In the midst of Karina regrouping a circle of air surrounded Karina. Wind brushed her hair back as the familiar protection of Aero surrounded her. Karina did not acknowledge Stratos helping her but she appreciated it. With her low defense Karina needed to be careful of how she dealt with things or she would not last long. Karina's eyes darted around the room focusing on one at a time what heartless she was going to take out, when and how she was going to do it. Strategy was ever in this battle. It was time that Karina showed everyone what she could truly do. Besides one of the battles in Beasts Castle, she didn't show her tactical side. Instead she relied on her emotional side. For some reason she preferred to fight using her emotions as her power, not strategy even though in her mind she knew that her emotions would cause her to act more reckless and be more dangerous then if she used tactics. But wasn't that what she got a thrill out of, the danger and near death experiences. They where what drove her to try harder and become more powerful after all. However it wouldn't be long before that drive would lead to her really dying.

Karina sighed and shook off her current thought pattern. It was time she focused on the heartless once more. Karina took a single step forward before leaping into the air coming down on a soldier using aerial slam. Karina then proceeded to dodge roll her way out of being attacked by an Assault Rider. As she stood up out of the dodge roll Karina slashes up at another soldier, followed by a side slash to finish that soldier off. She continued her combo by leaping forward bringing her keyblade down on a third soldier and stashing it on a diagonal one more time to make sure it was dead. Karina attempted to dodge roll again to avoid another attack, this time by an armored knight, but was not so lucky. It's attack caught her side, it was thanks to the aero she was okay or else that might have hurt. Karina simply decided to keep going casting Gravity on a couple soldiers. As she ran forward she leaped into the air preforming a vorpal blitz one one soldier followed by the other. The first enemy was thrown down onto another soldier, then she followed that one with the second one and her own body. She dived down, her keyblade in the seconds soldiers chest propelling it down onto the dog pile of soldiers on the ground. As Karina felt the pressure of her keyblade come to a stop first she used the redirected momentum of that to launch herself sideways at her seventh soldier. Feet first she flew at the soldier knocking it on it's back Karina landed slightly before where the heartless had fallen, her keyblade was still moving however, the momentum of the weight of the dead heartless brought it forward and down on the soldier that she had knocked to the ground seconds before. Karina hadn't expected the one heartless to have stayed on her blade, this unexpected weight threw her off and she fell flat on her face. Picking herself up she put her foot on top of the two heartless and yanked her keyblade out of them. She gave the heartless one more stab before turning around and walking away pretending the entire falling thing didn't happen.

Karina was at the end of her line once more. It was time to use her last burst of energy on the Behemoth once more. The Behemoth she hit last time was a fair ways away at this point but she was determined to reach it. Karina started a sprint full speed ahead. She swerved in and out of heartless, some swiping at her, few hitting. She then dodger roll between the legs of an assault rider (because that totally works.) From there she was close enough to use high jump to close the rest of the gap. From above the Behemoth looked less threatening, but as she landed on the ground no more then 5 meters away Karina looked up on it in all it's frightening glory. In all honesty she found the Behemoth interesting if it wasn't for the fact it was trying to kill her she would want to take the time to observe that. But that idea was out the window. If she did that she would not live long enough to truly admire it. After a moment of hesitation Karina ran forward and attacked the Behemoth. She then did a back flip away from it before finding a spot to rest and catch her breath for a moment.

Time for another round of heartless to get totally killed by Stratos. He was finding it hard to get in a groove for fighting these things, as he had basically been doing nothing but dodge rolling all over the place while he wasn't fighting stuff. It was a good thing he was fighting the same heartless, as he was able to learn just what they were capable of, however, that seemed to not be able to help him in this situation. Staring down three armor knights, Stratos started dodge rolling away as the three armor knights continued their charge against him. The three of them finished their charge by simultaneously jump attacking him, with all three of the blades landing in a very three musketeers type formation, they quickly withdrew from the formation to see Stratos charge and attack them. As threatening as they might have seemed to him, they did lack the ability to guard against attacks, and thus Stratos was able to combo one of them before having to dodge roll away.

The three then continued their pursuit of him as they continued to leap at him, one after the other. Stratos realized that his strategy would tire himself out too fast, and thus he stopped, causing the knights to overshoot him and jump past. Point the keyblade at one of the three, he cast immediately fire, sans chant, launching a fireball at one of them. With the fireball homing in, it exploded on contact and killed the heartless immediately, with an aforementioned sound effect. After looking at the heart fly to the sky, the two armored knights turned their attention back to Stratos and began their assault on him once more.

Stratos ducked from the first strike coming at him, and then put his keyblade up to guard against the second knight's strike. He then continued to retain his guard stance as the blades continued to come one after the other into his guard. Vorpal Blitz wasn't off cooldown yet, and Stratos didn't have enough charge yet to unleash another trip around the sun, thus he was kind of stuck at the moment. While however, these two armored knights continued to be relentless, as Stratos continued to keep up his guard. It was then that he thought of a way to take both of them out at once. When the two had both connected attacks at the same time, Stratos pushed them back with his blade and then, sans chant once more, cast Mine Square around himself. The two knights, not seeming to know what that was at all, just walked over them as they all blew up, causing the armored knight heartless to be completely dead. Well that was easy.

Stratos then looked around to see what else he could kill. He saw a lone soldier, just sort of doing a waddling type walk, going past all the people here. Seeing that, he couldn't just let the soldier's march go uncontested. Dodge rolling over there, (being faster than walking an all,) Stratos brought his keyblade down on the soldier, gaining its attention and knocking it away. As the soldier charged at Stratos, he blocked the attack and then unleashed a combo against the heartless. Having not been dead yet, Stratos was about to attack it once more to finish the job off, when something collided with him, as if out of nowhere. The force of the blow sent Stratos hurtling across until he was able to pick himself back up, albeit in pain, to see what had brought the blow. "Oh son of a bi-" Lowering a raised leg, there stood a behemoth that had gotten in Stratos's way. And boy did it not seem like it wanted to make friends.

They had to take down a whole fleet of Heartless that were heading their way. This was going to be a challenege no doubt but they had no other choice. The portal would reopen in twenty minutes, than from there who knew what other surprises were waiting for them. But there was no time to be standing around, Anora could feel the tremors that shook the grounds. Whatever was out there she knew it was going to be a lot and that’s what caused the white haired female to gulp down a thick swallow of spit that seemed to be stuck in her suddenly dry throat.

Looking to the man Beuce, she listened to his plan. It seemed like it could work, she would take the back like the other mystics, using her physical attacks whenever needed. She looked to the other keybladers around her, a feeling wrenching her stomach. She wasn't going to let any others disappear into the darkness like before, and neither would she. This time she would stand and fight against what ever pain struck her. Her training with Aden and Raisor in enduring her heart were going to come in handy now more than ever. The tremors got worse, she could feel the shake of the wall coming from the explosions of magic using heartless. Tightening the handle of the keyblade she ran with Hikaru, Kel and Luna toward Beuce’s position toward the front entrance.

