, then found by mere children that held the same weapon she did. She helped them through their situation and they helped her gain entry into the Mark of Mastery, where she learned a great deal of what she needed to know to protect her town, and more than that made new friends along the way. That being said she still could hear vividly the conversation when she left.

"Auntie please don't go. I don't want you to go." A young child cried as he grabbed onto the legs of a tall dark haired woman, who soon knelt down to his level.

"I have to go sweetie. Be a good boy and help dad take care of mom and your sister. Can you do that? Can you be my brave soldier?" The woman asked as she kissed the boy's head. When he nodded, she stood up to face a blonde woman with short stylish hair.

"Aislinn, you don't have to do this, the kids will miss you too." The blonde woman said to her sister looking upset herself, but trying to hide it for the children.

"Yes I do. What do you think I have been training for? Besides look at the state of our world. If I don't do something. If I don't find a way to stop this, everything will be lost. I have to protect you and your family." Aislinn to them looking down at the baby girl in the woman's arms.

"Let someone else do it. There are plenty of strong men in this town maybe one of the-"

"Sarah no. I was blessed with the power to put an end to this, now let me, please. Think of the future of your daughter."

    "But what about your future?"

What about her future indeed. The conversation had gone on, Aislinn claimed her future was in the future of Sarah and her family, but that was no future for her. In reality that was just a future set for her sister. When their home was safe, when the kids were grown up and didn't need their Aunt looking over their shoulders all the time, then what? Aislinn had never put much thought into her own future, never let herself get all that involved with relationships, never cared. Now here she was telling these kids they could do whatever they wanted with their futures, meanwhile it was something that Aislinn couldn't live out herself. Even as the battle raged on around her and she moved forward to ensure she still had a future, she couldn't help but wonder what that future would look like.

Luna no longer felt the Invisble's hold on her. In the next moment, she felt her feet touch the ground. She looked over to see Kel had rescued her. "Thanks. That's another one I owe you for." Luna got back up onto her feet. She felt a healing light over her head. She turned around to see Hikaru heal her after he little incident. "Thank you! Much appreciated!" She looked over to see both of them spring back into the action. She looked over the battlefield and was still a little speechless over the remaining amount of heartless that still lingered. "Still so many....I won't give up...Not now..." Before she could move back into battle, yet another healing light loomed over her. She looked over to see Ananta smile at her as she healed her. She angled her head in confusion. No smile was given back to Ananta. Luna turned back to the ongoing battle.

She ran ahead and raised her keyblade. She lowered it down to her feet and casted a small Blizzaga spell to create makeshift ice skates. Luna immediately swung her keyblade upwards using the same Blizzaga spell to create a path toward a group of enemies. She jumped onto the ice and skated down the path toward the enemies. Keyblade in hand, Luna reached the center of a group of four darkballs. She began spinning in one spot with her keyblade out pointing at the enemy. The darkballs had started charging at her. Her keyblade sliced through each darkball as she spun. She had stopped spinning and placed a hand on her chest. "The fight is far from over....." Her eye caught another group of heartless, this time being shadows.

She slammed her keyblade into the ground causing more ice to appear in front of her. Luna continued forward, gliding across the ice. The shadows began to slip as the ice appeared under their feet. Luna began spinning once again, cutting through the heartless with her blade. One by one, they all fell as if they were dominos. She had stopped and continued forward, slicing through more shadows that had crosses her path. Luna reached the end of the ice and looked back and nodded her head. "Alright. Where to next?" Luna looked around and walked off the ice, melting the skates beneath her feet. She ran back into battle, cautiously being aware of her current surroundings. She ran back over to Kel as he had donned new armor. "What in the world???" Luna had been speechless. She went silent for a few more moments before speaking. "What is this? Kel how are you even doing this????" Luna was astonished over the sight that was before her. No other words came to her mind. What could she even say in this situation?

