Glen, who had been suspiciously silent this entire time, was completely fine with the group going to fight the master blot. Sure, he would've loved to have been there helping, but they had their own battle to fight and he had his. He'd gotten up a bit ago from the cage, and was about to go and make some motivational speech or something to assist Stratos, when he saw Base esc- walking away.

Hurrying over, he grabbed Base's arm and pulled as hard as he could to get his friend over to the others. "You're doing otherwise! You are going to help, and you're going to like it. The others are relying on us, so get your ass into gear and lets go slay some blots" he said, attempting to 'guide' Base over towards Stratos.

With the teams having been decided, the first thing that Kel took notice was how unique of a team it was. Three members he had actually been on a team with before so he knew how they fought for the most part. There there was D'daear who Kel has had very little experience in working with so he was the black sheep here. Though that didn't mean that he doubted what he could do. There weren't that many people, who are still in the group anyway, that Kel either doubted or questioned.

Once again Karina was the first to head out, motioning for everyone else to do the same in her usual emotionless way. Before he could take a step forward, Stratos had approached him with a fist bump. Returning the fist bump, Kel replied with a smirk. "I plan to." Thus having said that, he followed behind the other towards their next destination and battle.

Base hurumphed and pouted. It wasn't the fact Glen was right --- they had a duty to uphold, and help save the Wastelands --- it was how he said it. Base thought and thought about his ally's words, and thought heavy things until the swelling feeling in his chest fell away and he was able to speak passed the anxiety.

"You know... you're not supposed to curse. Why does everyone ignore that rule?" It's what he'd been thinking about. The fact Glen had said "ass".

Steel silently observed as the mist enveloped everyone present. He would be lying if he said it didn't concern him slightly. If the chemical was made with the ink he absorbed, would it simply adapt and bond to their genetics like they had intended? Or had it taken some of his DNA and/or personality with it?

"Congratulations..." he muttered to himself as he drew star patterns in the air; a trail of thick black smoke searing through the pathways provided by his fingers before evaporating. "You now all have the potential to become self-righteous, undead, bratty little monsters... Oh and sarcastic. Don't forget about sarcastic."

While he had been muttering, the others had apparently chosen him as part of the squad that was going to be attacking the blot. It was kind of a surprise, but something of an honor nevertheless.

Base panicked, Glen scolded him, and Karina walked off in a random direction. He wasn't really sure if it was the right direction, but Kel was following, and if they were wrong they'd probably be informed of that fact before they got to far. He didn't really have a reason to believe that she was wrong. So after a comforting pat on the shoulder to Base (who was stewing about cursing; something Steel himself thought he was pretty good about avoiding), and a quick clawed thumbs up to everyone else he followed after his two companions.

The group marched onward to the Shadow Blot's fortress. Some had been left behind, but the committed and ready charged on in what seemed like their toughest battle yet. Oswald was in front with Mickey, Kaida, and all the others following behind him. He looked to Steel, Karina, Kel, D'daear and Hikaru as the nominated group. "Okay, Gus and the Doc will buy us some time, then once we go in blades a swingin', it'll give you guys the opportunity you need to go for the heart... And be sure to keep your eye out for that no good-"
"MORTIMER MOUSE!" A nasal voice announced. Oswald spun around to see Mortimer in the same cloak he came into this world, as smug and annoying as ever.
"Mortimer! I should've smelled you a mile away!" Mickey bursted out. "Guess your nose ain't as great as it used to be, huh Mick? hehe..." The chuckle began to fade as he inspected the keyblades Mickey and Oswald were carrying. "WHAT! That old geezer trusted the keyblades to you two mooks! The bunny I get, but a pipsqueak like Mick?!"
Oswald stepped forward. "What do you know about Yen Sid?"
"Guess Mickey forgot to leave that part out... see, I had that mirror before I pawned it off on him for some serious coin. I was the first to visit the worksop and he told me your little sob story Ozzy boy. Real shame. Truly. When I found out what the keyblade was and how worthy I was to weild it, he practically begged to teach it to me."