Her stance was strong, but not as brutish as some of the others. She held her keyblade in one hand and as if an extension of her arm she took down 4 shadows who were a little too close for comfort as they lunged at her She took each one down with a fluid motion of her blade, knocking each one with little to no effort as they twitched and squirmed in their position, taking them down before they could try and give her a nasty swipe. Looking forward she saw Beuce who had been taking the most of the Heartless on by himself. Dashing toward him she bent her knees and jumped, knocking back the large body, who rolled back, thick stubby arms reaching its head as it was stunned by of the attack that came from above. This gave her the opportunity to heal the male who was groaning on the floor. “Here, take this,” She said, tossing a Hi-Potion. She had to save her magic just in case she got into a tough situation. Her body was turned halfway, as she stared at the man who caught the item, “You aren’t alone in this battle. Count on me as well.” At the corner of her eye she caught the motion of the Heartless standing. Dashing toward the round creature, she dodge rolled its attack, coming behind it and giving it a blast of hit from behind, the heartless hitting the floor on its stomach and the beautiful glow of the heart it consumed left the heartless and entered the sky.

Looking back she felt another tremor and looked at the Behemoths that did not look pleased what so ever. "Those are pretty big." She commented and pulled out he keyblade. She noticed a few flyers that were just screaming pest all over them. “So. Take down the small ones and little by little attack those things?” She asked the man watching those flyers who swirled around beside the bigger Heartless.

Stratos let out a heavy wheezing as he regained his balance from the attack. Man behemoths hit hard. As he was able to keep standing after the attack, he quickly thrust his keyblade into the air and watched as a spell ignited off of it. Soon, a green wave of healing light enveloped Stratos, as the cure spell had healed up all of his wounds from that attack. Feeling better from the attack, he looked at the behemoth that had kicked him, only to realize that there was no way he would be able to fight this thing right from the get go, and so he started running from it. The behemoth did not like the fact that his prey had started to run away from him.

The behemoth had started to bull charge straight at the dodge rolling Stratos. After catching up with him, the behemoth tried buck the boy away with his horns. Stratos regained his balance, quickly turned around and held his keyblade up into a guard stance. While he was using the command to block the brunt of the attack, when the horns connected with his blade, Stratos was sent skidding across the room, only for two other heartless to want to get in on the action of killing him.

Two armored knights then joined the fray, with the behemoth still not giving up on its chase to completely kill Stratos. The two armored knights then started their attacks up, letting out a barrage of slashes that Stratos could only really guard against. The Behemoth then leaped at him, causing Stratos to dodge roll away from the thing. However, the impact from the heartless landing still managed to damage Stratos, despite avoiding the attack. The two armored knights were not giving up on the fight either, jumping at the recovering boy with their arm blades at the ready. Stratos realized that his window of opportunity wasn't exactly great to launch a counter attack at the moment, and so he rolled out of the attacks once more. Having distanced himself from the heartless, he then pointed his keyblade at the two knight heartless, ready to cast a spell again. He then just stood there until he realized that he actually out of MP at the moment. Well this was terrible.

The behemoth started walking towards Stratos once more, while the armored knights tried to take advantage of his failed casting, only for Stratos to be able to react in time and guard against the two strikes. He was pretty sure Vorpal Blitz was still on cool down at the moment, and so that wouldn't be something he could use to get out of this situation. He then remembered what he did last time he was in this situation. Knowing that he had enough strength to do it again, Stratos punched his chest again to instant cast Trip Around the Sun for a second time during the fight. The sun created a small dome of flame around him just as it had before, obliterating all of the surrounding heartless. Stratos then thought that, with the armored knights dead, he should move onto more of the heartless. That was, until the behemoth had walked its way up to him while he was dealing with the knights, and kicked him once again. Stratos wasn't about to be blindsided by this attack again, and held out his keyblade to guard most of the attack. While he did skid across the ground once more, the Behemoth charged at him once more, only Stratos try and high jump right over the thing's head. Realizing the cool down had finally finished, Stratos unleashed a Vorpal blitz on the Behemoth's horn, followed up with a regular combo.

Standing there alone with his side directed towards the group, D'daear found himself gazing over at Beuce. The man's demeanor had suddenly changed, with a presence that demanded attention. So odd. It seemed there was no escaping the present situation they had all found themselves in, considering how somehow as jolly as Beuce was taking the situation seriously. With a sigh whilst pocketing both hands, D'daear shifted his weight to one leg as he turned to face the Commander and those he was now instructing. As he stood in the back, D'daear could not help but notice what was going on between Karina and Ananta. It was none of his business to eavesdrop, so he didn't bother paying them much attention. However, it was evident that their bickering was a distraction. Aside from them, everyone else was paying close attention, which brought a bit of a light chuckle to him. By now D'daear had begun to realize that this was the reality of the bitter situation. His heart pulsed a bit faster, anxiety beginning to kick in. Nervous, he grasped at the innards of his pocket, and tightened those hands into fists, remembering the brawl he had endured with his team back at Beast's castle, when they had first met Aux at the staircase leading to the ballroom. That was when Hikaru's real name had been revealed, although no one was quite sure if Aux had been referring to their friend. He bit his lower lip. "Now that I think of it...that was my first time fighting heartless..." he thought, excluding their first encounter with Beast. At the time, he had no idea how to wield his weapon properly; heck even now he still barely knows. However, back then it was much more different...well...maybe not that much. All this reminiscing seemed to help calm him a bit, of course at the cost of paying close attention to Beuce. As D'daear looked up, he started seeing everyone depart, everyone heading to take up position. A small gasp became evident in D'daear's reaction as eyelids widened to reveal more of his blue irises. He looked around, with the bit of calm that had settled in soon escaping him.

Everyone had scurried off to take up positions as the sound of enemies grew nearer; it was hard to not notice as the abundance of reverberating sounds caused the floor beneath them to quake. With a loud bang, the doors to all four sides of the library burst open to unleash a flock of creatures of all shapes and sizes. D'daear gritted his teeth in anxiety, soon hearing the air around him fill with the sound of war. The clatter of armor, the clang of blades clashing, magic unleashed, loud bellows, and earth shaking stampedes created the atmosphere that was now the library. The sweet memories keyblade appeared in D'daear's right hand, becoming his awakening to this event.

"This is for real..." he thought, barely audible if uttered. The saliva in his mouth began to wane, with an ever steadying anxiousness looming over him. In order to ease himself a bit, he tightened the grip over the handle of his sweet memories, as if somehow hoping to channel all of his fears, and anxiety into one spot. Perhaps he was hoping for it to clear the mind a bit, allowing him to focus on what's important. Unsteady breathing, and a heart that was pounding to break free from his chest called for D'daear to take a small moment to gather his wits. He lowered the eyelids over those blue irises that belonged to him, and tried to calm himself, if anything to at least gain focus. The battle raged on around him, trying to ruin D'daear's small form of meditation. 1... The sound of thunder reverberated throughout the library. 2... The sound of blade against heartless slicing clean through was caught by D'daear's ears. That was all he had to do...defend. He took his last breath, filling the lungs until he could feel them inflate to the point of no more. 3.... The air slowly escaped him, with eyelids gently lifting open. He reassured himself for the moment, feeling the anxiety withering away; although still present. It was in that he heard a continuous advance of footsteps, they sounded like that of galloping. Aware that this was a battlefield, he quickly turned just in time to see the tip of the spear only a yard away. In reaction to this, D’daear reflexively knocked the tip of the spear aside with the keyblade as it closed the distance between them in a matter of a second. In one motion, he had stepped diagonally forward with one foot adjacent to where he was about to commence the swing of his blade. The motions were fluid, yet rigid as a Horse like creature collided with the side of D’daear’s keyblade. With the already built up momentum, and weight of the said creature, it was inevitable for the horse to avoid the counterattack.

