After Bambi pranced away happily, Hikaru was newly rejuvinated by the MP bubble orbs that the deer had left behind. He felt his mystical energy replenish as he was no ready to have some mre fun with his high damaging spell casting. Hikaru looked into the sky as roughly half a dozen darkballs were floating overhead. Hoping to get some good distance, Hikaru began to pace himself around the giant darkballs in order to get a good idea of just how much range he had before casting his spells. With the aerora spell still in effect, his wind barrier was still able to parry and deter most of the darkballs' charging attacks. Stopping and finding his footing, Hikaru looked up at the demonic darkballs, as their chains dangled heavily at their sides. Two of them took the leading charge as they made a mad dash for Hikaru. While he would normally be on his guard, Hikaru didn't have to worry about it too much this time around. His wind spell was still active and caused the darkballs to bounce right off him as if they were dodgeballs hitting a wall. The darkballs were bounced off and both heads were floundering about in a daze, allowing Hikaru his opportunity to do damage. Taking his keyblade, he pointed it directly in front of him and aimed specifically for the dazed darkball on the right. He let loose a powerful blizzard spell, causing the Darkball to immediately freeze on impact and the darkballs nearby to receive a fair bit of damage. He watched as the frozen one began it's decent onto the ground, while the other darkballs were still shaking off the edges of their frozen antennae in an attempt to get rid of the excess ice dangling from the sides of their bodies. Their chains were now cold as ice, now having turned a light blue cyan colour. Dashing towards the falling darkside, Hikaru held his keyblade with both hands, preparing to do a massive strike against it. This hit had to be just strong enough to launch it, but not strong enough to destroy it. Hikaru wanted to try his hand at a geometric tactics. He lossened his grip lightly as he took his swing at the frozen darkball. He did not smack his keyblade forcefully against it, but managed to just cradle it enough with his keyblade, before firing it like a hockey puck at the other darkballs. The darkball managed to hit 3 others before falling apart in a cascade of ice and darkness. "Woo! Three pointer!" he cheered, charging ahead to finish the other darkballs. He raced to the remaining darkballs and jumped into the air to perform a fury of slashes to help finish off the darkballs that weren't damaged or destroyed by his little geometric ice tactc. In all honesty, there wasn't much math involved as just pure luck.

Watching behind him, he spotted two smaller shadows sneaking towards Kel. Insignificant as they appeared to be, he want to make sure his friends were covered from all angles. HE charged ahead and lunged forward with his keyblade, causing one of them to be eliminated on impact. The other one snuck down into his shadow sneak mode, causing Hikaru to pause and wait. It honestly felt like he was just waiting for a fish to jump out of a river. When it did, Hikaru jumped at the chance and immediately slammed his keyblade down to the ground. The impact caused the shadow heartless to be eliminated, as Hikaru returned to his defensive stance. Reseting after each encounter was slowly becoming second nature to him.

Kaida began a strategy where she ran along the edge of the horde and did her best to knock back the shadows so they were not able to break through and swarm the rest of the party. It was definitely not a perfect strategy since the horde could have easily overwhelmed her at any point if they tried, but so far they seemed to jump move mindlessly to random spots and not together in a hive mind of anything of the sort. Kaida kept slicing and dicing at the shadows and as some attempted to jump at her from behind, her shadow companion knocked them back into the pile.

As the heartless that he was fighting were destroyed, dissipating into the air as wisps of dark smoke, the boy landed back on his feet, touching down on the ground below. Before he could even formulate a next plan of attack, or designate a new target for him to try and attack however, he was immediately cut off by another heartless that came to attack him. Only being barely able to react, the boy tried to dodge out of the way as a sword from seemingly nowhere was flung at him. His reaction was good, but not impecable, as the blade had still managed to nick his cheek, the blade planting itself into the ground. While it had come from an angle, the boy looked over to where it came from and saw nothing that would have delivered it. Looking back at the blade, he saw a ring of black and purple flames start to form around the hilt, before coalescing together into one ball of fire. From that fire, a heartless came out from it, the humanoid form with the pointed tail and faux angelic wings. Stratos recognized it as the invisible type heartless he had been dealing with thus far, and merely said, "well that's new." The heartless reached down, its hand closing around the hilt as it yanked the blade out from the earth it was stuck in. Twirling it, the invisible pointed its serrated blade towards the boy, clearly meaning to challenge him.

The boy held up his blade, ready to take on the invisible as it dove at him with its own blade at the ready. Diving forth, Stratos held up his keyblade to guard against the sword, the two blades colliding against each other. As the came to a power struggle of sorts, Stratos pumped his gravity aura into the opponent's weapon, causing it to steadily become heavier and heavier. However, the invisible was not deterred by this, instead gripping onto the blade with both of its hand and using the new weight to force its way through Stratos's guard. The boy was blown by the attack, as the sword of the heartless struck the ground with a large thud. It seemed to be struggling to pick it up, yet it still managed to hold onto the super heavy sword. Imbuing it with a dark flame, the heartless swung his blade at the boy, sending the wave of purple and black flame at him. Spinning his keyblade, Stratos tossed it in a strike raid, the two being intercepted by the other and canceling each other out. Summoning his keyblade back, the began to run towards the heartless. Sliding dash forwards towards him, the boy struck his keyblade against the invisible's sword, the latter using it to guard against the attack.

However, as he did, he switched the gravity effect on the weapon. Suddenly becoming far lighter, the weapon was blown out of the invisible's hands, as it was not expecting such an abrupt change. His blade erupting in flames of its own, Stratos brought down a fire strike through the heartless's torso, cleaving it in twain. As he did, he followed up with his blade with ice, letting loose a vorpal blitz against the creature, striking it twice before bringing down a final hard strike, felling the heartless. After he did that, he looked up to see a few more heartless approaching him. With a calm breath, the boy looked at the 3 heartless and said, "graviga!" Creating a super heavy field of gravity, the heartless were crushed under the force of the magic, being destroyed and returned to darkness.