(A cutscene shows Mortimer begging Yen Sid instead)

A naturally smart move, he taught me a thing or two about the heart, the light, and all that other junk. Sadly, he wasn't exactly a man of vision, if you get me.. You see I told him that I wanted to use the keyblade to make Minnie's heart mine..."
    "YOU WHAT?!" Mickey yelled.
"Relax runt. He declined me... Not too mention dropping me as his student. He then enchanted the mirror so only pure hearted ones could jump on through. Not gonna lie. What I did was wrong... But you Mick? You got me beat by a mile, hyuk! You almost destroyed this place. But don't worry, the blot man and I have had a nice talk and plan to get rid of this book to get on out. No more book equals no more prison. We'll be able to hop on out and conquer DisneyTown!"
"You dolt! The blot is using you! Once he drains all the paint from wasteland, you'll be trapped like the rest of us!"
Mortimer simply shrugged him off. "Save it for the blotlings." He clapped his hands together as a crew of blotling creatures marched in front of him.
A large horde of them headed for the players, only for Oswald to smirk at their oncoming.
One by one the blots exploded from mines placed on the ground.

All players have learned Mine Shield!!!

"Thanks for that one guys," he nodded in salute to Doc and Gus who had implanted them from Dark Beauty Castle.
"Oh, you think that was it?" Mortimer laughed. "There's plenty more where that came from!" He clapped his hands as more and more blotlings came onto the scnee.
Oswald turned to the five. "You guys have gotta get going. We'll handle things here as long as we can!"

    MISSION START!
    MORTIMER BP BOSS BATTLE!

Mortimer has minions at his disposal. As he sits high on his throne, guarded by a magical veil.
There are 1,000 Blotlings with 3 BP each.
Keep an eye on the Bloticles. There are 10 of these, and they drain 1% of wasteland for everyday they are still alive.
There are 10 Bloticles and they each have 1,000 BP. If Wasteland reaches below 25%, it's GAME OVER.

Stratos headed out with the rest of the group as they seemed ready and willing to go and take on the final battle of the wasteland. He was going to make sure he did his best to stop all of the blots and make sure that the group got the proper distraction that they needed as they would make their way towards the heart of the blots in the wasteland. However, things weren't really all smooth sailing as they got to the field where they'd be fighting. Mortimer made a surprise reappearance as he went on to tell them his grand evil plot with helping the blot, only to then send an army of blotlings at them. As this started, Oswald told the group to get a move on, to which Stratos gave a thumbs up to the five saying, "he's right. Kill that blot heart as fast as you can, and don't worry about here. We've got this covered," he gestured to all of the keyblade wielders who were still here. Stratos then turned to face the rest of the blotlings, took in a deep breath, and got ready to get going into this fight.

Twirling his keyblade around, Stratos went to go test out the new blot power he got, and see just what he could do against these blots. As one of the ink monsters charged at him, ready to kill try and eat him or something, Stratos just continued to spin his keyblade before tossing it at the blotling. When the keyblade connected, it exploded into a large puddle of ink and didn't seem to be getting back up anytime soon. Realizing that he could hurt them now, the weakest keyblade wielder felt empowered and just charged right into the fray again. Rushing at the creatures, he struck one with a fire spell, causing it to explode then switched to one that tried to attack from the side and used Vorpal Blitz to strike it down. When two more attempted to charge at him, Stratos simply appeared on the other side of them with a large slash mark appearing across either of them, and both of them dying from a singular Zantetsuken. As he killed the blot lings, he then turned his attention to what looked to be a giant tentacle made of ink, that seemed to be draining the life out of everything around it.

Immediately registering that as a bad thing, Stratos got on his keyglider and took off full speed towards the creature. With it, seeing that he needed to take down the creature, he crashed into the large tentacle because he completely forgot how to attack on the keyglider briefly and plummeted to the ground. Getting back up from the tumble, he looked as he had barely dented the creature at all. Sighing, the young keyblade wielder knew that he was going to get into another long haul of a fight here.

Kaida was ready for this. If there was anything she couldn't have been more excited for it was the chance to run around and get some fighting in. Not that she hadn't had her fair share of it but the fact that these blots had essentially fought her before without any hint of a problem she was glad to have a chance to knock a bunch of them to the ground. When the five ran off she waved and said, "Good luck, you guys'll get it, I know it!"

Kaida ran on in a swinging and slashed at two blotlings at once just to get their attention. She dodge rolled a couple times to avoid getting hit herself and proceeded to shoot a couple fire spells at them before hitting them both with a sliding dash and executing them both. While she felt like at that moment just from how smoothly that went and how cool she must have looked, that appearance was quickly thrown off by the attack of another two blotlings.