Part of Aislinn wondered if her sisters husband was living up to protecting Sarah and the children. She knew that he would, but it was a threat that she gave him. She didn't know if at the time he was threatened by her at all. She knew that he would protect his family with his life, she did not have to worry about that, but she still meant what she said. If Aislinn was to return home and anything had happened to her sister, or her nephew, or her new born niece and Ryan was still left standing, then he would be dead, there was nothing that was going to stop that rage. Sarah was all she had left and unless she saw that he fought tooth and nail for her, then it wouldn't be good enough, a good father, a good husband or man would die before he let his family die and that was what Aislinn was fully expecting of him, anything less and he never deserved her blessing to marry Sarah in the first place. While it seemed that he was accepting her threat well enough at the time, there was always worry, worry for her family. Aislinn knew how they could be there one moment and not the next, and with the threat of heartless in her home world as it was... damn it she should have been finding a new world for them to live, not defending the one they had. Aislinn knew that alone it would be a fruitless battle, but she still fought it and she feared that it would be Sarah and her family that paid for her mistake. If it was possible she would go running back to her family and make things right, but with the heartless raging around her, it would be a bigger mistake to try and leave now, not when this many enemies threatened her and her friends. By the look of the darkside she wouldn't make it far before being knocked out of the sky by one of it's attacks anyways, so why even try when she could fight it out down here and help these kids win their battle, keep them safe. Sure she worried for her families safety, but that didn't mean that these kids didn't matter either, they needed all the help that they could get and she would give it.

Given that she wanted to make this area safer and make it out of here safely, Aislinn knew that she needed to spend less time thinking and more time fighting. There were still thousands of heartless swarming and she had to do what she could to keep them at bay, starting with the big guys. They were nearly done on that side of things at least as she surged forward to take a good few strikes at the darkside that resided in front of her. Having given herself enough of a rest she began using a slashing pattern that went in a cross shaped movement as she attacked the heartless. While Aislinn knew that it would be more effective to use Zantetsuken, at the same time she didn't have the space or time for that attack, she used it when moving further distances, but when in close combat it worked better to use simple melee techniques, nothing too fancy or anything, just whatever it would take to do a decent amount of damage to the damned creature before she was forced to go back on the defense from it's attacks for a bit, taking the brunt of the damage so someone else could jump in and use that opening for their own attack.

Kaida started hitting some of those shadows with a flurry of red mage attacks. They were not as creatively flavored as they could have been because at that point she was just basic comboing. And that's really alright cause somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me, I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed. She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb in the shape of an L on her forehead. Well, the years start coming and they don't stop coming. Well the years start coming and they don't stop coming, fed to the rules and I hit the ground running. It didn't make sense not to live for fun. Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb...

So much to do, so much to see. So what's wrong with taking the back streets? You'll never know if you don't go, You'll never shine if you don't glow. Hey now, you're an all-star, get your game on, go play. Hey now, you're a rock star, get the show on, get paid. And all that glitters is gold, only shooting stars break the mold. It's a cool place and they say it gets colder. You're bundled up now, wait till you get older. But the meteor men beg to differ: judging by the hole in the satellite picture. The ice we skate is getting pretty thin, the water's getting warm so you might as well swim! My world's on fire, how about yours? That's the way I like it and I never get bored. Hey now, you're an all-star, get your game on, go play. Hey now, you're a rock star, get the show on, get paid all that glitters is gold. Only shooting stars break the mold.

Only shooting stars, somebody once asked could I spare some change for gas? I need to get myself away from this place. I said yep what a concept, I could use a little fuel myself, and we could all use a little change. Well, the years start coming and they don't stop coming, fed to the rules and I hit the ground running. Didn't make sense not to live for fun, your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb. Kaida finished off her load of heartless and wiped off a bead of sweat and wondered if she set of Symphonia or something.