He still felt no different in being a keyblade master. Strike after strike that the darkballs did he dodged the darkballs as the came close. He was not sure how much damage they could do to him but he was not about to find out by getting hit. The largest drakball looked ready to try and kill him. Through all this he managed to close the distance between himself and the large darkball. He did not worry too much about the Iarge darkball as soon he was sure it would be gone. He knew that the moment that he stopped moving left to right and back agin there would be an attack again. He did not want the battle to come to him as it was easier for him to take out things slowly to the side. So he just made sure that he keept on was still hopping around so that if they did attack he would be ready. He was sure the heartless would miss if they attacked. These heartless seemed to be not only intelligent in the way the approached combat, but it also looked like they were pack hunters. He was glad they were only in the realm of darkness for a short amount of time, and during that time they were mostly participating in the reaper's game. If they would have been there for very long before dreamer had collected them all and taken them through the castle of illusions, the heartless almost certainly would have picked them off one by one. For now he had to face this horde alone.

That was when the darkball hearrtless attacked again. Having avoided the attack by backing up to the palm tree and moving to the side. He looked back and it was time to go on the offensive. It was only for a moment, but the darkball heartless were all clustered up. Without wasting a moment, he seemed to be able to take out a few darkball heartless. A momentary pause and an unnatural stillness from those darkball heartless followed. He moved forward slightly and unleashed a flurry of blows before the one of the darkballs heartless could escape. His combo hitting was successful as the one of the darkball heartless faded into darkness. From the corner of his eye, he could see many of the smaller shadow heartless sinking into the ground and heading right for him. He moved back and began to stand far from the heartless as he could. He whacked his way through the wave as they mad there way towards him. The heartless were trying to reach him still desite his fighting style. He noticed that fighting the once adament heartless seemed relatively easy to him now. He kept moving until the large darkball blocked his path. He froze in place, backing up a bit at the size of the above average darkball heartless. He backed up and use his back ended up next to the same palm tree. While he was not the fastest, he thought that he could manage to race around behind the heartless before hitting the heartless with his knife. The power of the knife did a number on the darkball heartless, doing massive damage and causing the heartless to decrease in speed. Seizing his opportunity, he unleashed a quick torrent of slashes before the darkball heartless finally dispersed. He continued to look around for any of the massive darkball heartless, he had never seen before before backing up slowly. His back eventually hit something, as he was stunned before turning around. and saw that it was still the palm tree.

Though he had felt like he was putting up a good fight so far, it was clearly noticeable just how little they had actually done so far. Though Stratos had slain a dozen neo shadows himself and few of the invisibles, it seemed that there was still a sizable amount of them left. Well, he couldn't exactly count the invisible, as they were lost in the sea of darkness that was the heartless, yet he could see the collection of neoshadows that were still around, and they were far more numerous than he was expecting. Add onto that, while Kaida and Hikaru seemed to be dealing with the super horde of shadows, despite all their efforts that too didn't seem to be ending anytime soon. Add on to that, there was still the two giant humaonid heartless, that were still walking around and likely causing the others to be inspired, if heartless could feel that, and were unrestricted in what they were doing. While Aislinn and Aux seemed to have one under control, the other merely moved around uninjured and undaunted. Stratos had resolved to go deal with that one, as well, though, there was still quite a large number of heartless between him and it.

The solution was simple. He merely had to cut a path between him and the heartless, and once he did that, he'd have a clear shot at fighting it. He resolved to do this, knowing that the longer it was around the harder things in the long run for them would be, and so with keyblade in hand he began to rush towards the heartless. Unsurprisingly, there was collection of neo shadows in his way that had designed to stop him. One popped out of the ground, swinging its claw in an uppercut fashion, trying to slash at him. The boy managed to stop himself in time, merely dodge rolling backward to avoid the attack. As he got back up onto his feet, the creature was now floating in the air, descending as gravity took hold of it. Imbuing his keyblade with ice, the boy jumped up, slashing twice in an X formation, with a third heavier slash being brought down. As the vorpal blitz cleaved through the heartless, instantly slaying it. As he landed back on the ground, a second neo shadow, spinning parallel with the ground moved its way towards him. Pointing his keyblade at it, Stratos merely casted yet another Graviga on it, forcing the creature's spin to come to a halt as it was pressed against the ground. Sliding dash through the heartless, and cleaving it instantly.

With those two being dealt with, a shadow and three more neo shadows emerged from the ground, trying to impede the boy's progress as well. The three Neo shadows, traveling in a straight line, all barreled their way towards the boy. Taking a deep breath, wanting to get through them as fast as possible, the boy charged himself with a yellow lightning. Kicking off the ground at high speeds, the boy unleashed his Hunter's rush limit towards the Neoshadow's, instantly slashing through one and the shadow that was close behind it. The other two neo shadows were surprised by this attack, as the boy moved right past them. While his back was to them, Stratos merely twirled his keyblade and pointed it to the ground saying, "seeker mine." With that, small discs of magic formed on the ground, seeking towards the Neo Shadows, exploding at they came within range. The mines managed to destroy the heartless instantly, and without even looking back, the boy kept running towards the second darkside.

There was a point where Kaida knew she had messed up. And it came at an instant when she thought everything was under control. The blonde reached a piece of drift wood and footed herself on it go get a little bit of elevation when a neoshadow ran by and got in a good swipe on her leg. The blonde winced and fell over and the next thing she knew all she could see was black. Not because she was unconscious, but because she most definitely being trampled by several of these heartless. She quickly tried to bring up her arm to swipe the creatures off of her, but while she managed to knock off one of them, a bunch of them went to attack her at once.

Kaida felt all of her energy was gone and was certain she was about to fall unconscious, but with an incredible stroke of luck, second chance kicked in and she let out a huge sigh of relief before she realized she still needed to get out of there. The girl reached up her keyblade and used stopga once more. While the time was stopped, the blonde used splattercombo and quickly got herself out of there while also knocking out a few more shadows along the way. Stopga's effects began to fade and she made her way as fast as she could to a high ground. This is when she decided to climb up a palm tree.

