Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Ignis walked through the portal and ended up in the middle of a large city. It seemed a lot like Shibuya with the tall buildings, the vehicles, and...the animals? Ignis was confused about what was going on and looked around, realizing everywhere she looked there were only animals and no humans. Though the animals seemed to be wearing clothes like humans, so she figured she was stuck in a world where there weren't any humans around. Then she looked down and realized she was further off the ground than usual. Looking closer, she noticed that her boots were gone and in place were giant cat feet, and her legs were larger than usual with orange and black stripes.

"Don't tell me..." She walked over to a window and looked in then let out a big sigh.

Luckily most of her clothes were still in place, but instead of normal human skin, she had the body of a tiger, with the tail and ears included. She even had gained some muscle coming to this world, but thankfully is wasn't a large amount. She figured it made sense, given how large tigers normally were, but she wasn't a fan of being an animal again either. The reason she picked this world in the first place was because it looked like she wouldn't have to worry about becoming an animal. Though on the bright side, at least she wasn't a stupid deer this time, and as odd as it looked, it seemed like her hair had somehow come intact.

Over to her side she noticed a group of animals consisting of a rabbit, wolf, hedgehog, and a raccoon. Somehow she could tell who they were, though she wondered if maybe it was the hair that did it. She walked over to Stratos and Beuce and wondered what to say, considering the last thing she did was nearly chop Stratos in half.

"So it looks like we're all stuck as animals in this one, huh? Am I the only one that wants this world to be done with quickly?"

 

Hearing Luna, Kel looked towards his now hare partner. "Probably so we don't draw in too much attention by being the only humans walking about here." Not too long after he had said that, they were joined by Stratos, Steel and Ignis, each in their own different animal form. Now they needed to find the first place that they needed to go too and somewhere with authority was as good of an idea as any. It worked backed in Sanfransokyo after all. "Its a good starting place, so let's get it a shot."

 

Kaida saw the preparing for the pounce and backed away slightly before tried summoning her keyblade. The keyblade ended up appearing in her mouth and Kaida was a bit off balance as she found herself charging forward and hitting Ed. Kaida was a bit taken aback at the suddenness of how she moved, and she wasn't fond of keeping the keyblade in her beak but there wasn't much she could do. She turned to look over at Aux and Hikaru in a bit of surprise before Ed moved to retaliate and Kaida let out a frightened noise and used the keyblade again. Trying to get a hand of maneuvering it in this manner. She couldn't fly, so she couldn't get it in her claws, so this would have to do. The blonde got a few more hits in before she backed away looking at the others, hoping maybe they'd jump in soon.

Andrew turned and noticed that Aislinn had shown up. Aislinn then said that they should be able to speak to them. As you said we are animals as well. He gave a slight nod in her direction. That was when Ananta showed up and boy he was not sure what to say. That was when Ananta landed on Aislinn's antler. It was a wonder how she did not impale herself. Aux showed up shortly after and seemed to be a lion too. Hikaru said that it was pretty cool to be animal. He thought so but Aux did not seem to think this way. Aux seemed to be making a fool of himself. He did not seem to be the same person as he was on the last mission but that did not mean he should not be careful. The conversation continued for some time until Aislinn asked 'So.... what direction?' He thought that any direction was just as good as any. In every direction he looked there was nothing but dirt and dust.

Hikaru then sniffed the air, he did not to see what Hikaru was trying to sniff. Hikaru was right whatever it was it was far off. He was about to say something when a trio of hyenas stepped in from behind a rotting tree. Oh, fantastic he thought. He would not get to say what he was going to say now. He gathered that one of the hyenas was not that smart maybe he could use that somehow. He wondered if the others picked up on it too. It was kind of dumb to cross a lion if you were a hyena much less two. Then Aux continued to make a fool of himself. He did not know why Aux was still doing that he probably was not doing that on purpose. One of the hyenas began to nudge Kaida toward the center more. It seemed to be that kaida was there first choice. that was when one of them said, 'Either way, they got Lions... and scar said no lions from outside the pridelands' Then Hikaru asked, 'Who's Scar?' Perhaps it was possible to trick them and find out information, but first he would have to scare them or take care of them somehow. Kaida seemed to be having trouble using her keyblade. Aislinn wound probably use her antlers to fight so she would probably be fine.

He spotted one of the hyenas looking a different direction that one he thought and begin to move so that he would have a good angle to attack from.