D’daear kept strong as the blade cleaved through the side of the horse in the middle of its dash, calling forth the muscle in his legs to keep stance, while calling forth the muscles in his arms and torso to continue the swing of his blade. It felt like a minute for him, and yet it was only a second as the blade sliced clean through the speeding creature, relieving D’daear of the opposing force that he was pushing against. The boy’s knees caved as he stumbled to his knees, dropping his hands to the floor. All he heard was the loud thud of the horse’s inevitable collision with something; all amidst the chaos that had unfolded. Hot flashes came over D’daear as he realized how strenuous the clash had been. He hastily got up and turned to see what it was he had just survived. About a yard away lay withering into the shadows the corpse of a centaur like heartless, with a huge gash emanating from the beginning of its front, traveling all the way on the sides to the back of its legs. Wanting to swallow held back saliva, he did so with a loud gulp that moved his small Adam’s apple.

Turning his head whilst mid heavy breath, it dawned on him that the heartless had emerged from the south side. Blue eyes immediately met with the south gate, where three others were tackling the armada of heartless. If one of them managed to break through their defense, then it was obvious they were having a bit of trouble. Anxiety began to arise within him once more as blue irises took notice of the variety of heartless that were coming through that south gate. The grip on his keyblade flexed, tightening as he was steadily forcing himself to be determined. Scared, and perhaps feeling overwhelmed, he closed his eyes whilst gritting his teeth. He knew well that this was no time to submit to such petty emotions. Suddenly his brows furrowed, with eyes shooting open with self-kindled determination.

From the Corner that Karina backed herself into she could see most people who had been sent to the same side of the room as her. It looked as though Stratos was keeping up if not doing more then she was. He wasn't all that strong so she couldn't quite understand how he was able to keep up so well, but she shook it off and kept pushing forward. Perhaps it would be more fun if she made this a contest in her mind. Who could kill the most, the fastest. At least for the little ones, Karina was aware that they would have to work together for the bigger ones.

"Time for another round, hope they are ready for this." Karina's voice was low as she looked through the horde of heartless. Despite having focused only on the weak heartless, the soldiers, their numbers where still high. Karina casually walked forward towards her first target, the one Stratos was hit away from earlier. With one simple swing of her keyblade she had destroyed it. "Well that is one out of seven, time to keep going." Her eyes focused on another soldier not to far away. She pushed herself forward so she was almost flying at it. As she moved a protective barrier formed around her. By just looking at the move it didn't look all that strong but Karina was able to use it to kill the heartless the moment she made contact. Karina quickly followed this up by throwing her keyblade to her left at another soldier. While it was out of her hand she ran at a four punching it in the face. Even without her keyblade Karina was plenty strong. As it came back to her she used it to deal the final deadly blow to the heartless. "Lets call that four." Karina kept count to herself. There was still three more she would deal with this round, followed by the behemoth. As Karina picked out her next three targets, she blocked one of the armored knights attacks. "I will deal with you later." She said as she dodge rolled away before it could attack her again. Karina passed one soldier on her way to two more. She used an upper slash to knock it into the air before leaping up after it bringing her keyblade down on it. She followed this by planting her feet firm on the heartless's chest and launching her self off of it. She felt the heartless dissipate just as her feet left it's chest. "One more down." She landed from her leap right in the middle of the two soldiers that she had her eyes on. "Your next." A small grin creeped across her face. She was beginning to highly enjoy this. "How should I kill both of you." She pondered out loud. As she did one of the heartless dived at her. Karina intercepted it's attack by swinging her keyblade around. She caught it in the chest and spun it around. She stopped and let it fly after a second, sending to towards the other heartless. "It is not polite to interrupt me thinking you know." Karina stated as she walked towards the two heartless. "Magnify!" She called out as a small glow surrounded her at the time of casting. "No mercy." She said as she ran forward throwing her keyblade at them before catching it, leaping up and coming down in a vorpal blitz. Karina hesitated after they where both dead. "Perhaps that was slightly overkill." Karina just shrugged it off however.

It was time she moved onto the Behemoth. Cracking her knuckles she walked towards it rather casually. Karina felt she had a little more power then earlier but still not enough to do much. Karina quickly picked up a run, once close enough started a three hit combo. Her attacks not doing much each but it was more then the single hits she had been getting in before. Immediately after Karina backed off not wanting to stick around long enough for the Behemoth to agro against her. "Well that was fun." Karina stated to no one in particular. Her voice almost sounded happy. She was definitely enjoying this but it was hard to say if she was enjoying it too much.

As Kel listened in to everything that was said some things were understood, some weren't and some thing just confused/surprised the hell out of him. Namely everything Beuce had done to get Karina back in the library. It was definitely a bold tactic that probably wouldn't end well for him later. On the bright side there was a army of heartless for her to blow off some steam on, something Karina desperately needed.

That was when Beuce had the idea of guarding the various entrance of the library, each one of them were being swarmed by heartless of various size, strengths and intimidation levels. One the bright size Nequa had already finished her business here so she was no where near the library meaning his assume bad luck when she was around wouldn't be a factor here, at least that's what he hoped. Still the Behemoths could still kick his ass if he pulled a rage induced Karina impression and blindly charged at them. So yeah, definitely wasn't going to do that.

So heading towards the north entrance, the first thing Kel did was to take out the first shadow that had attempted to attack him. Something that weak definitely wasn't worth using one of the few spells he knew. The seven soldiers on the other hand were a different matter, so he then cast gravity which fortunately clumped them all together, which made it a lot easier for him to burn them all away with fira. The mass legion of heartless burst into a cloud of smoke and dark mist, which soon vanished from the area. That probably took out a small chunk of the overall mass, but combined with the ones that the others have defeated then hopefully the overall ones defeated would be fairly high. If not then they have a whole lot to go around, despite a certain person trying to take out as many as he could by himself. This was a perfect chance for Kel to get stronger in hopefully something other than strength. Not that he could use more strength, but he'd rather have enough health, defense and speed to survive most attacks.

Having been launched off the behemoth before he could do anything else, he was glad that the thing was no longer had aggro on him, and so he could go to work on the smaller heartless...or one of the bigger ones could just come up to him and they could just duke it out like that. An Assault Rider came over to him and tried to bull charge him. Having dodge rolled away from the attack, Stratos then brought his keyblade up to guard against the spinning lance strike of the Assault Rider. With the attack connecting, Stratos skidded back a bit from the attack, and then he dodged rolled again towards the heartless. The Assault Rider missed with its next strike because of this, giving Stratos an opportunity to go in for another combo attack. With that he continued to unleash another combo attack until the Assault Rider just stopped flinching. Well that was a bit of a problem.

The assault rider started spinning the giant lance around in an attempt to cleave through Stratos again. However, he continued to dodge roll away from the attacks, only dodge roll back in to attempt to use the same strategy again. However, the assault rider wasn't going to fall for this trick again and just hit Stratos with the butt of his spear. Having been hit by this blunt force, Stratos let out a pained cough, having the wind kicked out of him. He was able to recover before the assault rider was able to lance through him, and dodge rolled out of the way.