Kaida cued a stop spell just in time just to slow them down and rolled out of the way to get behind at least one of them. She tripped a bit before slamming down on them with her keyblade and they were knocked back. While one faded away, the other one took a couple more slashes before it eventually fell to the same fate.

Since she was right nearby Stratos at this point she decided it was better to help him out with that bloticle because it would most likely get things done faster if they took them out one at a time with more people, rather than everyone focus on one by themselves. Kaida rolled on over and gave it one slash before she found herself being thrown back by not a tentacle but... a rock?

A rock? No it was more like a boulder considering and this wasn't the time to be a pioneer hitching a ride on one because Kaida flew pretty far. When she was finally up on her feet she looked across at this thing pissed. Of all the abilities and masterful tactics a blot, something formed entirely out of ink, could have made. It was a boulder? She felt like Mortimer must have been laughing at that moment and Kaida charged on towards it in a fury and hit it a few more times, though she didn't exactly get a lot of damage done herself.

Stratos looked up and further inspected the creature that he just rammed into, and why it was such a hard collision. This thing wasn't really made of ink. Okay, well it probably was, but it certainly didn't look like it. No, it seemed to have more of a look that it was made of sand with a few rocks sprouting out of it as some kind of armor plating or what have you. He had zero idea that these things actually came in any variety whatsoever, but to be fighting a rock, as the first one didn't seem all that fun to Stratos. Oh who was he kidding, all the bloticles would probably be equally annoying so it was best to just get this out of the way now. Spinning his keyblade in his hand, he got ready to attack the thing, when Kaida seemed to join him in his fight.

Waving to her he said, "oh hey Kaida, haven't seen you in awhile," in an almost completely nonchalant tone. Looking at Billy, which he intuitively knew that was the things name, despite there being nothing to designate it as such, he got himself pumped to fight this thing knowing he had at least one partner to do so with. While he was about to attack the thing again, it seemed to not want to have any of that, as it immediately retaliated at the keyblade wielders. With more rocks coming out of the sandy tentacle, the recently formed rocks then fired like stones thrown at high velocities at the duo. Seeing this coming head on, Stratos didn't really have time to react and dodge it, nor was he fast enough to do so anyway, so instead he just yelled "stop!" With that, the rock was frozen in mid air, not moving an inch.

Stratos then took this time to immediately retaliate as he jumped onto the rock and used it as a stepping stone to jump off again before launching an aqua splash from his keyblade at the bloticle. The four bubbles flew from the blade, crashing into the sandy tentacle and causing damp spots to appear across it. It certainly wasn't critical damage, but at least it was a start.

Beuce had been waiting to be able to hurt these things for a while. Running forward with the other wielders, he took a swipe at a nearby blotling, obliterating it instantly. It showed no sign of regenerating any time soon. "Finally." It felt good to be able to kill these things. Although, Beuce looked on the sheer size of the army and immediately had war flashbacks to the thousand heartless battle. He was hoping this wouldn't be repeated any time soon, but their luck wasn't so amazing as for that to happen. He just hoped he didn't lose any more limbs in the process.

Although, if this was going to be a massive scale reenactment of the battle before, then he was glad of one thing, if nothing else. "Stratos! You look like you could use a hand with that thing!" He called out to the dark haired boy as he sprinted toward Billy. As he approached, the tentacle of ink seemed to slam itself against the ground, causing a massive piece of earth to fly upward from the ground beneath him, propelling the white haired man high into the sky. The dark blue mantle Ananta had given him fluttered above his head as he descended back down, toward the bloticle.

Spellbinder keyblade in hand, he dove for the thing. It looked like it had a hard outer shell, made of earth. Seemed like this one had an earth theme, with how it had been performing so far. No wonder it was called The Ruler of the Ever Shifting Sand. The real question was how he knew that. Plummeting toward the monster, he let his power flow through the keyblade. Clouds began forming in the sky, and a torrential rain began pouring down onto the area. While the rain wasn't enough water to actually wash away any of the ink creatures, it accomplished two things. One, it wet them, and made them more vulnerable to follow up attacks. And two, it made the battle look much cooler. Everything looked cooler in the rain. "Rain down!" Beuce performed the next two actions nigh simultaneously. A massive bolt of lightning struck across the sky, down at his target. It was a flash that would be missed with the blink of an eye, and Beuce rode along side it to match the speed. A red and blue blur was all that could be seen, slicing through the bloticle and chipping away some of the shell. In the same spot, the lightning exploded onto it, creating a massive boom of thunder. He rolled onto the ground, next to Stratos. "An ink tentacle that uses earth. Well, it's not nearly as weird as Shac the Clownmoth." After a slight shiver at the name, the wielder ran back at their foe.