Nearly there, they were nearly there. She could do it, just a little further. She couldn't sing to keep herself going anymore, so she had to find other ways to push herself forward. For now just the knowledge that she was nearly there was a comfort to her in many ways, but it didn't make the exhaust any better. At least she could use the music pounding in her blood, empowering her to push her forward. Music notes floated around her as it seemed like a music score drifted around her entire body, music was certainly her power and she was going to use it to the best of her ability to make a point. No matter what that mad man in the Uniform threw at them, they could overcome it. It didn't matter how tired or hurt she was, there was always going to be something that would carry them through it, for her that was music. She used music to push her forward and she wasn't going to stop even if it annoyed Aux a little bit.

The last leg of this battle was going to be long and hard but Aislinn was sure that she could do it. All she needed to do was put a little more effort into her attacks. If she could attack harder and faster they could get through this. With the music in her veins she just had to give herself over to the tune as she let the music fill her mind. Light on her feet she started the first steps towards the Darkside more like a dance than anything else. Her feet was light on the ground as she moved on the tips of her toes, spinning once... twice... and then there was an attack and Aislinn was up in the air, twisting around the hand landing on the other side. A small smile reached her face once more as she twisted and slashed out at the arm in two fluid motions. She didn't waste time skipping backwards after that, doing a back hand spring to get out of the way of a small shadow that had tried to come after her. She didn't have time to worry about the little guys just yet though as there was more pressing matters at hand with the giant heartless that seemed to nearly be on deaths door.

The next set of attacks were a barrage of the dark energy orbs that came flying at her. Aislinn expertly maneuvered through and around them on light feet, dancing with an invisible partner every step of the was, like she was not a warrior but more of a dancer. The deception was a good one up until she got close, then they learned that her pirouettes were actually just a thin veil that hid the deadly blade that was coming around for a strike, upon contact she would switch directions spinning out of the way of a counter attack before bowing to her partner, the blade extending from her hand piercing her partner across from her. When her teacher had first told her how fighting and dance were one and the same, Aislinn had really wondered what she had gotten herself into with the training that she was ready to subject herself to. Now that she was here in this moment, putting all those techniques into use, she could really see how that was true, especially when it came to a woman fighting. At first that might have seemed sexist, but over time it became clear it was just how the woman's body was able to move and adapt, it was better than a males body for that, though males tended to be stronger. He was simply playing to her strengths and it was working.

At the time Kel had been more focused on what had happened to him to really take in anything on his surroundings, so to hear Luna's voice reminded him that he wasn't the only one here. In fact odd were that Luna witnessed the whole spectacle regarding him and the shadows. Her confusion was understandable, he had no idea how much of what he apparently did she saw, but the end results were still the same as his. Despite all this being made out of darkness, there was no form of pain. In fact it was quite the opposite. The darkness had completely healed and injuries sustained as well as was empowering him. To feel all this was certainly new to say the least. "I don't know and again I don't know." Two separate questions were asked, but the same answer applied to both of them. The only thing that he did know was that somehow this was all connected to when he'd accidentally grabbed the heartless and started draining the darkness from it. Wait. That spell that Megumi taught us. Did I use it? Looking down to his hands, he caught a glimpse of the wisps of darkness that lingered around his palm. That explained the darkness healing him, but did nothing to explain the suit of armor he was now dressed in. That was an entirely different matter that needed to be address. Unfortunately that would have to be later for a group of Darkballs had floated their way down towards the duo. His keyblade was brandished and he ran in head to fight the heartless. The first two were taken out with ease, which allowed Kel to noticed that both during those attack he felt in strength drain from him and the the moment those heartless were beaten had helped him regain some of that lost strength. It was a complete trade off, but a noticeable one at that.