Although weak, she successfully made it up to the top and started panting heavily as she looked down at the creatures. She hoped they could not sense how fearful she was, because that last swarming took away more health than she would have liked. She raised up her keyblade to cure herself, and then looked down at the shadows wondering her next approach.

After bringing his blade up into a guard, he then blocked the next attack as another of the darkball heartless came his way. The large darkball in the distance had appeared to be amused by His attemets of attacking. He made a gesture and fortunately for the keyblade wielder, there weren't any other darkball heartless of that massive of a size. He did not want to deal with another expolding darkball heartless but it looked like that was not a potion. Instead this time he choose to play the numbers game and had the smaller darkball heartless come towords him. Eight darkball heartless were sent his way, all grouped up to make it so that he would not be able to take them down in one strike. He knew that he was runing low on energy he felt tired. He would have to rely on his own skills to deal with this threat, which was not too much of an issue as he had done this song and dance before. Not to mention he had a few more tricks up his sleeves. While he thought on this, the darkballs and shadows seemed to merge into the one being. This was not the case but they were so close together at this point they looked like one thing. The darkballs fortunately did not seem all that smart or maybe they were and this was all so he would lower his gard. The darkball heartless was not all that intimidating of a sight by, more strange. No matter the thoughts were pushed away and he went on the offensive and deal blow. It was successful in striking down some of the darkball. His original plan was to strike away at the darkball heartless untill it was gone. He had to deal with as mamny of the darkballs heartless as he could. As they floated his way they had fallen flat on the ground. Now he needed to think of something else while dodging the heartless's repetitive attacks on him. It may have been the same size as him, but its mass made its attacks slow and easy to dodge.

Everything around him seemed to be keeping up nearly as well as he was. He was fighting hard he could tell. There still there was hardly an end in sight. They would need to put a lot of work in in order to get any further with this fight. That being said the big threat still loomed over him in the form of the darkball heatless that was clumbted together. He would need to deal with this before he was allowed time to relax a bit. Then he might be able to deal with the small enemies. As much as hhe would like to join the fight reducing down the numbers, left unchecked this could be a problem. As long as he could not get those countless heartless under control he should not rest. be too much of a problem. Though having their numbers cut down by some now seemed to have made it somewhat easier. He could see them start to dart around him trying everything they could do to get to him. Jumping back a little to the palm tree. The darkball heartless did not seem to be giving him any chances. He had to get a chance to hit the darkball heartless. The next thing he knew the darkball heartless came towards him. As the mass of the group of dark heartless came at him he took a few swings clearly hurting. With a few more swings of his blade the drakball heartless was gone.

The blonde was planning for a distance round this time. Figuring she was doing a lot better in the previous wave anyway once she found a spot to stick to and keep shooting spells from. She waited a bit and scouted the area to make sure she only had to worry about shadows and neoshadows while she restored magic. She wished there was a more stable position to hang, she was not convinced the dock she was on previously would be enough to keep her elevated from the crowd so she would just need to find a larger tree. But for now, this point was fine.

Pipsqueak began throwing a few coconuts from the tree at a few of the shadows below, comical "bonk" noises could be heard as they hit the shadows. One at the bottom spun out upon being hit and laid down on the ground in defeat. Kaida giggled a bit at the sight, finding a bit of humor in it before realizing now was probably the best time to get these attacks started. The blonde began by beginning April showers, then crossing her blades together a bit in order to point them down and yell, "Thundara!"

The area lit up quickly as shadows began being electrocuted by the spell, sparking a lot more as the rain in her space (which kind of looked like random clouds just floated up above her little dome of range) continued pouring down. She knew she was more equipped with fire, so it was best to keep that off until April Showers ended. As the rain continued to pour, she crossed her blades together and shot Thunderbell and Blizzara at the same time. Usually the bell made a bong noise as it hit it's target, this time it made more of a flat noise. Like the bell was already broken. But it also made a crackling noise similar to thunder. She thought that was pretty fitting, having what looked like a thunderstorm aesthetic going on.

Some of the shadows began backing out of the area to try and get away from the rain and lightning, which gave her a temporarily bubble. Which was good, because she needed to wait for thunderbell to charge again and that was her only thunder projectile in her arsenal. Kaida hopped down to the ground and on a couple of the escaping shadows made a quick use of powerline before moving back to her perch.

Stratos continued his advance towards the large, ever looming humanoid heartless in the distance. He was able to make his way through the swarm thus far, but there was still a large amount of distance to cover, and he was positive that more heartless were going to stop him. After all, ti wasn't like everyone else could keep a couple thousand other heartless occupied while he did this. So, his run was slowed, as aired on the side of caution, looking out for any heartless that might be trying to ambush him on his way towards the massive heartless. Looking around, the boy's leisurely jog was interrupted by a sudden explosion of black inky darkness, a neo shadow appearing behind him. The boy dodge rolled forward, attempting to avoid the attack, only for the claw to rake against his back. While the attack wasn't massive or anything, it was still noticeable and caused the boy to wince in pain as he finished his roll. Turning around, he looked at the opponent before him, noting it to be of a different breed of neo shadow then the common one, but still one he had dealt with previously.

The heartless was still roughly the same size, though, rather than being an inky black, it instead had red veins moving across it. Its body was still tall and gaunt, and the shadow still moved around frantically, though it seemed to constantly snap and tilt around, like it was having trouble paying attention to any one thing at a time. Despite this rather frantic, beyond feral kind of actions the beast seemed to be taking, the crimson veined neo shadow did not wait for much time to pass before it lunged at Stratos again. The speed of its lunge was not any greater, at least as he could see, then the one of the regular neo shadow. However, there seemed to be a lot less preparatory motion in its action, making the attack feel a whole lot more sudden. Stratos, caught a bit flat-footed by this sudden attack, could barely react in time to hold his guard up against the attack. The attack itself, also appeared to be far more sudden then normal, the arm of the creature going from a wind up motion to snapping forward, ready to bury itself into his chest in no time flat. The boy had managed parry the attack with his keyblade's guard, though he was still pushed back by the attack.