After chipping away the creature's health a little, Stratos couldn't help but think that fighting this with only two people was going to be stupid hard. Thankfully, as he was thinking this, help arrived to take this creature down. Beuce came into the scene and started to do some fancy **** with space rain, and lightning and other such things, as the earth tentacle seemed to be taking a bit more damage. Unfortunately, despite the flashiness of Beuce's attack, ultimately the bloticle still seemed to be healthy enough to continue fighting them. As Beuce made the comment about Shac, Stratos couldn't help crack a smile as he said, "and not nearly as overly terrifying and uh...metal, as Metal Heart MOTH." Though even as he said that, he couldn't help but feel that the power of the bloticle dwarfed that of the standard behemoth, being a much more intimidating creature to deal with. Regardless of that, Straots still seemed to at least have some confidence in him as he said, "well, if we can take down a thousand heartless then-" he then realized that Kaida wasn't actually at that battle before he corrected himself. "Er, rather, if we can take down a huge hoard of demons and laser shooting reptiles, then what's a tentacle or ten to us. Right?" With that, Stratos went on his offensive.

As he started to run through the rain, he charged with his spellbinder keyblade in hand towards Billy. The bloticle seemed to have some awareness of the keyblade wielder and instead of firing off any sort of earth at the young keyblade wielder, it instead lashed out with mini sand tentacles that originated from the main body. Being taken off guard by this attack, Stratos quickly guarded the first of the attacks, blocking the main force behind it but still being pushed back. The second attack then came forth and struck the key right out of the wielder's hand, pushing him back even farther. Well, that was a bit annoying. Adding to the coolness factor of the rain storm, Stratos then took in a deep breath as a barrier of wind seemed to surge around his body, not only causing his hair and clothing to flow in the wind, but also to have the rain effect. Of course this wind effect was caused by the Aerora spell.

Calling his keyblade back to his side, Stratos charged Billy once again, blocking the tentacle lashes once again. Due to the power of Aerora, the brunt of the attacks were being absorbed by the wind barrier, which allowed Stratos to gain some ground against the creature. As it lashed out against him once again, Stratos coated his keyblade in ice as he slashed at the first mini tendril, then proceeded to slash twice more at two more tendrils that struck at him. The Vorpal Blitz had severed the tendrils, causing the bloticle to seem to shake a bit in pain, and Stratos finished the deed off by throwing his keyblade at the creature, using Strike Raid to damage it further.

Raisor watched as the five keybladers made their way to their target while the rest of them stayed behind to deal with the army of ink blots. He certainly never thought he'd ever have to say something like that before, but considering where they were, there could have been stranger phrases. He brought out his keyblade and made his way to the army in front of him. He could see Stratos, Karina, and Beuce fighting in the distance with a giant tentacle, and he figured that'd be a good place to start. As he ran toward it, three blots jumped at him, ready to attack. Raisor swung his keyblade with little effort and great speed, destroying the three blots without any trouble.

As he got in close to the tentacle, he noticed it was covered in an armor of earth. Wonderful, because he really felt like attacking a dense shield like that. He was going to have to complain to someone later if he gets dirt in his shoes just out of principle with this one. Raisor watched his the tentacle swung its arm and threw three giant, boulder-sized rocks at him. Raisor really didn't feel like wasting energy with this thing, but he knew that wasn't going to happen, so he figured it'd be best to try something out. He hadn't really used the spell much at all, but he knew that earth didn't do well in the cold, so he figured it was worth a shot. Firing a blizzard spell at the three incoming rocks, he froze a point on each rock, not very large, but hopefully he had manage to get the cold deep enough into the rock. Taking a leap, he sped toward the boulders, and slammed them with the butt of his keyblade, using the force of his leap as energy. For a second Raisor thought he failed his plan, and was going to be turned into mush, but luckily he heard a cracking sound and the boulder crumbled into pieces. The pieces from the first boulder flew toward the others and destroyed them as well. As luck would have it, those pieces flying the other way flew right into the ink tentacle, damaging it.

"Well, it wasn't what I had in mind, but I'll take it." He lifted his keyblade onto his shoulders in his usual stance and took the opening to get right under the tentacle. Usually creatures with armor plating have weak underbellies, but this one certainly didn't look like it. He took the opening anyways and slashed with all his strength, leaving a nice scar on the creature, albeit a little small, and jumped away out of its attacking range. The good news was: there were nine other creatures just like this one.

