Stratos had managed to get far away from the heartless that were mobbing on him. Sure, it wasn't too difficult given the speed of his essentially rocket speed flying board, but still, the more distance between them and him, the more breathing room he was allowed. Especially given his mortal enemy of a heartless who was around at this point. Stratos had no idea what Derpy the Derpmoth's deal was. Sure, behemoths seemed to love to kick him, but that was literally the only thing this heartless seemed able to do to him. In fact, that seemed to be only the motion it was capable of at all. He couldn't recall a single time when kicking wasn't what it did, and he couldn't recall a single moment where the heartless had moved from point A to point B in a visible manner- speak of the devil. The behemoth heartless in question had appeared out of seemingly nowhere, to the right of Stratos. However, he saw what was coming and was able to respond properly to it. Quickly turning, he had managed to swivel his board around so that he would be able to dodge any incoming attack with ease. As the thruster ignited and was about to shoot forward, something really weird happened.

That same, creepy and possibly demonic, purple light that had encased the entirety of the hall of records thus far started to shimmer around him once more. As this happened, he stopped. Just literally stopped. As if he were frozen in time and couldn't respond to anything whatsoever. When the light faded from him, he was suddenly sent hurtling across the room and felt a strong impact hit him directly. He had no idea what the hell had happened, but he was starting to assume this purple light was not exactly the friendliest of things. As he was sailing through the air, uncontrollably, he saw Derpy the Derpmoth appear once more. As it was rearing back its leg, it was about to go in for the killer kick once more, only for Stratos to actually try and react this time. Stabilizing his keyglider, he quickly towards the behemoth, and passed by it, causing the kick to miss. As he was passing, he summoned the keyblade back to his hands and triggered Vorpal Blitz. Due to the nature of commands, the attack forced his body out of any momentum it may have had, and instead caused him to preform a combo of attacks against the behemoth. With that done, he let loose another air combo, in which he ended on Derpy's back, allowing him to follow up with one of his four hit ground combos; Feeling as though he'd done enough for now, he quickly got back onto his keyglider and flew off of Derpy before it could magic him off its back again.

Having done that, he then was able to go back on the hunt for more things to piss off. And so with that mindset intact, he saw some assault riders and armored knights that still weren't trying to murder him. Deciding that there was a good need for a change with that, he flew in and preformed his strike raid-esque attack on one of the assault riders. With that, he then crashed into two of the armored knights and had them start chasing him around as well. Realizing the situation he was in now, he quickly cast cure on himself in order to recover from the random ass hit from the behemoth. Flying away from the scene, Stratos quickly turned back, just to see the large horde of armored knights and assault riders chasing behind him, and questioned some of his life decisions.

Steel stared at the events that went on around him. Two of the more noticeable things that had caught his attention were Karina's "dance off," and the admittedly tragic death of Paul the shadow. Well... it was a tragic comedy at least. It would have been better if they had first fully established Paul as a character, and then make it so that his sacrifice was for some noble cause instead of completely pointless... but that was just his opinion. He shook his head with a smirk and looked to his left, where an Air Pirate (realistically and originally labeled Steve; which was totally his real name) mirrored his actions. They both nodded to each other before looking back at the chaos that was going on throughout the library.

After a brief pause Steve suddenly seemed register what had happened and turned to look back at Steel... only to find sharp metal claws embedded in his chest. Steve convulsed as a searing wave of pain enveloped him. He could do not but stare dumbfounded at the man he had once called friend... "Uh, helloooo?" Steel exclaimed to Steve's face and causing him to snap back to reality... where there was no pain... just a sharp metal clawed gauntlet embedded in his torso. At this, Steve began to address Steel. "Why Steel? WHY?" The Air Pirate chirped and clicked in the heartless tongue. "How could you betray me lik-" He was cut off quite suddenly as Steel just rolled his eyes and snapped out a question of his own. "You do remember what happens to a persons' heart when their heartless is destroyed, right?" The Air Pirate looked confused for a moment before a look of realization dawned upon his face.

"Uh, yeah." Steel drawled with a look on his face that quite clearly read 'duh!' He looked back to the battle with just a tiny bit of regret though. Steve couldn't quite tell what was wrong until Steel decided to make it obvious. "I'm still gonna be using you as a weapon though..." Steve paled and squeaked a simple "Oh Joy" as Steel rushed back into the fight, slamming the skull of the Air Pirate on his arm with that of another before summoning his umbrella and running both of them through. He ran towards the nearby injured Behemoth, as all of the happenings with the cleverly dubbed "Derpy the Derpmoth" were kinda making him one kill something of that breed. He was nearly intercepted by a third Air Pirate, but it was merely added to his skewer as he raced to the Behemoths head.

With two quick movements he bashed the two of the Air Pirates against the horn, promptly ending them. Steve however was removed from the umbrella however, and was instead transferred back to Steels arm. With a slight squeeze of the dark energy inside of him, Steve was inclined to react by punching at the Behemoth horn that now stood in front of him before Steel used a quick spin strike to dispatch Steve and deal a last bit of damage to the Behemoth. The creature proceeded to fall forwards to the ground, and Steel jumped off as it crashed against the ground behind him; landing with a dramatic flutter of his cape. He rose slowly with a dark look in his eye. "Rest in peace Steve... You go on... to a better place..."

Next to him, Cheshire just stared with a blank face for a moment. After a brief silence he made his opinion of the subject known. "The HECK... was THAT!?" Steel merely shrugged back at his feline companion. "I just thought I'd stay on the same page as everyone else."

Stratos was now skating around the entire arena that was the Hall of Records, zig zagging every which way on his keyglider. Why zig zaggs? Why it was because that way he could cause the heartless to have more confusion in their pursuit, and it would definitely slow them down, allowing Karina to quickly catch up and attack the heartless once more. This plan was still a terrible one, and one that he was surprised had lasted this long, given the fact that there was a single heartless within this entire group that seemed to have absolutely no presence whatsoever. It never chased after him. He never saw it before it was too late. Sure he had the ability to react, but, the heartless, it was always there. If it wanted to, it could probably be a pro basketball player. And then, it would be able to go and play in a long ass tournament, and then that tournament would go to a final game. And then, it would last for eight god damn months only for it to score pass the ball to its best friend and polar opposite of the team, Tiger the Hopsmoth, and finally end it. Wait where the hell did that rant come from?