The assault rider wasn't going to allow the keyblade wielder to run away again though, and so it started to just charge straight at him. Having very little breathing room, Stratos put his keyblade up to guard against the attack, only to be pushed back by the impact of the attack. The assault rider then started to continue on with its onslaught of spear attacks. Spinning the spear around in a whirlwind, Stratos was hard pressed to keep his guard up, and eventually had to dodge roll away from the attack. The assault rider then stabbed at Stratos, who just barely twisted his body to the side to dodge the attack. Having avoided the attack, he realized that Vorpal Blitz was ready once more, and unleashed it once more on the assault rider. After the flurry of blows was unleashed against the heartless, Stratos followed up with another combo. The assault rider was still not going down from these attacks, and grabbed the kid. While it raised him up into the air, it brought its spear back ready to impale the young keyblade wielder. However, having done enough hits, and with power of the spellbinder's mp haste, Stratos had enough MP in order to cast blizzard from his keyblade. The ice chunk fired straight out a the heartless and ultimately ended it. When the heartless disappeared in a puff of black smoke, Stratos landed on the ground and started to catch his breath. While he was doing so, he cast Aero on himself to protect against any more shenanigans, only to be kicked by that same god damn behemoth.

Lowering its daintily raised leg, it just of walked away from the keyblade wielder as derpily as it had walked in. Stratos was getting really annoyed with this mammoth of a heartless, and chucked his keyblade at the behemoth, barely damaging it. As the behemoth turned around to face its attacked, said attacker was already bolting it in order to find weaker heartless to kill first.

Beuce gulped down the contents of the bottle quickly, and the pain began to ease. "Thanks. You're a life saver." He exhaled, then stood up straight once again. He felt pretty good after that potion. "That's one way to go about it. The smaller heartless are big in number, but don't take much at all to actually take down. So, on one hand we could plow through those, then end close in on the biggest one. Although, the behemoths are the heaviest hitters. It could be a good idea to get that out of the way so we have less damage being shelled out to us. Either way we go could work roughly evenly. Either way...This is going to take a pretty damn long time." Beuce explained. It didn't really matter which heartless they took out first, just as long whatever it was, they were all focusing it. If they could do that, the waves would thin out quick enough. Since they seemed to want to take out the smaller heartless, that's where they'd start.

Since most of his skill commands were on cool down, he needed to pretty much just use basic attacks on them for the moment. He ran through, slashing and killing a soldier which seemed to be far less tanky than the last one. Go figure. Rolling past a large body, he slashed its back. Jumping back, he avoided a swipe from the massive hand. He parried and countered each consecutive strike, until finally he jumped into the air and kicked off of the large body's face. Spinning into an upside down position, he reached out and grabbed one of the heartless nearby. He'd seen these things in action, and if he could manage to use that himself, it'd be really handy. If he could get through that blubber defense with a strike raid, I'm pretty sure he could get through it with a giant "fuck you" laser. Yep, that's right, this was a surveillance robot that he grabbed.

Propping open the mouth, a massive beam of energy sprung forth from it, immediately disintegrating the large body as though it had never been there in the first place. He attempted to use it to take out some nearby shadows in the area, but only one was actually hit. Apparently they could melt into the ground like some kind of shadow or something. "....Ohhh THAT'S why they're called shadows!" He exclaimed. Apparently, that had never actually occurred to him. His lack of understanding the names of heartless aside, Beuce threw the smaller one which had produced the laser to the side, having been finished with it. On to the next wave i suppose. Hopefully some of his commands would be ready this time.

However, the behemoth didn't seem to be just standing there anymore. He knelt over, and began charging a large orb of energy between its tusks. That...did not look good. If this attack hit, it would probably hurt. "Its last attack was pretty hard to dodge because it came out of nowhere. This one gives warning signs. Be ready to dodge when it hits." He said, attempting to lead his portion of the group to victory over the heartless.

Raisor quickly raised his keyblade in front of him, guarding against the Defender's attack from in front of him. As he guarded, Raisor grabbed the Defender's shield, or face, whichever was the proper term, and jumped over, using the shield as a wall. As he got around, he quickly slashed at the defender, and before it could swing around, he game it another slash, causing it to disappear. He was about ready to put Defender's at the top of his "Most annoying Heartless" list, but just then, a 2 giant spears came at his from both sides. He quickly ducked, doing a slight limbo, as the spears ran past him, grinding against each other and causing sparks. Both of his flanks were taken up by Assault Riders. And on their backs, which Raisor did not enjoy, were Black Fungus, 2 on both sides.

Raisor knew exactly how annoying both of these Heartless types were, but he never knew he'd have to fight both at the same time. He'd have to get in close to kill the Riders and fungus, but the stupid Fungus would spray poison all over the place. He needed to get the Fungus away from the Riders. Since the Assault Riders had a further reach than him, the only way that he could think of was get in through and opening and try to knock both off at once. He wasn't given much time to think about it though, since both rider plunged their spears at him with lightning speed, and Raisor dodged them by a hair's thread. He took that chance to place his feet on one of the spears and knocked himself into the air. He wasn't sure how good of an idea this was, since being in the air made him an easy target, and just as he figured, the Rider on his left Through its spear toward him. Raisor reacted just in time, knocking the spear back by the tip with his keyblade and sending him toward the back of the rider. As he got close, the Fungus began to spray their poison. Raisor quickly held his breath and, just as he neared them, the other Rider sent its weapon his way. Quickly reaction to save his skin, and also his head, rolled in midair, causing the spear to miss his bade; he took the chance to knock the Fungus off the Rider with an upward swing. He managed to knock them into the air off the rider. Since he wasn't going to get a second chance, he slammed his hands downward, catching himself on the ground in a handstand position, and used his muscles to jump back up. Before the two Fungus could his the ground, Raisor jumped toward the Rider he knocked the Fungus off of, sent it flying with a swing, and used the spear to jump up and do a combo on the Fungus causing them to disappear. As he fell, once again a spear was thrust toward him by the other Rider, and he pulled all of his weight to his right, spinning out of the way. He landed next to the knocked down Rider, and he quickly swung at his with the force of his fall, taking it out.

As he landed, he noticed there were a few Shadows that got crushed under the Rider. "Well, that's certainly not what I was expecting," He pointed his keyblade toward them and used his Fire spell, burning them away. While his magic might not be strong at all, it was still enough to get rid of Shadows without a problem. This was going to be a long fight, and he wondered how the other sides were doing. He couldn't make out anyone else on the South side either. He really hoped he wasn't the only one fighting at this point.

"Doesn't that hurt?" Karina asked Stratos as he got kicked by a Behemoth, again. She had lost track of how many times she had seen it happen, not that it had been that many times. Either way she had not been paying that much attention. "I am in a good mood so I am going to do you a favour." Karina pointed her keyblade at Stratos and a green magic shot from its tip enveloping Stratos in a green light. "Feeling better? Good because I need to have some fun and decided I would see if I could take out more heartless then you. Can't do that if you are injured right...." Karina hesitated as gears turned in her head. "Unless... We race the other teams." A devious smile crossed her face. If she actually worked together with someone then she might be able to beat Beuce and Glen's groups in killing their heartless. She can rub it in there faces before she know demolishes them. "Hey Beuce, Glen! I bet my team can beat our heartless before your guys's. And yes this is a challenge, good luck losers." Karina shouted across the entire library hoping they would hear her. She then looked at Stratos. "So what do you say, ready for some not so friendly competition. I want to kick their butts. Lets do this Er....." Karina hesitated not remembering the boys name.