Andrew jumped towards Banzai from behind and was able to knock them over. Banzai then stood up, whelp this was not going to be as easy as he thought it would be. They were certainly stronger then they looked. Banzai jumped at him he went down and laying on his back kicked up with his feet sending Banzai over him. Banzai then had a look like they were ready for the next attack.

Ananta shook her head at Aislinn. "No, it's like sitting on a twisted branch. I'll be fine so long as I don't sit upon the top." she chuckled, looking around some more. She was about to pipe up with suggestions when she heard cackling and footsteps. Three hyena looking creatures came forward and started to tease and torment the group. Tilting her head, curious to what the three were saying, Ananta saw them stare and talk about eating the group. "Wait, do they want to eat us....?" Ananta blinked. "Oh no, none of us are gonna taste good at all, I swear!" She tried to reason with the three things, to no avail.

Ananta flew up above the oncoming commotion and watched her comrades start to fight. They were all attacking the different hyenas. Ananta watched the three hyenas and came to a conclusion that the female sounding one had to be the leader. Taking the leader down would be her best bet right now, so Ananta summoned her keyblade....in her talons? She immediately got weighed down a little bit, but amazingly, the keyblade had shrunk down with Ananta. So she was able to wield it just as effectively now as she had been as a full bodied person.

Smirking, Ananta rushed towards Shenzi and whacked her with her keyblade a few times. Although, Shenzi got back and swiped at Ananta just as much. Thankfully, Ananta was able to fly out of reach and continue her assault. Flying backwards, she let her party get in their own hits. During that time, she started to formulate a plan. She'd go for the leader first, then she'd go for the pushover male, and finally, she'd help finish off the rather...dumb one. The plan seemed perfect and honestly, Ananta was rather proud of herself.

Keyblade in her talons, Ananta aimed it at Shenzi and started to charge a spell. "Ok, let's see how you guys handle this one..." she said, smirking. "Fire!" she yelled, watching a firey blast launch towards the hyena. Hitting her mark, she watched Shenzi start running around, screaming and yelping in pain. "That's what you get for picking on my friends!" Ananta retorted angrily. Although at this point, Kaida was probably not all too friendly with Ananta, she didn't care. Messing with someone because they didn't look like something you knew wasn't right. Besides, Ananta thought Kaida looked rather adorable anyway.

Andrew turned while he had the opportunity to see what the others where up to. Banzai seemed to be looking for a way to attack anyways. Aux did not even really seem to know how to stand or walk around properly in the animal form he was in and continued to just lay there. He slightly wondered how they were going to get anywhere with Aux like this. Carrying him was a option but it was not the best one. That was when Aislinn said, 'Three of you against two lions, your eyes are really bigger than your stomachs aren't they?' "You know that your best option right now to leave", he told the hyenas. Maybe they were simply to dumb to understand that they had lost before the battle began. Aux just sitting still did not help there situation and maybe the hyenas had saw that and that was why they continued the fight.

Even with the five of them fighting the hyenas were outnumbered that said two of the fighters where birds and they might not see them as a threat. It looked like Aislinn had the right idea in trying to separate the hyenas from it's friends. This made him wonder why there was only three of them tho. Aislinn had the idea of fighting without her keyblade as he looked towards the battle. Ananta had already gone from Aislinn's antlers which would let her use them in battle. That was when Ananta said, 'Oh no, none of us are gonna taste good at all, I swear!' He did not think they cared all that much. From the look of things it looked like they might be the only food for a while. They would just have to not let themselves be eaten. So far looking at the battle Ananta and Kaida were the only two that summoned there keyblades. He thought that it was better to use what this animal form had given him.

Hikaru was still by Aux at this point and it did not seem like Aux would join the battle. Aislinn and Ananta were still taking care of Shenzi while, Kaida and now Hikaru were fighting Ed. It looked like he would have to fight on his own. Which was fine. He kept tring to keep Banzai in sight but it was not that easy because the hyena kept on moving probably looking for a opportunity to attack him. That was when, Hikaru opened his snout nice and wide, before clamping them shut on Ed's tail. The result, caused Ed to let out a wicked YELP in pain. He turned to get a better look and boy it looked like Ed was in pain.

Aislinn, and Hikaru, like him seemed to prefer not using the keyblade. He himself thought that it would be less fun when he could just use his own body. Aislinn was trying to get Aux to fight which only time would tell if that worked. They still did not know who Scar was and he was still trying to think of a way to get them to say something. Play stupid was probably the best option. "So What is You plan exactly. I am not so sure about it it was not that clear", he said this acting like he had no clue.