Point was, as long as Derpy the Derpmoth was around, no matter what Stratos did, no matter how he moved, and no matter where he went, that behemoth would kick him straight back into the action once more. As such, he was constantly vigilant, wishing he had some sort of eagle or hawk eye power in order to detect the heartless enemy, however no such power existed for him. To further cement this, he suddenly saw a shadow be cast upon himself. Well ****, this was definitely not good. Looking behind him, he then realized where the shadow was coming from. Due to the behemoth not being behind him, he quickly swerved his keyglider around and fired up the thrusters, boosting away from the kick that belonged to aforementioned behemoth. Since it wasn't behind him, he knew it was above him, and looked up as it seemed to fall to the ground, albeit, looking as if the body wasn't any making sort of natural movement. He then started to wonder how the hell behemoth was able to get the drop on him if it never moved, and since he was moving at a pretty fast rate, how it still managed to stay above him.

Sensible thinking aside, he started to turn the keyglider around, and shot forward towards the opponent that was Derpy the Derpmoth. Starting up the assault, he quickly used the strike raid-esque attack of his to hit the horn of the behemoth, only to quickly warp it back to his hand in blade form, and then quickly locked onto its horn with a spell. With his keyblade tip igniting, he pointed it at the horn of the heartless and fired off a fire spell. With it, the ball homed into the horn and hit it dead on. Once the explosion had faded from the attack, Stratos followed up with a vorpal blitz that basically pulled his body unnaturally fast to hitting the horn, and then finishing it off with a three hit combo of his. Once that was over and done with, he quickly switched over to getting back on his keyglider and flying as far away as possible on it, in as short amount of time as possible. As soon as he had done that, he quickly went to hunt down more heartless to aggro, and flew over to two lone armored knights. He quickly hit them with a strike raid-esque attack, and then flew off to parts unknown...or basically the TARDIS sized library.

They defeated the Hook Bats and the Rapid Thrusters like clockwork, and Kross was glad of that, the small fries were easy but they could be troublesome in greater numbers. Now the issue was the tougher opponents and he had a good number of choices. Those Air Pirates had been giving the two the most trouble and he still owed them for hurting Ananta. Speaking of which, her jumping on him made him land on his behind. He stared at her curiously."Ananta..?"He murmured, but as she got up, he did too and apologized to him, but for what? He sighed."Don't worry about it." He said smiling. He then watched her go and fight the heartless, right..time to put that brain of his to work too. Putting Master Yen Sid's teachings into practice in the battle field was easier said than done but what other choice did he have? He breathed in, closing his eyes. Think think think..What could he do to trap them again? He opened his eyes, time to move. He gripped his keyblade and charged. Two Air Pirates caught on to his charging and went after him. Perfect, all according to plan. He was nimble and quick, and they were fast, which was perfect. He then suddenly ducked, the two pursuing him looked at each other questioningly before seeing what he was ducking from. Two more Air Pirates were in their way and they crashed into each other, falling into a heap. Kross skidded to the side and then charged, taking out each Air Pirate, releasing their hearts.

Karina was getting all the more frustrated with every heartless that Stratos aggroed. She was having trouble keeping up destroying them. She would have liked to kill all the heartless before more were aggroed, save for Derpy the Derpmoth, She wanted to take out the armored knights and assault riders first, but it would have been better if they where not previously aggroed and constantly running from her. Stratos idea was for her to chase them down and tackle them to the ground in order for her get a chance to fight them at all. It was a pain in the butt that was what it was. Karina was just getting ever more annoyed at everything and everyone as her thoughts became more dark and she found more things to annoy her for no other reason then she was just pissy like that.

It was time for Karina to to bs her way though another battle using cheap tactics against heartless that could use even more cheap tactics when they felt like being dicks. This was getting tedious now. Well not just now it always had been but these thoughts were used for mostly filler for the battle because she needed more words in the post to get stronger. Also she needed to save Stratos butt in case I have not reinterated that enough yet because it needs to be apparently. Anyways it is time to go back to the actual battle post thing cause that is supposed to happen at some point and 6 heartless will die in it... oops spoilers.

Karina rushed forward after the internal monologue type thing finished. She started by going after the heartless that she nearly took out last time but wasn't able to by very little because that was a piss off and unfair. Her teeth where clenched as she cast magnify on herself and attacked the heartless, because she totally needed the extra power to kill it with the minimal health it had. Now it was time for some of the other ones that where aggroed by the brilliant fabulous genius.... okay none of that Stratos.

A strike raid took out one heartless, then post filler, then she used a barrier surge to take out another. That was armored knight one and four killed. Now that she was started she ain't going to stop because she was not afraid of the storm that came her way. She is gonna turn it up till it gets to hot. And what she meant by that was she was going to use a fire strike on another heartless. Karina jumped up in the air. "When it hit's it will knock you to the ground." She sang out before coming down between two heartless in a aerial slam causing a tremor to rumble through the floor knocking the heartless to the ground. "Survival is a must so Stratos will you stand with us?" Karina then picked the two heartless up and smashed their heads into each other. She then turned and finished them off by stabbing both of the. Bye bye two and three. That just left six and seven. They would be easy because she was bored and didn't feel like being all epic in killing them. All Karina did was walk up to six and stab it before walking to seven and using a barrier surge on it. It was quick easy and got the job done.

But wait Karina was not done yet, not if Derpy the Derpmoth had anything to say about it. It seemed to her that he didn't like her song references. Appearing behind her, he kicked her across the room. Karina hopped on her keyblade and raced towards the behemoth who was soon gone again and reappeared behind her. "Not this time." She said as she leaped up above Derpy and landed on it's head punching him dealing an entire three damage. Suddenly the solid mass beneath her disappeared and reappeared behind her, kicking her across the room once again. "Ow. What the hell." She groaned. See this was exactly what she was talking about by cheap battle tactics when the heartless wanted to be dicks.

Stratos had continued his flight of the valkyries- er, his grand escape from the heartless. As he continued to board/fly through the air, he managed to keep distance between him and the heartless, through some miraculous feat of common sense. I mean, if he was on his keyglider then why wouldn't he be able to just outmaneuver his way away from them. However, he saw that Karina was getting pretty pissy about the whole ordeal, of her having to catch up with all the heartless, and so he slammed his keyglider down onto the ground, having the tail end of the keyglider skid across the ground, kick up sparks as it continued along its course. Of course, this slowed him down tremendously, which made the heartless catch up with him faster, which reduced the distance between Karina and the heartless. See Stratos was a considerate and slightly suicidal team mate. Just a wee bit. Anyway, he kept this up and instead of continuing moving in a straight line or zig zagg fashion, he was now moving in a circle in order to keep the heartless at (Michael) Bay. Now all that needed to happen was his keyblade to turn into a giant fighting robot and the hall of records to start exploding. Well they already had the explosions down.