If he had to guess, the heartless that he was facing definitely stronger then the regular neo shadow. However, if he had to guess its actual strength, he'd say it was approximately as powerful as five neo shadows put into one. Maybe a bit more. All the same, he wasn't about to let that deter him. Looking at his super foe, the boy took a deep breath, trying to focus on his next attack. As he prepared his zantetsuken, though, the heartless gave him no time, suddenly appearing next to him, and letting out a fast snap kick, striking the boy in the gut. While winded, the heartless raised its claw into the air, about to stab through the boy. However, reaching out, he cast yet another Graviga, forcing the heartless into the air, weightless. Being in the air now, the claw of the neo shadow merely struck nothing but air. Getting his breath back, the boy looked at the creature, and shot a small lightning dart from his keyblade. As it struck the heartless, he merely said, "Fox Taser." The heartless suddenly exploded in violent lightning, being destroyed.

After the mass of the group of dark heartless came at him he took a few swings clearly hurting. With a few more swings of his blade the drakball heartless was gone. A darkball heartless leaped at him, spinning its whole body to attack him. He however back-stepped out of the way, before lunging forward and cleaving the heartless in two with his blade. Following the larger one was a plethora of regular shadows. He charged them head on and mowed them down one by one. He threw out his almost dull knife of a weapon in a straight line, decimating a row of the small heartless. Another darkball leaped at him with almost just the right timing to hit him fortunately for him he was able to move just at the right time. The blonde stood himself up next to the palm tree to keep good balance. Thinking he was doing alright for now. Though one thing he had not necessarily anticipated was another attack by darkballs heartless so soon after the last one. He pick of another piece of bark again. A new storm was out there one more powerful then the last and more heartless were coming. The storm still was in the distance. The storm swished a piece of wood past him and the he had no focus in that direction as it slammed into her face, knocking him onto the ground. He turned to focus more on the debris since the wind was more in focus on that direction, while he was not in focus, a group of darkballs suddenly went in with an attack. The blonde went flying into the large palm tree that was still behind him. The darkball hearless had jumped in frount of him or more like flowed in his way.

He was genuinely curious how he was going to manage to keep going with this at this pace. He watched the darkballs heartless fly in every direction. By this point he had to find a way to give himrself enough of a break that hhe could focus more before another big attack. The heartless He focused on were the darkball Heartless. He had been taking them out slowly, but since he decided to leave some neoshandows for some time he could spot a few in the distance.

Once more, just like before, he slowed her breath and focused her energy. His eyes glared at the cluster of heartless that were near the him. The darkball heartless. He found himself surrounded by a group of darkball heartless anlong with other hearless. Twisting around, one after another the darkball heartless were met with the end of her blade. He was not noticing how heavily his breathing was until he stopped fighting.

Yet another trial of the darkball heartless had been clear and as opposed to getting agitated that the keyblade wielder has yet to fall in combat. He knew that the heatless would not stop there attack and he would not stop fighting. The smaller swarm of heartless around him was getting closer now. He had a little break between the fighting but man this was going to be one long fight probably one of the longest ones yet. Another gust of wind blew his way. Then there was spinning of the darkball heartless coming for him once again. With ease, the blade cleaved off the darkball hearless in half. Another one came and he retaliated with yet another slash. His blade had managed to cleanly find its way across the darkball heartless. In merely two clean hits, he had managed to kill the darkball heartless.

Ignis had been busy hiding in a small little corner away from the heartless, taking a break from the fighting. She almost wanted to run up and smack Hikaru for his big mouth, though she also figured there was a good chance they were going to have to deal with more heartless after the last bit either way. Stratos seemed to be going as strong as usual, taking out a bunch of heartless, and she also noticed that Kaida had come over for a visit too. Ignis wondered if maybe there was a way they could just blow all these heartless up along with that guy fighting Kuma and be done with it. She got up from her hiding spot and got ready to face the next batch of heartless when a giant shadow cross over her. She turned around and her body just froze from the sheer number of heartless that were waiting above her. The hoard was filled with Darkballs, Neoshadows, and Shadows, and they were all gunning for her like a child to a chocolate cake. At that point Ignis wasn't thinking of fighting but running for her life. She kicked her legs into high gear and ran as fast as she could, running from the wave.

Running up toward Stratos, she waved her arm frantically to get his attention. "Hey, Stratos, get your butt over here and help me out with these guys!"

As she ran, she noticed the wave catching up on her, and she wasn't sure there was a way to get away. She get her keyblade ready and prepared to fight them, only to have her realize it was a terrible idea. The heartless piled on top of her, the sheer weight of the creatures squashing each and every one of the. Ignis was pinned to the ground with shadows all around her, unable to figure out what was where. She tried to move her keyblade, but felt a weight on top of it. Apparently there was a Neoshadow being dog-piled by a few shadows. At this point Ignis was finding it a little difficult to breath with all the bodies around her and couldn't think of any way to get out of this scenario but one.

"Stratos, if you're close by, you better take cover!" She forced her arm free from the neoshadow and threw a punch as hard as she could to every heartless that was close by to her.

As the seconds slowly passed by, Ignis quickly lit her keyblade up and blew flames all around her. Hopefully the heat was enough to get rid of some of the heartless, but she was finding it hard to get anything out with what little concentration she was able to muster. With a last ditch effort, she blew out as much flames as she could, as if letting all the air out of her lungs at once, and at the same time, the heartless she had punch started to glow. She blew the heartless away with a mass of heat, and the heartless began blowing up like fireworks, knocking each other this way and that, scattering them across the area. She didn't notice if she had actually taken out any heartless, but she was more interested in catching her breathe with some fresh air. Trying to stand up straight, she felt a little dizzy and off balance, falling to the ground. She figured letting all those flames out at once was probably not a good idea, and way past her current limit with her aura abilities. She waved to Stratos, signaling him to give her a hand.

