Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Hearing Aislinn and Ananta cry out to Luna to stop. She took a couple of deep breaths before looking back at the guards, "I'm sorry but I can't stand around when soldiers who are suppose to protect the people of their home but instead harm them.......It's a crime that's unforgivable." An expression of slight anger washed over her face as she turned around to look at the rest of the townspeople. As she as soon as she turned around, one of the soldiers stood up and and began to lift up a tomato and getting ready to aim. Luna begun to turn around and within the blink of an eye. A small child had thrown a tomato at the soldier before he could thrown at Luna. Luna ran over to the child and grabbed a tomato in her hands. "As they say, 'do to them as they have done to you'". Luna had begun throwing the tomatoes at the soldiers, but not before she got the child to safety. "Let's see what you got!!" Luna continued to pelt the soldiers with tomatoes as much and as fast as she could, attempting to draw away their focus from Aislinn and the man.

Kaida watched the heartless fly away and let her keyblade dissipate. She sighed about it getting away, but at least it would hold off on damage for the time being. When Baymax gave them all a lollipop and Hiro explained his plan and everything with the upgrades, her first comment was, "I want a lollipop... uh, I mean. Yeah. Upgrades. So is he gonna actually up grade the keyblades then? Cause that'd be cool." she walked on over towards Kel and said, "Whaddya think, Kel? We saw him do the whole initial thing with Baymax but imagine a cool and unique suited up keyblade with all the power to fight heartless and look cool while doing it?" Kaida kind of posed a bit in the middle of her monologue before thinking, "I mean, unless he just puts you into the same Baymax armor... I wonder if he makes that in smaller sizes."

Ananta watched Aislinn and Luna. She wanted to fight back, but what could she do that didn't mean actually harming the soldiers? Ananta wracked her brains a moment before she saw Luna toss a tomato. "Oh, well that's something." Ananta laughed to herself, waiting for an opportunity. When a guard threw a tomato next, Ananta managed to grab it and smirked.

The guard was surprised and wasn't really expecting her to catch it, so he was surprised when she pelted him back. "Take that!" Ananta laughed manically.

As the assault dragon had started flying off, Glen's attacks had only increased in frequency, however the moment a portal to darkness opened Glen stopped his attacks and dove off of it, actually landing in the water beneath. The cold feeling brought him to his senses, and he swam back to the group, having missed almost the entire conversation. All he had heard Hiro saying they'd all need upgrades. "Well would you look at that, it looks like he's going to make your keyblade better or something, Xara. If he can do that, I'm going to be really impressed. I like to think I'm pretty good with the history of the keyblade, and I can't think of anyone actually mechanically improving it" Glen stated, not believing even for a moment that it was actually possible. Still, it'd be pretty neat if it was do-able.

Andrew watched as the masked man went back out in the ocean. They must have been doing some good damage to scare the man away. He did not think that the man would simply just leave if he thought he could win. Really he did not know. The fog was still there so he could not really follow the masked man. 'You have all been very good. Have a lollipop!' Baymax had said. It was probably cherry flavor just by looking at the red color. Yep, because shorty after getting the lollipop Baymax said what flavor it was. 'Apprehending the man in the mask will improve Hiro’s emotional state.' They did not know where the man went and know way to follow him at the moment. 'His blood type is AB-negative. Cholesterol levels are ...' Apparently Baymax, scanned him. "Um Hiro." He walked up to the boy. "I lost the microbot you gave me. I am sorry." He was not really sure what to do. "So now what?"

"Sweet!" Xara exclaimed as she took the lolipop from Baymax and immediately took off the wrapper. She popped it in her mouth and closed her eyes in bliss. She hadn't had anything like this in an awfully long time and she felt her jaw ache from the sweetness. Never mind the dangers they just faced or the fact the guy just disappeared out of no where, she had a lolipop. Her first one since... well, however long she was in the darkness. That part was still unsure.

Glen brought her back to some reality and she smiled at her teammate with the lollipop stick poking out of her mouth. "Yeah, I didn't think it was possible either. Hey, maybe if I get mine upgraded, yours magically will too?"