Anyway, the plan seemed to be working, as Karina seemed to be able to pummel all the heartless, while making various references that he didn't quite get but could still register as references, and he was fairly good at keeping the heartless pissed off at him. The plan couldn't be working better, that was, until a certain intrusive behemoth had decided it would start to invoke the rules of SOS that had been created solely to counter Beuce. Punishing Karina for her references, it simply kicked at her, and sent her flying across the room. However, while the intention of malice and hatred was clear, if one were to look at the behemoth's expression, one would see nothing but a blank and vacant stare. One that could pierce the souls of all that fell under its gaze. Stratos then realized with Karina no longer near him, he didn't need to slow down for her to keep easier pace with the heartless. However, even more importantly, he had to keep these heartless's attention on him so as for them to not be pulled towards Karina.

As such, Stratos began to fly once more on his keyglider and did various actions which made his opponents only able to auto attack him and walk towards him. As they did this, Stratos felt the plan working as he quickly casted (not to be confused with twin/double casting,) Aero and Cure on Karina to help her out once more. With that done with, Stratos realized that his attention had shifted away from Derpy the Derpmoth, and it was now only a matter of time before it was upon him once more. As Stratos saw the behemoth out of the corner of his eye, he prepped up a blizzard spell, only to wonder where he even got the frozen water for this spell from (since usually one got that from like, a faucet.) Anyway, the blizzard fizzled out because the keyblade wielder realized he didn't have enough mp to cast it, and then received the kick from the behemoth, sending him hurtling across the room. However, as he stabilized himself in the air, he saw the behemoth now appearing in front of him once more, only to not be able to do anything to react. Suddenly, everything had changed.

Now then, the purple light that had been enveloping him this entire time, and that one time it created a guillotine blade, enveloped him once more. As such, Stratos suddenly realized that he was about to be screwed, because he had been by just about every other time that this had happened. Not to mention it felt like some sort of satanic ethereal energy that just sort of only had misfortune associated with and all. However, this time, things felt different. Rather than him slowing down (read, stopping and being frozen in time,) the exact opposite seemed to happen this time. The world around him seemed to slow down. It was like he was in a constant state of Zantetsuken, only now he was consciously aware of what he was doing rather than just having his body mindlessly preform some attack. And so he started moving around in this acceled time state. He was able to zip across the hall of records faster than Derpy would be able to kick him. It was then that he looked around and then noticed something. There it was, Derpy the Derpmoth. And he was able to keep his eye on him this time, because he had figured out the truth to Derpy's movements.

It turns out the behemoth was just moving stupid fast this entire time, go figure. However, there was still the matter of the fact that it didn't actually seem to be moving, per se, and that it was more sliding with its body just not changing ever. So that was still weird. However, knowing that he had the advantage now, Stratos shot at the heartless at full speed, making him appear as less than a blur to those who were just onlooking on the fight. He then proceeded to use his strike raid type move on the Heartless, and then followed it up in a different way. This time, rather than just going into a combo, Stratos instead just threw a god damn mini sun at it. When the attack made contact, he then proceeded to go all out into his air combo assault, followed by a vorpal blitz, followed by an air combo into a finally finishing it with Zantetsuken. When all that was over and done with, time seemed to return to normal, and Stratos was no longer able to keep pace with his behemoth foe. As such, he soon got the boot and was sent flying across the room.

With all her wounds healed up, Ananta did a quick jog in place to get herself ready to fight some more heartless. "Well, all the tiny ones are gone now, so that just leaves the bigger ones..." she talked out loud. Looking around, she saw what was left to fight. "So we've got some wyvern things flying about...I already fought one and it hurt a lot. Those talons are a pain. Then there are the demon ones that have wings and...turban things on their heads? Sort of look like pirates to me. Tons of those flying about." she started to list off what she saw. "Then we got the huge things that I'll just call behemoths..." she said, gulping and staring at the Behemoth that they had all attacked at some point. It was injured pretty badly, but not too bad for it to be crippled. Ananta remembered she saw Steel attacking it's horn, so she made a note of it. "Behemoth's look like their weak spots are on their heads. That horn, is their weak spot." she spoke on, talking with nobody in particular. "Other than those things, we've got some heartless with punching gloves and one that has weird squiggles for wings and a helmet on it's head." she nodded.

Ananta crossed her arms, pondering what she should fight next. Soaring behind, a Wyvern was swooping down and readying it's talons. It stretched forward and grasped Ananta by her legs. Flipping upside down, Ananta looked at the heartless carrying her around. Flicking her braids out of her face, she summoned her keyblade and began to swing slightly. The Wyvern didn't seem too affected by her swinging, so she managed to swing up enough to grab her hand on a talon. With her right hand gripping the leg, her left hand swung her keyblade and hit the Wyvern's legs. It's grip loosened on her legs and eventually she felt her legs drop below her. The Wyvern tilted a little, as if it were about to fall, but it regained it's composure. Letting her keyblade go, it disappeared as she reached up and moved to the back of the Wyvern.

Ananta rode the heartless until they were close to the Behemoth. As they approached, she stabbed the wing of the heartless and watched as it began to fall, heading for the Behemoth's back. Gripping the Wyvern, Ananta fell with it and watched as it skid down the spine of the Behemoth. The Wyvern finally stopped and slumped over on the back of the Behemoth. Ananta climbed off and looked at the heartless. "I know you're not dead, you haven't disappeared yet. What, are you knocked out or something?" she said, kicking the heartless. It stirred, sitting up and trying to flap away. As it did, Ananta watched it try and get away, but it's wing was far too injured for it to fly anymore. "Pitiful thing, I'd better just end it now, huh?" she said, stepping towards it. Once she was close enough, Ananta beat the heartless until it disappeared and left only a heart.

Swinging her keyblade up and resting it on her shoulder, Ananta looked down and noticed she wasn't on the ground or a ledge. She was on top of the Behemoth! "Well, I wanted to get up here anyway, thanks heartless dude." she said to the heart that was now disappearing. Making her way to the Behemoth's head, Ananta looked around the area and saw everyone fighting. "We're all just gonna pass out after this battle, I bet." she sighed, looking at the glowing horn in front of her. "Regardless, while I'm here, better hit this...thing." she said, swinging her keyblade at the Behemoth's horn.

As Stratos continued to sail across the room from the kick of the behemoth, he came to a sudden realization. It seemed that it was indeed true, that the man who practiced a single kick ten thousand times was a terrifying force. Especially if they move at like, apparently mach three. He also came to a realization about what was going to happen when he landed. The only place that Derpy had kicked him to thus far into more trouble. It didn't seem actually interested in killing him with its kicks, because it definitely do so with extreme ease. No, it just seemed to want to give him a hard time. Anyway, Stratos ended getting sent straight into another undamaged assault rider, only for that heartless to flex its abs, just like all of the others, and deflect it with nothing more than his body. Of course that damaged it too, but Stratos was then sent back into his horde that he had had aggroed this entire damn time. This was truly one of the shitiest situations a person could ask for.