As he said this Banzai seemed to be and get the more aggressive. The hyena then jumped out at him. He was not that ready. he was able to move slightly so the hyena did not get him in the face but the claws had got him on his right side Luckily it did not get him to bad. He use using his own claws got Banzai good on the left side. Why did he have to get the more aggressive one?

Kaida's mouth was full, and she was being asked questions. When Hikaru had made a joke well... she didn't get it. When Hikaru turned to ask her for approval, she answered with her mouth still holding her keyblade, "y dn geddit. Aw hyanesss inhewentwy funny? Issh thathe jowk?" then the hyena began... going after a tree. After Hikaru's question about him forgetting to fight, Kaida raised her wings up almost in a sort of 'iunno' shrug before she ran at the hyena again, throwing her keyblade at Ed. As her mouth was free she said, "Carrying these things is annoying and these animal bodies are less exciting when you're using the keyblade and you're a BIRD." the keyblade then swung back and she caught it with her mouth again and kept trying to use the keyblade, regardless of whether or not everyone else used their bodies.

Stratos looked around to see that everyone else was taking in the fact that they were animals, to which he merely nodded at Ignis. "I uh, don't want to be in this body any longer than I have to." The boy the nodded at Luna's suggestion and Kel's affirmation for this suggestion, saying, "yeah, let's go find it." With that, the groups started to wander around the city until they found the building in question, entering it, and seeing a rather portly looking...leopard, at the desk. While it was far from the only animal that Stratos had scene here, it still felt odd to be in a world entirely of walking and talking animals. Regardless, he walked up to the front desk saying, "hello, um, sir. We're a bit new around here and a bit lost. Could you tell us where we are?"

Andrew stood there looking for a way to end the battle faster. He would just to find a way. The hyenas had not said anything to anything he said. They seemed to be focused on the battle to hear anything. The faster the battle was over the better he thought. Kaida seemed to still be doing well in the battle. He had to strike Banzai then get away and keep his distance until Banzai got tired or they rain off. Thinking about the possible information he might get from the hyenas he thought that it might be not true but it was still information they might be able to use. It looked like the battle might be over soon anyways so one way or another they would know what was to come.

That was when Hikaru decided to summon his keyblade and he wondered why. Maybe he figured that fighting from a distance was better then fighting up close. He himself did not want to use his keyblade just yet. He was not sure using the keyblade was even a good idea. He wondered if he could somehow use magic with out the keyblade and this was the first time he really thought about it. It was probably best not to think about it right now. And in the middle of a battle was probably not the best time to test it out. Looking at Aislinn's battle it looked like it might be over soon. He wondered who she would go over and help. Shenzi was in charge from what he could tell and he was sure that everything would fall apart once she was dealt with.

With that said and done and not thinking that any of the hyenas would give information it was time for attack. It was not easy to find a way to attack because every time he moved to get a better angle Banzai would turn so that they were always facing him. Luck was on his side tho. As he was about to give up and just attack Hikaru blizzard spell caught the attention of Banzai giving him the opportunity to attack.

He jumped at Banzai and got the hyena good one the back side after his attack he back off a little so that he would not get hit by a counter attack. He gave Hikaru a slight nod in thanks as he thought of another attack plan.

Stratos was a bit confused by the whole exchange that was going on. He wasn't exactly keeping up with what direction the conversation was going as the man talked about when he started to speak to someone else known as "the chief." The boy stood around, waiting for the conversation to end, only for the man to then seem to think they were officers from a far away place. While Stratos might've tried to tell the man otherwise, the situation already seemed to be escalating a bit, and they were still on a mission in this world. The missions generally involved helping others, and that was a police man's job, so Stratos figured the misunderstanding probably wasn't too bad to go along with for now. Looking to everyone he shrugged and said, "well uh, we're cops now. Go figure. " He still seemed to be confused by all of this but didn't elaborate on that any more.

After changing into the new police uniform and finding their way to the parking lot, the boy looked at the bundle of tickets he had on hand. "So, what do I do with these?" Unsure what the point of the tickets was, the boy simply started to move around and place a few of them on anything he could. Cars, signs, a trash can, all had a ticket placed on them before the boy looked back to the others and gave them a thumbs up before going back to the task at hand.