She looked to A.J. after Hiro and Baymax took turns explaining how things were going to pan out from here on out. "We get upgrades!" she said, triumphantly raising her lolipop in the air. "I mean, getting that scary guy will help improve Hiro's mood, and we weren't actually too helpful with what we had. I'm down for it."

Andrew turned to Xara who just said something about getting upgrades. He said nothing to this. He was more asking what do they do now. The keyblade seemed to work on the users thoughts. So in theory the keyblade should be able to do what the user thought. So there should not really be a reason to upgrade the keyblade and that the only limit should be the users thoughts. Then again he was not really sure how the keyblade worked it just seemed to work. He would have to ask about the keyblade at another time. He let his keyblade disappear and put the lollipop Baymax gave him away. He was not a fan of cherry flavor anything. He might just have to give it to someone. Hiro then said that it was okay that he lost the microbot. He was not really expecting that reaction. 'Right now we just have to get back to working on something to try and counter the strength of that guy's microbots.' He was sure the boy would come up with something. Water did not seem to do anything to them.

He walked following Hiro back to his house. He entered the house and soon a woman came in the room. The woman's name was Aunt Cass. 'Oh, and that's so cute you've already made some college friends.' He did not know about college but he could get use to just adventuring. What exactly did this woman think Hiro was up to, because it was not school from what he could tell. The woman then said something about making snacks for everyone. It would be nice to relax a little, but he knew that they only had a day in this world. He wondered how much long they had left. It was probably best not to ask. 'Oh it's no trouble really! You're other friend is already in the kitchen.' What other friend? There was no one else that came to the world with them. Did that mean that they were not doing that well in this world that they need t be sent help. He wondered who it was. He turned to the others. "Do you think Yue sent someone in after us?" It seemed a bit odd with how thing were going. He thought it might be best to worry about it another time. 'Oh you know, the tall guy with the long face. Oh he's just been a delight.' Tall guy with a long face? They did not know anyone that fit that description, but than again it could be off. 'We get the mask, and he can’t control the bots. Game over.' That seemed easier said then done.

"Well it looks like you know what to do." He turned to look for some place to sit. He walked away from the others and found a seat and took it. That was when he remember the book he found. He did not know when he would have another chance to have a look at it so he took it out. He would have to say something to Hikaru about it when he saw him next. He opened the book to the first page and began to read.

 

How he got there was a story for another time. Why he was there was clear to him. He wasn't done with his journey. Sebastian Noble had been brought forth from the pooly darkness that the Phantom Blot had sunken him into to aide his friends. Freshly-baked cookies are known to be a welcome treat at any time, but especially when you wake from a very long, all too frigid nap.

He'd made sure to thank his hostess. Just a few more cookies, and he would bid his adieus to go look for his friends. He knew they would be here. This was not his first adventure, and things had a way of working out to give those who were connected by Fate a way to always find each other again when separated by momentary disaster.

He hoped, out of anyone, Hikaru was here. Or Beuce. Any familiar face would be welcome, really, but he hoped for the most familiar.

The idea of getting a beefed up keyblade for them to use was laid to rest when Hiro had said that the upgrades were going to be primarily for himself and Baymax. It was understandable, but it still did suck. Oh well, least there was still the lollipop that he had gotten form Baymax earlier. The candy was placed into his mouth as Kel wondered who this 'other friend' was that Hiro's aunt had mentioned. Even Hiro himself was unsure as to who it was which hurt the possibility of it being someone that he knew.

Ananta was thankful that the crowd finally stopped. She watched Esmerelda disappear in a puff of smoke. Ananta started to cough and gag before she looked up to see the crowd dispersing and Quasimodo was trying to avoid eye contact. When he mentioned sanctuary, Ananta knew that'd probably be a good idea, considering this was the second time somebody had assumed they were gypsies. Whatever that was.

Ananta turned to Steel. "Steel." she started in a low tone. "Track down this Phoebus and see if he manages to find that woman who saved us. Or even Frollo. One of those. Okay?" Ananta said.