Seeing Kel and Luna still in his rear view, he looked on to the horde in front of him. Several shadow heartless had already made their way into his general vicinity, sneaking into the ground as he took a few steps back. He shot several blizzard spells along the ground, managing to immediately get rid of the ones charging at him from a higher vantage point. He had managed to fire three powerful blizzard spells, that managed to help get rid of any of the oncoming threats before having to wait for the other half of the shadow heartless swarm to rise up from their shadow sneak forms. He took his keyblade, and watched carefully as they scurried under the ground beneath his feet. Hikaru's Aerora spell was still in effect so at least he had a powerful wind barrier on his side for when they would try and pop out of the ground to attack him. He crossed his eyes back and forth as held his keyblade firmly in preparation for their onslaught. They rose from the ground in time for Hikaru to let loose his ground combos to scatter and destroy any of them from coming near himself or towards Kel and Luna. He kept his legs low and his strikes accurate as he slashed away at the targets, causing them to disappear. Taking on solely shadows, he managed to help the group while preventing himself from challenging som of the more fierce heartless.

Coming back from his attacks on the shadow heartless, he looked around the battlefield. His eyes flew over to the giant darksides he planned to avoid, as a couple of keyblade wielders from his group were already taking on the giant one on the left side of the island. Aux and Aislinn were taking on the darkside all by themselves, and from the look of things, wearing them down quite a bit. Two of the strongest keyblade wielders were duking it out with the big guns and he was still on the ground floor attacking shadows. The more he looked around the battlefield, the more he tried to wonder how everyone else was fighting in comparison to himself. One member of their party he took great interest in was Stratos. He had only partied with him in Space Paranoids, but from what he saw and heard, he was always there on the front line of the battle, ready to fight without a moments notice. Stratos fought many at once and always managed to find ways to eliminate multiple enemies in a small time span. From what he could see in his arsenal, Stratos' abilities and skills were more or less on par with everyone else's. His strength seemed relatively average in many areas also. Not that it was necessarily a downside, but it still made him curious to see what drove him to fight so hard so quickly.

Before he walked over to ask, Bambi pranced alongside him once more, dropping another group of MP bubbles before Hikaru would stop to pet him. "Okay, that's good for now pal. Thanks..." Bambi nodded before disappearing from the field, but not before replenishing Hikaru's MP by a small margin. As Hikaru rushed over passed numerous heartless, he could feel that his wind barrier was also fading. At the rate the wind was slowing and deteriorating, the defensive wind spell would probably run out of time by the time he's approach Stratos. Watching him perform a potent thunder styled attack on a nearby heartless, Hikaru began slowing down as he approached Stratos. "Whoa... where'd you learn that?" he asked. He wished to get to know Stratos a bit better in order to see what kept his drive going. Maybe even learning a bit more about him.

As Stratos continued his trail towards the dark side heartless, the large figure getting ever closer with each step he took, his attention was called back towards something else. Hearing the voice of Ignis call out to him, he turned around to notice that a swarm of heartless were coming after her. While the boy figured she had it under control, the girl was soon overwhelmed by the flood that was coming towards her. Stopping in his tracks, the boy started to run after her, trying to keep her from being swallowed by the swarm of darkness, only for the girl to shout at him to take cover. He wasn't quite sure what she was talking about, continuing to press forward only to stop as he saw a faint glow being to form from underneath the swarm. Figuring out what was about to happen, the boy quickly jumped into the air, casting Graviga on himself to make himself weightless and float much higher into the air then normal. As the glow grew, it soon launched itself into a large outburst of flame, engulfing the heartless that had been swarming the girl. Having been safe from the attack, he started to descend, returning his gravity to normal as he saw the girl wave for him to come closer, seemingly out of breath.

As he landed, Hikaru called out to him, the boy looked over, giving a short wave. Wondering where he learned the technique he used, the boy looked confused for a second, saying, "Graviga? I just kind of picked it up? Well, it was Gravity and then it just naturally evolved over time. Though, I'm not entirely sure where I learned gravity in the first place...instinct? Well, regardless, that was just graviga amplified by one of my Auras from becoming a master. The space - er, the Gravity one. Still a bit tripped up by that." As he answered the question, he then realized that Hikaru also probably already knew Gravity, and thus was probably asking about something else. Thinking back to all the moves he had just used, he landed on the most recent one and snapped his fingers, saying, "oh. Fox taser. Yeah, I picked that up in the last world I went to. Kind of emulates a weapon that this fox and bunny had - they were like people but animals - called a taser. Only this one is a lot more violent and deadly, as I have just learned." Seeing a few neo shadows begin to converge on Ignis's position, as well as a handful of regular shadows, he held up a hand towards Hikaru saying, "excuse me, there's someone in need of my aid."

Spinning his keyblade, the boy took a deep breath as cherry blossom petals began to fall from the sky. Time began to crawl on forward, only for the heartless to completely stop in their track. Looking at the three neo shadows, the boy vanished from where he was standing next to Hikaru, only to appear next to Ignis in the next instant. A large slash appeared across each of the neo shadows, only for them to pause mid leap as well. The slash expanded, and the heartless, both neo shadows and regular shadows in total, were cut in half, their bodies dissolving back into darkness. Looking to Ignis he said, "sorry for taking so long." Noticing she seemed very unsteady on her feet he said, "hey are you able to keep going like that?" Pointing his keyblade towards her, he cast a cura spell over her, hopefully alleviating some of the exhaustion she was feeling.

As Aislinn stopped to nurse her side for a moment or two she could hear Aux calling out for her as they fought, offering her an extra little boost to her attack. There was a genuine smile on her face, despite the pain and everything that she was going through. From when they began in the pride lands to this point she had really noticed Aux grow. He also went from wanting nothing to do with her, to fighting alongside her, and now to fighting with her, actually them helping each other out. It was something she hadn't thought that she would get to see coming into this battle. By the time they had finished the pride lands, Aislinn had assumed that Aux legitimately just didn't like her at all and nothing could make that change. Now through the heat of battle and a common enemy that wasn't considered meddling in the affairs of other worlds, they had grown to become allies.