While he was lying down on the ground, he quickly curled up into a ball and had his palms flat on the ground. Next, he pushed off of his hands and then went flying straight through the mob. So much so that he managed to hit a total uninjured armored knight who seemed to just get into this crowd because it was band waggoning. Remember kids, if everyone else is doing it, that doesn't mean you should too. You'll never know when a keyblade wielder might just kick you in the face for it. Anyway, now that he was standing back up on his feet, Stratos quickly got his keyblade out and realized that he was still in the crowd of heartless. Well that was a problem. It was then that he realized just how bad this was, as now there were assault riders in addition to the armored knights from before. Granted, the sheer volume was less this time, due to Karina managing to kill a boat load thus far, but still, it was not a place someone normally wanted to be in. As an armored knight advanced on him, he quickly parried away the first strike from it, followed up by parrying the various other armored knight heartless attacks, one after the other. It was then that the assault riders joined in on this beatdown and started trying to spear at him, swiping at him with it. He quickly hi jumped over one assault riders spear attack, just to hold his keyblade up into the air and guard against a stab coming from another assault rider. When the blow had connected, Stratos was knocked the air a bit, and hey, he ended up landing outside the mob due to this. Well that was lucky.

In order to keep the aggro on him without him having to avoid damage at every given moment, Stratos quickly got back on his keyglider and started to fly away. It was then that the inevitable had come to pass once more. As he was flying away, out of the corner of his eye he suddenly saw his foe appear before him once more, and try to kick at him with extreme ferocity, or just the same head in the clouds attitude it had had thus far. Stratos quickly jumped off of his keyglider, over the foot, causing only the glider to be smacked away. He then drew his keyblade back to his hands, and then went to preform an air combo on the heartless's horn, followed up with ending it with an improvised fire strike, combining the fire spell and just a regular attack. With that, the behemoth was injured and Stratos could go back to his daily activities of running the hell away from everything.

Five armored knights remained aggroed onto Stratos, Karina could handle that, there was only five, all injured after all. Maybe eventually she would get somewhere with lowering the aggroed amount of heartless on Stratos before he aggroed more. Or that was the theory. She would have been further ahead if he had not been doing as much as he was before anyone else could do a damn thing, hording all the experience that they got from this battle to himself even though he wasn't doing a damn thing to kill all the little heartless. He was just aggroing all the heartless and getting experience for it, how the hell did that work. Karina was the one that had to follow behind killing everything and actually fighting, not just get kicked into things and then say he actually did something and get stronger from it. This entire battle was screwed up and a lot longer then it should be. How long would it take for a couple people to fix that portal thing? At this rate they would have to kill everything before the portal worked. Sure Karina had originally planned to stay and fight herself anyways but she was planning on doing a bunch of off screen fighting and then just see if she survived, but if it was just her probably not. This kind of fight was not what she had in mind. Plus it didn't help that Adan and Base were literally just standing their not doing a damn thing to help.

Karina let out a huge sigh as she ran after an armored knight with no ambition at all. Why was she doing this? She really didn't want to do this anymore, but she had to, and thus her attacks lacked motivation and enthusiasm. She was getting tire, physically and emotionally, but she couldn't take a break, none of them could, unless they wanted to die. Although at this rate that thought was almost sounding pleasant. But the reason she was doing this was not for her own life, it was for the lives of those around her. Karina couldn't stand the thought of their blood being on her hands, she was not going to be the cause of peoples deaths, nor would she sit around and watch anyone die. She had showed that after the Aux fight, forcing herself to her feet just barely to try to protect or help Hikaru, though to no avail.

"This is for everyone Aux hurt, for every innocent girl they kidnapped. He is the cause of this mess, why can't I be fighting him? Guess his heartless lackeys are the next best thing." Karina's voice was in a low almost growl as she attacked the first armored knight taking it out swiftly. The next one proved to be no more of a problem then the first, and though Karina didn't have her original flair she had before her breakdown she still maintained her strength and could keep going with the fighting. Three four and five did not take much effort either. All of the remaining armored knights that where aggroed onto Stratos had been taken out simply with a variation of different basic attacks and combo's. Karina was not up to doing anything fancy. She just wanted to get the job done.

Now that those where dealt with Karina... oh are you kidding me. Out of no where Derpy the Derpmoth appeared behind Karina once again kicking her. Man was she ever thankful for the Aero that Stratos cast on her now. Hopping on her keyblade glider, Karina prepared for an attack. She stood backwards on her glider so it it came up behind her she would just push off her glider and let it hit the Behemoth, but if it appeared behind the glider then she would go after it with her bare hands. With her strength that wasn't that difficult. Despite all her planning Derpy decided to screw it over and come up beside her kicking her, but she still managed to jump from the glider and grab onto its horn. She then swung herself so she stood on it's head. Karina then proceeded to make a series of punches down at it until it disappeared once again but this time to go back after Stratos, leaving her be. She had not pissed it off nearly as much as he had.

Stratos was now going to get back to whoring experience, after having laid down the smack on that good old Derpy the Derpmoth. That guy disappeared from his sight and went onto to do bigger and better things...like flying away from heartless. Man, this was a tedious job, just moving around and easily avoiding the heartless. He was actually kind of glad Derpy the Derpmoth was around right now, added some flare to the fight. Also gave more to put into a post since Derpy kicks equaled about one hundred more words which was always a good thing. Anyway, before Stratos could start to take off, he saw the heartless fast approaching him, in all of their different speed ways. The armored knights were actually pretty slow, but the centaur like assault riders, now those guys they were quick as (grease) lightning. It also helped that the armored knights were getting their shit kicked in by the ever so stronger than an ox (not to be confused with an Aux) Karina, laying waste to them with various attacks and references. Minuses the references this time. And so all Stratos had to do was guard against the assault riders right now.

With the few that were chasing him galloping at him at full speed, Stratos quickly dodge rolled out of the first one just stabbing forward at him, and followed by the second leaping at him and trying to do a sweeping attack when it came back down. Stratos quickly raised up his keyblade to guard against the ever deadly strike, bouncing the spear blade away and being totally fine in the process. The third and final of the assault riders that he had aggroed thus far came in to attack him. Gripping the spear with both hands, he brought it down in a large overhead swing, almost as if it was being used as a halberd. It was easy to dodge this attack, simply by dodge rolling to the side, but then the assault rider moved in a circle, sweeping his halberd spear thing around in a circle. Stratos quickly got his balance back, and then quickly high jumped over the blade. He quickly brought his keyblade to attack the heartless at once with a single strike. Why a single strike? Because staying in for a full four hit combo would do nothing but get himself killed at the hands of the assault riders. As he got away from that mob of heartless, he then saw something really weird. And by weird he meant terrifying. Turns out all the other of the group were no longer waiting to get hit to be aggroed. They just were. He saw before him all of the other assault riders and armored knights. Just waiting for him, ready to kill him. He quickly ran up to an armored knight and whacked it, solely so he could do a single point of damage before flying away on his keyglider like a witch on a broom.