She then turned and hurried behind Aislinn, taking cautious steps as she followed into a winding tower.

After Stratos had felled another heartless, he felt a hand come down on his shoulder. Turning around suddenly, ready to attack, he saw that it had belonged to Beuce. As the man asked if he intended to do it all by himself, Stratos looked at him curiously saying, "of course not." That was an odd question. Looking to the other member of the party, he saw that Steel too had just destroyed a fair few heartless with lightning, and the looked back at Beuce who went on his own spree. Despite his confusion, he shrugged the question off, and went back to work. As the group had continued to slay heartless after heartless, they had eventually managed to quell the darkness in the surrounding area. Looking over to the girls, they seemed to have managed stopping the guards and townspeople from doing any further harm to the hunchbacked man, and so everything seemed to work out for the best. Sort of. Stratos looked to see that while the darkness of the general area had calmed down, the one surrounding Frollo only grew in size.

Stratos's face grew slightly more grim as he looked to the rest of the group and said, "I think I'm starting to get who the monster might be." As the man declared for the knight to go search for the gypsy woman, the girls seemed to be splitting off and following the hunchbacked man. Aislinn walked over to him, telling him what she was planning on doing, and he nodded at her suggestion. "Don't worry, I'll be sure to keep an eye on one of them. Good luck with your thing." Turning to the other two in the UG, he said, "well, i'm going to follow after Frollo. Where he goes, heartless are sure to follow, so someone has to try and keep it in check."

"It'd be pretty cool if he upgraded it, but I don't think it's going to happen" Glen stated, only for that to be confirmed a couple of minutes later. "Told you so. The guy seems really smart but messing with keyblades is impossible" he explained, before walking over to Hiro and looking over his shoulder at the schematics. "Still, look at these plans. I can't understand a lot of it, but it definitely looks pretty cool. Maybe you should suggest upgrading the keyblades, Xara. He could have some ideas, you never know" the keyslinger suggested, stepping back over to his partner.

Ignis had been quiet the whole time since they finished up at the docks, and when they got back to Hiro's house, they found out that apparently Base had returned to the group. She wasn't sure where he came from, but at least they had another helping hand. Hiro didn't really seem to care too much about it though, since he was more excited about showing off Baymax in some kind of red armor. While that alone wasn't really all that impressive, he apparently had some improvements made, because Baymax fired his fist off his arm, then managed to reattach it. Even with what Ignis had seen so far, that was going on her list of "Hard to believe".

After showing off Baymax's new additions, Hiro seemed to be improving in attitude. Ignis could tell he seemed to be a lot happier now than even when they just met a little while ago. Just then, Baymax stated that he found something on an island off the coast. Ignis guessed they were going to be flying over, so she got ready to use her own glider. Seemed a little unfair that the RG people could just hop a ride on Baymax, but oh well.

"By the way, is there even enough room on Baymax for all of you guys to fit?" She wasn't really thinking about how only AJ could hear her outside of the UG group, but it seemed like a valid question.

 

Base wiped chocolate residue onto a napkin before shaking Hikaru's hand. They were equally happy to see eachother, but Base had no time to say so before taking an orange sucker offered by a robot... in a robotic suit. Worse, he almost didn't get to retrieve his lolipop from Baymax because some punk decided a weapons test was more important than sugary treats. Base decided he didn't like the kid very much for that reason. Albeit, the rocket fist was... pretty cool, he had to admit.

"So, what? We're super heroes?" Base was waiting to see where they were really going. The dangers of being out of the loop.

 

After the fighting had ended, the three of them once again split up from the girls in the RG. Ananta insisted that he should try to find either Phebus, or follow Frollo. Since it seemed illogical to split the group up even further, Steel followed Stratos’ lead, and went after Frollo. He did, however, pause momentarily when he got the oddest feeling from the general direction of the cathedral. It was as if he was missing out on something… neat. Shaking it off, he decided to attempt talking strategy with the other two.

“So, now that the riddle is infinitely more clear, what do we intend to do?” He pondered aloud. “Following Frollo is all well and good of course, but do we have any plans beyond that?”