The trend continued as Kel continued to hack and slash his way through the heartless around him, only stopping when it got to the point in which he felt more exhausted than usual. The heartless around him were nearly defeated and this was a task that shouldn't have taken nearly as much effort to leave him feeling like this. Kel noticed while he was catching his breath that there were more wisps of darkness flowing off of his armor. Another Darkball flew and him and was swiftly defeated resulting in the wisp around him briefly turn into flowing darkness before losing some of its intensity. He would've thought nothing of it, but the flowing of darkness happened to coincide with another moment of strength loss. It another mystery about whatever the heck this suit of armor was. He would've said that he'd gotten used to it but that was only brief moment before he felt his strength being sucked away. Before that the next gripe that formed was the helmet. The helmet itself was fine, but he wasn't fond of the idea of wearing one. Maybe that was why back home he had more of an admiration for the knights who wore armor without their helmets. Of course those were for the higher ranked knights who had earned the right to not wear their helmets and well as maintained the skills to back it up. Come to think of it he'd never really seen his father wear armor before. Not even when they had their sparring matches, he always went in there without any form of protection. He had to have had a a lot of confidence in himself to actually do that.

Finally the feeling of victory washed over her as the Darkside that she and Aux had worked so hard to defeat had finally fallen to one knee. After one last Zantetsuken to the face, the Darkside completely collapsed to the ground, this one dissipating a lot slower than the Neoshadows that she had been fighting before. From this one small amounts of darkness drifted from it's body as it slowly dissolved into the stormy sky ahead. Without thinking of it Aislinn found herself just watching the small particles raise to the sky, it was almost beautiful to watch in a weird way. She didn't know quite how to explain it but it was relaxing to take that moment to breath and just look at the progress that she made in that time of battle. While everyone else was bringing down the numbers substantially, it hadn't felt like she had done much, that was until the Darkside fell. This was not done however, seeing that there was another one engaged in battle.

Unfortunately she was not able to use Zantetsuken again to make her way over to the other Darkside, but she could at least use barrier surge to get closer while avoiding as much damage as possible until she reached the other creature. For a moment Aislinn looked back to see if Aux was going to follow her. If he chose not to, Aislinn didn't blame him, she caught on to the fact that she accidentally weirded him out a bit during that last battle with the darkside that just fell before them. Either way she now had some other help for this one, and while it would be much easier of Aux helped she would focus her attention on the one in front of her first, and not worry about what everyone else was doing. Everyone here was perfectly capable of deciding what was best for them to do during the battle. They didn't need help deciding what to do, they could do that on their own, just like she could act for herself, and in this case she decided it was best to finish taking out the big guys first and she would do it with or without additional help.

Coming up next to the boy, Aislinn gave him a bit of a wave after recovering from her little crash in with the Darkside he was fighting. "Hey. I thought you needed some help, these things are tough. So what do you say, shall we go another round partner and try to work together a little better than we did in the first round of our exam?" It wasn't that they didn't work well together, but as she had thought before she didn't have the proper time to work with him properly. They were partners but she spent more time working with Ananta and Luna. She hoped that both those girls were doing well as well. Perhaps she would have to check on them later.

Now standing side by side with Stratos, Aislinn turned to the heartless. "So what do you say we make this quick?" She asked before rushing into the battle, taking advantaged of a pattern of attack she had seen it use before as it slammed it's fist in the ground. Jumping on the heartless's arm, she once again ran up the arm until she got close enough to the face to jump. When she was she jumped, smacking the heartless in the face before using the momentum to back flip as she started on her way down, making sure to make it a little extra showy just for the fun of it.

As he once again shoved the paladin Neoshadow away from him, Steel felt immensely grateful that he had already dealt with the white mage. The paladin had some healing magic of its own, but it was nowhere near as powerful. As he dodged out of the way of the dragoon's spear he decided that he was also extremely happy to not have the ninja to deal with. It had gone down surprisingly easy, but he wasn't going to be one to look a gift horse, or rather a complete and total failure at coordination, in the mouth. As he dodged a fireball from the one in green his thoughts took more of an analytical turn. By its behavior so far, he might assume it was a black mage. However, the ornamentation and color of the robes suggested something... different. In Steel's honest opinion, the less unforeseen surprises he had to deal with the better. This thought prompted him to launch himself forwards to where the unknown mage had been blasting out spells. Unfortunately, no sooner had he gone in for a strike when he was blocked by the sudden appearance of the paladin. Both Steel and his blade bounced backward at the abrupt halt, he only barely recovered in time to block the opponents' next blow, which sent him flying.