Of course, because Karina had said that Derpy was now coming after him, it had appeared before him, and thus Stratos had to quickly guard against the kick that followed its appearance. As he was kicked out of the sky, he continued to sail across the room, only to suddenly break all momentum as his body became locked into an attack. With cherry blossoms falling from the sky, Stratos suddenly seemed to dart straight through Derpy the Derpmoth, preforming Zantetsuken with his keyglider once more and dealing massive amounts of damage because of it. No idea why it's that much stronger, it just is. And so with that done, he flew away to keep the angry mob on his tail once more.

More heartless where aggroed. Of course they where. Why in the world would they leave them alone? It would be far to convenient to just let her kill what needs to be killed then go back to the smaller guys. Right now Derpy the Derpmoth needed to die because he was being fricken annoying. The way he did it was unfair and cheap and Karina hated it and wanted to put an end to that stupid behemoth before it caused more pain. The damn thing some how teleported around kicking them around constantly with a vacant stare in it's eyes the entire time. Was the thing possessed by a demon or something? Nothing made sense anymore and Karina didn't know how much more of this she could take. If she could she would murder everything.

With all the anger and sadness Karina could not contain it any more. She burst into yellow flames and her hair stood up straight up on end as she let out a loud scream sending tremors through the entire area. Her attack got stronger and she got faster chasing after each of the heartless. An assault rider was her first victim. Karina took it out like it was nothing more then a shadow. Too bad she didn't get to fight any of the shadows in this fight because it would have been easier then some of the things that they had to face. There was nothing that was only one bp in there group and it sucked. Karina then jumped on an armored knight ripping it's head from it's body quickly ending it's life.

However this is where it all ended for Karina, her body and mind couldn't take it any more. She fell to the ground in a messy heap of tears and blood. "I'm sorry... I am so sorry. I can't do this... every one's blood will be on my hands because I am so damn weak and stupid. What is wrong with me?" Karina sobbed letting some of the heartless attack her and slowly start to kill her, but slow was definitely the right word to use since aero was blocking half the damage. that the heartless where doing. "Just kill me now..." She said seemingly giving up on life, not caring anymore what happened to her. Stratos would have to finish the battle on his own, which was unfair but Karina didn't know how she would carry on with it in her condition. Finally Aero broke and Karina was vulnerable for the heartless to kill. Two or three more aggroed onto her at this time. She was slowly fading, and in pain as the heartless tried to finish her off. But suddenly the hits stopped and Karina was in mid air. Damn Marahute used it's last save on her for some reason. Karina didn't deserve that and was hoping Stratos would use it not her, she could just die. Marahute dropped her off somewhere away from the heartless before leaving, seeing her job was complete.

Karina quickly collapsed to the ground again still crying, this time instead of small heartless attacking her Derpy appeared getting ready to kick. She interrupted it's kick however, grabbing it's toe as yellow flames and tremors filled the area again. Karina picked up the behemoth and threw it across the room knocking it into another assault rider. "Not now dick!" She screamed out at the behemoth. She was ready to let heartless kill her but not that one, that one was a dick and wasn't deserving of taking Karina's life. Any heartless but that heartless could.

Okay, so Stratos was now flying through the air once more, trying to aggro more and more heartless. And by aggro more heartless he meant deal with the ones that were already aggroed onto him. Dealing with them first was going to be the thing that was next on his agenda. That and the heartless behemoth that was just moving at hyper sonic speed and kicking both him, and now Karina as well, around the entire room. Like, what actually was this thing? What kind of behemoth was it that it was able to move at speeds so fast that he could only perceive it when he was under the affects of the weird purple satanic limit light and only when it allowed him to move at speeds that could not be matched. Regardless, he still flew on his keyglider straight to the other heartless and then immediately stopped right in front of the group, coming to a hard break, skidding across the ground. He then quickly swiveled back and fired off his thruster, boosting away from the group. It was then that he saw something Karina do something really strange. She basically exploded into a golden flame like thing and her hair just became gold and what the hell was even going on?

It was then that she ripped an armored knight heartless in half or crushed it skull in or something, and then suddenly broke into another god damn depression emotional breakdown thing. Like, he didn't even understand why she was depressed this time. It just came out of nowhere...wait it came out of nowhere again. Jeez, what was this girl's problem? It was then that she just gave up fighting altogether and was about to be killed by literally all the heartless that should have been following him. He also had not enough time to go in and save her, neither the bp to kill all the heartless. As she was about to get the final blow delivered to her, it was then that a giant eagle, the same one that had been saving her this entire time. Granted this was the first time it was completely her fault, but hey, no one is perfect. As the bird saved her, he was then greeted with the foot of his fated rival. Not the Zip Slasher, no. It was Derpy the Derpmoth. The behemoth had appeared out of left field, out of the blue, whatever you want to say, had appeared and kicked at him once more.

He then used his keyglider to guard against the kick, only to be sent sailing through the air once more. Stabilizing himself, he had the shadow cast over him once more, and him to instictively jump off his keyglider. As he flipped over the kick that came at him, he then recalled his keyblade and started up and air combo as he was now next to him and smacked his horn around with his keyblade until he then shifted into a ground combo, as he had now landed on its back. After having done that, he then went to attack it once more, with another air combo having fallen off its back, then shifted into vorpal blitz and then continued with another air combo followed up with the finishing touches. Cherry blossoms then rained from the sky, only for Stratos disappear from sight and cleave through the behemoth's horn. After doing that, the behemoth disappeared and he was now facing down the entire horde of heartless himself. Ah well, somethings are never easy. Wordlessly casting cure and aero on Karina again, he then jetted off to draw away their attention once more.

The heartless showed no signs of giving up and surrendering anytime soon, but neither did Glen. With every swing of the keyblade his determination only grew stronger, his will to fight getting more and more solid by the second. He had resolved to grow strong enough to kill Vanitas, strong enough to defeat any and all who stood in his path, and if he fell in the battle of one thousand heartless, he would never fulfill that goal. Not only would it prove he wasn't as strong as he thought, but he would certainly not survive long enough to have even a glimmer of hope at achieving his goal.

Brandishing his keyblade, Hidden Dragon, Glen braced himself, ready for the attack that was inevitably coming from the heartless army. If he had anything to do with it, they wouldn't be standing there for long. They weren't just enemies to him, they were obstacles standing in his way, and he wasn't going to simply stand by and let them walk all over him. Especially after they had brutally murdered Paul. Standing in front of him and looking as visually intimidating as they usually did (not very), there were the last six soldiers, as well as two shadows, and finally Bertha, the Behemoth that was now officially his mortal enemy and permanent rival, or at least until the end of the battle. Either one worked for him.