After calling his thrown keyblade back to his hand, Stratos gripped the blade tight as he was going to go on the offensive once again. Thankfully, before he went to attack again, someone else joined the fray in the attacks. Someone who he hadn't recognized all too much, but still remembered nonetheless. With it being none other than Raisor, Stratos watched as the icy assault from Raisor seemed to do damage to the creature and caused it to slightly shake in pain. Well, it was always good to have another keyblade wielder he out on the field. Giving a thumbs up to the keyblade wielder to show his appreciation to his effort, Stratos then turned back to face the tentacle.

The large earthen bloticle saw the keyblade wielder's attention focus in on him and so it decided to try kill him once again. Lifting up a large assortment of boulders from the ground, it launched the gathering of rocks at the keyblade wielder quite like it had done so before. Dodge rolling out of the way, he managed to avoid the majority of the attacks, only for a second flurry of boulders to come hurling at him, and so Stratos got put his keyblade up to guard, but got launched back from the force of the attack. Tumbling on the ground, Stratos sprung himself back up off the ground in time to dodge roll out of the way of the assault once again. Seeing that this swarm of rocks wasn't going to end anytime soon, Stratos instead didn't wait around for that and just ran right at the thing.

As the rocks kept being launched at him, Stratos continued to dodge roll out of the way, looking for his opening. Between the hail of rocks, Stratos finally managed to find a window of opportunity in order to attack this thing, and when he did, cherry blossoms started raining from the sky once again. As the rocks from the barrage were closing in on him, Stratos seemed to blink out of the way, appearing on the other side of the bloticle. A large slash mark appeared across the thing, as Stratos landed on the ground and got ready to go for the next round of attacks.

Karina turned to Mortimer when he showed up. Her knuckles turned white around her keyblade as she wanted to cut his head clean off right there and then. After what happened last time she ran into that damn mouse, he wasn't going to get away so easy, or at least she thought. Karina however didn't get the chance to fight the mouse, instead she had a bigger task and she knew that. She was one of five that had to take out the bigger threat, she didn't have time to worry about that arrogant self centered mouse that sat on his high and mighty throne.

Karina turned to take the lead in leaving. It seemed that so far that was what she was good at, getting people moving. That being said it was difficult for her to leave this battle, she waned to help kick that mouses butt. Instead she couldn't so before she left she walked past Stratos, stopping to speak to him quietly. "You better tear that mouses head off for me. I will handle the blot, you get him. Is it a deal?" She asked Stratos before stepping away. For some reason Statos seemed like one of the few she could trust, and after the thousand heartless battle, she knew that he could do what she asked. With that Karina took her leave, no wishing anyone else luck or anything like that.

With Stratos rolling around the attacks that were coming at him, Raisor was beginning to feel a little dizzy. He certainly couldn't remember the last time he felt like that. Though, he couldn't remember the last time he felt much of anything for friends or allies either, so that's saying something alone. Maybe he was finally getting rid of his darker personality, but that still remained to be seen. Either way, he needed to continue this fight.

The tentacle was sliced up by Stratos and his Zantetsuken, and Raisor followed up by going up to the ink creature and thrust his keyblade at the enemy. He thrust so fast that he managed to cause the whole area in front of him look like a crumpled piece of...something? He didn't care either way, it just looked nice and destroyed. The tentacle didn't seem to like that though, because the tip of it dropped down from above and struck Raisor right in the front. He was lucky his keyblade was back for an attack, because just as the attack his the ground, he hit the enemy and bounced himself back just enough to dodge the attack. He was pretty sure he didn't want to think what would have happened if he was still in that spot a second more.

At least with the Bloticle's front end stuck in the ground, Raisor took this opportunity to attack even more. He could see the end trying to squirm its way out of the ground, but Raisor didn't let it. Instead, he swung his keyblade at the end, with enough force that he managed to cut the tip right off. Well, it might have also been because the armor wasn't really thick at the tip, but he didn't care, he still felt good about doing it. The ink tentacle thrashed about a little, like it had just gotten a little papercut. Although it was more akin to taking off a chunk of its body, the thing was so large, Raisor doubted it felt anything either way.