Recovering in mid-air, Steel used his momentum to fling himself around an incoming tree and shoot himself back in his opponents' direction. His blade struck the spear of the dragoon in midflight, and the two began a brief attempt at a duel, with Steel doing reversals away from the dragoons' kicks and thrusts. His own stab was parried and knocked away, and he found his Keyblade sliding off of the weapons of both his opponents as he met to counter them both left and right. The two eventually coordinated their attacks to both come for him at once, and he found himself in a three-way blade lock. As he pushed them both away and ducked under their attempts at counters, Steel twirled around in a spin slash to sweep them both off their feet. Directly afterward he cast a seeker mine spell, knocking them both further into the air. Of course, the shadows were not very fond of how their larger brethren were being treated and were beginning to pour in from all around him. As the two Neoshadows were falling began to reach the ground, he charged two Thundaga spells in his hands before blasting them out to his sides. This took out many of the smaller heartless before they even remotely began to form a relevant problem and significantly damaged the Neoshadows to boot. The paladin, all but defeated on the ground, found itself impaled on the end of the Artisan Shard, as well as frozen in a block of ice. The dragoon, recovering more quickly, attempted to surprise him with a spear from behind while his back was turned. It did not foresee the Keyblade Master suddenly shoving it's frozen comrade into the path of its weapon. With the paladin down and vanishing from his Keyblade, Steel dispatched the dragoon with a flick of his wrist.

Turning his attention back to the Neoshadow in green, Steel saw that it was now accompanied by an invisible... covered in grotesque earth-like tendrils. It had a strange, skull-like face that was rather unpleasant to look upon, and it seemed that it was being... controlled by the Neoshadow!? It suddenly struck him with absolute horror:

    A Summoner.

It began gathering even more Invisibles around it, infusing them with unique attributes. One with a turtle-like shell, another with... a blonde wig? The fourth and final one came began forming a menacing red cloak with several blue spots, sitting high above the other three.

Well, this would certainly be something, wouldn't it?

As the new thundagolem and the dark side heartless were doing battle with each other, Stratos knew that he had to go and deal with some of the other heartless and provide some cover for the creature. He wasn't quite sure what this thundagolem was entirely capable of, nor did he know how long it would last, but he knew it had a far better chance at dealing with the dark side then he did. And since it was constantly letting out volts of lightning around it, he had an inkling that standing near the creature would probably not be very beneficial to the boy's health. As the creature continued to emit light from the lightning arcing every which way, the heartless around the area were more attracted to it, and as it was fighting against the dark side by itself, that too signaled for them to join in on the attack. So, seeing that there were a collection of heartless that were beginning to form around the thundagolem, Stratos spun his keyblade and got himself ready to protect the giant while it went into battle against the dark side. Looking around, he saw the claws of the neoshadow burst out of the ground as they made their way towards the golem.

Dashing towards the creature, Stratos tossed his keyblade at one of them, cleaving its claw off before it managed to fully pull itself out of the ground. The creature looked to its hand, seeing it was just a stub, only for Stratos to then slide in at quick speeds and cleave through the heartless in one strike. The slash had formed across the creature's head, wisps of darkness coming out of the creatures' wound before it finally exploded and returned back to the dark. As the next creatures had appeared, they were fully formed and ready to spring out towards Stratos. Holding his keyblade up, he guarded against the attack, parrying the claw away, though feeling some of the shock run through him. Looking over, he then saw yet another of the neoshadows spin towards him, striking him in the back. Letting out a grunt of pain, being forced forward a bit, the boy looked towards the creature and ignited his keyblade. Bringing the slash towards the creature's claw, he managed to collide blade and claw against each other winning out in the battle and destroying the heartless's claw. Following up with a few consecutive normal slashes, Stratos had managed to finish off the one neoshadow before turning his attention to the third one. As it jumped at him, the boy merely extended out his hand and said, "graviga," causing the heartless to immediately be forced to the ground. The creature was unable to get up, and with a bit more force applied to the neoshadow the creature merely erupted into darkness, being destroyed by the rush of gravity.