Dashing forward, Glen rushed headfirst towards one of the soldiers. Seemingly catching it off-guard, a single strike of Hidden Dragon was enough to weaken it, followed by another quick strike which lead to its destruction. One moment the armour was there, the next it was gone. Damn Glen was plotmodded, and he was loving every second of it. Hearing a slight clattering sound to his left, he turned around to see another soldier, preparing its attack. With a quick movement of the keyblade, the weapon was raised to block the incoming attack. The kick from the heartless was blocked, although it was a fairly close moment, and Glen, using a little more effort, pushed back with a burst of strength and knocked the heartless onto its backside.

His keyblade now became engulfed in flames as he swung it vertically down and sliced the heartless clean in half, ending its life. The third one went down as easily as the first two. Easier, in fact. It literally tripped over running to attack Glen. Yes, you read that correctly. This trained soldier of the heartless army, being relied on to be part of the front line and their defence, tripped over in the middle of battle. It wouldn't have been so bad, had it not done that right at Glen's feet. With a cocky grin and a lightning-fast horizontal slash, the soldier went down in the span of what seemed to be around three seconds or so.

Three soldiers remaining, and two shadows, before he could finally avenge Paul. "What do you say we speed this up a little? You all group up, try to kill me, fail, and then..you know, die? Sound good? Alright" Glen said, confident as ever. Whether his words actually got through to the heartless or they were exceptionally stupid, Glen would never know, but they legitimately did exactly as Glen told them to do. I s.hit you not, they really did. They grouped together, just as he said, and then they charged at him as though they had suddenly been transformed into zerglings. One single, powerful, strike raid later, and they were dead. Every one of those that had opposed him were now nothing more than black vapour, but more importantly; the path to murder Bertha was now clear.

So, Stratos briefly lost all motivation to fight. Just briefly. For a moment while he was flying he questioned what the point of it all was. After all, he was fighting so hard and doing so much work but for whatever logical reason, people who were doing jack shit would gain just as much experience as him. Now where was the justice in that? Oh well. He quickly got over this, and started flying around the battlefield once more. This time, his aim was to keep the heartless on his tail for as long as possible and wait for Karina to work with through this depression she was going through herself. After all, there was no way he could try to offer another helping hand to her after he basically told her everything already that would possibly keep her out of this state. Especially since there was no way he could do that while defending her from all these heartless that were chasing him. So he just had the objective of keeping them away from her until he could find a way to kill her. And so, he started flying around all over the place, taunting the heartless as he went to get their attention on him.

With that, his grand plan of "Save Karina from her own depression" plan had started. The remaining armored knight was actually the only problem of the group because it moved far slower than all of the other members of the group. So he had to keep a decent speed that would be able to keep that heartless interested in him, but at the same time have the assault riders not catch up to him and totally kill him. There was another ever pressing issue, but he wouldn't worry about that big galute just yet. However, he was still having problems regulating his speed, as the assault riders were completely in range of him, thrusting their spears at him every which way and slashing forward. Hell, they were basically just Hecarim at this point, and they were going fast. It was then that out of the corner of his eye, he saw the familiar form of his heartless mortal enemy standing there. While he knew what was coming next, and he knew how to avoid it, he was totally going to take the hit. Bringing the keyglider up, he defended against the strike using it to guard, and he was sent flying away from the group of heartless. This came as a slight boon to him, as it kept the heartless pressure off of him, as the hit sent him far away from them.

He then high jumped to avoid a kick that came from behind him. He had been fighting Derpy the Derpmoth for far too long to be surprised by any of its regular tricks anymore. Turning around, he saw the blank stare in its eyes, and felt the urge to lay waste to his foe. It was some sort of mutual understanding between the two now, that one of them needed to die, and that each other were the only opponents worthy of doing the other in. Or ya know, Karina if he kill stole or something, but still. Stratos unleashed a quick Vorpal Bltiz on the heartless, and then followed it up with an air combo. After having hit the heartless, he got on his keyglider flying away back to the group of heartless. Once he was sent far and away from them, he knew that the group would turn their attention to the broken keyblade wielder. And so, he flew straight at them, and before they could attack her, he attacked the one armored knight with his strike raid-esque attack, and then crashed into an assault rider. He then quickly got back on his keyglider and flew away from the scene, drawing the mob away from Karina. He then cast cure on Karina again, even though he had just done that and he knew that she had yet to do anything after he healed her the first time. So, there was just next to no point for it this time. Or was there?

Karina could not stop herself from sobbing on the ground as the flames subsided around her and she was shaking. She didn't know how to handle anything anymore. She couldn't do this even though she had to, she couldn't even bring herself to move any more. She simply sat in the corner in tears while the heartless chased Stratos for a little while leaving her be. But that would only last so long. she knew that already. Heartless where dicks and loved to attack girls when they where down and having break downs. Dicks like that didn't deserve to be the end of her. No she would not let them kill her for no other reason them they where too much of dicks to deserve to take her life. Only a worthy opponent would be allowed to, perhaps even Aux... no Aux's leader would be more suitable. Or that was the theory of how she might die in her mind. Although if she didn't want these things to kill her, she would have to force herself to move. You can't expect to live by just sitting there, although Adan and Base where doing it. Either way she had to move.

Stratos soon came by and cast aero and cure on Karina once again. Wiping the tears off her face she stood to her feet with some effort. She gave a quick nod to Stratos before running forward at the horde of heartless. Okay running was an over statement, more like walking somewhat quickly but not a motivated walk, just a sad pathetic attempt at moving quickly. Her arms hung loosely at her side barely gripping her keyblade. Karina eyed the weakest heartless in the area. There was nothing else she could take on in this state. She felt weak and drained even with Stratos's second cure she had no energy. It was most likely emotion stress draining her mentally which in turn felt like they where draining her physically, it made the most sense in this case.

Time to fight sort of. Fight as in fling her keyblade around clumsily and hope that it actually hit something and kill it. With her strength it wasn't hard to kill something as long as she made contact with it a few times she should be able to kill it. Surprisingly it work with one of the Assault riders and one of the armored knight. But that was as far as Karina's luck, if that is what you would call it, went. She couldn't attack the small heartless anymore do to Derpy the Derpmoth appearing out of nowhere to hit Karina.... again. "Flying across the wall she smashed into a couple of bookshelves and fell to the ground. Karina staggered to her feet once more only to find Derpy beside her kicking her again. This time as she was about to hit the wall she twisted her body so she was able to plant her feet against the wall. Pushing off the wall she transformed her keyblade onto the a glider and landed on it taking off back towards Stratos. She knew that it would appear to kick one of them and the other could attack in that time. As she pulled up beside him and waited for Derpy to make his move Karina turned to Stratos. "Sorry...." She said quietly feeling guilty for making him have to deal with her this entire time. Suddenly Derpy appeared to kick, none other than Stratos, surprise surprise. As he kicked Stratos, Karina jumped off her glider and transformed it into a glider coming down on Derpy's head. "Hurry up and die. I just need this to be over and you aren't helping." Karina said to Derpy as she landed from her attack, followed up by casting cure on Stratos since she did just use him as bate.