Karina ran forward ready for another round instead of finishing her sentence. She didn't want to deal with the embarrassment of not knowing the other boys name. "I am going to continue dealing with the Soldiers to start with. I will worry about bigger enemies later." Karina told him. It wasn't that she couldn't fight the bigger heartless it was just what she preferred to start with. Karina thought through her list of skills. "Hmm splatter combo, that one sounds cool." Karina decided based on the name. Charging forward she started the string of six attacks that was spatter combo. A slight chuckle escaped her lips as she preformed this move on two of the soldiers. Next she pointed her keyblade at a group of the heartless. "STOP!" She shouted as flash of magic left her keyblade stopping some of the heartless in the area. Karina used that chance to run in an pick out the heartless she wanted to kill first, the soldiers. She used a basic combo on one and poison edge on the other. She would leave the second one to slowly die while her focus went to other soldiers. "Four down three to go. Hope your keeping up!" Karina stated. Karina then dodge rolled out of the way of one of the Behemoths stomps and cast gravity on three more soldiers. She started with a basic aerial combo, nothing too special but she was working her way up. When she landed from that she jumped right back in the air to perform Vorpal Blitz on the second one. The third aerial slam was saved for, She slowly built up her attacks for no other reason then it was fun and helped give her an order to do things in. "Well that takes care of that." Karina stated as both feet settled firmly on the ground.

"Now where is that little friend of mine that tried to stomp on me. I have one more hit saved just for him." Karina scanned over several Behemoths before she recognized the one she wanted. It was not all that far from her either. Karina wasted no time dodging between heartless and leaping over them to make it to the Behemoth. "Here we are." Karina had a devious smile on her look as she attacked the heartless. Once done she retreated back to Stratos. "Your turn. Let's see what you got." Karina encouraged actually planning to watch him fight this time instead of doing her own thing. She just wanted to gauge his power.

Cat heard Beuce bark orders and sighed. There were more heavy hitters on the south side than she'd have liked and she was paired up with Glen. At the very least, she figured she could channel all her rage at the hordes of Heartless. She saw Raisor use a Defender's shield -- or head? she wasn't entirely sure of the distinction, if there even was one -- to catapult himself behind it and deal some damage. It was smart, but that face was constantly throwing blizzard and fire magic in their faces. And suddenly she had an idea. She turned to spot two Defenders, their shields pressed together to form a wall of magic. "Hey, you mangy mutts!" They both turned to her and spat out their magic, one fire and one blizzard. She grinned and brought her keyblade in front of her to deflect the fireball and shoot it straight into the blizzard. It created a blast of smoke and she jumped behind the two. She threw her blade towards them like a boomerang, each hit causing them to twitch and yelp. After the third hit, they both dissipated.

She grinned, but almost on cue something ran into her, knocking her forward. She turned once she was on the ground and saw the Large Body scratching its head, almost as if it were confused. There were more of them scattered all around, and as she got up she could see it walking towards her. It seemed clumsy, but Heartless ran on instinct and their only instinct was to fight. She ran towards it, readying herself for a combo, but her first swing bounced off of its belly, practically knocking her back to the ground. "Can't you creeps ever just be easy to beat?" She figured the second verse would be the same as the first, but it was still ridiculously tedious to have to run or jump behind a guy just to land one hit, let alone kill him. It seemed like a waste of energy. Still, she noticed it getting ready to charge again, and she chuckled. "Fine, come and get me chubbs." It charged towards her and at the last second she rolled away. It stopped in its tracks and started scratching its head again, and she ran in to try for another combo. This time the hits landed and she kept going, the momentum of each swing tying the whole string of blows together. After a few hits, it turned and started throwing some kind of tantrum. It seemed mad, and she stepped back just in case. It stomped its feet a bit and then pounded its chest. Suddenly, it was sprinting towards her. She ran, but it followed her no matter how she dashed around. It stopped for a moment and she realized that she'd have to make a move. She focused on getting a good center of gravity where she stood and waited for it to charge again. As soon as it got close enough, she raised her Keyblade to guard the blow. It bounced back from the impact, as if it hadn't expected her to be that clever, and she hurried behind it while she still had an opening. Again she started swinging at its weak spot until it was finally defeated. Once the Large Body was done, she looked to see two Shadows run towards her. She took them both down effortlessly -- at least, it was effortless compared to what she'd just been through with the big guys -- but felt a scratch on her back. She shouted at the pain and saw two Soldiers twitching, almost as if they were celebrating their hit on her. She was mad, but it wasn't worth it to swing at these weaklings. She raised her Keyblade into the air and focused on casting a spell. "Mines!" The Soldiers were surrounded by eight bright mines on the floor. She grinned and took a few steps back. "What? Come and get me." The Heartless readied themselves and collectively four of the mines before disappearing. She winced. The scratch on her back still stung, but it was minor. She'd save her remaining magic in case anything bigger managed to get her.

Footsteps crashed hard against the marble floor as D'daear sprinted towards the south gate with all he had. It was not too long ago that the Heartless had invaded their last sanctuary. Wave after wave they came through, like a sea of darkness with the intent of claiming this world as their prize. All that opposed them were to perish and become one with them. So much noise was going on at once, too much for anyone to make sense of anything. The sound of armor's running about, blades colliding, and the hooves of heartless echoed in the library. Everyone had be assigned a section to defend in order to keep the number of heartless roaming in the area under control. Everything had just gone by so fast for D'daear that he had barely any time to react when that one Assault rider had attempted a preemptive strike on him. Were it not for his quick reaction, he probably wouldn't be here right now making his way to the south side. After he had fell the large adversary, he was keen on making his way to the south side already, but upon Beuce's orders it was now definitive that that was where he should be. So here D'daear is, making his way to the sea of heartless that were attempting to overpower the comrades at the south entrance. Cat, Glen, Eon, Raisor...his blue irises could make out their forms up ahead. With desperation to reach them, he accelerated. Upon reaching a twelve yards away from one of his comrades, a large rounded heartless burst from the crowd gathered on the south gate. Time began to slow as the purple haired boy made eye contact with the heartless. It was like the heartless desperately was attempting to break free from the chaos. Using its large round stomach, it had broken through a crowd of heartless soldiers. Perhaps it wasn't breaking free, but had attempted to slam itself against one of the keyblade wielders and missed. Whatever the case, it had broken through their defenses and had remained fixated on continuing its trajectory; the other soldiers went flying from the friendly charge, falling back into the crowd. D'daear stopped, readying the sweet memories keyblade into the battle stance that he had picked up back at Beast's castle. He laid eyes on the fat one, causing a bead of sweat to trail down the boy's cheek, feeling anxiety course through the veins that pumped life into him. If someone didn't stop this large one, then it might come back to haunt them in the long run. Teeth gritted as D'daear readied himself for the collision. The heartless charged on, letting its fat arms dangle behind itself as it continued to charge. Ethereal words raised through D'daear as he readied himself to intercept the incoming heartless. In honesty, he did not want to be doing this, and his determined face was beginning to fall apart at the sight of just how large the creature was, its size becoming larger and larger as it drew closer.

It was spherical in shape, with massive arms and hands, short legs, huge feet clothed in black curl-toe shoes, and a small head. This blue-skinned Heartless was clothed in a purple sleeveless bodysuit edged in gold trim; the trim also laced up the front of the body suit across its big belly. Along with black curl-toe shoes and black silver-trimmed pants, it also boasted a massive manacle in purple and silver on each wrist; three links of chain dangle from each of them. To top it off, a high silver collar covered its lower face, with a tiny silver wizard hat that ended in a trendy Heartless curl. The silver hat had been tipped, hiding its face. D'daear could not make out a face... that is until it reached within proximity of him. With one motion, the heartless revealed its face to him as its foot pounded the marble floor mid charge just a yard away from D'daear. A black face with orbous yellow eyes were staring back; the typical heartless face. The boy widened his eyes in in shock as it drew closer by the millisecond. This one was staring straight at him, and what’s more, he could promise anyone that this one had brows furrowed in an angry expression. Not liking what he was seeing, D'daear quickly broke stance and dove to the right just as the heartless was within three feet of distance. The large body flew past D'daear with incredible speed and force, causing the downed D'daear to feel the air resistance that the creature had gathered up. The heartless slammed into a large book shelf, knocking it over and sending pages upon pages from books flying everywhere. The boy's jaw gaped as the heartless picked itself up, turning to face him again. Could it be that the creature had targeted D'daear this whole time? Or had it set its sights on him the moment it saw him in the way?