Meanwhile, the dark side had swung its fist forward towards the thundagolem. The golem brought its arms up in a guard, blocking against the punch. It grunted, the force being clear behind the dark side's attack and the being was forced back a bit, yet it still stood its ground. The dark side, however, was not without injury itself. The golem was still half made of pure magical lightning, and as such the volts across its body also arced onto the fist as it struck it. Clenching its own fists, the golem brought the guard down, and with a single swing aimed for the dark side's head. While the golem was fast, the dark side moved with far more speed then it had normally, bringing up its hand to guard against the attack. While it managed to catch the lightning fist, it still received a shock through the contact.

He was still fighting behind the countless hoard of heartless. He was taking as many out as he could. The hoard of heartless seemed to open up for a moment and we was able to see out. He could see someone running around and being crazy. This person was probably more or less stupid. The person first stopped and stood atop a tree. This person then made there way over to another person. At first he did not know who this person was then he spotted the crown on there head, Luna he thought. Then there was still the thought of who this mad person was running around. Shortly after he spotted a green light and thought curing people. The person Then ran off and green light followed soon after. Who ever this person was they were not that smart. They kept running around healing people. After some time he knew who is was. There was only one person that could be that stupid and that was Ananta. Soon he spotted her Skipping over to him, she then pointed her keyblade at him before she fell to her knees. She was healing him but there was the fact that he did not need it. So far he had taken little damage so he thought that it was unnessacry. He watched as Ananta stood back up and run off again. How she got to him was beyond him seeing that he was completely surrounded by heartless. It was a wonder how Ananta did not die making her way to him and away again. Well what ever the case was it did not matter. His window that he was looking out soon closed and there was no excape once again.

A large heartless then came out of nowhere and it was a big one. With his escape now gone once again he had the only option of fighting. The floating heartless was holding a sword of some sort. A large heartless loomed over him. Oh this was not good. He set his sights on the Invisible heartless that floated above the massive heartless floated above the mass horde of smaller heartless. He took a firm step forward and dashed off towards the horde, he ignored the smaller ones that made the occasional swipe at him. Only the ones that had actually gotten in his path were struck down. The invisible heartless had just been floating there watching the young keyblade wielder approach it with the usual blank expression that most heartless wore on their face. Not showing any clear signs of emotions, but there was the sense that it was looking at him. There were not any heartless of massive size that the Invisible could just wave his hand and heartless would attack him. This invisible heartless was a leader of some sort. His eyes scanned the heartless mass before him. The invisible heartless attack him with its sword. He was just able to get out of the way if he was not careful the invisible heartless would kill him faster then he could blink. The invisible heartless grabbed the sword it had and came at him once again. Slowly the invisible heartless descended down til it was practically floating a mere inches off of the ground. It seemed to want to see the look on his eyes when he went out. The invisible heartless responded by raising it's blade another attempt to strike, but this time its attack was parried into the ground, causing the blade to get stuck. The moment was seized and he went for the head of the invisable heartless. Soon it was dead.

With the the three Neoshadows out of the way, Stratos looked towards the dark side and thunder based golem that were fighting against each other. The two hadn't seemed to do much in way of fighting yet, but they had been going blow for blow thus far. Thinking it imperative to keep the pressure off the creature, Stratos continued to tighten his grip around his keyblade, on the lookout for any of the neo shadows that might have been around to attack the golem he was guarding. It didn't take long for more to appear, as the thunder elemental golem was gigantic and glowing with crackling electricity, and Stratos knew that he had to go stop them all the same. There were, once again, three neo shadows that had appeared from beneath the ground, all near where his current position was and began to run straight at them.