Well, this fight was going pretty in their favor i would say. Kel was able to knock the behemoth into the air somehow. That was a pretty impressive feat. Then again, this guy had strength to rival Karina. He was just less "I dun need no stinkin other stats" about it. If they could keep up this, the thing wouldn't last long at all. Just a little bit longer. In fact, he'd say free wily cat the slamjamoth was just about halfway dead. He was about to go attack when suddenly out of nowhere, he stopped. He....He had to pee. That brought back memories. Memories of when Ananta needed to pee in came- GASP!

"The peasant. At the diner....He didn't pay his check."

He began having a flashback when- GASP

"Nequa took the sword of honor along with Excalibur. That means that she seems to be going around collecting legendary swords. If she's collected two already, then there's no telling what others she's collected. What's worse, what she could be using them for. That makes it all the more important that we get back Excalibur from her. Although, trying to do it now would be suicide. She kicked our asses in the last fight, and from what i hear, she's got a few buddies who are just as strong as she is. What do you say we work on that mark of mastery after this?" Beuce offered to Kel.

However, He was interrupted by a blast of energy to the back. A surveillance robot had shot fair bit smaller version of the massive laser he'd seen previously. The attack still hurt quite a bit, but wasn't fatal. Yet, anyways. There seemed to be two or three more converging on him. He cast aero on himself to save him from most of the damage with a protective barrier of wind, but by the time he came out of it, his clothes were in tatters. He cast cure to avert the injuries, but the damage to his wardrobe was the same. "Man...this was my favorite coat." And on that note, he hopped on board the stripper bandwagon. He ripped off his coat and shirt, leaving him in just his pants and shoes. And....uh...He ate a strawberry sundae or...something. Anyway the guy was shirtless and all the heartless were disintegrated from his sheer sexiness. Yup. That's what happened. In fact, that was how he spent his 11 of his BP. The behemoth heartless was injured before the might of his sexy.

His next action was done for a few reasons. Number 1, Karina was being all depressed and suicidal-y and that was just a buzzkill on any day. Second, her sheer angry might condense into some kind of like green lantern fist and fly at them and hit their behemoth, but most of all, she be jacking his swagger and making references. At least when he did it it was in character! "Hey Kel, come here for a minute." He said, calling over the other one fighting alongside him. He aimed his keyblade at her, and launched a fireball. Flying through the air, it landed right against her backside and exploded. Quickly, he turned around and looked busy fighting. Totally inconspicious, unlike that kel over there who was still staring! God, that meant he had been staring at her ass, what a pervert! Like, who even did tha....Beuce totally gave himself away by turning around and getting distracted staring at her ass. Well, it was certainly hot. *rimshot* No but seriously he's going to die now.

Stratos was continuing to draw aggro to himself, waiting for Karina to snap out of her funk of depression, and had managed to do quite...difficultly actually. The fact that that armored knight was there and screwed over the entire tempo of the whole aggro drawing thing, and so he had to keep constantly fluctuating his speed. The assault riders were being a big pain in ass too. One kept trying to hurl its body at him in an attempt to just beat him down, and others were just stabbing with their spears all over the place. Some of them were more directed at the air then they were him, so he had no idea what was up with that, but he'd worry about that in due time. For now, he was just constantly swerving around like a drunk man, avoiding all kinds of attacks until he had started steadily increase his speed. It was more on reflex than anything, but this started to put distance between him and the assault riders, thus making it harder to draw away the aggro of the armored knight. God this job was annoying. Starting to decelerate he then noticed something that would make this go by way faster.

Karina had managed to psyche herself back into this fight. Miracles do exist. Granted, she was sort of waddling into the battle, as though she had about three elephants strapped to her back, and seemed pretty not so thrilled to keep at the fighting. Despite this, she seemed to actually be attacking the heartless no matter how halfheartedly, and managed to kill not only an assault rider, but also that last armored knight. Really that was the biggest boon out of all the heartless that had been killed thus far, and so he was now able to keep aggro from a safe distance rather than simply nearly get himself killed each time. It was then that he saw Derpy warp into the picture again, and kick Karina across the room. When she had recovered from the blow, she flew over to him and the two started leading on the heartless mob, waiting for the inevitable to happen. The shadow was cast, and Stratos had recieved a direct kick from Derpy the Derpmoth, sending him flying away, though allowing Karina to take this opportunity to attack him. When she had finished, he managed to recover from the attack and flew off towards the heartless mob again.

So anyway, the obvious was going to happen again, and boy did it. The shadow cast over him once more, and Stratos knew what was to follow. Lifting his keyglider in front of the foot, he managed to block against the strike from the foot, and was sent skidding across the room on his glider. He then noticed that Derpy the Derpmoth was to his side now, and so he quickly warped his keyblade back to his hand, and then started to make cherry blossoms fall from the sky. Before the foot could make contact, he simply went in and hit the heartless with just about everything he had, combining blizzard magic into the strike, to create some weird Blizzard Zantetsuken attack, slicing at the horn of Derpy. Well that was good and done with. Stratos was about to start his flight again, when he noticed something rather eye catching. He watched as Karina's ass was set on fire and didn't really do much because damn she had hot ass. It's a shame she was a bit of moody chronic depressive, otherwise she'd be quite the attractive female. Turning his attention away soon after, he simply cast cure on her, probably cause her rump needed it, and then flew off to the mob of heartless once more.

While Kel waited for Beuce to attack the behemoth, he made sure to keep an eye on it so that it wouldn’t try anything. Not that he thought that staring at the heartless would actually stop it from doing anything, but one could be hopeful. That much was he could do. As he continued to wait for Beuce to do something, he heard him gasp. Figuring that he’d just come up with an idea, only to find that the realization that he’d come to was about some peasant. Nothing that he needed to pay attention to. As for what followed the second gasp, that was a different story.

Taking into consideration how every time something had nearly beaten the crap out of him Nequa had made an appearance in the world and with the fact that the guardians could only be challenge by masters, it was pretty clear that he was going to try to pass the Mark of Mastery. “Sounds like a plan.” Indeed, he was going to fight fire with fire, but he wasn’t going to use any magic against Nequa, no he was going to use Runes against her and even more specifically he was going to use Shining Rune Buster on her. There would be no escape from the awesome power that is Rune Slayer, but he would have to pass the Mark of Mastery to even get there and first he would have to get past all these heartless.