Whatever the case may be, the creature began to make its way to D'daear, slowly stomping the floor with its massive feet. Quickly the keyblade wielder got up, reading his blade; although he was a bit shaken up from the last second decision. If he had not dodged out of the way, perhaps that bookshelf could have been him...or worse! There was no longer determination written on his face, but rather that same feeling he had felt back at beast's castle. The heartless launched itself at D'daear, slamming its stomach against D'daear's barely readied keyblade. Wincing at the struggle, the boy's plimsolls skidded harshly against the marble floor as he barely managed to block the attack. He came to a stop, and momentarily managed to ready himself for a forward assault. The large body had quickly picked itself up and once more dashed at the readied D'daear. This time, however, the creature had swung both arms from its side, slamming its massive curled hands against D'daear's side. The boy's eyelids gave way to widened eyes at the unexpected as his body went flying to the side. It was so sudden, that the boy's mind barely had time to register what had happened. Immediately upon finding the floor, D'daear's body skidded roughly before rolling to a stop. Eyes remained widened. That attack had really shaken him up. What’s more, he could see multiples of everything. Was he dazed? He slowly tilted his head up to find the large body heartless advancing towards him. With a groan, the boy went straight to slowly picking himself up; not using the keyblade as support. In pain he was, but the boy held it in. He shook his head, trying to remove the daze that ailed him. Heavy footsteps started to come in closer, calling D'daear's attention. The heartless continued, swaying its arms back and forth as it teetered its weight around in order to move.

D'daear uttered a complaint. With a quick motion, he gripped the keyblade and got into stance, feeling the anxiety still lingering. Heart began to race as the boy stood there, watching the heartless advance. He began to settle in position, but paused when he saw the heartless pick up pace, now reverting to another charge. That made him nervous, remembering the recent close encounter. Distressed, he began to take small steps back as he could feel that desire to flee tug at him. The floor beneath D'daear began to rumble as the Large body closed the distance between them. Should he run? Should he stand his ground? Dodge?! Charge back!? In the moment of indecisiveness, a thought occurred to him. Remembering back at the moment where he had ALMOST been squashed by the collision, he recollected something in regards to how the Heartless had continued to charge after he had evaded. Although the heartless had stopped, it was only because it had crashed into the book shelf, which left it downed for a second before it had pick itself back up. D'daear's eyes widened in acknowledgement to a potential strategy. Not wasting time, he caved in to the desire to retreat, with the heartless soon charging past the boy's previous spot.

Off the boy went with heartless in pursuit! The creature was probably already on his tail, but D'daear had to continue if he wanted to survive this. Surely enough, the footsteps began to become evident as the floor beneath D'daear rumbled in this grand chase. Up ahead he could make out the library wall. Turning his head slightly out of curiosity, he could see the heartless just a few feet away from him! Feeling a moment of nervous exhilaration, he ran turned away from the creature and remained fixated on the wall; every now and then hearing the fat one ram through a few desks and chairs that made up the obstacle course. Upon reaching a few feet from the wall, he jumped high into the air towards it, giving it everything he had. Immediately he felt his feet touch the wall, with which he did not hesitate to push off of. Amazingly he managed to flip over the large heartless as it rammed its massive body against the wall. The crash was loud, but muffled by the noise loud atmosphere brought on by the battle everyone was having. D'daear landed behind the creature and immediately lunged at the exposed back. The tip of the blade stabbed right into the heartless, evoking a reaction from the heartless. It quickly swung its massive arms around, barely missing as D'daear had been in a low stance during the lunge sequence. With momentary swiftness, D'daear jumped back to regain distance between themselves; he was distraught at the durability of this large body, nearly losing morale.

As Stratos was recovering from that derpy behemoth just hitting him with its leg again, he suddenly heard his team mate come up to him and say something about feeling like being nice to him. Well that was a good thing. As she cast cure over him, he felt that he was ready to get back on the saddle and kill more heartless. It was then that Karina said that she needed him to be her rival in this fight against the heartless. Friendly competition certainly wasn't a bad thing in this situation, and sure he might get shown up by her, but at least he wasn't going to let her just do it that easily. However, that changed when she said that they should actually team up and see who could finish their sections first. After she declared her challenge to Beuce and Glen, Stratos started to feel a bit more pumped up. Sure, they were trying to stop these heartless so they could leave the world and not die, but the situation at hand just felt a lot more fun.

He then gave a thumbs up to the girl and said, "yeah. No way are the two of us going to lose out on killing all these heartless first." She then charged at all of the heartless and started tearing through more of them like nobodies business. Karina was certainly a terrifying force, that much he could say. She then said that it was his turn to go and kill all of these heartless. Stratos was about to go and engage some of them, only he had no real way of killing them. Vorpal Blitz was on cool down, and after casting both blizzard and aero, his mp was fresh out for the moment. Sure he could try to slowly combo them all, but he needed this moment to look cool, and show off how awesome he could be. Which wasn't really much.

He then saw another assault rider get ready to come in and kill him. This was one was farther away and so he had more time to react to it, though, just running away from the giant centaur with a spear wasn't very awesome either. As he thought about it, he remembered that there was one thing he could do in this situation to end it all pretty fast. At the end of the day, Gilgamesh was also, truly a bro among bros.

Spinning his keyblade around for a bit, Stratos took his stance, ready to take on the charging heartless. It was then that cherry blossoms started falling from literally no where. This command was already something extremely weird. The petals fell as if creating a straight line that spanned the distance between the two opponents. Stratos closed his eyes as he stopped spinning the keyblade, and put it to his side as if doing kind of iaido skill. The assault rider had almost completely closed in on him when suddenly Stratos reopened his eyes. As if it had all happened within the blink of an eye, Stratos had seemingly dashed straight through the Assault Rider, with his keyblade outstretched as if it had actually been swung. The heartless simply turned into a puff of black smoke, having been felled in one hit. "So, how was that?" He then noticed the behemoth starting to comeback up to him in an attempt to strike him down once more. He turned to Karina and said, "if he's your little friend then he must be my crazy evil ex." Stratos quickly backed away from the behemoth's kick, only to roll back, jump on its leg, and then jump to the horn, hitting it twice. "Alright, you're up."

Cat noticed D'daear fighting a Large Body of his own. It seemed like he wasn't tough enough to take it down on his own, so she took advantage while its attention was on him and swung at the Heartless's back. He seemed to have weakened it a lot, because with a single swing she managed to bring it down. "You alright?" She heard a loud roar and focused her attention on the source: one of the Behemoths. It raised a leg and stomped on the ground, causing a small tremor. Honestly, it was terrifying to think that anything had that kind of power. "Honestly, I think we've gotta take the big guys down before we start whining about all these small fry. If we let those freaking things run around too long, it's gonna come back to bite us all." The five of them towered over the whole group, and she knew that there was no way any of them could take one down alone. If her ordeal with the Large Body earlier had taught her anything, it was that bigger baddies had a much less obvious weakness than their smaller cousins.