Running towards Aux she let him boost her up, using her own strength to push herself up off his hands and towards the darkside. Between the two of their strengths combines, she managed to get more air than she originally expected as she let the momentum carry her towards the large creature, preparing herself to make one, devastating attack on the creature as to do as much damage as they could in that singular attack. As she neared the darksides head, Aislinn tried her best to turn in such a way to do as much damage as possible as her strikes slashed across it's face in a cross pattern as it reeled back in pain for a moment. After the slash however came the inevitable plummet back down the the ground.

While she had fallen from that height once just before, as she landed this time, Aislinn didn't expect the jarring pain that shot up her side as her feet hit the ground, causing her to collapse forward for a moment. She grunted as she grabbed at her wound for a moment trying to regain her ability to move properly. A quick glance over at Aux and she knew that this was not the time to be weak. Although injured and prone, she barely managed to move out of the way of the next attack before forcing herself back to her feet, looking over at Aux, sucking in heavy breaths as she gave him the thumbs up. "Your turn." She told him as she took a step back.

Looking around she also noticed quite a few others talking, and Aislinn figured since things were going well she would try and keep her mind off the pain by talking herself a bit, hoping that Aux would respond well. "So Aux... Tell me." She started as she stopped and gripped her side again before deciding to try and shake it off taking a defensive stance against the Darkside so he wouldn't catch her off guard. "What brought you to the Mark of Mastery exam? You weren't with the group when we first entered, and we did it in part to help get us out of our situation, so what brought you to it? This Mark of Mastery seemed far from the traditional methods, I was surprised to see anyone else there with us." She tried to offer an explanation for her inquiry. At the time she noticed that he joined she really didn't think anything of it, but after trying to befriend him a bit and seeing his connection with Hikaru and Kaida, Aislinn couldn't help but be a little curious about the story.

With Luna being away from the immediate harm that was the Invisibles that had grabbed her, it was time to deal with the other hordes of heartless. No sooner than he'd thought that, a small group of invisibles had headed over to where they were. Naturally their attention was turned towards Luna following the display of light that she had shown off earlier. "I'll take care of these ones!" He called out to Luna and Hikaru then ran off to intercept the oncoming heartless trio. They were ready for the keyblade wielder this time and surprisingly accelerated towards him. From three different angles they struck at him, two on each of his sides and one head on. They weren't leaving him much room to evade any attacks. Realizing this Kel stopped his progress and braced himself for their attack. He'd managed to block the first two attacks with his keyblade, but there was still the third one poised to strike. Blocking this attack required some creativity on Kel's part. His foot raised up and aura triggered, causing the heartless's blade to freeze completely upon reaching his foot. It had be to quite the sight for anyone who happened to see this for Kel was standing there, foot in the air, having a blade completely frozen by said foot with two others sword being stopped by his own two. Certainly an impressive feat that he's managed to do it, but now he needed to get the heartless back. His aura reacted to his desire and added a thin coat of ice to his keyblade, making so that the swords of the invisibles had literally slipped off of his keyblades and into the ground behind him. This granted him exactly what he needed to slam the other invisbles blade in the ground with his own foot.

From there Kel again used the blade as a stepping stool to run on, right towards the invisibles head. The invisible raised its free arm and attempt to swat Kel off of its arm, if not grab and subsequently crush him. He wasn't about to let that happen. Right as it was seemingly about to grab him, the attack was stopped with a quick gravity spell that sent the hand crushing down into the island ground. Seemingly he was in the clear and Kel speed up is run to catch the heartless off guard. He leap off of its shouldn't and struck its head with a powerful vorpal blitz attack. Its head had busted open, allowed darkness to pour out while the body itself came collapsing down onto the ground. During this process, the other invisbles had just managed to free their swords from the ground in which they had been planted and spotting their ally defeated, but Kel still standing seemingly enraged them. The duo hesitated not in turning their sights at the keyblade wielder again, who was still in the process of landing. Kel knew that he wouldn't be able to dodge the attack and prepared to block it. The Invisible hit hard, really hard for Kel came crashing down into the ground. The impact had left Kel in pain as he struggled to get back to his feet. In the time he did that, both invisible had turned away from him to continue thier approach on Luna. One had taken one last look at Kel before joining his comrade. It took a bit before he was completely on his feet again and running after the two invisbles that had just left. He'd manage to make a path of ice using his aura to catch up to the heartless that had left and strike one of them in its leg, bringing it down to its knee.

Ignis stayed on the ground, woozy from whatever we was feeling. As she was on the ground, Stratos came over and took out a couple of heartless that were coming up on her, and then helped her up with a Cure spell. Ignis looked over and saw Hikaru standing along the way, and waved to him. She managed to get up after a minute and dusted off her clothes. She was getting more sand on her clothes and in her hair than she would have ever preferred; after this she was going to find a lake, river, or some kind of water source and jump right in to get all of it off. Looking around, a lot of the heartless she blasted were still laying on the ground, knocked out from her little fireworks show. She was just glad that there wasn't another wave after her, because she wasn't sure she'd be willing to use her flames as much again knowing how helpless it left her.

Looking to Stratos she gave a thumbs up sign. "Well, better late than never. Could have used you before I became a pancake under a giant mass of heartless though. Thanks for the pick-me-up, apparently lighting the whole area on fire in a giant blaze of glory does not sit well with me. I'm guess I'll have to be careful not too push it any further with this aura stuff. Maybe I should stick with the simple 'sending flame waves and cooking the heartless to a crisp"."

She looked around to see what was next. Turing around she noticed a giant heartless towering above them. Blinking her eyes, trying to make sure she wasn't seeing anything, she then noticed that there wasn't just one, but two giant heartless. Taking a moment to take in the scene, she turned around and looked back at Stratos and then to Hikaru.

"So....there's a giant heartless right behind me...right? I'm not just imagining it? Because I don't remember that being there a minute ago. Either that or I was too busy running for my life that I completely failed to miss the obvious. Well, I'm just going to go this direction away from the large Heartless that most likely will be a pain in the butt to kill, and focus completely on the ones that are taking a nap around here for now."