Catching his breath a bit, Stratos couldn't help but fill a little bit of exhilaration as he fight was beginning to pick up back in pace. Despite being far from what one would call strong, even incrediby self deprecating when it comes to his own strength, Stratos felt some odd sense of excitement when faced with this giant horde of enemies. Gripping his keyblade tighter as he heard Karina's words as she left. A smirk crossed his face as he muttered, "of course." Spinning his keyblade, he tossed it in a strike raid fashion at the tentacle as Raisor was beating down on it. After the keyblade somewhat harmlessly bounced off the rock plating that was there, Stratos called the keyblade back to his hands, only to get on the glider version of it and charge straight towards the earthen bloticle.

As the tentacle got back up from the beating it had taken by Raisor, Stratos had planned to just toss the keyblade out and then use some magic on it before gracefully landing and prepping for the next round. This did not go nearly as well as planned, in fact it didn't go at all as planned. As the tentacle noticed the green colored keyblade wielder, it did an attack that was a tad different than most of the other things it had done so far. Rather than spawning rocks or something to fire at the wielder, it instead lurched back with its entire body. What followed was the main body of Billy the Bloticle swinging forward and crashing right into Stratos. Taken completely off guard by this attack, Stratos didn't really react at all in time and was sent flying straight back towards the ground.

Landing back on his feet, the wielder skidded across the ground, tearing it apart as he traveled along. He finally let out a huge sigh of relief as he stopped, thanking his foresight for casting Aerora. If not for the wind barrier, he would almost certainly be in a much different situation with probably two less feet. A bit annoyed by what the bloticle had just done to him, Stratos's heart flared with a white light as he clutched his chest with his hand. As if the light were coalescing into a new form in his hand, Stratos suddenly a small orb of fire in grip now. As the bloticle seemed like it was about to strike him with its body again, Stratos clicked his tongue and threw the orb of fire at the bloticle. As the two collided, the orb exploded into a massive solar flare which pushed the tentacle back momentarily.

Taking the opening Stratos created by stunning the Bloticle, Raisor ran up to the creature and attacked the creature's underside yet again. Raisor ran full speed, leaving a trail of dust behind him and instantly appearing in front of the enemy. He had already used this technique recently with the heartless battle, but right now they needed to beat these guys, and Raisor wasn't holding anything back. He was going to feel sore afterwards, but he'd deal with it then. Having his swinging arm back, Raisor swung his word 180-degrees, slamming into the bloticle. The creature stopped shaking for a moment. Just as soon as that happened, the impact of Raisor's attack was felt, creating a massive impact area, and sending the creature in the opposite direction. The bloticle fell all the way on the ground away from Raisor.

"Oops..." Raisor had completely forgotten Stratos was on that side and attacked full force. "Hey Stratos! You okay over there!?"

Raisor didn't get much chance to wait for an answer. The tentacle began twitching again and somehow while being flat on the ground swung itself all the way around and threw its body against Raisor. With no time to evade, Raisor put up his guard and braced for impact. The impact was certainly powerful, that was for sure. The moment the tentacle hit him, it was like a giant two-ton building came at him; at the very least, that's what he would label it being felt as. Raisor was sent flying with incredible force across the ground, leaving a crater trail behind him.

As Raisor got up, his vision was blurry and he had dirt all over. He looked around and noticed he was probably sent a good ten meters away, leaving a trail that showed it. Now he knew what meteroids felt like when they hit the ground.

After Stratos had finished using Trip Around the Sun, it seemed that Raisor had taken the knockback provided by the attack as a golden opportunity to attack the creature. The bloticle seemed to be taking a beating from the other keyblade wielder, and everything was all fine and dandy. Unfortunately, Raisor's attacks worked to well, and it took Stratos a second to realize that Billy was falling backward, towards him. "Oh god." Stratos muttered at the sight of impending doom. However, rather than just stopping and staring, feeling like he was moving but going nowhere, Stratos actually started moving. As started running away from the creature, he started just repeatedly shouting, "bad day, bad day, bad day." Fortunately, he had managed to avoid the tentacle falling on him. Unfortunately, the shock wave generated from the fall had knocked Stratos off his feet, and caused him to face plant into the ground.

Picking himself up, he shook himself off and watched as the tentacle whipped forwards toward Raisor. Wincing from just seeing the impact of the hit, Stratos watched as Raisor became a meteorite that crash landed, and couldn't help but think that probably hurt a good deal. Walking a bit closer, Stratos used a really long range cure spell, followed up by casting an Aerora on Raisor to make sure that he didn't suffer the same kind of damage in one hit again. He then turned his attention back to the tentacle, which in turn turned its attention back to him. The tentacle seemed to become fully vertical, as if pointing to the sky, and had immediately caused the earth around it raise. It then swung in Stratos's direction, causing the wall of earth to fly towards the young boy.