She saw the Soldiers from before run out of the ring of mines, collectively tripping four of them in the process before finally disappearing. Behind where the Soldiers had just stood, a Crescendo started hopping towards the wielders. It seemed harmless enough, but quickly it began to dance -- or sing? maybe both? she honestly had no idea what to call it -- and she could see a healing aura surround it. As she felt the sting from the Soldier's scratch flare up again, she had a thought. Reacting in the moment, she ran towards it and jumped on top of its head. As her feet hit it, she saw large green orbs appear around it. She bounced off it and back to the ground and touched an orb in the process. As soon as she did she felt better, almost as if she'd used a potion or cast cure on herself. She quickly made a mental note to remember that little trick for the others in the room. "Thanks for the help little guy." She let her Keyblade disappear and did something she'd normally never try: she picked up the Crescendo and threw it towards the four remaining mines on the ground. It hit the ground on the first and skidded onto the other three, but that did the trick. She grinned at her own ingenuity and summoned her blade again before turning back to D'daear. "If one of 'em hits you, just pick up an orb. And if one of them tries healing itself, jump on it. It's a good way to save magic." She wasn't sure if he'd caught the whole thing, but more importantly she wanted him to help spread the word. Anything they could do to save magic and take out Heartless more effectively would be best.

Anora looked at the grueling beast of heartless, stomp and weigh their head back as they started to destroy the fixtures of the castle, their large horn crashing into the pillars causing destruction. She needed to get to them. Turning her head she saw felt something fling at her. It was a sudden movement and she had lost herself in the thought of getting an attack on the Behemoth that she hadn’t realized the Soldier Heartless that was running toward her, flailing arms and the clanking of metal got her attention at just the right time she was able to parry the slashing claw attack. Pushing back on her attacker, she slashed at his body till he was on the floor, another heart expelling out of him. She had to focus, if she allowed her mind to wonder than she would have a serious heart problem there. She watched as Kel came into action, taking down his some of the other Heartless he was faced with. Anora noted how strong he had become since they last met, he worked on his style and noticed the improvement. It made her want to work even harder, to prove that this whole time she had disappeared, leaving her team, she had not just sat around in the darkness, but was training even harder to fight against the darkness. Another noise of that aggravating clanking sound and the female turned her attention to the two heartless who were coming at her, they were fast, and they seemed very angry. She might have killed their friend… if heartless could have friends… Her foot slid back as her back straightened, her arm lifted in an elegant movement, her keyblade an extension to the length of her arm. She allowed them to close in before taking a step to the side and swinging her keyblade against one of the soldiers, causing them to crash and bump into the other. This made their movement sluggish as they tried to get off one another, but before they could immobilize themselves again, she kept them down by beating into them till their heart’s dispersed into the sky. There was a tingle in her hand that ran up her arm to her shoulder. It was the feeling of excitement and pain. She hadn’t realized how tightly she gripped her keyblade until just now, which was odd for the female whose grip was normally light, yet firm. There was a blast and the female looked up as a Blue Rhapsody sent down a blast of Blizzard. Dodge rolling away from the attack, her blue eyes kept focus on the heartless as it flew away. She watched as the Blue rhapsody, along with other of its kind joined in a trail. Her eyes widened as she realized the spell using heartless were trying to make their way toward the entrance. She was not going to let them pass and into the Front entrance to the library. She made a promise to herself that she would not let anyone go into the darkness. Running she jumped over a few shadows that were twitching as usual, and lifted her blade. “Gravity!” She called, casting the spell on the flying blizzard heartless which all fell to the ground, close enough to warm them up with some fire. “Fire!” Anora cast, the fire that burned within her lit the match of her keyblade, she could feel her hand heat up around the handle before the tip shot out this large fire ball, flames licking one another magnificently before colliding with the squirming heartless that had met their match with their worst enemy. Though she had cast the spell, multiple little heart floating into the air, she could still feel the rush of fire booming through her, fueling her and her keyblade with the strength and passion to not give up this battle.

"Not too bad, but your form could use some work, and defiantly your strength. You have toothpick arms, I mean jeez you would have to try to be that weak." Karina stated as she shook her head at Stratos. She didn't know it was possible to that weak. Like how? Either way Karina nodded her approval, he did get the job done after all. Karina dodge rolled out of the way as she watched the Behemoth go after Stratos. "Wow that thing really hates you. Have fun. I am going to go take out more of the heartless. You have fun running away from that." Karina said as she left Stratos with the Behemoth. "At least I will know where to find it when I am done with more of these soldiers."

"Lets see what I can do now. Seven more soldiers, can't be that hard, but how is the question, how do I wish to annihilate them?" Karina spoke as she twirled her keyblade around in her hand. "Look closely and learn a thing or two. This is what strength will truly get you." Karina said to Stratos deciding to show her power through nothing but basic attacks. No need for fancy magic and such when she could easily take out all the soldiers with basic attacks. Karina ran forward bringing her keyblade down on the head of the first soldier. Karina then jumped forward at the next heartless slashing on an angle and then horizontally. She continued by doing a front flip and bringing her keyblade on another one. A soldier tried to attack Karina but she canceled it around by spinning, literally all she did was spin. Once she finished her cyclone she stumbled around a bit, obviously dizzy. "How do people do that." She mumbled as she regained her composer. Karina walked up and kicked the Soldier that she used Cyclone on. She then hit it with her keyblade, but first she had to let her childish side get the better of her. Karina then let her keyblade disappear. "Lets do this bare handed." She ran up to a soldier and punched it's face before kicking it in the crotch and delivering one final blow to it's chest. "Five down two to go." Karina ran to the next soldier, back flipping and kicking it in the jaw in the process. As she landed from that she followed it up by a front flip in which she brought her right leg down on its head. With that, the sixth heartless was dead, time for number seven. Karina ran up and stopped before it allowing it time to attack. As it did she grabbed it's arm and threw it to the ground before picking it up throwing it again then stomping on it's chest several times. This was at the cost of a few injuries on her leg but she could manage.

"Okay now I will come distract the behemoth for you." Karina said as she ran using various heartless's backs as stairs up to the Behemoth. She would jump from one back to another until she got to the Behemoth. On the final jump she summoned her keyblade and dug it into the heartless's back. She then sat down and held her keyblade. tight as the Behemoth tried to get her off it's back. "This is fun." She giggled as she tried to keep her balance. "Falling might hurt but you know anytime before that is fun so why the hell not." Karina seemed to be struggling slightly to stay on but not as bad as she could be. "Your turn weakling." She taunted Stratos a bit just for the fun of taunting him.

Once the first group of heartless were taken care of, Kel turned his attention to a shadow that seemed to be moving around on the ground. Seeing this as a chance to strike, he plunged his keyblade into the floor, only to find that the shadow had split into two around his keyblade and reformed behind him. "Since when could they do that?" Not once has he ever seen a shadow heartless do that before. What really sucked was the fact that the same thing happened for the next 4 shadows, which was starting to annoy Kel. "Why don't we reform and fight like a man er shadow!" He exclaimed, before he noticed that his own shadow had gotten longer. When Kel turned around to see why his shadow had extended, the culprit was a mass legion of the shadows that had slipped past him. "Oh, okay? That's ... new." He was definitely dumbstruck at what he was looking at before him.