While the creatures had managed to pull themselves out of the ground, claws extending from it as they hoisted their dark mass out from the shadows, they did not at first take note of Stratos. Looking only to the golem, they appeared ready to attack it, claws bared and at the ready to leap and tear at the creature, Stratos went to intercept them. Spinning his keyblade around, the boy tossed it at in a strike at one of them, managing to strike one of the three that was caught flat-footed from the attack. The heartless was knocked off its feet, landing on the ground as it looked towards the boy with hatred in its eyes. Diving back into the ground, the creature ran through the shadows moving towards Stratos in an area that he wasn't able to actually attack. As the creature burst out from the shadows, the boy rolled backwards, avoiding the claws that the creature swung upwards to attack him. While its uppercut slash had missed, the creature then jerked its small foot forward, surprising the young keyblade master. Being struck in the chest by the foot, Stratos skidded backwards, partially winded from the attack, only to look back at this foe, ready to fight back against it. Pointing his keyblade at the creature, the boy had a small orb of flame appear at the tip of his keyblade, getting ready to launch it out towards the heartless. As he did, casting the firaga spell, the creature ducked, dodging under the attack before leaping forward towards the boy. Raising up his keyblade, the boy managed to deflect the claws of the heartless. With the blade in hand, the boy ignited the blade with flame, striking downward on the heartless, cleaving into its already wounded form. The flaming blade tore through the rest of the body, with the flames igniting what was left of it. With the attack finished, the neoshadow was destroyed entirely.

As the dark side had caught the physical thundagolem's fist, it curled up another one. Charging with lightning, with great speed the golem unleashed an uppercut towards the darkside, smashing its fist into its tendril mess of a head. With the fist striking, sparks of lightning arcing across all the tendrils once struck, the heartless let go of the first fist it had caught as it stumbled backward. Reeling back that original fist, the thundagolem then moved forward, and with a straight punch smashed its lightning charged fist into the chest of the heartless. The dark side planted its foot into the ground, keeping itself steady. As the thundagolem went for a third punch, the dark side reciprocated. As the two fists collided with each other, a burst of air and lightning flowed out from the point of impact, the raw force behind the two attacks being that great.

The darkside that he and Aislinn fought had fallen, watching as the dark beast fell into pieces, faded before it could even hit the ground. Aux sighed as he was glad the singing lady went elsewhere. Nice girl, but far too in her own head. He looked around the field too see what he could next in this fight. He raced off to see where he could do the most damage in the shortest amount of time. As he raced onwards, he saw a small group of neoshadows pop out of the ground like daisies in a jumping attack. The heartless had just rose from their shadow sneak form and Aux was the first one they saw to attack with. As one swung at Aux with his arm, the man grabbed it's arm and threw it over his head, as he held his keyblade with the other hand to parry the rest of the neoshadows. Rushing the blocked heartless, he performed a quick and heavy combo to eliminate them, watching as black smoke passed his face with each kill. He held his keyblade up and looked back at the neoshadow he had tossed. As it landed, it managed to crush another small shadow heartless under the impact of it's weight. Holding his keyblade aloft, Aux rushed and and held his keyblade with both hands preparing to joust the heartless. With a powerful thrust, he stabbed the heartless right in he torso and watched as it vanished in a puff of smoke before his eyes. He loooked around the battlefield before spotting Hikaru. Slashing another neoshadow quickly, he rushed over to his friend to see if he needed a hand.

Meanwhile the battle between master and student raged on.
As Shiro battled his former commanding officer, Hughes found himself to be continuously overwhelmed by Shiro's raw power. Shiro continued to hack and slash away at him, Hughes struglling to keep up with the younger man. "Age does not suit you old friend. Neither does the darkness you've let cower in your heart!" Shiro spoke. Hughes grunted as he summoned at least a dozen neoshadow heartless to attack him from the rear. Shiro turned and slashed away the Neoshadows with ease. "Cheap tricks Colonel? I accepted more honor for a man who served so many years." Shiro spoke intimately without pushing as much booming presence in his voice as he used to. He and Hughes had a shared history that he wished to rectify. " But then again, I can't say I'm surprised. I've always disapproved of your methods!"