She went over to a couple of the heartless that were lying down and brought her keyblade out, lighting it on fire and shooting it through them. She figured that if she could send out flames in a giant area like before and like she's been doing with those attacks of hers, she should be able to direct the flames into a smaller, more condensed area and shoot them out at once. She walked over to the next heartless, a little Shadow that was twitching on the ground and was about to get rid of it when it simply dissipated on its own. Ignis seemed a little shocked, figuring that maybe the heartless was trying to hold on after getting knocked around, but she never figured the small ones as the type to linger if they were basically done for. Grabbing her keyblade, she walked over to Hikaru.

"So, how are we handling ourselves? Have any enjoyable moments with these little guys that you'd rather forget about? Oh yeah, you know if Aux is handling himself any better?" She wasn't really sure what to say, but figured that if there was someone else around, she might as well try to start a conversation or something; it seemed like a better idea than just spending the whole time running around crazy and knocking out Heartless.

As Ignis seemed to be a bit better on her feet now, seeming to acknowledge that she put too much effort into that last attack, Stratos felt more relieved now. If one of them were to be too exhausted now, it would be disastrous for the rest of them, and even more so for that person. All the same, the girl seemed to resolve to no longer over exert herself to that extent, which got Stratos thinking. Creating large explosions wasn't entirely out of his repertoire of skills, even outside of the sun based limit that he tended to throw around without much care. So, he was wondering if he was having an issue similar to him and mastering the power of the soldier job he was having older. It would make sense as the girl told him herself that she hadn't much experience in using magic before, and only ever used it as an assist tool rather than her main form of magic. As such, she was probably just abusing the power boost the aura was giving her and taking it too far. While he was going to tell her to try and take it slow, she already seemed to figure this out herself and just went back to shooting out small waves of flames instead.

As she went to ask about the giant heartless behind her, he looked to Hikaru, and then back to her, nodding. "Yeah, those are the kinds that uh, that one guy from the Order - I don't really know his name - destroyed when he fell from the sky. Those two just kind of appeared along with the rest of the heartless when this current wave was summoned." Looking between the two large humanoid heartless that were walking around, he pointed to the one farther from them and said, "Aislinn and Aux are dealing with that one over there," he said barely making out the figures of the two keyblade masters. As Ignis mentioned that she would rather stay as far as possible from the heartless, Stratos was about to speak up, but the girl seemed to become preoccupied with a few nearby heartless, letting loose a wave of flame and burning them up. Looking around, Stratos noticed a few other neo shadows that were near them, taking note of the group and looking ready to pounce on them. Thinking he had to go and take care of them, the boy spun his keyblade in his hand, tossing the spinning blade in a strike raid at a nearby shadow between the neo ones.

As he summoned his keyblade back to him, the boy started to rush towards the heartless, meeting them head on. With a snap of his fingers, three of the charging heartless were suddenly subjected to the effects of his Graviga spell, beginning to float into the air. The two neo shadows on the ground continued their charging, spinning in a vertical way, perpendicular to the ground. As the heartless made their way towards him, the boy pointed his keyblade at them, water forming at its tip. "Aqua Splash." As he called out the attacks name, four bubbles were launched from his keyblade, being sent towards the heartless, it exploding against their bodies and destroying them instantly. Stabbing his keyblade into the ground he then said "Thundaga!" causing massive lightning bolts to rain from the sky, felling the three neo shadows that were suspended in the air. Looking over to Ignis and Hikaru he said, "I know you said you wanted to avoid it, but, I'm going to go take that other big heartless head on. After all, we have to face it eventually, and the longer we let it keep moving around the more of a chance it'll cause trouble for all of us. Either of you are free to join me if you'd like."

Things only seemed to get worse for the group. Even more heartless appeared and Ananta could only do so much. Taking a moment to catch her breath, she thought of a strategy. She could simply fight as many of the vast amount of small ones and eventually be able to fight larger ones. That way, there wouldn't be so many chipping away at her when she attempted to attack the largest one. Besides, her allies were already dealing with the bigger one as she dodged around.

She stopped and stood atop a tree, glancing down at everyone. First off, she decided, they all needed some healing. Luckily for her, she could totally run to everyone and heal them. Nodding to herself, Ananta brought her keyblades out. Whether this worked was all up to her ability to seal with the heartless in a timely manner. She jumped and landed, looking around and running first towards Steel. She watched him until he was done before she tossed a Curaga his way. “It's the least I could do.” she said, turning to see Luna close by. Wasting no time, she hopped by and used Curaga on Luna.

Sending a smile Luna's way, she then ran off. Her eyes were now set on Ignis who seemed just a little off. She stopped long enough to Curaga her. “Chin up.” she said, giving a peace sign. Stratos happened to be nearby, so he was next on her list. She raised her keyblade and watched the magic envelope Stratos. “Enjoy!” she exclaimed, running off towards Kel. She stopped a moment to catch her breath. “Long time no see.” she said, smiling at Kel. She waved her hand at him as she cast the Curaga spell on him. “See ya later.”

Ananta’s feet were sore from running, but she had to keep moving and healing everyone. She ran straight to her cloaked companion, Aislinn, and slid beside her as she landed from her latest fight. “Take this.” Ananta said, giving her a Curaga spell. Taking a breath, Ananta could only do one more spell before she needed to recover. Her magic was nearly depleted, but her determination was still strong. Skipping over to Aj, she pointed her keyblade at him before she fell to her knees. She knew doing this was dangerous, but it was absolutely necessary. It was the least she could do after they remembered her once she disappeared. Her greatest fear was being forgotten and her friends all remembered her. Even the ones who were at odds with her.

Standing back up, she shook a little and took a deep breath. She already felt a little bit of her magic coming back. Not wanting to stray too far from Aj in case something happened, Ananta started swinging and striking down smaller heartless. As she did, she already had in mind who was next to get healing. Fighting the heartless was also rather therapeutic. It helped her think to herself about the situation they were all in. And it finally let her think of her job of being a Master of the keyblade. A smile crept on her face as she quickly dispatched of the last few heartless she needed to heal the last of her comrades.