Now despite the fact that they were bigger and gain a small amount of intimidation, they were just an unbalanced mass of heartless shadows who stumbled and fell right onto Kel's keyblade, causing them all to burst this time leaving Kel dumbfounded at what had just occurred before him. It kinda made since that they wouldn't be able to handle a giant form like that seeing as how they were used to being small and extremely weak, but if doing that made them easier to kill, then their would be no complaints from him. In fact this now left him opened to target the next heartless on his kill list.

The Large Body approaching him was definitely the fattest heartless he's seen, but he didn't think that would be an issue at all. In fact the first thing that Kel did was to the heartless was to charge and attack it, only to have his blow bounce off the belly of the heartless. Surprised but not deterred, Kel tried again and again and again, each time getting the exact same result each time. It wasn't before long that Kel was furiously beating at the heartless, trying to break past the defense of fat it had. Minutes had passed and Kel had gotten tired of doing the same thing over and over again. So he stuck his keyblade in the ground to catch his breath. That was about when the large body finally decided to do something and slide towards Kel on its stomach, which, despite being tired, lead to wielder to quickly draw his keyblade in a samurai like strike to counter the heartless, which surprisingly knocked it on its back like a turtle. "Hmm." Kel pondered, setting up his keyblade in a golf like fashion. "FORE!!!!" Kel had put all of his frustration into the swing and sent the heartless flying conveniently towards the behemoth, which did nothing to the behemoth but took care of the Large Body. Great, that's one less fat heartless to worry about and an entire army of heartless to face. "Note to self, strike the fat one either from behind or get it on its back." Cause there was no way that he was going to go through that again. That was waaaaay to much work just to find out that knocking them on their back would be more effective than pretty much tenderizing them. While Kel attempted to rest again, a loud a giant footstep nearby him. Turns out the Behemoth wasn't all that fond of Kel's hole in one of its face. "No rest for the weary I guess." Hefting his keyblade on his back, the wielder looked at the behemoth right in its eyes and ran right for it.

Stratos listened to Karina as she chastised his strength which was...totally called for. There was absolutely no denying what she said seeing as he was pretty wimpy in the...well everything department. It was then that she ran off to go deal with more of the small fry while she left him to deal with the- "oh come on!" Stratos started running away as fast as he possibly could go while the Behemoth just charged him. This was not fun, not in the slightest. He quickly turned around to guard against the bucking behemoth, as it flung him into the air and then jumped him into the air and basically did an aerial slam on him. Stratos put his keyblade in front of him once more to guard against the slam only for it to launch him into the ground. The behemoth was then about to crush Stratos with its foot, only for him to dodge roll away just in the nick of time.

Stratos regained his composure as he saw that the behemoth was ready for another attack, as it charged right after him and tried to kill him. Using his ability to high jump, Stratos vaulted over the behemoth as it charged him, causing the behemoth to try and stop short, and skid across the hall. He was definitely doing a good job of distracting this behemoth while Karina went along and killed the smaller heartless. In fact, she seemed to be doing quite the number on them. He watched as she didn't even use her keyblade to just punch out a heartless here and there. Damn that woman was strong. He had to stop admiring her strength as the behemoth seemed ready to kill Stratos again. Dodge rolling all over the place to avoid getting crushed by the thing, he decided that maybe a bit of offense would do well against this thing.

As the behemoth began to charge at him once more, Stratos stood up as if he were a matador. As the behemoth charged forward once more, Stratos quickly jumped into the air, only to cast Gravity on himself, in order to fast fall onto the behemoth's back. Once there, he went in and attacked the thing with a few regular combos, doing pretty minimal damage, until it managed to buck him off and send him hurtling across the hall. He knew he could keep doing this, though, and was about to when Karina had stopped killing the soldier heartless and finally came up to the behemoth. After she unleashed a singular hit on the thing, the behemoth fell down for a bit, in some sort of a stupor.

Well that would keep the thing down for a bit. It was then that Karina told him that he was up, and called him a weakling to boot. He knew, though, that it was in the spirit of the competition and thus said, "weakling. Why young lady I'll have you know that that is an entirely true statement." He gave a grin as he said this, "though being a weakling lets me do some things better than someone with your herculean strength." An assault rider had started to charge towards Stratos, only for him to continue up with this little speech. "After all, while being able to beat things up with your bare hands may be fun, it's also pretty fun to just be able to do this." He stretched out his fingers, creating a miniature sun in his hand, that he simply tossed behind him. The assault rider was soon engulfed in a large sphere of flame that completely killed it. "So miss muscle, how about you and this weakling tear through some more heartless before our competition does?"

Looking around, Raisor tried to see if they were making a dent in the army of Heartless. Given that it felt like there were at least one thousand of them, it was hard for him to really see any difference. He noticed Cat and D'daear fighting next to a Behemoth to his right, while he was a little more focused on the enemy in front of him. He still had the second Assault Rider in front of him to deal with, as well as the Fungus. In all honesty, he really didn't have the urge to take on any more of those guys for the time being. He thrust his keyblade toward the ground, causing the tip to dig into the floor a little. He hoped this wouldn't backfire, but he needed a way to get away from his predicament.

"Fire!" He yelled as he shot the spell from his keyblade right toward the ground. As heat enveloped around him, the blast caused smoke to rise around as well. It wasn't large, but it was enough of a smokescreen to get away for a second without being bothered any more. He took the chance to run away toward Cat and D'daear, trying to get them to form a group and help each other out. There was also the fact that if they got surrounded and in trouble, it'd be better to have someone close so they could get some cover. He ran and knocked a some soldiers out of the way, one by one. After knocking three of them, he noticed a little heartless bouncing on the ground. He wasn't sure what it was, but it was certainly strange to see it just do that.

While he was distracted by the strange heartless, two Shadows popped from the ground below him and took a swipe. He managed to block them and knock them back. At least Shadows were weak compared to anything else; it was their annoying dissolving ability that made them obnoxious. He could easily knock them out in one swing, but it wasn't going to be easy if they kept disappearing on him. At that point, the strange heartless, which he finally got a good look at being a Crescendo, saw him and bounced over. It wasn't going to be something pretty if that thing started tooting its horn. He quickly dashed forward, trying to knock it down, when a third and fourth shadow popped out from behind him and got on his back. Raisor didn't particularly enjoy giving piggy-back rides to heartless, and he stopped running. Trying to them off his back, and threw himself backwards toward the ground, slamming down hard. As he got up, he got goosebumps all over.

"I'll have to remember never to do that again. Wrestling moves are a big no-no as of now." He shook a bit, his back stinging from the slam.

As he got up, the Shadows surrounded him. He was getting infuriated with these pesky creatures, especially since they were doing the one thing that made them annoying. Plus, that Crescendo would cause problems if it got near him next to another, bigger heartless. He had to get rid of them quickly to make sure something simple doesn't become something problematic. He ran toward the first Shadow and took a large horizontal swing at it. The Shadow jumped out of the way, and Raisor immediately let go of his keyblade and gripped it in a new position, slicing to the creature and causing it to vanish. As he did, the other three jumped toward him together. The good part was, they were simple creatures, and Raisor used the opportunity to hack at the three of them, causing a small black smoke to appear where they once were. As they disappeared, the Crescendo seemed to back off. It apparently thought that it could bring in trouble while Raisor was occupied, but that wasn't going to happen. Raisor flipped his keyblade again and took aim, tossing his keyblade toward the Heartless and causing it to vanish. Luckily that was a few more problems out of the way.