After an interesting display from Beuce, that somehow managed to damage the behemoth, Kel got ready to attack. Seeing as how’d already made a close range attack before and didn’t want to risk it catching on to his attacks, Kel held his keyblade out in front of him and turned it sideways. Then with the help of his blizzard magic, a mold of a bow and arrow took shape. Kel then grabbed the back of the arrow and pulled back, aiming the keyblade/bow towards the ceiling before firing it off. As the arrow flew through the air in an arc, it passes by a single light above them. It was at that point that the one arrow broke apart into numerous ones that rained down onto the Behemoth. This was the second time that his entrance in the archery tournament back in Nottingham had pained off and it probably would be the last time that it did.

Once that was taken care of, Kel heard Beuce call out to him. He had no idea why, but seeing as how these heartless were actually giving them time to not focus on them, he didn’t question it too much. So when he got there, the first thing that Beuce did was shoot off a fireball that landed directly on Karina. Much like, though not as bad, as when the behemoth turned into free wily just to get over a spot of ice, Kel was indeed staring over in Karina’s direction out of confusion. Though unless Karina did something like frolic with a basket full of flowers and her own flower crown, which would be a sight to see cause this is Karina we’re talking about, his gaze didn’t stay in that direction for long. Now there was no telling what she would do in response to do, but Kel wasn’t all that worried about her reaction. Not because of the 5 point gap in strength they have, he wasn’t worried cause despite the fact that he was staring in that direction Karina would more than likely aim her aggression at Beuce. Then again as far as he knew she didn’t know that many long ranged attacks so hell, even Beuce might be safe for now. Emphasis on the for now.

Stratos was now going back to his usually scheduled heartless antics. The antics of him going and just embracing his inner keep the balance of the world ninja, and taunting all the heartless, and then, subsequently, tanking any and all damage that came his way. While he didn't really understand how that fit a ninja, that didn't stop him from doing exactly just that. Soaring into the mob of heartless, basically only assault riders at this point, he started to bob and weave his way through all of them, avoiding any all strikes and stabs that would come toward him. Having done that, all the heartless were now successfully aggroed onto him and he could lead them any which direction he so chose to do it in. However, he had to still keep in mind that Karina was still following him behind and still had to keep up with the Hecarim heartless. As such, he didn't try to jet away from them, and although the armored knights had all been killed, he still felt the need to slow down. After all, if the assault riders were more focused on killing him rather than chasing him than they'd be moving way slower, right?

And so, as he decelerated on his keyglider, the assault riders managed to start catching up with him, and started to launch out their various attacks at him. The first to keep pace with him started by stabbing forward with its spearberd, followed up with the second one jumping at him. He managed to dodge both attacks by simply shifting his weight to the side, causing the keyglider to swiftly move horizontally, and avoiding the attacks altogether. With that done, since one had missed with its jump attack, it was now left vulnerable for a short period of time as it had restart up its charge after just landing. However, he couldn't pay attention to that one at the moment as he still had an entire horde still behind him. With a few more trying to catch up to him, Stratos suddenly turned the keyglider and started moving in almost a circular motion. This would be the ideal way to keep their attention, most likely. Furthermore, it helped him dodge any and all attacks that would come his way. This was showcased when a few assault riders tried to sweep their large spearberds at him, only to miss due to the constant turning motion that Stratos had.

While all had seemed fair and well, alas, it twas not meant to last. For you see, whenever there is a man who would try and leave the heartless group and simply try to run from them, there will always be one who sends them back into the action. One who sees nothing, but visualizes everything. One who's body does not move, and yet he is the fastest being to exist. One who has not practiced ten thousand kicks one time, but instead, has practiced one kick ten thousand times. This being was known only as, Derpy the Derpmoth. For he had appeared, and he had sought out to fulfill his grand purpose. Towering over Stratos, the behemoth then reared back its leg. While the young keyblade wielder had faced this many a time prior, he had not seen the move be preformed as fast as it had this time. No. The attack came and connected with Stratos, sending the young boy flying across the room, only to appear next to his airborne body, and come back to kick him once more. Stratos thought fast to save himself, however, and charged up a quick mini sun, throwing it straight at the behemoth and having it explode immediately, damaging the behemoth and pushing the boy away from the creature. Shit was getting real.

Karina was about to take off at the heartless halfheartedly once again but stopped when she felt something hit her behind followed by the feeling of burning. The ends of Karina's skirt soon caught ablaze causing Karina to panic for a second. She then did the logical thing to do, stop, drop and roll until the flames where out. For the most part no harm done, but her skirt was slightly shorter then before with it's ends frayed, but it still did it's job. Now why in the world did she wear a skirt into battle in the first place.... Well because it was in the picture she had for her appearance even though she only wore skirts when she had to back home. Soon a bit of relief came making her butt feel a lot better. Thankfully Stratos cast cure, he was a good teammate unlike whoever had sent the fire ball. Karina scanned the library quickly to see if she could find who it was who had sent it. Fist she saw Kel staring at her... maybe him? But the she saw Beuce slightly behind him. Beuce was staring intently while Kel on the other hand looked confused. Now that made a lot of sense. Karina pointed at Beuce then ran her finger across her neck while mouthing the words "I am going to kill you." But in order to kill him Karina needed to do two things first. One keep her mental state in check, which was questionable at this point. And two get through these heartless to get to Beuce. That one was possible but was going to be slow. Sure she was angry but in a depressive state like she was in at the time it was incredibly hard to motivate herself to do anything fast, even if she wanted to kill Beuce. It wasn't like that idea was knew to her. She wanted to kill him since they got to Central Haven, he just continually made it worse.

Now it was time to work on taking out the assault rides, one fricken one at a time, because this battle wasn't already dragging on long enough as it was. Karina hopped on her glider and raced at an assault rider, just narrowly missing it's spear as she dodged. When close enough Karina figured she would leap at the heartless from the side to injure it. The moment Karina's feet left the glider it transformed back into a keyblade in her hand allowing her to swipe at the heartless on her way down. Karina then proceeded to slash at the heartless a number of times, taking a few hits herself but she relied on Aero to save her for now since she did not seem to have the energy to bother to move out of the way. Dodging attacks from enemies like this she needed a lot of speed, something she didn't have. A few times she would deflect the heartless's attack by attacking at the same time so they countered each other but besides that she didn't even guard. Karina was able to take the one heartless out before it could do too much damage to her. Karina then turned to the one behind it, jumping on it's spear as it tried to stab her. Jumping off of it directly after Karina jumped into the air and came down on the heartless with a simple Vorpal blitz. She then did a back flip off and landed on her feet behind the assault rider. She was about to make another move that would hopefully kill the heartless but Derpy would have none of that. Kicking her away Karina would have to return and finish the job later.