Ananta immediately fixed her eyes on Beuce. “Beuce! Take this healing!” she called out, pointing her keyblade at him with a Curaga spell heading his way. “We need to talk again sometime. Catch you later!”

Hilary was next on her list and, luckily, he was just finished fighting some heartless. “Hello fearless leader. I've come to ou in your time of need to present you with healing.” she said, laughing at the way she was acting before she cast Curaga on him. She gripped her chest a moment before turning around to Kaida. She was finally the last one that needed healing. As she made her way to Kaida, her vision started to blur. She finally stopped right by Kaida and put her hand on her shoulder. “H...Here…” she went, the spell cast as she fell forward, passing out.

As Aislinn asked how he came to be in the Mark of Mastery Exam, Aux had to take a moment to reflect. He had all his memories restored so he was trying to recall just what it was that brought him to Shibuya in the first place. As far as everyone else was concerned, Sho Minamimoto; the devilish game master that he was, simply put him there for giggles. But it was more complicated than that. Before the events in the realm of darkness, Aux had knocked most all of the SOS members into the realm of darkness after the fall of Disneytown. After the world's demise, he had gone back to No Heart to report and then... Hard as he tried to remember, not all of Aux's memories had returned to him. He remembered that No Heart had sent him on a mission to complete in the realm of darkness, but what was it? And why was he so eager to follow the master that tried to get him to destroy his friends? A lot of Aux's past actions didn't make much sense to him as far as going through with them was concerned. As far as Aislinn and the JJ kid was concerned, he was just another person from the group's past with troubling tendencies. Even if he didn't initially get along with them during his time in the Pridelands, Aux didn't want to stir up more conflict than the giant heartless horde battle that they were currently facing. He turned his head to Aislinn after she had finished her assault and scratched the back of his heads as he tried to muster a good enough explanation that would satisfy her curiosity on the subject. "Well uhh... I used to train with Hikaru and Kaida for a while. I was friends with them for a while before I uhh... lost contact with them for a while. For some reason I was drawn to Shibuya while I was in the realm of darkness, and then Sho got a hold of me and well... I can't remember much else about why he abducted me. And one thing led to another and I found myself subbing in for some guy that didn't make it past the first part." The more he spoke aloud, the more he began to wonder if that explanation at all would be suffice enough for her. Before he continued on he could feel the darkside walking closer and closer towards them. He could see from the corner of his eye, that the darkside was preparing to raise it's hand as if it were preparing to crash it down in front of the two. Not wishing to be interrupted, he quickly turn to his left, and gave the darkside a hard punch to the shin with his left fist. The darkside heartless stumbled back a few feet almost as if it was going to lose it's balance. With the darkside temporarily off balance, Aux turned back to Aislinn to finish his explanation.

"Anyways, I guess I joined here more by circumstance than desire." He looked back to Kaida and Hikaru here were fighting away on opposite sides of the battlefield. Part of him was just thankful that he didn't end up finishing them off. That darkness he held inside him made him fear the future and what part he would play in it. As he thought about this, Ananta quickly slid onto the scene yelling "Take this!" as she cast a quick cure spell. The girl then dashed away as quickly as she came, leaving Aux to look up and down obliviously at Aislinn. "When did you get injured?"

Nodding to Ananta in thanks as she took off, Steel turned his attention to his adversaries once more. He was barely even scratched, but she was presumably rushing off to make sure everyone was alright, so the least he could do was thank her. Shrugging aside the lesser heartless for now, Steel found himself targeting Neoshadows this time around. Standing right across from him at this very moment was a group of five. However, as with the Neoshadow he had faced during the last wave, the ones before him were exhibiting... unique traits, as well as strange behavior. For one thing, the entire group was dressed in a wide array of clothing. They each seemed to have their own colors and styles. The two standing farther from him seemed to be mostly dressed in female attire, with one wearing a set of robes with a mostly white coloration, and the other was in a sort of green leotard with long sleeves. Of the three closer ones, two were dressed in armor; one was mostly in white with a few wavy, blue stripe like designs, and the other entirely in a sort of teal blue with a helmet that was shaped vaguely like some sort of reptilian animal. A dragon perhaps. They each held weapons, the white one a sword, and the blue a spear. The third seemed to be dressed mostly in loose clothing for freedom of movement. It also had a mask on its face and held both a dagger as well as a deadly looking Katana. Having spent much time using certain skills the Keyblade had granted him, Steel could easily identify this being as a Ninja. If he had to venture a guess based on this, he would say that the one in white robes was most likely a white mage. One that could move fast and one that could heal. Not even being able to determine the abilities of the others and he already knew this would be a tough fight.

The Neoshadows took the initiative, and as one rushed him with its sword, the spear-toting heartless made a ridiculously high leap into the air. For a few moments, all he could focus on was doing his best to block and parry the blows of his direct opponent with his own blade. However, a glint in the corner of his eye told him the Ninja was hoping to blindside him and, once newly aware of his surroundings, he was able to make out a distinct whistling sound coming from above him. Fortunately for him, what seemed to be a clever coordination from the trio quickly fell apart when Steel shoved the swordsman away for long enough to backflip out of the way of his other two assailants. The ninja was unfortunate enough to rush straight into the path of the spear-mans falling lance. Impaled on the ground and struggling, the ninja was given a mercifully quick death when Steel thrust the 'Artisan Shard' into its head. Not giving the one in blue time to recover, he swung his Keyblade upwards and sent the draconic warrior flying away from its weapon. Steel heaved said weapon from the ground as he flung a quick Stopga at the white mage, knowing that of the four remaining targets, it was the most dangerous. With some distance between them, Steel enchanted the lance in his grip with a Firaga spell before throwing it with all his strength. His aim was true and the projectile tore through its path like a flaming Meteor, taking out several heartless on the way to its destination.

The heartless and its robes vanished in a puff of smoke, as did a sizable number of shadow heartless. Keeping his sight on the three remaining as the blue went to retrieve its lance, Steel taunted:

    "Who wants to be next?"