"I got results. What do you care how I got it?"
Shiro's muscles bulged in intensity as he grew angrier. A bright silver aura emanated from him. "THEY WERE WOMEN AND CHILDREN! INNOCENTS YOU USED FOR YOUR OWN SICK PLEASURE!"
"The enemy is the enemy Fujioka. And I'm surprised you would speak so spitefully to a commanding officer." he mocked.
"That was then. This is now... AND NOW I SERVE THE WORLD ORDER!" The aura grew brighter as blades of wind began to circle his body.

SHIRO HAS ACTIVATED LEVEL 2 WIND AURA: CYCLONE.

"AND IF YOU WON'T PLAY FAIR THEN NEITHER WILL I! THIS AURA ALLOWS ME TO INCREASE THE FIGHTING POWER OF EVERYONE HERE!" As he said this, a small, silver glow began to emanate from the keyblades of every fighter on the battlefield.
Hughes scoffed. "Who do you think even taught you auras in the first place?" The same silver aura began emanating around Hughes.

HUGHES HAS ACTIVATED LEVEL 1 WIND AURA: TWISTER.

"You keep surprising me time and time again. But you think you can beat me? I made you what you are, boy. I trained you. Disciplined you. Broke you down and rebuilt you as the man you are today."
Shiro clenched his fists. "I have nothing left to learn from you." He held his keyblade proudly.

After having felled the first of the neo shadows, there were still two more that had shown their face. Stratos got ready to fight against the heartless once more, readying his keyblade and getting into a defensive posture as he studied the two heartless. The two of them looked towards the boy, heads bobbing and moving around, seemingly trying to find a break in Stratos's guard. The two neo shadows began to walk towards him, then split off walking in two different directions, circling the boy. He looked towards the two heartless, wondering what they were about to do as their twitching heads continued to move all around and look towards the boy. With claws at the ready, the two began to rush forward towards the boy. The both of them leaped at him at the same time, one high and one low trying to stop him from escaping in either direction and guarding against both attacks. However, that would only apply if Stratos were still as weak as he used to be. With the power of his aura and his skills in the keyblade, the boy knew he was able to stop what was coming at him. Stepping back, letting loose the magic through his foot, he targeted the one charging low with a pulse of gravity magic. The other, he went to guard with his keyblade. The first of them merely stopped in its tracks, floating away as its body was now afflicted by a different force of gravity. The second, he merely parried away with his weapon.

As the two heartless got back up, Stratos looked ready to combat them, only for two more neoshadows to pop out of the ground next to them. With claws at the ready, the four were now primed to go and attack him once more, and the boy was not sure if he was going to be able to keep up with fighting them and keeping the golem safe. Especially as he wasn't sure that he would be able to deal with all of the heartless at this point by himself either. It was then, though, that a silver light glowing across his keyblade caught his attention. He wasn't sure what it was, but he felt a surge of strength run through himself. Before, at the start of this fight he had felt as though now that he were a master he could deal with twice as many heartless at once. Yet now, this power surging through him blew that increase in strength fa out of the water. He felt like he had the strength of four of his running through his body, maybe more, and he was not about to let four simple neoshadows stop him here. As the glow subsided, the power fully inside the boy now, he merely looked at the four heartless and took a calm breath. As time came to its usual standstill, cherry blossoms fluttered through the air and the boy found just where to slash against the neoshadows. In an instant, he appeared behind them, slashing through all four of them and destroying them in a single stroke of his blade.

Meanwhile, the Thundagolem's fist had been forced away by the might of the dark sides. Though it was strong, the dark side was far stronger in terms of physical power and thus it could not win in the power struggle. After winning the first clash, the dark side reeled back its fist and went for a second one. Bringing up its guard again, the thundagolem was forced back as it took yet another blow, starting to feel its form be broken apart by the attack. However, soon, it felt a surge of force run through it, as if the person who commanded it was suddenly able to provide far more power for it. Its form coming back to whole, the golem flexed its rippling lightning biceps a few times before going for another punch against the darkside. One after the other, with three heavy punches it forced the dark side back.