Getting onto his keyglider, Stratos shot into the sky, completely avoiding the earth toss. This was then followed up with a giant hail of earth being flung at him, trying to pelt him out of the sky. Trying to maneuver his best, even while taking a few rocks to the body, Stratos managed to keep his balance, and then shot towards the large bloticle. Flying as fast as he could, Stratos dodged the flying earth that was aimed at him, and eventually got off his keyglider as imbued his keyblade with ice and struck with a Vorpal Blitz at the creature. After hitting it thrice, he then was going to follow it up with a big spell...only to realize he no longer had any mp to use. Billy was not at all amused as it lashed out with sand tendrils from the main body that struck Stratos and had him fly towards the ground. At the very least, he landed on a blotling to cushion the blow, and kill the extremely small and inconsequential creature.

Raisor picked himself off the ground and used his keyblade as support, trying to keep from falling over. After getting up he noticed a cure spell used on him and then a gust of wind surrounded him. He figured someone had seen him get tossed around and was grateful for the help. From how far away he was, he noticed the creature still thrashing about, attacking someone in front of him. He figured it was probably Stratos, and needed to get back over there giving him a helping hand.

Raisor stumbled out of the hole he was in and started running down the path he had created. Getting closer, he watched as Stratos was flung from an attack and squished an ink blot while hitting the ground. At least something good came out of their bad luck. Getting ready for another attack, Raisor began runnind top speed at the Bloticle.

He should have figured it wasn't going to be a fun marathon, because the tentacle noticed him, and started throwing earth spears at him. Rocks were bad enough, but stalactites? Come on, those things could make shish-kabob out of him. Raisor ducked and weaved around the attacks, and the blot began raising the earth. Raisor kept running as the earth came crashing down, and a giant wave began riding right toward him. He took a leap just as the attack got near him and managed to dodge it, with the blot right in range of an attack. Raisor started firing blizzard spells at the creature. They were weak, sure, but maybe they would help like they did against the giant boulders earlier.

The blizzard spells hit the ink tentacle and Raisor followed up by plunging right at the creature. With his speed he managed to stick his keyblade right into the enemy, leaving a nice hole where he attacked. Unfortunately, before he could get off safely, the Bloticle started thrashing every which way. Raisor plunged his keyblade back into the creature, getting a grip and keeping himself from being turned in Raisor Meteorite 2.0.

Stratos picked himself off the ground and dusted himself off once again. It was bad enough that he kept getting beaten down by this tentacle, but the thing didn't even look like it was close to being half dead yet. Well, getting down about that wasn't going to get him anywhere at the moment, so he just decided to wait for an opening as Raisor had continued his onslaught on the tentacle. After using what appeared to just be a swarm of blizzard attacks, Stratos couldn't help but crack a smile at the fact that he was just kind of stuck on the tentacle and probably couldn't get off. While amusing to look at, Stratos quickly got back into serious mode as he understood that the position that Raisor was in could turn really deadly really fast. And so, getting on his keyglider, the young boy shot off towards the bloticle and got ready to deal with it as soon as he was able.

The earthen blot monster seemed to not really pay him any mind until Stratos got within melee range of the thing. Presumably this was because it was just because it was busy dealing with Raisor, to notice Stratos until he became an imminent threat. The creature lashed out with its sand tendrils again, however, Stratos was prepared for this as he basically tossed his keyglider out from under his feet to strike the tendrils and repel them pretty handily. As the blade glider came back to him, the bloticle began fire spikes of rock at Stratos, which he wasn't exactly expecting from it. While for the most part they were pretty inaccurate at the close range, one struck his keyglider causing it to go out from underneath him, which then caused Stratos to fall to the ground.

As he began his descent, the bloticle created more spikes and shot them at the now free falling Stratos. In order to avoid the attack, Stratos called his keyblade back to his hand and everything just seemed to freeze for a split second. Within that moment, Stratos had blinked across the tentacle again, slashing through it with Zantetsuken once more and getting to safety. As he was now near the other of his allies, Stratos formed the keyglider underneath him and flew in close enough for Raisor to get on. "Need a lift?"