Andrew saw that the hyenas seemed to be tiring out. It would not be long now until the battle was over. Earlier Hikaru had said to Kaida she should see what abilities her animal form has. I made him wonder what else he could do beside jumping, using his claws and biting. At the moment he could not think of anything. He did not think that it would matter all that much considering that the hyenas seemed to be tiring out. After his last attack Banzai seemed to just get more angry and crazy. The hyena stared attacking him left and right like a crazy animal. He just had to keep moving or he would get hit. Banzai seemed to be getting closer to him. It was lucky that there were in a open area or he might be in trouble.


He was sure if the area was closed off he would have been hit by now. He had plenty of space to move around. Several times the hyena go really close to getting their claws into him and at one point almost bit him. He looked over to Aux hoping that he might join in and help but of course he that was not going to happen. Aux was the same as he was before not helpful at all just like he was in Game Central Station. Same old same old he thought something was different but no he was the same. Aux had not moved that much since they got here. He wondered that if at this rate if Aux would fail the Mark of Mastery, but the more he thought about it the more he thought that would be too easy to get rid of him that way. The Mark of Mastery had so many twists and turns so far, he would not be surprised in the slightest if Aux somehow made it through. Shenzi and Banzai were looking rough it would not be long now he thought.


That was when Aislinn summoned her keyblade in her mouth. Well it looked like he was the only one that decided not to use it although it would be helpful. Then Shenzi fell to the ground. Good it was over he thought, but he thought to soon as the fall of Shenzi just seemed to make Banzai angrier as the hyena just went crazier. The hyena was trying to attack him more now and was even crazier than before. Great he thought. Then Aislinn said, 'What do you say, think we can finish this one off before they finish theirs?' That was easy to say, he moved just in time just as Banzai jumped and the hyena ended up jumping over him. Man, that was close. Angry Banzai was not a good thing to deal with. "We can try." He was not sure what else to say as he was busy trying not to get killed. He was somewhat disappointed that he would not get to finish off the Hyena by himself but was thankful for the help finally.


With some of Banzai's attention on Aislinn he would now be able to attack the hyena so he did. He moved to a place to get a good attack and he jumped out and hit the hyena on the side nearly knocking the hyena over. He could tell that Banzai was tired and the hyena would soon fall. It soon would be all over. It was a good thing the hyena was getting tired. He was not sure why he was not tired, but it must have something to do with the animal body he was in.

The three hyena's were now wearing down and her party members were doing their best to keep things interesting. Although Aux was still on the ground, frustrated with himself. Ananta couldn't see why they all had to hate him still. Sure he did some bad things, but people can chance, right? Ananta believed that people could change, so she wanted to try and make friends with Aux. Unfortunately for her, she still had to deal with a few things before she could get to know Aux a little better.

To her right, Ananta saw Banzai getting roughed up by Aislinn and AJ. Ananta smiled, knowing this one was probably nearly done. So she waited for a chance and watched Banzai, trying to find an opening. She found one when she saw the hyena wobbling a little. Banzai was looking worse for wear, so she knew he was the one she had to attack. Zooming down, Ananta landed a few hits on Banzai before she decided to give him a second to swipe at her. His sluggish swipes amused Ananta greatly. She had fun with him, dodging and weaving, watching him get frustrated to the point that she felt her feathers get a little ruffled.

Ananta stayed in the air for a bit and tried to figure a way to dispose of him without being too over the top....perhaps a simple Thunder spell would do the trick? Aiming her keyblade, Ananta called out, "Thundara!" She had a smile on her face as she watched Banzai finally fall over with a whine. He wasn't dead, sure, but he was at least knocked out for now.

Looking over at Ed, she watched Hikaru use a Blizzard spell to attack him. Ed freaked out about the ice, but soon was sore from the cold and smack from Hikaru's keyblade. She watched Ed attempt to attack Hikaru and fail. Then she watched the hyena aim for him again. Not wanting to chance anything, she flew down and struck Ed across the cheek, sending him backwards "Stupid thing." she chuckled, landing on Hikaru for a moment. "I think if you and Kaida team up on him...or anybody really, you can defeat him." she said to Hikaru. "Otherwise, we've gotta watch him uh....do whatever." she chuckled. "I'm gonna go check on Aux."

Ananta fluttered over to Aux and landed on the ground next to him. "Hi there." she said, looking him over. "We haven't really talked much, but I'm Ananta. Do you need some help?" she asked, fluttering and tugging at Aux's fur. She did manage to snag his hat, which she promptly just...dropped on the ground. "Oops." she said, picking it up with her beak and shaking it a bit to get the dust off. "Hew ooh goew." she tried to say through hat in her beak.
